We went there to check on an empty hole in the center console of our new 2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. It was the only one to be found in MN, but to the dealer we found it at was almost a 200 mile round trip and they were not helpful in trying to find out why the USB port was missing. All videos and pictures showed it as standard equipment, yet it was missing. They got to the bottom of what was going on and the original dealer wouldnt even try. Very pleased with the service and will continue to use local no matter the problem.
Purchased a new vehicle in February with Patrick. Great experience and love the new vehicle. Only rating 2 stars because although I am satisfied with the truck it has taken over three months for the floor mats that were suppose to come with truck to get here. Still waiting and although it sounds like a supplier issue you would think Chevy would be more on top of things. Will update when or if they ever do come in.

Patrick stokes is the salesman i dealt with. I was intrested on a vehicle and couldn’t come to an agreement with my trade in so the following day i ask if they would come down on the price if i finance thru my bank and no trade in and this is what he replied. Basically it was a no we don’t negotiate and must finance thru us. So if you’re buying from them make sure you are ready to pay full asking price and finance thru them.
Most staff doesn’t know how, or doesn’t care to wash there hands been working there for months, honestly disgusting and disappointing during a time like this be safe and get your service and vehicles somewhere other then Rochester motor cars, also put my two weeks in and after they had the audacity to “let me go” three days after, really shows how they treat the staff all around the company

It’s been a week since I purchased a different truck from these superstars. Asher my sales rep was second to none, provided diligent attention to my questions, provided documentation to back up his statements, was super informative and provided too rate assistance and instruction on using the technology features, even called a couple days later to see how I was getting along with my truck. Channon the finance manger also earned accolades, IMHO got me a super awesome interest rate, making the purchase even less challenging. The other aspect i sincerely appreciated was the evaluation of my trade, as always wish I could have gotten more but sincerely believe it was the best price possible, without gimmicks! Sadly, I can’t recall his name but he really did treat my trade and I right!! Putting everything together and given my past experiences with the Rochester motor cars family, my 5th purchase, the customer service has always been exemplary and this time was no different … actually a little better because this time I got a Chevy!! I won’t hesitate at all with doing business with them in the future and neither should you!!!

The service team at Clements was amazing. We were traveling through town on the Friday of a Labor Day weekend and we noticed smoke coming from our wheel. We were fortunate to pull off the interstate and limp our vehicle to a service station (Not this one, in fact we went to two and were turned away). Fortunately, we noticed the Chevrolet dealership across the parking lot from Tires Plus and thought it was worth asking even though our vehicle wasn’t a Chevrolet. From the moment we walked in, all of the staff was empathetic to our situation and rallied to help us get back on the road. The service tech borrowed us his personal vehicle to locate parts in town and the knowledgeable mechanic shifted his work load onto another mechanic because he knew how to fix our issue. The customer service manager was provided by the direction of the owners to make it all happen. Within 2 hours we were back on the road. I will definitely be planning on making my way back....in the meantime, if you’re looking for a dealership with great people it’s this one. (And for the record I don’t right reviews lightly)

I highly recommend going to see him if you are in need of a car! I cannot remember the name of the sweet woman who helped us with our loan (Jennifer possibly)? But she too was incredibly helpful and personable. We did have a small issue with the.car the first few days that we had it, we went in to see Mike about it and he made sure it went into the repair shop right away and it was ready for us the next morning at no cost. We are definitely lifetime clients and will be back to talk to Mike about a second car soon!

My wife and I purchased a minivan here. It was a year old at the time and 2.5 years later the van has been great we are really happy with it. The sales experience was acceptable, but not stellar. They say fast, fair, and simple at Clements, but it was not fast. Our salesperson, who looked to be in his twenties, would leave us for long periods of time for no obvious reason. He then sat us down with a booklet and did a slideshow presentation about how Clements operates as a dealer. It seemed to be a bit excessive, almost as if I were applying for a job there instead of shopping for a car. We left satisfied, but they need to streamline their process somewhat.
If youre looking for more bang for your buck, look elsewhere! Clements sells nothing more than clear problem vehicles at a price thatll put the hurt on your wallet. 0/10, I wouldntrecommend anyone buy a vehicle from these guys. We purchased a 2011 Chevy equinox and within two weeks I noticed that the oil they had changed was black, the sway bar brackets were shot and the transmission was leaking oil, clear value problems from Clements! Im sure their shop did such a great job inspecting the vehicle before sale.

