A few weeks ago I let Boardwalk know I was in the market for a new to me F150 with as many bells and whistles I could get my hands on. Being this would be the second vehicle I have purchased from them in the past 3 years, I knew I was in good hands. Boardwalk was able to secure a clean 2013 F150 Limited from the southern states. Upon arrival there were a couple of minor blemishes (unbeknownst to Boardwalk) that they insisted on fixing before letting me take the vehicle. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase and I look forward to working with Boardwalk again!

My new truck (under a few thousand miles) had issues. That company didnt fix it for months, leaving me without a truck, so I had to lease another one. I still had to make those payments on the non-working truck, no compensation, just the debt. I was supposed to be able to buy out those trucks at the end of the lease--but that price became inflated and not what we agreed on. I wont do business with that company again.I went back to purchasing trucks upfront, and only from Boardwalk Auto. Brian finds me the trucks I need so that I may continue on with my wildlife studies and photography.Brian and Forrest sell me reliable trucks. My daughter and I had been searching for a car that was something she liked and something I wanted as far as reliability and safety. We had looked for 2 weeks in 3 states and had realized fast that people were dishonest or omitted things that we needed to know, but didnt. We had just started our day in Rochester and Boardwalk Auto was the first dealership we stopped at. We expected them to be like all the rest, boy were we wrong!! After about 20 minutes we knew we wanted to buy a car from them. They went above and beyond to help us understand all of the information, showing us paperwork so we could make an informed decision. My daughter fell in love with a Chevy Cruze and soon we were filling out paperwork for a loan. After waiting for a few days they called and told us she was approved. My son found a car for sale on the web from Boardwalk Auto. Being female and by myself I was unsure how this would go for me.Happily, I was met by Forrest first of all, who is the kindest and nicest young man that I have met in a long while! He is very knowledgeable, and it shows. I was handed the keys to test drive without question. When I got back, I also met Brian. He, too, was so nice and friendly. Never once did either one of them treat me with anything other than respect. Needless to say​, we closed the deal and I drove away as a very happy and satisfied customer!! Forrest even extra-detailed the car while I was signing the papers. Great job, guys-my son was happy with it as well!

Very friendly people. They were very concerned with my needs for finding the right vehicle. They even took a trade in and they were very cooperative with us having the old vehicle towed to them. Forrest knows a lot about the business and the vehicles in the lot and is willing to go the extra mile. I left there feeling like I have known them for years. My husband was very attached to the broken down vehicle and when he left Boardwalk he very pleased with everything.

Brian was pleasant and friendly but my circumstances wouldnt allow me to get a car there at the moment. I would and will go back when my circumstances change from restarting to established.Anyone looking for an honest helpful car sales place should definitely go check them out.

I cant speak highly enough about Boardwalk Auto - Brian and Forrest are fantastic and gave me a great price!! After buying a 2003 Honda Pilot with high miles, a check engine light and transmission light came on. Brian paid to have the problem diagnosed, and when the mechanic couldnt get to my repair in a reasonable time, I decided to do the repair work myself. Brian bought the parts and gave me some money for the time I spent fixing it!! Brian and Forrest went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and truly seem to want the best for all their customers. The guys at Boardwalk Auto have earned my trust.

Brian has been great to work with me, very flexible. I had been emailing back and forth with him about a van. I specifically told him that if it sold before I got the money I would be ok with that. Well, it sold. However, my experience with him has made me very interested in looking for something else on his lot when the money comes.After reading the reviews, I can tell he really prides himself in making the customer happy. And also offers clarity on those reviews that arent as good.Even if I dont find something else on his lot this time, I definitely look forward to working with Brian in the future.A little update: although Brian didnt stand to profit off of it, he helped me decide on a van at another dealership. His efforts to find the right van for me was above and beyond. I cant speak highly enough of him.I will be looking for a second vehicle very soon and intend to do business with him.Update after a year:I bought a car from Brian just to drive back and forth to work. Ive put almost 20k miles on that car have have only money I have had to put into it has been gas, tires and some general maintenance (plugs and oil changes). This car has surpassed my expectations by far.I would highly recommend at least talking to him. I am confident he will be able to help you find what you are looking for.

My boyfriend and I were a customer at Boardwalk Auto Sales, which is located in Rochester, MN. Our experience there was very negative. We drove 1 hour and a half last Monday to check out the 1999 Chevy Suburban. During our test drive, we felt like there is something wrong with the vehicle so we told the sales person (Bryan) about it. The other dealer went to check out the Suburban to find out what is wrong with it then later told us it has something to do with the spark plugs and it needs to be replaced. According to Bryan, if we take it home and replaced it along with the rotator cap and the problem persist, we will get the money back. We give the money to them and drove home, and my boyfriend spend more than a hundred dollars in replacing for the tune up. Upon test driving it, he still feels theres something wrong within so we decided to return the vehicle today so we can get the money back. Unfortunately, it didnt turn out that way. Bryan test drove it and told us there is nothing wrong with it, but according to my boyfriend it still sputters a bit and he doesnt feel safe driving the vehicle with me and the kids in it. They made a deal with us and yet he broke his promise. What unprofessional he is. Basically, Bryan is saying we dont want the vehicle back and the money is ours. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!DONT EVER EVERY BUY A VEHICLE FROM BOARDWALK AUTO SALES...PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO OTHER CAR DEALERSHIP!

Great customer service and they fixed a couple issues i noticed after I had the vehicle for a few days,free of charge. I will definitely have them at the top of my list next time i need a vehicle.

I bought a car from this dealership less than two months ago and it has already broken down on me..... I called and called to try an reason with them over this situation when it seems like nothing about it is getting done. This car is over 10 years old and I bought it at 2,500 dollars the one thing they claim to want to help with is the parts which will only cost them $100 dollars for which still leaves me to pay $3000 to get it fixed....in this receipt for the vehicle it states in Forrests handwriting they will help with parts and labor but I guess not? So here I am less than two months later without a vehicle and Im a single mother of two children who works crazy hours but cant get to work what to do now? I feel very upset about this because I feel like Ive been taken for granted and now Im out 2,500 that I didnt have to begin with..this is so not good for business

Recently bought a grand prix from Boardwalk from Forest and Brian. After a week of having it, I took it in to get an oil change, and was told a couple minor things should be fixed and the estimate was around 200 dollars. I told that to boardwalk when I went to pick up my plates from them, and after being asked how is the car running, I told them what I was told from the shop. They were wondering if I could leave it with them to have their mechanic take a look at it. To my surprise, an hour later, I had a new valve cover gasket and coil pack installed, with NO CHARGE from the guys at Boardwalk!!! Amazing place! I will send everyone to you guys!

Avoid this business, they sold me a car and did not properly disclose its problems. When I went to them to work something out to remedy the situation they were unwilling to work with me and made me very uncomfortable. I REPEAT Avoid these Guys.
