Genuinely excellent folks who do a great job. They kept me updated about my repair and very obviously made an effort with my clunker of a car(which I can now actually drive, thanks to them).They very quickly earned a regular :)

This shop was a blessing for me to find. I had just moved to the area a while ago and had to find a new shop for my car. The guys here are so friendly, honest, and easy to talk to as far as telling them exactly what you need, and them explaining to you what is going on with your car. They dont try to up sell you. Once they start knowing your car and your driving habbits/history, they pretty much can tell you what you are going to need (and even not need) for future maintenance. Even when they found out I was getting a new (used) car (my 14 y.o car finally kicked the bucket), they offered right away to have me bring in the car to have them look at it before I officially purchased it to make sure I was getting a good car. This is definitely your great neighborhood car shops to go to!

The mechanic Ive gone to for years recently retired so I took my car to Scottys for some repairs. The staff really went above and beyond! They were able to get my car in on short notice after describing what seemed to be off about it and lucky they did-- my brake pads were pretty well worn down. They showed me a new brake pad vs the (alarmingly) puny remains of my own... it was pretty bad honestly and the fact that they were able to get my car in on short notice was great. I will definately go back.

I love this mechanic shop! They do good work. They are respectful, honest, patient, and kind. The staff is all so friendly and knowledgeable. I grew up fixing cars with my dad and know the basics. As a woman, I really appreciate that they talk to me with respect about my car. Every time extra work has been needed, they have been very upfront with the costs and required parts.LOVE THIS MECHANIC SHOP!

Excellent service. They left me so satisfied with something as simple as an inspection that I went back and got my oil changed there the next day. I was able to call ahead for both and they were as swift as could be. Definitely going back for future service, and recommending to everyone who is looking for vehicle maintenance. Joe even knew the names of the people coming in for service to their vehicles just by seeing them, which shows that I am not the only one impressed with the quality of service, as others keep returning as well.

Beware of Scottys Automotive . They failed to mention that bringing ones own part would cost an extra $100.00. I was charged $200 labor to simply install a blower motor. A 40 minute job. Shady and dishonest.

I recently moved to the area, and so needed a new mechanic. The guys here are great and super friendly. I had a problem with my car recently and did not realize the extended warranty did not allow repairs by mechanics outside of the dealership. The mechanic, thankfully, checked my paperwork for me before any work was done. saved me hundreds of dollars and time! Reasonable pricing overall and great clarity in the work thats done.

Had an issue with my car, went to get it fixed and they said that I told them to not diagnose the issue but to simply install a part. Wasted my time and money wont return

Wow, This place is exactly what I am looking for in a service facility. Accommodate you, fair prices, honest, accessable and most of all patient. They gave me a free fluid check, a quick oil change at a great price (synthetic oil too!) and for me in on a tight schedule! What more could you ask for! Oh yeah, and there are tons of things to do next door if you have to wait!

Would have liked to see them honor the original quote.

Scottys Automotive works on three of my cars as well as one of my friends. Weve had nothing but great results and the turn around time is very reasonable. They lied to me. I was told verbatim, your strut is hanging by the rubber about to break and pop your tire. Thats interesting because two other shops said it was fine AND Ive been driving the car for two years now with no issues... Huh thats weird... Dont trust these guys, better to go outside the city.

The owner of this business is a 12 year Marine Veteran - and on 12/18, the evening crew worked quickly to repair my Brake lines, which had blown. By his crew working to fit me in, I was able to make it down for my Drill weekend. I will definitely be going back, not just for their prompt service, but because of helping a fellow service member out. Thanks to Scottys for getting this Marine back on the road!!
