My wife and I recently went to Rochester Colonial to look at their offerings for exterior french doors. We walked in and were welcomed immediately. We met with Nick S.and explained what we were looking for. He listened to us, like actually listened and gave us a variety of options while explaining in great detail the pros and cons with certain door styles in regards to our unique installation requirements. We had been to quite a few other stores in advance and had done a little poking around online in advance. Nick was by far the most kind, patient and knowledgeable professional that we have encountered. We are still deciding on the style, however; we were so impressed that we felt like Rochester Colonial and Nick deserve a good review from the get.

He also explained the increased Energy Savings we would receive from a Full Window Installation.Bob Plumber the Installation Coordinator kept us informed as to when our materials were being ordered, and what date the installation would begin.On the morning of the installation Matt, the team Supervisor along with Tony, Justin, and Nick showed up promptly in the agreed arrival window. Matt explained the goals for the day, and he and the team surpassed all of them! They were very friendly, and covered all of our flooring, and furniture before beginning work They worked so efficiently that they completed the total Install of 15 windows within two days. All this while the weather was over 90 degrees, and extremely humid.We would Highly recommend Rochester Colonial, Nick Sirianni, and Matt, Tony, Justin, and Nick for your next remodeling job. We bought four sliding glass windows and an entry door from Rochester Colonial for an enclosed pavilion we built on our property. John came to the house several times and spent hours with us, both on site and in the show room, showing us what products were available and helping us maximize the available wall space while making sure everything looked proportional. He knows the trade and we appreciate his technical wisdom and professionalism.

Very unhappy with Rochester Colonial. We dealt with Ripley and we received our quote, but then we made a change and he told us that he would get back to us in a couple days, but never heard back from him after that. It has been over two weeks and we have wasted waiting for his response and very upset. Went elsewhere and ordered our windows. This was just poor customer service from Rochester Colonial.

Ive heard great things about this company. I called to get an estimate to have several of my old windows replaced with basic standard sized windows, nothing fancy. I was quoted $700 per opening. Crazy. Dont waste your time with their outrages prices. Shop around and youll find a contractor who will do the work for way way less.

Glass porch enclosure when Tony & Jake finished the installation I stared to cry with joy as this was the best thing that happened for me through the COVID epidemic! It was worth the wait. The quality of materials used was excellent. Mike Gionta was always supportive through initial sale to conclusion. I’m actually excited about future projects for my home. My thanks go to the entire Rochester Colonial staff whenever I called they were beyond professional and I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

Horrible customer service for a simple project that has taken over 9 months with no resolution. I am hopeful a project manager will get involved and make the situation right, but at this time I would never work with Rochester Colonial again.

Hello,I had 7 windows in my 3-season room replaced in my 3-season room on 3/19/2020. The whole process was so smooth and easy. My salesman Chris G. came to my house on 2/20/20 to explain my options and prices. I received the postcard that the windows were ready on 3/16, not even a month later.The windows were installed on 3/19. The installers were very friendly and worked consistently on the job and were finished in about 6 hours.The windows look perfect. I would definitely recommend Rochester Colonial to replace any windows in your house. I also had my kitchen window replaced 2 years ago. I had new hardware installed on my custom door from Colonial through some other outlet. What a mistake!! They not only broke the handle they left the handle only half way installed. Within a few weeks it was loose. I called back Colonial, and Steve Maxim appeared at my house.He was amazing, what an expert! He was meticulous, spent time and installed the new hardware. He fixed the door so the damage that was done prior was completely fixed. I highly recommend Colonial I love my door again, thanks so much Steve!!

Rochester Colonials Heartwood Team recently completed an entrance door project for our 1925 Tudor home. They involved us in every step of the design process and welcomed us to watch the progress as they built the door from raw lumber to finished product. They are a team of craftsmen right here in town.

Recently had Rochester Colonial remove old french doors and install new doors... they did a fantastic job on the removal and installation. No damage to exterior stucco or interior plaster! Exceeded my expectations as I thought I would surely need to have the stucco repaired - amazing! Doors came before promised date and they cleaned up very well when they were finished.

We signed the agreement in May. They came to finally install August 27th. We understood the delay. The workers are friendly and they are doing an amazing job. Very fast and we love our windows. We have been looking forward to them.However.....They did not arrive on time and did not step up the proper lead safety precautions. They already had two windows out. Our house is very old and we were ensured a lead safe installation. I called Bob the installation manager and left a voicemail about our concerns. I honestly could not remember if we paid for more for it or if we missed how it was suppose to be set up. We have anmials, a kid on the way and also ITS LEAD!! He said it was mumbled and he didnt hear what I said just something about safety. But yet he called one of the managers to drive by to make sure things were being handled properly. He reported what they should have set-up plastic, which he had reached out to them before returning my call and they were now completing. I informed him that was not was happening beforehand he replied Well, like I said I have someone driving by. Very dismissive. Not happy with this at all.

