Not too long ago, I would have rated Rochester Toyota five stars. Ive bought several cars through them, and had services for many years. I sent my son there with an issue with one of his tires. He had an appointment. Despite this, he was kept waiting 2 hours. After the wait, they told him his tire was too dusty to have anything done with it and pushed him to buy four new tires. (Current tires have plenty of tread yet.)I instructed him to get a second opinion at another location. They fixed his tire with no issue for less than $30. Its been fine since then.This was a disappointing experience that I dont care to repeat.
Seng is an amazing person to work with! He helped me figure out everything that I needed to know, as well as his co workers when he wasn’t available. He made sure the process went by smoothly, and even kept me updated with everything going on behind the scenes. I couldn’t be more thankful for Seng and the rest of the team behind the scenes by helping me with finding a new car. Great group of people and we’ll definitely be back in the future!
Nice place and friendly people. My only complaint is the scheduling person. They cant keep over scheduling the auto techs there. Thats on the person making the schedule not the service guys. They did great! Please figure out the logistics of how many vehicles fit in the garage and how long the services take. I do love my truck though. Thank you.
From the start, I knew my experience at Rochester Toyota would be a good one. I called with some questions about some specifics on a vehicle I was interested in. Even knowing I was calling from 3.5 hours away, Kris N. was quick to respond and followed up to make sure I had all the information I needed. I wasnt sure if Id make it in to look at the vehicle, and actually stopped at two other dealerships in the twin cities prior to heading to Rochester Toyota. When I was finally on my way, Kris was able to hold it for a bit to ensure my trip to Rochester wouldnt be wasted.Each car buyer is different, and some need more guidance than others. Kris did an excellent job analyzing my needs and working through the process in a way that made this one of the best car buying experiences Ive ever had. He was patient through my questions and gave me the time I needed to make the decision to purchase without ever being pushy. Kris is someone I will seek out in the future for my next car purchase and I would gladly drive out of my way to work with him again.After making the decision to buy, the financing/paperwork has always always been my least favorite part of the process. Stuart H. is a rare gem in this department and made the process as pain free as possible. He ensured that the loan terms were the right fit for me and was even able to offer a lower APR than my credit union.In short, everyone I worked with at Rochester Toyota was fantastic and made it worth the drive for a better car buying experience.

Dexter Kemmet was extremely helpful in assisting us in buying a minivan (Sienna). He allowed us to rent the car while completing the transactions. I will come back to Dexter when I want to buy another car. I will refer Dexter to all my friends.
Salesman Bob was great, but getting the license plates was a huge pain. After a half dozen phone calls and dealing with several rude employees (Barb) I finally was put in contact with Dora at loan department who stated they didn’t have the title from when they bought vehicle in July so they could not issue plates. That is not my problem and maybe you should not have sold the car. 30 days later I finally have my plates and will not return to Rochester Toyota again.
We had a great experience with Rochester Toyota buying a 2018 Camry for our daughter. Our salesman George Czapiewski was very helpful and made our car buying experience amazing! Ben the finance guy was also very helpful and made the experience much better than at previous car dealerships. We will definitely be coming back!
My wife and I recently decided to buy a Toyota 4Runner and found our vehicle at Rochester Toyota. What a wonderful experience! We contacted Angela by phone who scheduled an early evening visit for us. She was there to meet us and introduced us to Julian Kroll who walked us through the purchase and was a fantastic representative for Rochester Toyota. He treated us wonderfully and introduced us to Ben Groth who walked us through the financing program and found us a great rate! Vang Yang surprised us with a strong value for our trade-in. The dealership closes at 8 PM, but these people stayed with us until 9:30 or so to complete the purchase. We were treated like family and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thanks to all of you that treated us so well and made a stressful purchase so easy. This was by far the best experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle. We love our 4Runner! We highly recommend Rochester Toyota and all the friendly people we met there!

We had a great experience buying a used car from this dealership. Mike Berletic and Stu helped us out. Mike asked a lot of good questions to figure out our needs and what we were looking for in a car. Everyone was very patient and did not try to rush us into buying a car. We took our time trying to decide between two cars that we were trying to choose between. This is the second car I have purchased from this dealership and I couldn’t be happier with the way things went, again. Mike and Stu went above and beyond to ensure that all our questions were answered and were very honest about the exact conditions of the car that we were purchasing.On another note, I’ve also only had five star experiences bringing in our two cars in for repairs and maintenance at this dealership. Very straightforward and they also give Mayo employees a discount which is awesome.

Because I want the exact model, color, and options I am willing to travel to buy a car. I called Rochester Toyota regarding the purchase of a new vehicle and talked to Maria the Sales Manager. She would NOT sell me a vehicle that is sitting on their lot because I am out of state. Maria stated that due to the car shortage, they are only selling cars to local people with the hope they will bring the vehicle back for service. I will make a note to never do business with Rochester Toyota in the future because of their decision.

