Very nice people! I stopped there when I got a flat and they helped me right away. Sold me a tire they had in stock and replaced it quick and easy at an amazing price! They also noticed my engine splash shield was hanging down underneath and fixed that as well! Thanks guys!!

If 0 Stars were a possible rating, that is what I would give. Horribly unprofessional services. The owner (AKA Clyde) was downright aggressive with my partner and I, falsely accusing us of going on his property after hours when we never did. He even got in my partners face, physically pushing against my partner with his own body in an attempt to intimidate him into admitting we were on his property. He then checked his cameras (after a good half hour of literally arguing with the man, insisting we never went on his property after hours) and saw that it wasnt us, then used the excuse of his personal life problems to account for his aggressive behavior. Second trip to make a payment I called ahead and he threated to keep my RV from me, then refused to answer the phone for the rest of the day. I bought the RV from a person in Massachusettes, where it had been sitting for about a year. It needed quite a bit of work to be road-ready and I had no issues paying whatever cost they quoted to me. Finally paid off the invoice (a total of $1585), went to pick up the RV and they claimed it was having issues starting because it was so old (1986 Chevy Shasta). I took their word for it and drove it off the lot. It broke down 3 different times on the highway that same day (within a half hour of leaving his business), and overheated to the point the engine wouldnt even shut down after I turned the ignition off. The dang thing could have blown up with me inside of it! It was smoking horribly... Come to find out, they didnt put a single fluid in it that it needed, other than gasoline, and that includes the coolant. The water pump busted and there was damage to the engine because of their lack of attention to what my vehicle needed. Yet, they slapped an inspection sticker on it anyway. The parts and labor I paid for are warrantied for 90 days per the invoice I got from him, but I no longer trust his business enough to take it back there to have them fix the damage their lack of proper servicing caused. I have asked a few friends about the place, and now know of many others that he has bamboozled with this business of his. I hate having to say this because I am usually a HUGE supporter of local businesses, but: DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH UNPROFESSIONAL, PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIORS, UNREASONABLE PRICING, AND IRREPUTABLE SERVICES!

Omg they had me tow my motor home to there shop for a water pump . They made me wait for 10 days My cat and myself waited 10 days freezing with no heat. I asked why did they have me pay to tow my motor home if they couldnt do the job when I told them how important it was for me to get running because my mother is very sick and I need to be by her side. He basically said too bad he was very belgerant. So unfair but nothing I could do other than wait because I used my tow to his shop. Now I have to try to put it in myself after waiting 11 days

The inspection shop I have been going to for years got bought out so I was nervous about going to a new place. The person who bought out Bobs Towing in Rochester referred me to here. I could not have been more pleased. They were able to get me an appointment next day and I was in and out within 25 minutes. Very nice people

I had a lot of work done here in the past... they even let me charge it .. but; when I made payments, I started to notice that only part of my money was being applied to my balance owed..I questioned this and he blamed it on his accountant and said she had “a new computer system that he didn’t understand”...I caught on to his scam and immediately he wanted to be paid in full when I questioned it.!!So; I sold my vehicle that was there under repair..(which by the way he had chained up and locked behind his garage so I could actually never have any access to it until the bill was paid.. like I was the dishonest one..!!!!😂😂😂So; I paid him off in full that day of selling said vehicle...done deal right ?? Nope..Next day; got a call from the owner whom said I now owed him one more invoice and it was $444... this was the interest that he decides to now charge me on the money that I had owed to him over the past 12 months!!!! Crazy right???Of course ; I went to see my attorney and he said to ignore that invoice Since I had never signed any agreement to pay interest on credit that he allowed me to have there and he could not legally charge me for it...so; I had no dealings with them for about a year and then ....On Christmas week; he started sending certified letters to my home and filed some court papers as well.So;. long story short; this went on for another year and a half and the local Rochester District Court and the Superior Court shot him down both times and then he tried to sue me for HIS legal expenses of $4500.00..!!😂😂😂Finally; the Superior Court made a final decree saying that I owed C&G Automotive $.00 dollars..!!( that was a couple years ago )..But; still to this day, whenever this idiot sees me on the road or in a restaurant or a gas station or a store... he seems to think that he has the right to give me the middle finger and say F you in front of the customers... what a jerk..!!I would never bring my car here again and I would suggest nobody else go there!!!P.S ...To Clyde ( the owner)..Maybe now you’ll stop giving me the finger in public..???

They did a great job on an old rv we brought in! Ended up being more expensive than we originally expected but, considering the amount of work they did, it was well worth it! And even so, it was still reasonably priced for everything they did. Only downside was it took longer than expected but they always took our calls and were friendly.

Not good for inspections if you dont have a brand new car I wouldnt suggest bringing it there I have a 09 truck and they picked it apart. Also worst place to have install front end parts they didnt even get it close when I had them install inner and outer tire rods you can usually get close till you have an alignment done but it was to the point it was pulling me all over the road

Good people and will do what they can to help. Pricing is decent and the work is fairly quick for the amount of staff they have. Every time I have car trouble I cant tackle myself I bring to these guys.

Mechanic was super nice. Easy to find, and they were polite.

Been Coming to these guys for years, I have found them to be honest, hard working, very communicative and trustworthy.

Been going to this garage since i owned my car. I could not ask for a better group of people and the service is great. Expecially rob my mechanic. They have gone out of their way for me a few times. Thank you guys!!

I have been going to C&G since I got my first car at 16. I have always been treated well and taken care of. The owner was always willing to work with me even when I couldnt afford some of the repairs I needed. Proud to say I will be a life long customer.

Christopher,With everything I have personally done for you while working at C&G automotive I don’t understand how you could post such a negative comment. Between fixing your VW on numerous occasions and giving you a huge helping hand by taking some money off when you didn’t have the money. So when you fail to uphold your side of a deal you fully agreed on suddenly Clyde’s the criminal and the bad guy? I think you need to re-evaluate your thought process and alter your ego. Clyde’s helped you more times than you can count. Don’t go slandering a business with false information because you don’t get your way. That’s not fair nor is it right.

I came in for an inspection sticker. They looked at my car and one guy was gonna give me the sticker. Another guy wanted to put my car up and then started to quote me for things that he said werent necessary. When i said due the holidays and bills I didnt have a whole lot money. They wanted to do $500 worth of unnecessary work and are refusing to put the sticker on. But seeing as how I need the car I agreed. They told me it would take a day and s half (i dropped the car off at the start of business.) I called to confirm I could get the car at about an hour before the close of business the following day and was told that they would be unable to give me my car till late the next morning. They assured me that it would be done. I will never come back here again.

Very rude. Came back for a reinspection. The owner gave me an attitude I gave him one back and he followed me out of the building.

Very bad situation I brought in a 2003 150 Ford with brand new tires brand new exhaust and all kinds of accessories that I bought on a private sale to trade him to work on my vehicle and then I gave him another $800 to work on my vehicle and I just called them up today after waiting two and three weeks at a time to call him and he wants me to take my vehicle out unfinished and he gets to use the brand new tires keep the 2003 150 that he has and all sorts of other stuff.well since you want to act like that Clyde I know all about your wetlands activities.I hope you get it because Im definitely going to the town and tell them all I know since I was 16 years old going to your shop.Clyde is a fraud a liar a bully to his customers and a bully to the town he lives in and hes not going to do it to this one.