My husband and I researched many sliding glass doors to find one that could endure being on the lake and all the weather in our area. We visited showrooms in person, and are grateful for Phil Giontas and Rochester Colonials support to select the best sliding glass doors, and get them delivered to our door in less time than other window companies! Phil was so patient with us, and followed up to ensure our order for 2 Marvin Integrity sliding glass door units were completed at the manufacturer and delivered so quickly too! Rochester Colonial replace our front door and windows surrounding it today. The installers were awesome and did a great job. Something we have wanted to do for a long time and couldnt be happier with the decision to use Rochester Colonial.

We got a few estimates for our windows. It was all ludicrously expensive. Thankfully, we got one from Rochester Colonial. They were extremely competitive and cut other quotes almost in half! Working with Michael Gionta and Brandon Pierce was a pleasure. Michael went above expectations and made sure we were comfortable. What the work the crew did was astounding. I thought they would be here for a couple days, but they did all the windows and screen door on the front of our house in one day. One of those windows being the size of a wall. We now have a beautiful bump out window. We are so happy with our choice not just because of the price, but because of the people and the quality of the work that was done. We’ll be working with them again in our future.

Rochester Colonial just finished installing 7 Marvin windows in our home in Corn Hill. Replacing 10 ft windows in a historic home is an investment and quite a process. Rochester Colonial made it a breeze. The customer service we got from start to finish was outstanding. The install team was incredibly professional, neat, and considerate of all our furnishings. The windows were installed flawlessly and have features we havent seen from other manufactures. We are beyond happy and cannot wait to work with Rochester Colonial on our next window phase.

I had a window break. I called to ask for them to come check. I needed to take time off work. The first man said, oh, Im not a service person, I cant fix it- I just came to check what it is. That cost me money. Then when the correct person came he Luckily had the piece on the truck because the first mans photo wasnt clear what it was. Anyway, he fixed it in about 15 minutes total and charged me $113! Wow- that was expensive. Due to taking time off work, I had a plumber here at the same time. The plumber stayed 1 1/2 hours and the bill was only $95.Crazy how these windows are guaranteed for life, but I spec $113 to have a tiny piece fixed in 15 minutes.

This place has quality stuff and top notch, knowledgeable employees. I needed to get some windows replaced under warranty and thought they were bought there. Turned out they werent but they helped me find the manufacturer anyways, even knowing they werent theirs. Thats great customer service .

We had a door to our deck replaced a few years ago and just replaced most of our windows with wonderful new vinyl ones! Our installers were pleasant, very clean, extremely efficient, had 12 windows installed in only a few hours! They even vacuumed the rooms after finishing! I would not hesitate to recommend them for doors and windows. They have the best products and stand behind everything they install.

On the day of installation, the crew was on time, proceeded to explain their routine, and began moving my furniture and taking down the window treatments. All of my experiences with Rochester Colonial have been superb. From the salesmen who never push to the quality of their products, their reliability for on-time installations and the courteousness for their installers it has always been highly satisfying. But for me the real test is in “the after care”. Even when my purchases have long been out of any kind of warranty they have continued to show up when they say they will, make any repairs necessary at no charge to me and promised to continue to stand behind their product. This promise they have kept and I know they will continue to do so. How rare is THAT these days? I have and always will, recommend them without reservation.

They out sourced making a new door lock and it came back wrong. Not Rochester Colonial problem but still frustrating. If done right the next time it will be 3 months to get a lock. Buy from this company. The original door purchased at home Depot was apparently an off brand and Home Depot didnt know who made it and couldnt help me at all.

Rochester Colonial replaced the sliding glass door in my kitchen with a beautiful Marvin screened french door. We couldnt be happier with the look and functionality of the new door. We had a small issue with the installation, but our salesman, Mike Gionta, and his installers fixed it for us in a timely manner and at no cost. They did exactly what they said they were gonna do to wrapping wood on the outside to replacing any damaged wood they find. The clean up was spot on couldnt even tell they just put the door in. Ripley was great through the whole process made us feel comfortably right away. Door was a little high in price, but you get what you pay for with the product and service. Would buy from there again, looking at a certain kind of window we liked right now. Well see.

