Incredible selection of bagels and cream cheese. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are really comparable but portion sizes and cream cheese portions are really huge. The flavor and textures of the bagels is better than anywhere. A dozen is actually a bakers dozen so you feel like you are getting an even better deal at the end!

If youre in Rochester and you want a bagel, skip Brueggers and go here (sorry Brueggers) because these are some of the best and most affordable bagels youll get outside of NYC (Id imagine, Ive only visited a few times). Theres a few benches outside, but this is not a dine in restaurant so be prepared to carry out.

Bagels are sooooo good, same with all of their cream cheeses. One of the best non Long Island bagel places I’ve been to. Service was amazing too, the two guys who were working when I went were really great people. Would definitely recommend!

Bagels are top notch and staff friendly. HOWEVER, today, 9/27, An employee took my money and gave me change with gloves and then started to make my bagel with the same gloves. The gloves were also quite stained and dirty. I asked her to change them and she did but she put up a little bit bit of an argument. What’s that all about? Isnt that food service 101?

One of the very few local places that is the same as its always been for many years. Hands down the best bagels in the Rochester area - the way they should be - fresh with a crispy crust and tender inside. For a special treat try the pizza bagels - the sauce is outstanding. Id say even worth a special trip. Still the same after all these years!

I love the bagels here, I literally have been eating them since it opened in 1973. The thing I dont like is the lack of organization in the front. It is often staffed with kids which I get but they are rarely quick and smooth. I often stop in just to get bagels and having to wait 10 mins to get 6 bagels sucks..

Great bagels and large selection of spreads. Their fire salt bagel has the perfect amount of spicy kick and saltiness to it. Excellent staff as well. You really cant go wrong here

You’d barely find it in the plaza but that’s because they are not big box bagels. Every time I have an early morning flight, I swing buy and grab a couple of these. They open early. The best bagels in Rochester bar none!! A bagel you can sink your teeth into, gnaw on the crust and rip apart. Amazing! Well worth the 2 hour drive to get a dozen. I recommend everything and garlic. I hope they would add the Montreal bagel which has the Montreal seasoning on it. That would be the icing on the cake. Bagel land, if youre reading this, consider my suggestion. Why try the rest when you had the best?

Envious that there are 2 good bagel shops so close to our friends home so when we were unable to go to one terrific bagel shop off we went Bagel Land in Brighton. There was a line out the door on a fairly early Sunday morning and you could smell the bagels outside of the store. They have a great display of the available bagels and it was still warm from the bagels being baked so you know the bagels are fresh. Very utilitarian with fridges in the back wall with cream cheese (great selection of flavors) and drinks. Some bagel sandwiches also but best to take out since there is nowhere to sit in the shop. Fairly good sized parking lot. Definitely better than what we have in the South.

I have been to this shop countless times. The bagels are great. Came in this Saturday morning and the guy at the register looks past me to call the white woman after me. Not crowded, I approached the counter, began to greet him, he points to the woman behind me and says, I can help YOU! Like that, all caps. Please get your staff together. I wont be back.

Brought back memories from my Seton and Mercy Days93. Prices are still the same from 93. Small bagel shop with Big Bagel Flavors. Pizza bagel devoured while driving. The handsome young man that serviced me gets an A++++ for his customer service and patience. Couldnt make up my mind too many choices. I also loved the way he handled the kids coming from school. Best bagels in town, far better than the chain store. Limited hours, but that is why the bagels are always fresh. Family owned business that really cares about the customer. Even day old popped in the microwave are great. Bagels dogs are a special treat! Will go the extra distance to get a dozen.

Best bagels in Rochester and an institution. Our family has gotten bagels from them for decades. Far superior tasting than Brueggers and WAY beyond what places like Wegmans and Panera sell.UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC.

The lady who serviced me was upbeat and serviced me well. The bagel selection was great and the many cream cheese selections as well. I got a everything bagel with veggie cream cheese on one side and chive and onion on the other. I appreciated the accommodation to have that variety. My bagel had the quality bread characteristcs. I only paid 2.50. Was delicious!

A bagel bakery like we had when I was growing up on Long Island many years ago. Just the best bagels around by far. Bakeries used to sell only baked goods, they werent restaurants. If you want a piece of round, soft bread then there are a lot of bagels you can buy. If you want a real old fashioned bagel, this is the best in Rochester or anywhere else I know.

Wide selection of perfect chewy inside, crispy outside bagels. Many specialty cream cheeses as well from a local source (tubs available for purchase). Personally my favorite bagel in Rochester.Coffee is offered but this is primarily a take out business (only seating available is outdoors behind the plaza). At popular times like weekend mornings expect there to be lines out the door (although generally moves pretty quick).

Bagel Land has been one of my favorite places since my kids were very young and in the Brighton School District. I hadnt been in awhile, but REALLY wanted to treat myself today. The service was poor. My preference in a bagel is soft, light & chewy. Upon placing my order (clearly annoying the cashier), I asked kindly that my bagel be very lightly toasted (light). The bagel prepared for me was hard, burnt and now in the garbage. I feel as though this was done intentionally.

Tried to order bagels at 2:45 p.m, they close at 3 p.m., but the two employees said they’d sell us bagels, but not toast them or make sandwiches because they were closing soon. I’m sure turning off the toaster and sweeping the sixteen square foot space takes awhile, but throw me a bone here!
