This company has been a team player when it comes to our equipment and our growing facility which is Homesteads for Hope, a Community Farm for people with disabilities. They have helped us navigate ADA compliance while renovating our 18th century historic barns, and just yesterday installed a new door entry for our Farm Store that needed upgrade as we expanded the facility with a food service café. From estimate, quote and install there work is incredible. I choose Genesee Glass over the competitors!

I recently dropped off 2 window panes to have new glass put in them. The gentlemen in the office was quick to help giving me several options, I left the windows at 11:30am and he called me back at 3pm letting me know they were already done! Super fast service at a very fair price. Ill be using them again in the future.

Dropped off a piece of glass for a storm door and they said theyd let me know in a few days when it was ready for pick up. Got home and checked my answering machine and it was already done!

They have always been very good to me my only complaint is I walked in and someone was on the phone and not once did they acknowledge me. They sound like they were on the phone with a telemarketer and desperately trying to get off the phone. I had to text the person who said my glass was ready and then someone addressed me. That person who was at the front desk was still on the phone and still never acknowledged me other than that theyre fabulous

I’ve been to this business twice. Once to have them replace my windshield; and just recently to have a piece of plexiglass cut. Both times they went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. They are very professional and have done an exceptional job. I highly recommend them! I would like to say thank you for making my day this past visit! I’ve been putting in a ton of overtime at my job (I work in the microbiology lab where we do the Covid testing) and just have been completely exhausted (well, ever since the pandemic hit). When I went in to get my plexiglass cut, the guy who did it was very kind and very quick! You sir made my day! Feels good to know there are still awesome, descent humans out there!

This is one great company! I was taken care of by Brett like I was family. I came in looking for a price on a small piece of specialty glass with a certain edge bevel & a large hole to be drilled in the middle to become a replacement for a missing glass stage on an antique microscope. Brett said he would charge for 1 hour of labor and the glass itself would be essentially free. I said fine but wanted to look around. I went to another place, well known with an excellent reputation around town, and showed the boss there the same picture and measurements that I had shown to Brett. He said they would not get involved with something like that, that I needed to go to so & so specialty shop, which I did. The man at the specialty shop said he could do it & asked me how many I wanted. When I told him, One, he said it would be just over $500. Brett did it for $70 and checked with me several times during the work, also having me come in to inspect it mid-way. I was very pleased with the result. Six weeks later I went in with a small much simpler order; Brett cut and smoothed the 2 small pieces while I waited and said the job was on the house. Fast, friendly and accurate service! I was expecting to wait a few days for it, and other vendors thought it would take over a week to complete the job. I was pleasantly surprised when I came in and was able to get my piece of glass replaced same day while I waited for it! And it even fit perfectly like the original.

The best glass shop in Monroe county!

I needed to have the driver side window replaced due to a large crack. The insurance connected me to them (Gerry) and they scheduled it right away. I arrived and they said it would be an hour wait. I was back in my car within 45 minutes. The reception was very professional and personable. Would certainly use them again in the future.

Easy to work with. Was able to get a quote over email. Once I approved, glass was cut same day and ready for pick up.

I had purchased a vintage black cast iron outdoor side table with a pretty ripple glass insert at a garage sale. It wasnt until I returned home that I realized the glass insert was about a quarter of an inch too long no matter how I turned it in the tabletop. I brought it to Genesee Glass & Mirror and they immediately made it the correct length, smoothed the side so no one would get caught and charged me a very reasonable price. It was a very pleasant experience. I felt that they wanted to help without being pushy. Definitely keeping their card for future work.

Replaced double pane glass from an old crank out Anderson window I broke manufactured in the late 70s which had some old metal tape criss cross type design on it. They could have duplicated the design but I decided against it. They showed me how to remove the design stuff with a razor blade from the rest of the glass in my house and even gave me a few blades to do it with. Top Notch service and it was cheaper than I figured. Thanks!

Ive been doing business with these folks for many years, and I cant say enough good things about them. From insulated glass units, to mirror glass, to beveled glass, to window replacement, they do it all and with a level of professionalism second to none. Can’t say enough great things. We called in a desperation because our house was up for sale and pending an inspection. Someone broke a window during the night. They sent someone out within 30 minutes to take a measurement and quote us a price. Rushed the glass and put it in Monday morning. One of the best experiences with a company ever! Thank you.

Excellent staff, friendly and personable. Convenient hours and location, I love that I was offered an option to drop off my window or have the Genesee Glass staff come to my home to fix it on site, that made it much easier and there was no mess left behind for me to clean up. The prices were great, I recommend, and will return to, Genesee Glass and Mirror.

Jerry and his team at Genessee Glass and Mirror were great. I had 4 of the fogged Hurd double hung windows. These were the Heat Mirror 88s that had the extra thick insulating glazing. Jerry suggested a replacement glass that would equal the performance and the look of the original glazing. These Hurd window sashes are very complex to disassemble and replace the glazing because of their construction and insulating quality. Jerry did the first set, and then because of what he learned, his team could do the next set faster, Jerry then lowered my bill and the estimate for the next set.. I ask you when does that happen today? Jerry also made a custom mirror for a bath application that turned out stunning. Give them a call with all your glass needs and you will not be disappointed.
