Poor service. Highly overcharging rates. Got me charged $50 for only vehicle diagnostic test. Never mentioned any fees but charged me when handing me back car keys. Not recommended!!

Had never stopped here for gas before yesterday. To my surprise a cordial and friendly young man came out to pump my gas. He said we pump your gas 365 days per year rain snow or sunshine. Nice to know this service is available in town and was only few cents more per gallon than place down road. I will pay little extra for extra service!

I support the family owned and operated business model because I own one myself. It takes extra dedication because youre competing with larger chains. Small businesses have always kept the local neighborhood flourishing in my opinion and continues to be the backbone of the community. The staff at North Hill Automotive have always been fair, honest and up front with me and I really appreciate that. I love how they offer full service without the extra charge too! The guys work extremely hard to make sure everything is done correctly and in a timely manner. Youll always have a customer in me. Keep up the fantastic work guys!

Took my 2010 Town and Country here with exhaust and air conditioning issues. The van required a completely new exhaust system, which is what we expected. However, we had been to three other places that had claimed they fixed our air conditioning and all three times it stopped working with in a few days. North Hill Automotive was able to actually fix our A/C and it has stayed fixed, and the costs were well below what I was expecting to pay. I would HIGHLY recommend using North Hill Automotive.

Stay warm with a full-service gas station!We stopped in last night on a wintery evening and were surprised to be greeted by an energetic and friendly attendant.Neither my husband nor I could remember the last time we sat in our car while someone served us at the gas station. Pretty cool!Good prices and surprisingly friendly service.

Is there anything more wonderful and valuable than peace of mind? I know when I take my car here that I am in good, skillful, HONEST hands. If I can help it I really wont go anywhere else these days. Wonderful shop, great communication, honest people and fair prices. If there were 10 stars, I would give them 10 stars. North Hill Tire & Auto has always been a great place to go for auto service or tires. Art is a great mechanic who is honest and hard working; he wont steer you wrong. I like this place because it is a throwback from the good ole service station days which are just about non existent. You will be treated well while your vehicle is serviced quickly and professionally. Yes, there are newer or more upscale places to go for auto service but North Hill Tire & Auto gets the job done with a yesteryear experience! There must be a reason they have been around for over 40 years.

Ive always had good experiences here. We live in the neighborhood, and its nice to support your neighborhood shop. Ive had a few flats and have taken them there to fix. It was inexpensive and quick. One time I spun the tire off my riding lawn mower and I took it down and Brian reseated and inflated it free of charge. They did a brake job on my wifes truck for just a little more than I could have done it myself. It seems their labor prices are very reasonable. For older folks who dont want to get out in the cold they will pump your gas and wipe your windows at no extra charge (although Im sure the guys appreciate a generous tip!). Finally, they have free air, just pull up to the garage and fill up your tires. Theyll even lend you a pressure gauge. Its what I imagine service stations were like back in the old days. Good, friendly, honest.

I got my car towed here at 7am I caught a flat tire. I had to wait until 8am until the mechanic arrived which he was very nice. He told me to wait until around 9 to see if anyone else had a tire for me. I found a tire on my own and I asked the the mechanic how much would he charge me just to put on my tire. Some woman wearing a purple shirt Im guess shes part owner just walked up and totally blew me off she said to me Hes a REAL mechanic with REAL jobs she pointed at the other cars in the shop, I doubt hes putting your tire on this lady didnt even know that I had been waiting since 7 am this was around 9:15 when she was rude to me. I never got a chance to get service I immediately put my hazards on my car and drove to the nearest shop. I will never come back here. Thank you to the nice mechanic he was a older gentleman. To Ms.Purple Shirt in not sure what I did to you, but I hope you have a better day.

This is the best place for oil change, price and quality! They always get me in and my whole family, they are super nice and informative never had a problem and have been doing oil changes there for years on 5 family cars!!!

I will never recommend this place to anybody. They price gouge on labor like crazy. My Power steering pump needed to be replaced, clean off the spilled oi from my alternator, and put on a serpentine belt, I brought my car to them fully aware of the issues beforehand as I had already had the car inspected months earlier. They were so backed up it had to wait til the next day. That was fine.The next morning, the call me and tell me my repair is going to be about $500. Im a college student and cant afford that. I let them know, and they tell me to hold on while they try to work on the price.They call me back 10 minutes later, and tell me they made a pricing error and I they overcharged for labor by almost 100$, bringing my total down to like 400$. I told them that was still too much. I tell them to put my car back outside and I will tow it somewhere else.When I show up to get my car, they then ask me to pay 45$ for the diagnostic. This was the first time I had ever heard of having to pay anything. Its not posted anywhere in the building, and I never signed anything. After some back and forth, I got my keys back free of charge.I took my car to D&G auto on South Street. Mechanic charged me about 250$, parts and labor included. Please avoid this scam fest at all cost. Do not accept the prices they try to impose, its unethical. Ive had a radiator replaced and new brakes installed on my car before for less then this repair they tried to price me on.

Cold weather and the car just wouldnt start; didnt think it was the battery. Cliff came out personally and tried to get it going, but in the end we had it towed back to North Hill. Sure enough it was the battery, replaced, and guess what, Cliff came out to the house and drove me back to pick up the car. Thats SERVICE. We both hope we dont need to see each other again, but I know where Ill go if a new problem comes up.