Fantastic customer experience! Couldnt have asked for more personable, transparent, helpful, fun people to work with in purchasing a vehicle. We arrived later in the day from out of town, Cole and crew happily stayed past business hours to allow for us to complete our purchase. And the vehicle is great! No surprises! I biffed figuring out my remote start and called back, Cole walked me through and offered to make it right 100% if there would have been an issue. (There wasnt- it was user error.) Really felt taken care of. Highly recommend!

These guys absolutely killed it! I looked online for weeks and saw they had a couple of cars I liked. When I came in Nhia approached very welcoming and was very transparent with pricing and everything. I didnt need much guiding when deciding which car, but he answered every question. When it came to the financing part, Pat was extremely efficient and patient. I couldnt ask for a better experience when buying for the first time from a dealership.. 10/10 would shop again and 10/10 would reccomend!

They were very easy to deal with. Once I decided to buy, they were very easy to work with on the financing. I already had a commitment from my bank for financing but they gave me a better deal. I had already bought one vehicle from them and was glad I found one I liked on their lot. Both the sales and service departments are out standing from my experience. I bought my 2019 Toyota Camry from Kris Nguyen in Sept. of 2019. I told him what I was looking for, wanting all the safety features, and he treated me with such respect and didn’t question what I wanted. He was patient, friendly, respectful and treated me like I was his only customer. I never felt rushed which was very important to me being a senior citizen. He was able to show me the car I was wishing for and I bought it. I feel I can call him with any questions or concerns I have and he is always good about helping me. Was looking for a charger and mike b was amazing..explained everything and was just very customer oriented.. and also the loan officer we had did an amazing job as well and walked us through everything was a really good experience and they had a kid area so the kids were happy playing on the iPads they even asked if we could go back the next day 😂. Horrible experience. Certified pre-owned 2018 vehicle was found to have rust. We’ve tried to work with Rochester Toyota in good-faith to resolve the situation and no one is following up in a timely manner. Having to seek legal assistance as they don’t respond to multiple voicemails or emails. Totally unacceptable. We’re returning customers and drove from an hour and a half away. How things have changed! Don’t buy a car here!!!!

Called ahead from the cities and Amalia said that she would put a hold on the car while I drove the 90 minutes to get there. Huge dealership with tons of vehicles and customers all over the place. Even so, she met me at the door (I was one hour later than I had said) and she knew it was me! Id love to know how she did that :). She already had the vehicle washed and sitting close to the store. To make a long story short, she was amazing. I bought the SUV and we talked about traveling and Romania. Stu, the man who handles the paperwork came into the office as is necessary and the fun continued. Great guy that made me feel like family as did Amalia. Purchased a used Toyota Camry from Rochester Toyota last weekend. The place was packed with customers but got great service. Worked with Julian and he went out of his way to meet our needs without being pushy. He was extremely patient and gave us the info we needed as first time Toyota customers. They had some issues with the computers so sale took longer than expected, but again, Julian did his best to keep us happy.

He was very informative .If you buy a car from him, you have his cell # if you would run into a problem. I have bought 4 Toyota’s in my lifetime and never had a problem with any of them. We purchased a used vehicle here and they were great. Happy with our purchase and our experience here. We spoke with Cole over the phone and drove from La Crosse Wisconsin they had it ready to test drive when we arrived. There was some seat damage we were not really happy about but Cole said he would have it fixed for free. We arrived at 7pm and they close at 8. We decided to purchase the vehicle and they ended up staying with us till 11 getting the paper work done.Ill definitely consider purchasing cars from here again when the time comes.

Very nice and clean dealership. When you walk in they greet you right away. Bought a Rav4 from George. He was great and very knowledgeable about the vehicles. Working with him was what got us to purchase our first Toyota. Wasnt impressed with the sales manager Brandon, but I guess it is his job to devalue your trade-in. One thing that could be improved on is the time it takes to pay for the vehicle. We waited a hour just to meet with finance person pay for the vehicle. So far we love the Rav4 and had a very good experience with George!

I purchased my Mazda from Rochester Toyota about a month ago and the whole experience was awesome! 12/10 would DEFINITELY do it again!! My guy George C was able to hold the car for the 2+ hours it would take me to drive from Madison, WI to Rochester so I could test drive it (and I was so grateful for that.) He even stayed late to finish our whole transaction(his normal hours ended at 5, but he stayed there till 7 to see the whole process through.) He connected me with Stu (I think that was short for Stuart) who was on their financing team and he able to get me better financing than my personal bank. I now have the car of my dreams, with everything I wanted and its all thanks to my guys George and Stu at Rochester Toyota. I really appreciate you guys!

I inquired about a vehicle down at the Rochester Toyota dealer as I live in St. Paul. At the beginning the service was great and the sales and financing team were very helpful. I got all the information the dealership needed and approval for the loan and trade on value of my current car. The day I submitted my proof of income to the business manager, they called me after and sold the car I was very interested in. I asked about financing on 2 other RAV4’s and what that would bring the payment to with more money down. I emailed the business manager multiple times and got ZERO response over the course of 5 days. To this day still no response. I am very disappointed that this is how they conduct business. I was able to find a rav4 here in St. Paul. The customer service At walser Subaru exceeded my expectations and took care of me. I drove away a very happy customer. Over all, I would NOT recommend Rochester Toyota.

