My husband, Kevin, came home from a visit to Bryce Marine and was so pleased with the customer service he received I wanted to write a quick message. My husband said Mike and the team at Bryce were very helpful with the engine service he needed done and went out of their way to meet his needs. Highly recommended by the Bishops !
Went in during a time that finding a boat could prove to be challenging. As we are looking in walks Mike who starts to engage in a conversation with us. He patiently answers all our questions and researches anything he wasnt certain about to make sure we have the correct answer. We ended up buying a new boat, and couldnt be happier. Mike took great care, explained everything, and my wife and I couldnt be happier with our experience at Bryce! The after sale support has also been just as good, 5 Stars for sure!
The personnel at this business were extremely professional and helpful to me in processing my application for a boat trailer registration in Pennsylvania. They provided important information regarding a trailer they sold in 2017, which I bought from the original owner this year. I give this business my highest rating. They went out of their way to help me, when helping me made no money for them. They made something money cannot buy.....a great reputation for helping customers.
This place is great. The people who work here are very helpful. Went through everything on my boat when we bought it. They had lots of boats in the show room. And can order anything you want. Great experience!!
Called in the morning 6/2/21 and asked about an oil change. The woman on the phone said to bring it in and that they were catching up and would only be about a week. Great! I hook up the boat bring it there. Mind you I was there for a winterization in fall The lady at the desk had to ask someone in the back about the boat and size of the motor. She comes back and says they are not set up to do them this time of year and would be very expensive. Seriously?? But 3 hours earlier they were? Seasonal oil changes? What a complete farce. Every time I go there, there is an excuse or a problem. Needless to say I won’t go back ever again.
Amazing customer service. Even though we showed up near closing time, Mike made sure to answer every single one of our questions, showed us multiple models, made us feel at home, and worked with us to configure the perfect boat. We ended up being there much past closing. Great people and customer service are sometimes hard to fine. Not here at Bryce Marine.
Worst customer service ever. called to get a quote on parts for a FIRE BOAT with a mercury outboard. All I needed was a quote on engine and lower end fluid and a couple of gaskets but instead of helping me out I got told their not interested and that they are to busy to look it up and give me a quote. They also told me if I was a walk in customer they would help me then but since I need a quote its a inconvenience to them. Ive never got told I cant do that from a business. I will not be going there anymore for work or my personal boat since they are to busy to help out their customers especially emergency personnel!!!
I stopped in to the store to get some basic information about selling a fishing boat for my Father-in-Law. I know nothing about boats. Mike Kiefer took the time to sit down with me and review the boat information and helped me to develop a price to sell it on my own. A real gentleman. I would highly recommend Bryce Marine. Thank you Mike.
Ive had a horrible experience with Bryce Marine. My Husband and I ordered a Boat early March with a 8 to 10 week estimate on receiving the boat, we were told most boats were coming in around the 9 week mark. We are sitting here 14 weeks later and still no boat. The production has been pushed out yet again another week so we are not looking at receiving our boat until at least 16/17 week mark. We have had nothing but patience through this process because we understand there is a pandemic but enough is enough. Bryce Marine will not do anything for the over promise and under deliverance of their services and have been nothing but rude when we call. Every phone conversation has been them putting 100% blame on Sun tracker and no accountability on Bryce Marines end. This is where a company should be stepping up and making up for the inconvenience, but again nothing but attitude.
In September/October of 2020 I called Bryce Marine for some preliminary information about my trade in and purchasing a new boat. Due to COVID and manufacturing issues it became clear that I needed to purchase much sooner than I planned. Nervous about this new timeline, Mike has been great to deal with. He worked with me throughout the process and continues to do so. I stopped in just to drop off paperwork, Mike wasnt there but Dave took the time to answer all of my questions, we ended up talking for almost 2 hours! Incredible customer service and knowledge. Im confident that this level of care will continue as I move from the sales team to the service team, throughout my ownership.
