The workers were helpful, accommodating, and extremely flexible with me. I came in twice for one of my tires and they went out of their way to help me out when I didnt have an appointment. I really appreciated their help!

I usually take my car to the dealership for maintenance but being my first time in mavis I feel confident in leaving my car at mavis next time.

When Monro sent us away without replacing our tire or even returning our wheel to us, Mavis waited patiently for us to retrieve our wheel and then had us ready to go in less than 30 minutes. They could have told us to leave the car overnight because they were closing soon, but they didnt. All this without us being a regular customer or even having an appointment. Thank you Mavis!!

I had made an appointment for 9 am to get two tires replaced, but when I got there I was told that they are running an hour and a half behind. When I looked around a few employees were standing in a group just talking while two were actually working on cars. I was told I could come back later instead of waiting but I was already put off by having to wait when I made an appointment early in the morning when there shouldnt have been that long of a wait. What cemented my decision to never do business with them again was as I was leaving there was a delivery truck parked behind my car and had very little room to back out that I went up on the curb and couldnt get my car off it, they all just sat there and stared without coming to see if I needed help or anything. They were pointing and talking but not one person came up to help. I think they are very unprofessional and will recommend to everyone I know that this shop should never be given business.

Stopped in to ask about getting an NYS inspection done. Was told we dont have an inspection machine by the guy at the front desk. Despite the large, bright yellow Official NYS Inspection Site sign out front. No cars in the bay on a Friday afternoon, employees standing around listening to music. Lazy employees. Dont waste your time.A friend was in here last month for 2 tires, and specifically told them he had specialty tire pressure sensors and wanted them back on the same spots. They were flipped into opposite sides. So I was already somewhat hesitant to come here, anyway.Went up the road to the Howard Street Garage, and not only got friendlier service, they still got me in for the inspection despite the fact they were clearly very busy and could have told me to go away like this place did.

Went for just an oil change. When i drove toward the street and tried to stop my peddle went to the floor and i went out there with it. I came back and told them, i came with break sitting up high. Now the break light is on and so it the oil light. They say the break line just broke. I know when something leaks it start a little not a whole bowl full that was on the floor. It wasn t even dripping, they wanted to charge me $450.00. I drove home the back way.

This mavis is truly awful. My friend came in for her car, we waited 2 hours just for them to say they couldn’t do it till tomorrow. We came back and paid $700 for them completely mess up. While we were driving, her car completely stopped almost causing an accident. Very nice people however their work almost caused an accident.

I decided to stop by Mavis without an appointment because my tire censor light would not go off even after adding air and my exhaust was extremely loud and I wasnt sure why. The shop was very busy on this day but the manager of the location still took the time to get me in there to help. The tech that was assisting me was Vinny and not only did he take the time to explain everything to me, he also took the time to show me (seeing I am a woman that knows nothing about cars). The parts werent going to be available for a week and I would have to come back up there- but it didnt bother me because THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT VINNY GAVE ME WAS THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I came up the following weekend and Vinny changed my whole exhaust system in record time and even the price was costly. Me coming from a Human Resource background I was really impressed with Vinny and now I want to work along-side him as a volunteer there just to learn about cars because of him lol. Mavis- this employee is a keeper and I will be coming to him for all my car needs moving forward. Vinny not only made me feel valued as a customer but he made me feel like family. I hope that all of you guys enjoyed the sheet pizza!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Vinny :) Give this kid a raise- he deserves it!!!

Give Larry a promotion. The air pump at the store wasnt working and I needed air in all 4 of my tires. Larry could have let me pay for air across the street at the gas station but instead he let stopped his work just to let me use his equipment. So I called ahead and spoke to the guy that answered the phone. I needed 4 tires and the balance and alignment. He said he would be able to accommodate me at 8am. It is now 25 minutes later than that and they just pulled in my car. The man DID NOT WEAR A MASK AND HASNT WORN ONE SINCE I GOT HERE. Now the site said the staff wears masks. And the man said an alignment was not on the book for me. So I’ll cut this short come by and buy the tires and take them somewhere else to have them mounted and all smh

Shout out to Larrys! Just stopped in to Mavis and asked for a weird a request. I work for a landscaping company and our mower tire went flat. After driving around for multiple air pumps at gas stations & wasting 45 minutes of our day, we stopped at a stop light in front and i yelled out the widow & asked if we could back the mower in for some air. Thats when Larry said absolutely & got us back on schedule. So it wasnt a car repair but it was a huge help and he never even gave it a second thought. Great guy. Thanks to him & hope he gets a raise. Guy deserves it.

The two guys at the store last night were amazing. My tire was going down fast after work and it was close to closing time. I called I was close by and they said they would wait for me when I called. Larry and his protégé deserve raises. They had my tire fixed in mins. They are fantastic employees.

Joey and his team at Mavis on Spencerport Road are AMAZING! I cant say enough good things about them! This last time Joey went above and beyond when he stayed a little late so that I could get my car over to him for a re-torque of my tires from work they did the day before. Had a 10 o’clock appointment I left 1130 and never even looked at my car yet nobody speaks English I think I was in Puerto Rico that’s not a very clean place either they need their upper management to come check this place out it’s really terrible They need Undercover boss in there I spend more time outside smoking and working with very loud music Puerto Rican style it’s really really bad place

Tried these guys out for and oil change and tire rotation. Nice guys and great customer service. Also asked for an alignment. They checked it and said it was fine and didnt need to be done instead of charging me 90 bucks for something I didnt need.

