Roc Holiday Village brings a certain sparkle back to downtown Rochester, stirring up nostalgia for so many who fondly remember the past traditions of the Midtown monorail, Christmas shopping, store window gazing, and so much more! Free activities are endless, from ice skating to crafting for kids, and of course visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus. 2020 may have kept us from enjoying the Holiday Villages enchantment, but we are looking forward to many memories to be made in years to come!

The most magical part of the holiday season! A great way to bring together local vendors, delicious food, music, ice-skating and our local community and spread the holiday cheer! I went last year for the first time and was absolutely blown away at all of the activities- fun for kids of all ages. I look forward to seeing the village come back to life in 2021.

I’m a holiday nut and this just made it that much better. My daughter loved seeing Santa and all the details that went along with it, from the decor to the kind staff. Roc Holiday Village is the event that Rochester has been missing. It’s fun for the whole family and includes visits with Santa Claus, crafts, delicious best food trucks, ice skating, and wonderful vendors and and shopping. We go multiple times each December to enjoy all the festivities, it the highlight of our year!

The ROC Holiday Village is just what our community needed! The Lodge was warm and cozy filled with live music, food and drinks. The vendors were great...bought so many fun items! We also rented the bubble 3 times with friends. We are looking forward to going next year! Great job to all involved in making this happen!

Loved the animal petting experience. They had free ice skating but we didn’t try it. So crowded. So many food stalls and gift places. Chai latte was so good! Great experience for kids!

So much fun!! It’s great to see people from all over our city gather to enjoy and share the holiday spirit. Free ice skating, supporting local vendors, enjoying some food and drinks with friends – all brought to our fair city by the generous hearts of a small group of dreamers! I can’t wait for the return of this magical place in 2021!

Sad to miss the Roc Holiday village this year. This event has brought life back to downtown Rochester for the holiday season since it started back up. It’s the best and I can’t wait to visit in 2021!!

Such a fun holiday event that our family hopes to make a tradition! Visited with the kids during the day for Santa, crafts, and iceskating (all free!) and returned with friends in the evening for drinks and music (free!). It was a beautifully executed event that struck just the right balance between entertainment and simplicity, encouraging the community to gather, relax, and enjoy just being together. Can’t wait for next year!

ROC Holiday Village has become a fun tradition for our family! We usually go twice per year...once with our kids for a family day and once without kids for a date night! We loved the ice skating rink, and eating inside an igloo! The pop up restaurants had amazing food and drinks along with live music from local musicians. Breakfast and story time with Santa was perfect for our kids! Parking was easy in a nearby parking garage within a few min walking distance. I personally loved the vendor booths to get some Christmas shopping done! I also love how they celebrate all holidays not only Christmas. The wooden floors and tent structures are gorgeous and you can tell a lot of time and hard work went into installation! We can’t wait for RHV 2021!!!

Free ice skating is fun. Didnt get to see the Holiday Vendor set-up, but the post Christmas weekend was nice. Lodge was warm, arcade, crafts and Heated Igloos all neat. Please consider adding Kwanzaa elements next year.

Roc Holiday Village is an amazing event! Cant wait for 2021!

After hearing all of the hype and rav reviews about Roc Christmas Village, we decided to visit there on Saturday 12/28/19 to join in on the all the fun. We paid $7 to park in a nearby ramp garage. After our visit, I still have no idea what all of the hype was about. We saw maybe 24 vendors in small pop-up tents selling wines, pretzels, mustards, trinkets, and the like. Roughly half of those vendors were selling only wine. We saw maybe six clear plastic bubbles with people inside hanging out and drinking wine. There were a few fire pits with some limited seating that was already occupied. The small skating rink was crowded with very little room for us to skate. And we only saw three food trucks. Not a whole lot to get excited about here. This place definitely did not live up to the expectations we had based on all of the hype we heard about it. We stayed for maybe 30 minutes and then left. All I can say is that this was a missed opportunity for the promoters to bring some meaningful holiday fun and activity to downtown Rochester.

Santa was amazing with kids of all ages!! Great activities for kids, great family time! Cant wait to make this part of our family Christmas traditions.

Nicely set up. Kids loved Santa. Free ice skating with the kids was fun but crowded.