Mike was very helpful and never came off pushy but at the same time was all about helping me find all the features and benefits in a used Ford explorer sport. I was in sales and moved to finance manager at malone motors in Hutchinson Mn. And if half my sales team worked as hard as Mike I would of wrote up twice the deals. If you dont mind over paying for your vehicle, being underpaid for your trade or being disrespected then this is the place for you. Ive been in and around the car business since I was old enough to work and I like to be an educated consumer so when I walk in I pretty well know what the value is of the vehicle Im looking at and that Im trading in. Before I made the 1-1/2hr drive to look at the vehicle I had 5 rounds of email and five phone calls with sales people to confirm what I was looking at and make sure that it was worth the drive and still available. They knew when I was leaving and my arrival time and wait until I am 20 minutes away to inform me about their haggle free pricing. Keep in mind I specifically asked about pricing on about conversation number two. Fine, I get it. Mistakes happen. The real kicker for me was the vehicle I drove down there to trade in. Their offer for trade was about 65% less than what it should have been. It wasnt until I told them it was insulting and walked out that I get a phone call on the way out that suddenly they can almost double their offer. Thanks, but no thanks. If you want to have haggle free pricing thats fine. Tell every customer from the very beginning. Then dont play the dirty car salesman games that frustrate everyone so much and is supposed to be the reason that haggle free pricing exists. You even state it in your Clear Value Promise. Highly suggest going somewhere else.

Had an alignment done a week ago and steering wheel became off centered after a few days. Took the vehicle back to get it fixed at no charge and picked it up today. As of this moment (11:23pm) I am stuck at an intersection with my family coming back from the cities with no battery as I assume the mechanic who worked on the vehicle didnt connect the battery or alternator right. Battery is less than a few months old and alternator was replaced about a year ago. Definitely do not recommend to anyone.
I was very disappointed with clements. After the sales manager drove my vehicle she dropped a name. Which was Floyd which i was told my trade in had transmission problems. After she got back my vehicle didnt leave the lot, or got inspected by anyone. It was parked where she left it. Dropping a name saying there is transmission problems is not a good sign considering after she got back my vehicle was still parked in the spot she parked and didnt leave. She decided to appraise my vehicle less for what its worth. You dont lie to people. Clements you are not worth my time or money or anyone elses time or money since your sales manager is willing to lie. I will be talking with the person that is above her and get to the bottom of why she needed to lie.
Recently traded in for a new 2017 Outback. We worked with Cameron Pederson, at Clements Subaru in Rochester, MN. Cameron was very friendly, helpful and professional, throughout the process. We were also impressed with the other staff we interfaced with. Best auto purchase we have experienced. Close second best was the 2013 Outback we purchased at the same place 4 years ago. Love our Outback!
Fixed problem came in for with car. Fixed an additional problem and broke a hose in the process. Thankfully my wife noticed the check engine light was on so she let someone know and they fixed the problem quickly and free of charge. I just dont understand how someone didnt notice they had broken a hose in the process of fixing something else and then didnt notice the check engine light was on to signal something was wrong.
I had a great experience at Clements! Our salesman, Michael Hasley, did a great job in explaining the car we were interested in, financing and was just a nice guy all around. The one thing that could make my experience better is for the dealer to splurge and spend the extra 100 bucks for a second key. Just a huge pet peeve that I buy a new car and have to immediately drop 100 bucks for an extra key! Other than that, a great experience and I would shop Clements again.
Car was repaired after hitting a deer. Alignment appears to be perfect and headlights are adjusted to perfection. Paint job looks great too! Kudos to Chad and his team!

There are precious few people who will really bend over backwards to help you at Clements Subaru. When you find them, remember their names and return to them. They will serve you well.Over the past few years Ive had exceptionally spotty service with Clements. They held onto my vehicle for 3 months while repairing it, so I spent the entire summer without a vehicle. In the meantime, I had several acquaintances tell me that they had just had their car repaired by them and were in and out within the same time frame that my car was still in line. Repeated conversations with their service department reflected their business. I was nice and understanding, but it just dragged on and on.When looking to purchase another vehicle this year, I contacted 3 salesmen. One failed to respond, another responded 3 weeks after I had already leased a car, and the third was the diamond in the rough who worked with me very closely through the whole process. Email and phone calls do not work, you must walk in or make an appointment. Be prepared also to sit and wait for a long time while your salesman bounces around between customers. They do not have enough *good* salesmen to handle their weekend business.These guys are likely only still here because they are the only Subaru game in town. I hope they continue to improve their service.