I do not generally write reviews, but I felt like I needed to for this one. I had work done on my Seadoo at the end of the season last year. I immediately had it stored after picking it up and being told by them it was all fixed and in good condition. When I went to launch it for the first time since it was fixed it would not start. The display would turn on but said it was limp mode. The obvious thing to do was to call Bryce as they were the ones who last touched the engine (they replaced the IBR). I discussed with them what was happening and I was told to bring it in so they could make sure it was not the IBR.I dropped it off and within 45 minutes of dropping it off they called me and said all that was wrong was a dead battery. They said said it was going to be about $280 for this. As you could imagine I was very shocked as anyone can change a battery and they are not that expensive. I questioned the gentleman about the price and he laughed. He said they charge a one hour service fee no matter what. Keep in mind the only reason I went there was because they touched it last and I wanted to make sure it was not an issue with what they did. I said I have never heard of a service fee like this and they should have verbally told me this. I know they make you sign a form when you get there but honestly I have no idea what it even says. What they do not realize is my family owns a very respected marina on a Lake to far to drive too and we have been in business for over 35 years and do not charge such fees as that. Nor is our regular fee $110 an hour! That is just crazy. I would be hesitant about being a female and going alone to this business as they will speak down to you. I had my boyfriend pick up the jetski as I felt they would treat him with more respect. He said it was a terrible experience and the new owner was rude. Any other marina (who are actually on the water) would hands down check a battery first free of charge to see if that was an issue. We refused the battery they put in without asking (also this battery they were charging $160 for which if you did not know you can get at Lowes or anywhere else for significantly cheaper). When we got the bill for the $110 for them to only show the battery needed to be replaced it states the watercraft was pond tested. To me this means they actually took it off the trailer and tested it. Keep in mind it was 45 minuets from when I walked out of the building to when they called me. The straps and everything were exactly as I left them. So there is no way this was tested in any body of water.Long story short, please be careful and do your research before doing business with them. I would get quotes from other places. I would have done the battery myself but again only went there because they told me they wanted to run it on the computer before I did anything else. We will be doing our business with Sutters from here on out.
I had a recall on my new suntracker fb with a 150 on it that was a safety recall. They drove 45 minutes to my cottage to replace it. Great customer service.
The best way to judge a business is not by how well they treat you when things go well, but the way they treat you when things do not. I purchased a 2000 Stingray from Bryce Marine early this year. Unfortunately, there were a few mechanical issues that were impossible to predict by any of us. Dave, Craig, Mike and everyone else did everything they could to correct the situation until the issue was resolved. I was very impressed and pleased with the treatment I received.
We had an oil leak [one of our outdrives] dropped off monday/wednesday job was completed!!! Thats a [turnaround]!!!Thank You Bryce Marina!!!⚓
I was hesitant to leave a comment but after reading the other reviews which were similar to my experience I decided to share. We showed up at Bryce Marine to see bass and pro guide boats and when we got there (my father-in-law and I) I spoke to a lady behind the counter to ask if we could speak with a salesperson as I was interested in some models which I named. She said she would have someone come out in the showroom shortly. There was another couple already there who had a Salesperson working with them just after we arrived and I did ask the salesperson a quick question to see if I could get in one of the boats to take a closer look which he did say yes but didnt ask if we were being helped and eventually left outside with the other couple. About thirty minutes passed with no one else coming to check on us, so we decided to leave. When we left I told her to thank you but we were not assisted at all. She did apologize and mentioned she would call someone but at that point, I did not feel comfortable staying. It is a shame too because this is a very nice business, great showroom, and set up nicely; but I would have to agree with the customer service here is not great at all apart from the lady. This was going to be our first boat but I would rather travel out further than go back.
Nothing but a wonderful experience from beginning to end with Bryce. They really do take care of you so well. Mikhail was so helpful and knowledgeable in getting me on a new 2020 RXT-X 300. Not to mention their prices are super fair unlike some other Western New York dealers...Will be sending all my friends interested in new skis to Bryce Marine!
Very helpful
I just called to ask about a small part for a Mercury outboard. The guy that I was transferred to, maybe Craig, not sure, was extremely rude and could have cared less to try to help. I was giving him more info on the needed part and he cut me off and said “ I can’t help you right now, thanks for calling and hung up” Absolutely unprofessional and rude. Good thing the landscape around Rochester and the Finger lakes is surrounded by water so I can take by business to the many other Marinas around. I won’t be back. To bad I had to give him 1 Star.
Great prices and amazing service.
