Love love love moon river soap!! I wouldn’t have gotten through my recent pregnancy without it! I was super itchy the whole time but the soap and blames helped ease it. I also used the Neroli balm on my belly through out and didn’t get one stretch mark, highly recommend!! Usually when the weather changes I struggle with itchiness but since switching to moon river soap I haven’t had an issue and it’s amazing!! I will always recommend and gift these products!!

The first time I tried Moon River products was this spring (2020) when I received them as a gift. The soap is wonderful!! For many years Ive experienced cracked, rough hands that have bled---especially in the winter. The soap put an end to that and my hands have never been softer---even without using hand lotion. I just visited the store for the first time and found it delightful---so beautifully decorated and with the wonderful scent of the products. The personnel were very helpful. I will be going back.

This is such a great shop. They have easy parking (metered) right next to the store. I buy our body soaps from here since they dont have all the nasty chemicals or animal fats in them. I have psoriasis and their soaps and balms really do help. Especially with this pandemic and extra hand washing, my healthcare hands really needed some moisture. Their rich lotion stick stopped the cracks and soothed my rough hands! They also offer packaging free soaps for the eco-conscious, no waste! There is always someone there to help if you have questions. Please visit this shop for your health!

Super fast delivery. I ordered 6 bar soaps (these are some of my favorite soaps) and got 1 free! Florida Orange is awesome and so is peppermint. I highly recommend Moon River. Natural and great smelling.

I bought soaps, muscle butter and some other accessories. The products were of excellent quality and I highly recommend them. The store is lovely and the owners (I guess they were the owners) are very friendly. It looks like the products are made there so if you like locally produced products I definitely recommend shopping here. I saw that they have natural dog shampoo and soap also and on my next visit I will buy the dog soap and update my review to include that product.Update: the dog soap is great.

I stumbled upon Moon River Soap Company just after they opened. I love small businesses and try to shop at them as much as possible. I also love natural products. The olive oil soap at Moon River is wonderful to use. I specifically use the Rosemary Shampoo bar. My color last longer and my hair is always soft, manageable, and shiny. I buy the shave bar for my husband and the lip balm as well. I do not live in Rochester, but when Im there I stock up or order online. The owners are such nice people and they are helpful, ready to answer any question you have.

Nice place, like that it has soap for doggies and my husband has rough, dry skin and bought him some lotion. Also I have rosacea and they have soap for that.

I love this business! The soaps are excellent, one of my favorites is Mr. Wonderful. I use the natural mosquito spray, smells good and it works. They will ship soaps which is good because I moved and still want to use the soap and spray.

I took a friend to this store for some Christmas shopping and the female owner was extremely rude. We had entered the store about 15 minutes before closing (which we didnt know at the time since it was a few days before Christmas and all the other stores were open late). We tried to wrap up the shopping and she said we have to get home too. Her response was also very rude when my friend asked if they taught classes. So much for supporting our local merchants which I like to do but I will not return to this store where customers are treated with such disrespect. Awful!I dont appreciate the reply below. Certainly no one was expecting that you stay open 24 hours a day, how ridiculous is that comment. The reply below doesnt include an apology for your rude behavior and it seems you expect your customer to know your family situation. I would never shop nor bring guests to your store again. What an embarrassment for a shop owner in Rochester. Im the person who lives in Rochester and brought the guest who asked the question about soap classes and made the hospital /24x7 comment.

My favorite spot to buy something different for babies. They have perfect gift sets. They put them in a bag with a beautiful paper flower. Keep small businesses in business. This one is worth it. If only for their cocobutter lip balm. But in reality for so much more.

I was staying at they Royal Park visiting my former home town and I popped in here one day (show your room card for a discount!)Ive used a naturalsoap for years. (From Whole Foods) Ive always respected an ingredient label free of chemicals, and this is every bit as good, maybe better. Its soft, almost silky lather, rinses clean and the fragrance is nice but not overly strong. I feel good about supporting a local business that makes a great product.Bars are sold boxed for gifts, or without for your own use. Try the foaming hand soap—they have a test sink— and you can buy refill bottles to refill your pump, to help minimize waste.

Love Moon River Soap! We love the tea tree oil soap. It works wonders for acne. I also really enjoy the apricot scrub and the Detroit grit.

Just the wonderful scent in this charming store is therapy for me. Everything in there is amazing and the best quality ingredients. The owners are such lovely people and so helpful and kind. Cant wait to go back!

Amazing products for mens skin care! I use the mr. Wonderful moisturizer and beard oil as well as the Detroit grit soap! The moisturizer is fast absorbing so you dont feel oily all day and the bread oil has made my beard softer and straighter then ever! absolutely love the Detroit grit soap I work as a fabricator and get very dirty from the oils on the metal which is dark black and has been impossible to wash off even with fast orange or any other heavy hand cleaner but the Detroit grit works better then anything I have tried and is very gentle of your skin so you dont feel like alligator hands after washing up! If the Detroit grit is to harsh on your skin they have gardeners grit that had crushed walnut shell instead of the ground coffee so it is a little more gentle and works almost as good as the Detroit grit! Guys I highly recommend checking some of their mens care out you will love it and your significant other will love it too!

I have been using Moon River Soap for about a year now when I tried a bar that was sold at Bocci Salon. I have been hooked ever since. I love the peppermint soap. I have my son, who has eczema, using their soap now as well and it is better than what our Dr. recommended.

Id like to see vegan shaver products but a great selection of all things soap overall!