After driving the same car for almost 16 years, I was quite nervous about the car shopping experience. Tim and Mike were very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and accessible, but not pushy or aggressive at all! The entire process, from when I first walked in the door, through all the financial stuff, to when I drove off the lot, I felt like I was a princess, or the president or someone who deserves VIP treatment like that! Every aspect was outstanding! Even when I walked in, and my salesmen were getting the car ready, the other salesmen there knew who I was, what I was there for, and really made me feel at home. And when I say every step of the process was smooth, I mean it! Rick was a miracle worker with the whole finance process and really went the extra mile to help me get the lease for the car I wanted, I ended up getting my dream car, at a price I could afford, and with only 1 major surprise--A GIANT RED BOW!!! Id joked when I first walked in that the only 3 things I cared about were that it needs to be a 4 door car, that it is automatic, and that I get a giant red bow on top like on TV commercials. The bow was just a joke, but the fact that they made that happen just shows how much everyone at Clements actually cares about their customers and they pay attention to the little details. I cant quit singing the praises of Clements! If I knew shopping for a car could be so stress free and enjoyable, I would have upgraded my car a long time ago!

And in the end our truck looks as good if not better than the day we bought. My wife and I had our 2006 Chevy Cobalt repaired here after being rear ended. I had some transmission issues that needed attention as well. The Collision Center did an excellent job on the repairs and they were completed in a timely fashion (2 days ahead of schedule). They were able to coordinate the transmission repair with body work as well. The manager, Chad, did an excellent job of helping me through the process and ensuring that I was satisfied. After the repairs, they even detailed my car at no additional charge. I will definitely consider Clements in the future if I need any body work or car repairs.

The repair of my mirror went great, but you should further check your vehicles, as it cost $$ to fix a used vehicle with warranty, since oil / emissions are not covered. bumper to bumper warranty over$3,000, estimated repair$1,000, warranty covered $0, had truck about 4 months, with oil change. Need to fix all service bulletin issues before resale.
Went here to get service in my girlfriends car. We replaced the radio and it needed to be unlocked to work. The technician, was very helpful! Since it was such a quick and easy fix we were not charged for the service, this was such unexpected behavior from a dealership. If you need service the staff is helpful and honest, highly recommended.
I have been driving for 17 years and have never had a brand new car. I was so nervous to make the big leap of purchasing something BRAND NEW. Tom and the finance team at Clements were AMAZING. It was such a simple stress free process on leasing my new Cruze. They really worked with me on getting me the best interest rate and just overall did a great job with the whole experience. I had made my appointment through the on-line option. I would usually get an e-mail confirmation, but this time I didnt, so I thought I should call to check if they received the request. I called the morning of the appointment (4 pm on July 16) and from there, all the staff from the appointment manager to the service manager were greatly accommodating! While I now realize I should have called earlier than I did, the Clements staff went out of their way to make the appointment happen, and I really appreciate their efforts!

We can honestly say that dealing with Tom Dunford (used car salesman) and Cameron Pederson (finance manager) at Clements was a great experience. They both went above and beyond, making sure we got what we wanted without pushing the sale on us. There wasnt the typical sales pitch that you get from other dealerships...there were no continuous calls and emails trying to get you to buy from them. There is no doubt that we will go back to Clements for our next purchase and we will make sure to look up Tom unless he is out duck hunting!

Storm was the sales person who helped me purchase my 2014 Ford Escape. I went in with a lot of anxiety being a single woman. He was very understanding right away. When I was purchasing the vehicle he explained every step of the way of what we were doing and what to expect next. After the vehicle was purchased he helped me with setting up the settings in the car to my needs and explained what each button was for and how to work them. I will recommend Clements to friend and family.
I feel you could have done better on researching our extended warranty so we didnt have to come back twice to fix the problem. We had to pay 750.00 only to have to stop back the next day and have it reversed. We live 10 miles away from the dealership so it is not that easy to just show up there whenever. They did apologize for the error but it could have been prevented.

Chad basically told us its not his problem and that we would have to take it up with the insurance company. Im truly appalled and disappointed.