My car was making a grinding noise and I took it to Mavis bc thats where I get my oil done. I talked to Steve the district manager there and he not only showed me why it was making the noise he fixed the car and even helped me finance some of it. So Ive recently changed my tires here.I first scheduled an appointment two days prior. I arrived at 10:00am on the dot. Checked in and the assistant manager told be itd be one to an hour and a half. So thats what i expected. Sat and waited, not a problem. An hour in, my car still hasnt been in their garage.I notice a customer coming in also for service, it didnt seem as if they had an appointment. So 12:00pm rolls around, my car has still not been in the garage, and then i noticed that the customer who came an after hour me, has their car in the garage but not mine. On top of that 2 hours Ive been waiting patiently.I then decided to talk to one of the workers, and ask for my own understanding, because i was shocked and confused. So I did, she then talked to the assistant manager and then my car was swapped with the other.At that moment, i was shocked by the way the service works there. I honestly, at that moment, wanted to request for my keys and just leave, but I realized that with my busy work schedule that i may not have another chance, I already took 8 hours of work off just to get this done. So itd have to do. So about 1-1:30 my car was done. I had to wait 3 about hours. Im sure if i did not say anything Id be there even longer.All in all i will never go to this company again, what ever discounts they offer, its not worth the service i had to endure. I set up an appointment, had myself prepared, came on time.All for what?I usually do not write reviews but this place left a terrible taste.

I frequent the one in Chili, prices are very reasonable and they get your vehicle in and out quickly. The staff and the quality of work keeps me coming back. I definitely recommend them to all my friends.

Love them. Was quoted 125 for a front end alignment from another place and Mac is did it for 80 and my 2 front tires was quoted almost 200 Mavis did each tire for 54 bucks. You guys are the best.

I called and got prices for tires and scheduled my appointment for friday at 8am. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and they got my car in, but as I sat down in one of the waiting room chairs, they told me the waiting room is closed until further notice, and told me to go wait in the Walgreens next door. They told me it would take up to an hour. After 2 and a half hours of sitting in Walgreens, they called me that my car was done. I walked back over and paid and picked up my car. On the way home I started to feel my front wheels shake. When I got home I looked and they had 14 quarter OZ wheel weights stacked on top of eachother 4 high with double sided tape that was dangling from my rim after driving only a half of a mile down the road. I brought it back to have them rrebalance. Once again, I waited in the walgreens for another 2 hours. After that time I walked over to Mavis to see if it was done. To my surprise my car was done, sitting in the front parking lot for over an hour, and they didnt bother to call me. I knocked on the window to get my keys because their front door was locked due to the waiting room being closed, and without saying a word, the employee cracked the door, put the keys in my hand, and closed the door. I was 2 hours late for work because I waited a total of 6 hours in a Walgreens pharmacy for my 1 hour tire installation. This was by far the worst mechanic experience Ive ever had. 0/10 do not recommend.

Horrible customer service, equipment breakdown issues, tire installers standing around doing nothing. I made an appointment five days ago. I took in my car for new tires, waited a half hour, and my car was not even taken into the shop yet. The advisors only came up with excuses. I will never take my car to Mavis at the Spencerport rd. location again. I guess the saying is true.....you get what you pay for.

A good friend of mine came in due to a flat tire on a tire that was recently installed 2 weeks prior. She was informed that it had a rim leak. Which means that it was not installed correctly and caused her to have to leave work and have her vehicle towed to this location. They completed the repair but did not call when completed as promised and admitted to forgetting to call. When asked what they thought about the road noise that was happening. They said it was the rear tires that had not been replaced yet having broken belts, so she had them replace those. She was quoted $135 per tire and asked if that included all labor and parts. The answer was yes. No when calling to pick up she was informed that she had to pay for mounting and balancing. This place is a joke and you should save your time and energy and go to a place you know and trust. They may say they are the cheapest tire guaranteed but t you most certainly get what you pay for!

I was referred here because I was having trouble with my low beams not working. I was scared because it was dark in the beginning of winter, and I couldnt figure out how to access the fuse box. The manager Jen was wonderful and helped me get my low beams working. Thank you so much. I will definitely recommend this place.

I had to wait a bit longer than I was told, but for the money I saved on a server of 4 tires...it was so worth it. About $300 less than a few other places I called, and their tires are A rated tires w 50,000 mile warranty. Id definitely go there again and recommend it.

I had a great experience filling my tires up with air one day where an employee did it for me. So I thought Id give them a chance for a four wheel alignment on my vehicle. I made a 9 oclock appointment and confirmed they were going to start the work at 9 oclock. At 12 oclock I called to check in on the progress of my vehicle and they hadnt even started working yet. Youre losing my business forever.

Had a slow leak flat when I came out of work. Pumped it up and stopped by to get it fixed. Turns out it was in the sidewall. They did not have my tire in stock but patched me up enough to get 4 miles home. Thank you to the staff for staying past closing time to help me out. My new tire will be here today :-)

Before I had bought in for new tires for my vehicle I was undecided on two sets of tires the lady had ordered both tires so I can see the difference in person. I had picked up the scent that I wanted after checking them out the mechanic and took a little longer than usual to mount balance and get the alignment done on my vehicle so the lady had knocked some money off of the price of the tires I am very satisfied with my service and my tires