I have had my ski service by Bryce since I purchased it from a private seller. I had some concerns on my most recent service and the lady up front took the time not only to listen but also address my concerns. She was really professional, polite and helpful. It wasnt Sue but the other lady there and because of her Bryce will continue to have my business. I felt very valued during our interaction and most importantly walked away a happy/satisfied customer.
Great people. I was able to meet the owner great down to earth guy. Sales manager was quick with all my questions. Really great experience.
Called Bryce Marine interested in a boat trailer yesterday. The woman was super friendly and told me that would get back to me tomorrow to finalize things. I received a call back exactly when promised and they even agreed to hoist the boat onto the new trailer to make sure that it’s setup correctly. Took a deposit over the phone and will pick it up when the weather improves.I will update the review after picking up the trailer. I’m very happy with the experience so far.
Absolute worst experience here Monday. Came in the front door, asked the girl if the trailer parts were still in the back and she said sure go right back. I got back to be... well I cant say greeted by the older man because the first words out of his mouth were, What do you want?! I was kind of taken a back and I said, Im sorry? Again he came back with, What do you want??!. I told him I was with a business down the road and mentioned the name. Second words he said to me, Well, Ive NEVER heard of ya... by this time with a fellow local business - I said Ive been around for more than 40 years, Ive done business with you before and I think Im done here with you. He said absolutely NOTHING and no apology. I walked out. Went back up front after that and told the kid up front who, after I explained everything that just happened said to me, Yeah, we have a lot of rude people here. No apology, NOTHING again. So, when I close my business down to go to another fellow local business - I NEVER expect anyone, myself or a regular customer, to be treated that way. I think Ill be ordering my parts elsewhere from now on. The reviews here clued me into a big problem for Bryce. I really hope the GM and owner take notice. Not to mention the part I DID end up getting, after ALL of that - was WRONG. The part number was given and I really think your trailer parts guy did it on purpose. So, I lost over an hour to Bryce with my own local business to be treated like that? Never again.
Dave was awesome! I had been looking for a Wellcraft 182 Fisherman and he had one. It was perfect, he gave me a great deal and was very fair with the trade in value. Every promise was kept and I could not be happier. I would strongly recommend Bryce Marine. I’ll be a customer for life!
With all the people who claim to be able to fix marine engines, these guys are extremely thorough, and have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. Dan has gone out of his way to call and explain the small details before any additional work was performed. Feels great to head out on the water and know that professionals have been through the boat. I have and will recommend Bryce to any and all who need great service. I look forward to working with them again soon. Happy Holidays to the team at BRYCE MARINE.
I bought a 2016 Rxt300 jet ski they were very helpful and courteous answers all my questions and they were very respectful for people that complain remember for every action there is a reaction if you give respect you will get it I look forward to doing business with them again thanks Bryce the sales staff were all great they treat you like family thaks
Just called to ask about winterization process and this women was rude and told me to look on the internet. I told her they did it last year and put me on hold for a mechanic who never answered. I just spent $864 on A gauge cluster this this week and ithit after receiving it back. Wanted to figure out if they add fuel conditioner or notMy son has been begging me to go elsewhere because Bryce people are arrogant, over charge for their services and are rude and unhelpful from their older employees. I now agree.
Brought my SeaDoo jet skis in to get new key fobs. Even though they were super busy, they got me in, new key fobs programmed and on my way super fast. Thanks!
No inventory lol
Great experience. Thanks Dave and staff for a pain free buying experience. We really like our PWC, took it out on Lake Ontario via Bald Eagle Marina and had a blast. Your staff was so friendly and their knowledge was excellent.
Just brought my 2017 seadoo jet ski In for service because it was not shifting and it was running rough. Casey in the service department is the man. Ski was diagnosed, repaired, water tested and back on the trailer in a hour. They also changed my spark plugs and topped off my coolant for zero charge!!!! Hats off to Bryce marine.
I went to Bryce to take delivery of a small boat, motor, and trailer that a friend won in a contest. The receptionist helped me with paperwork and was very nice. I also spoke briefly with Dave and Greg who were both pleasant. Mechanic Roger walked me through the operation of the motor and answered my newbie questions nicely. Bryce Marine treated me really well.
As consistent with other reviews, the customer service in there service department is awful. They will not hesitate to argue with you, yell at you, or change the price on you. When your told something different from two different employees and then explain the situation, both employees end up yelling at you? I will take my business elsewhere. They are scam artist, beware!