We initially used Rochester Colonial on installations of a replacement kitchen window then a year later to replace a triple slider door and large bay window in our sun room. On both occasions we were extremely pleased with the quality of the product, the installation and the price. This past fall we chose RC to replace all of our homes windows and doors and were equally pleased with all aspects of the job. Called to get a general phone quote on Ultrex fiberglass windows on Friday, the salesman said he would get back to me, he never did! I visited the show room and discovered a big lie the salesman told me over the phone; he said the integrity and Infinity windows were completely different (actually said He would never recommend the integrity window, his words) At the show room I was told and could see there were details about both that were different but the actual window was comparable except the price!. NOT VERY HONEST! I will be getting my windows but having them installed by a private contractor who I Trust!

I watched them put in my new windows, and I STILL dont know how they did it. It was like our old, nasty circa 1949 Pella windows magically disappeared, and in their place are beautiful new windows. The outside trim matches the house perfectly. They look fantastic from the inside and are so easy to open and close. Our sales person, Chris Gionta, was terrific, fitting us with just what we needed. And the installation of windows for our entire house was completed in only two days. If you need new windows, Rochester Colonial is who you need to contact. Theyre wonderful.

We were extremely pleased with Rochester Colonial where we purchased our storm door. The salesman, Chris Gionta, was very professional and patient with us during the entire process. We did not feel pressured by him in the least. Matt Z. came out to do the installation. He also was very professional, polite, and neat. After he installed the door he took a few minutes to check a window we couldnt open and fixed it in a matter of seconds. He explained to us what the problem was and the proper way to use the tilt in feature of the window. We would definitely use Rochester Colonial again in the future.

Great designers ready to come up with neat ways of making our home better

I would give a zero if possible. We replaced a back door and storm door as well as a front storm door years ago with them. The handle was put on upside down and was rusting within months of install. Because we were told it had a lifetime warranty we called and we called and we called - left MANY messages and NEVER received a call back. To this day I have to tell every single person to pull up on the handle instead of push down - so annoying and both storm doors now need replacing - guess what - will not be going back to these people thats for sure.

Hey, if you are into nepotistic organizations that treat their employees like garbage, then this is the place for you! I specifically remember when I worked for these jerks one summer while I was still in college, one of the higher ups (John) screaming at me, We dont pay you to think!!!, when all I was trying to do was save us some time while we were dragging scrapped window frames around at a job site. That is about how I sum up Rochester Colonial. They dont pay ANYONE to think.Dont get me wrong, Im sure their customer service is great. In large part because the under paid, over worked, micro managed people that work for them know exactly how worthless and dispensable they are to the management and executives. One more interesting fact: the only guy to ever try unionizing the labor at this place was mysteriously murdered. Its true!So yah... take your business elsewhere.

This note is to thank you and your crew for the outstanding work on the instillation of a new sliding door.When we first talked about replacing the old door, I alerted you to the fact that there was some deterioration, caused by water seepage, to the areas surrounding the door frame and sill. Much of the problem was hidden from view and not too apparent from the areas that could be readily seen. I also cautioned that there might well be some carpenter ant damage to both the wall next to the door frame & sill. Because all of this was hidden from view we both knew that the extent could not be determined until the old door was removed to expose the hidden damage.Once your crew got to work on the project, the deteriorated frame work and hidden structure was much worse than I expected. Thanks to their skill, experience, and pride in workmanship, your Crew was able to clear out all the deteriorated elements and reconstruct the new framing needed to provide a solid opening in which to install the new door.Thanks to Andre Chavez, Jason Sprague, and advice from Doug Hullett, the project was completed in two days. I was impressed how Andre and Jason worked so well together. With this pair on the job and suggestions from Doug there was no way that this instillation could be done any better. The end result speaks well of your organization.I am convinced that when the day comes that this house falls down, without a doubt, the new door will still be standing in all its shining glory!Another part of this job was to replace the fabric on an awning that was installed many years ago by Rochester Colonial. Tim Andrews and Jason Sprague worked on the project. It too was completed in short order and looks great over the new door. We purchased all windows for our home 2 years ago from Mike Gionta at Rochester Colonial. While cleaning my windows this Spring on a Saturday I had a spring clip break when I had the window bent into the house. The bottom half of the window completely came off. I called and spoke to Chris Gionta and said I need an emergency service call. He had me send him pictures so he knew what they were dealing with. He assured me if he couldnt get someone to my home he would personally be there that afternoon. He was able to get a service technician to come right away with a new clip and it was fixed immediately. I highly recommend purchasing doors and windows from Rochester Colonial because if something does go wrong they will stand behind their product, fix the problem and make sure their customer is happy.