We add those to our vehicle and have been very happy with our purchase. I read great reviews about this dealership online. As I was moving out of state and needed a car urgently I had already done my background research and decided on Toyota RAV4 and Julian was great on day1 explaining the differences of the available RAV4 models as well as features during test drive. I had put down a token amount to book vehicle and planned to pick it up the day after. However the actual day of buying the vehicle was total chaos. We were made to wait for hours and the entire process was finally so rushed. Worse they could not find the second set of keys for my new vehicle and was asked to come back 2 days later to pick it up. However till I called no one even followed up to tell me the keys are not going to be available till a week later. I only hope they are able to provide me with the second set of keys next week. This has been unfortunately one of the most disappointing experience .

Ben did a wonderful job of explaining the financial aspects of the process since I was using a loan. Even when I had small issues come up both of them did everything in their power to make sure I was content and able to take the car home that day. Checked out and purchased a certified vehicle in January 2021. Salesman Kris was spot on, prompt, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond my expectations- got a hitch installed the next day by pulling some strings, saved me a 100 mile return trip down. Also got a minor scratch fixed up, and had the service manager call me regarding a mechanical concern I had after they checked it out. All this the next morning after my initial test drive, and I had not yet put any $ down, just verbal Ok after sleeping on it. Finance manager Cory talked straight and explained all options, let me make my own decision. Very impressed across the board, recommend to all who desire a great car buying experience!
We were in and out driving up from Iowa to purchase our FJ Cruiser. We were driving it home within two hours including test drive, financing and paperwork on a Saturday evening. Very nice sales staff and would purchase from there again! It was well worth the two hour drive from Iowa.
I came to look for a used car and Charlie was very helpful and showed me around. He showed me every car I wanted to look at. I didnt end up buying one, but the customer service exceeded my expectations. I will be returning for my next car.

I was very happy with our conversation and will be amending my gradeTo date my family has purchased 5 cars from Rochester Toyota. We have been very happy working with Mike each time. Service on the other hand has, at times, been lacking. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 12.30. It was almost 3pm before completed.One advisor checked me in and said another advisor would be assisting me. I mentioned and issue with a tire at check in and told the advisor I wanted to know much extra time it would take and how much it would cost. At some point the other advisor told me I needed a tire patch but did not mention any cost. I assumed since I bought The tires there that perhaps it was covered.When my car was complete, the advisor covered nothing with me that could be in need of future repair with my car and pointed me to the cashier. Needless to say I was shocked when I found out I had to pay for the tire repair without be told there would be a charge.My rating is based off my overall experience here. If I had to rate service, it would be lower.
Every single time I have had service at the Rochester Toyota there is a issue. We were going to by another Toyota for my wife from there but did not due to so many issues with the staff and marketing they send out along with the service dept. The truck is a good vehicle and have only had one issue with it but service can not seem to fix it each time it is in. I would by another Toyota but not from Rochester Motor Cars.

The customer service, fair trade business approach, and deep knowledge provided by Julian, (Sales Consultant), Chris (Sales Manager) and Cory (Finance manager) were really outstanding. The trade-in values for our used vehicles really helped us make the decision to purchase. These were the 4th and 5th vehicles weve bought from Rochester Toyota, and they know how to keep customers happy.

My wife and I recently bought a new RAV4 at Rochester Toyota from Julian Kroll. Julian determined what we were looking for and let us test drive several vehicles. He worked with us to sort through the many models and options available, and answered our many questions as well!! He was knowledgeable and very responsive. As we neared our decision, we would call, text and e-mail him. He always got back to us and answered our questions. And lastly, he spent a great deal of time with us the day we picked the car up to make sure we were familiar with it and felt comfortable to drive away. I would not hesitate to recommend Julian to anyone interested in buying a Toyota!!!

The first car which I bought had some electrical issues on the touch pad, which started two weeks after I bought the first car.I contacted the dealership and they invited me to return to the dealship. I was able to find a car in which I actually liked better.I will definitely be buying my next car through Rochester Toyota. They have earned the four star review.

Our experience was exceptional from the 1st Call I made to Sandra until the sale!! George C & Stuart were great to work with. George spent the time we needed to get our multiple questions answered. Stu was great with making sure we understood our options and finances. They both took time & patience with us as if they had nothing else to do! The follow up emails from Toyota were, also, appreciated! We give an A- Only because when we picked up our new vehicle it hadnt been washed! I guess we were spoiled by our previous dealer..Our car never left his lot without it being washed. His response: If your car has my name on it I want it to look good on the road! Highly recommended!! This has been my second Toyota Camry purchase from them and will definitely be back when the time comes to upgrade in the future. The brand is known for reliability and the reputation speaks for itself. The dealership was very helpful, they arent based on commission so I never once felt pressured. Kristopher Nguyen, our salesman was excellent to work with, friendly personality and very knowledgeable!!