Took our boat to get ready for the summer last year. Not sure the guys name but was extremely rude. My wife had to ask the guy if we had done something to offend him. Decided to take our boat elsewhere this year. I suggest you do the same.
Purchased a brand new Sea-Doo from here the experience was great and so was the price! They beat everyone else around and I always shop around. In addition to the fantastic experience I had purchasing from them, there service is just as good! Thank you Bryce Marine youve made a life long customer out of me! Feels good knowing the dealership will stand behind the products they sell.
Called regarding service about an outboard motor. The representative was rude and not helpful. Told him I needed an impeller and asked if he had a part number, and was told to look it up on the internet, the same as we have to do I was also told they wont provide a part number over the phone because everyone goes online to buy them anyway, so we wont do that. Not sure what his deal was or if he was having a bad day, but I wont be bringing my outboard to them for service, sounds like they dont need/want the business.
Always upfront and honest on cost before entry and helpful staff making visits afterwards easy. Bought two jet skis a couple years ago and continue to use for any issues and or maintenance I cannot do myself.
You get what you pay for here . I think the people do the job right and they are congenial, but all business. I want my boat fixed right and I am not looking for a pen pal but a good mechanic, That is what I get, I have once compared their price to another Mercury dealer and found they were right in line and are able to fix just about everything on my boat and I did not even buy it there. If you want it done right then dont shop around, go there I also like the fenced in area they keep the boat in when it is not in the garage.
Robert and I just wanted to thank you and the team at Bryce Marine for helping us out with our latest Sea Doo issue! We knew when looking for our 2nd jet ski that we would only purchase from you guys.Gator went above and beyond to help us and your service department did as well when removing the stick after our first launch. We will never go anywhere else! Thank you, we know that you did not have to do that but promise that gesture went a long way and was very appreciated. Your guys’ customer service is top notch and we look forward to doing business in the future with Bryce Marine.Best Regards,~ Jodi and Robert Deming ~
Bryce Marine is the place to go for watercrafts, friendly staff and excellent service. I have purchased 3 boats from them and it is very apparent that customer satisfaction is absolutely a priority to this company and the staff they employee. Keep up the great work! Benny...appreciate all that you do for me. One love.
I had a service rep named Mikhail who to me was very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all of my questions and suggested several options for what i was looking for. Big thanks to Mikhail and Bryce Marine for their help and making this summer a blast!
Just purchased our second boat from Bryce Marine. As new boaters 2 years ago, we found our experience with Bryce to be very helpful, accommodating, and above-and-beyond our expectations, NOT ONLY with the initial purchase, but every time we went back with questions, concerns, to purchase accessories, or other assistance we needed. We found salesman Benny particularly informative and helpful and very knowledgeable, and always ready to offer his experience and advise. Needless-to-say, we asked for him specifically when we were ready to trade-in and upgrade to our new Four Winns boat. We highly recommend Bryce Marine and Benny. Rest assured - You wont be disappointed!
These people have got to be the most unprofessional, rude and disrespectful business I have ever been to. I called to get part number for my jet ski that I bought there several years ago and search for best price and I was told “no ! I’m not going to give it to you. You can come here and buy the part from us”. I was shocked about the attitude and rudeness of this person. I went in to speak to the manager or owner and the guy could care less said he’s been in business for 30 years. Well he lost sale on the parts and the 35000 pontoon boat I was looking at last week. What a disgraceful business.
Great place for a variety of boats and other water crafts.. The staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions. Great for the lifelong boater or the newbies. Very competitive pricingn the sales people are great you can get into a boat at any type of budget. The salesman I worked with cBenny has been working with him for over 35 years!. I highly recommend this Marina..
Purchased a trailer for my pontoon boat last summer and couldnt be happier...Dave was polite, professional and a pleasure to do business with...Im from the Syracuse area and they had every local dealers price beat by hundreds....Highly recommend!!
After purchasing a new boat from out of state I needed some help with the engine. The original dealer forgot to hook up all the dash guages after I switched to a Verado engine. Rather than make the 10 hr round trip, I took the boat to Bryce. The mechanic diagnosed the issues quickly and made all the connections needed. Price was fair and service was polite. Cant ask for anything more.
My experience with Bryce Marine and my sales person, Dave Willis could not have been better. I never felt any pressure from him to buy anything, but he gave me a full understanding to their approach to reselling used boats and their no dicker price policy. The boat I got is exactly what I wanted. Its condition and operation was exactly as they represented it. And from what I can tell the price was fair.Im really happy I went with my gut and did my business with them.
Good inventory. The only place in Rochester that I could find a new PWC trailer in summer 2018.
I bought almost 600 dollars in parts from them then when I had the 300 dollar driveshaft break in less then an hour and took out a thousand dollars worth of brand new parts. I never raised my voice I never cursed I was asking where they got it from so I could call the manufacturer I was asking them for nothing. The guy yelled can you stop talking so I hung up will never go there and will tell everyone to never go there. I think this is only the second review I ever wrote because I am that mad. Sorry for the rant but people should know was my first time going there and my last.
The work they have done on my boat has been good. But if you complain about anything they didnt do right they can become very rude and obnoxious. I dont appreciate being chewed out by the general manager who attempted to address my problem then chewed me out for being upset with the problem. If I treated a customer like that at my job I would be fired. You should not be a general manager of the business with a poor attitude towards customer service when there is a complaint. But then what do you expect when the owner pointed the blame at me, the customer, when they are supposed to be the experts.
Awesome customer service!!! Thanks to them I got amazing deals that I could never pass up!! Benny was very helpful!!
They failed to repair our new boat repeatedly and as more damage was done to the engine from their mistakes they kept charging us more. Finally we took it to a different dealer who fixed it right. I would not service my boat with them.
Don’t deserve 1 star. We Went to boat show. Talked with the salesman. Asked about used boats was told they had 2012 Bayliner. Asked to see it was told can’t see it till Monday. Made a appt to go see it. Offered deposit. They said no need for that. Told them I will pay cash. They said no worrys come look at it. Took all my info and they said to us if by some chance Someone else was interested in that they would call me immediately. Then today. They call and say sorry sold boat in cash deal. Disgusting. Lousy thing to do to a customer. A real no class move. I won’t ever go there again.Ps. Thank God I did not buy from Bryce Marine! Thank God I found Smith Marine. Excellent customer service, customer comes first not the almighty dollar. Friendly knowledgeable nothing like Bryce Marine whatsoever. Purchased a boat yesterday from Buffalo got a fantastic deal got a fantastic boat from a fantastic company please read this before you buy from BryceDon.
Charged $ 50.00 to do reg paperwork?Horrible. Will never use again for anythingStay clear of these guys
Great service
Stopped to view boats. Good customer service and extremely knowledgeable and helpful salesman.
Did not have mercury part instock, and could not match canvas repair. 113 views
Honestly if I could give more stars I would. After 28 years of boating we were able to start looking for a new boat. We were very interested in the Glastron GT187. Stopping in on a whim with no real intention of purchasing we met Benny. His knowledge, honesty and willingness to answer any and all of our questions was refreshing. No pressure at all and because of that we never even left the parking lot to discuss it. We went back in and even though it was really close to closing he nor any one else made us feel rushed. When we picked our new baby up Gater had cleaned her up and went through everything with us and once again any and all of our questions including our 10 year olds were answered with a smile. Everyone at Bryce Marine knows how to treat customers well. Thank you so much!
Knowledgable staff. Willing to teach a 1st time boater
Nice Marina, good employees.
Purchased a new boat and they were very helpful, thank you!!
Outstanding deal on a trailer
Had my Mercury OB serviced. Quick turnaround and friendly staff
After spending over $10,000 for a engine repair my boat is still not correct as promised & was told sue us in court they put the wrong cam shaft bearings in the motor & it destroyed it! You people are sick.
I have been dealing with Bryce Marine for more than 35 years. They are the only ones that I trust to fix my Mercury products. They are always friendly and eager to solve my problems. Bryce Marine is always choice#1.
They had a part for my Mercury outboard motor that no other Marina in the Rochester area stocked.
Always helpful and extremely friendly
They say they will work with u on a price then get u in the store and dont do anything for u ...
Awesome Dealer, great staff.
Great place, very helpful
Do NOT trust them to winterize your boat!
The worst experience ever
Always the best
Great service
Great service!!!
Thank you
Good place to service the boat
