Best mechanic Ive ever been to. Got me in quickly for an appointment on my catalytic converter. Said there was nothing wrong and didnt charge me at all. Dealership wanted $1200 to fix something that isnt even an issue.

So far I have just went for a free estimate to get my car fixed after an accident. I have to say even within the 20 minutes I was there this is possibly the best mechanic Ive been too.So friendly & I could tell they are honest people. When I was younger and couldnt afford to get my car fixed when surprises came up, they always found a way to help me get it fixed. They do excellent work. Morris Auto is far and away the best car mechanic in town. They are always professional and up-front. Every time Ive had to bring my car in, theyve been honest about repairs and costs and didnt try to BS me on anything. Plus, being close to RITs campus makes them the best spot to get my car fixed without having to trek across town.

Great, honest mechanic with a quality service and customer experience. I don’t know much about cars so I’m always hesitant to go anywhere and take the chance I’m getting something done I didn’t really need. I want to make sure whoever Im bringing my car to is honest. In comes Morris auto. Morris will never try to upsell you or get work done that you don’t need. In fact, they’ve saved me a ton of money over the years by telling me I didn’t need something replaced when other shops were saying I absolutely needed it done. I really can’t think of any shop I’ve been to that has done this. It’s a great place and all the reviews speak for themselves. You won’t be disappointed!

Today I completed my first dealing with Morris Auto and I am very happy with my experience. I needed some cosmetic work done on my car after a collision and if the work is always as good as this time, Ill never need another auto shop again. I was a little worried because my car is a somewhat uncommon colour but my expectations were met and exceeded. I cannot tell even under close inspection where the factory paint ends and Morris begins. The work was done beautifully and the car looks just as good as it did before the accident. They also got it done very quickly compared to other shops Ive used in the past and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back the next time I need work done.

Honest shop! My wife, son and I have all had work done on our cars from oil changes, brakes, and air conditioning to body work. Theyve done a great job on the older 2007 Honda Civic and our new, uncommon hybrid cars. Theyve done better work than at the dealership and for a MUCH better price. I appreciate their texting capabilities and quick turnaround when I emailed them. Theyve made working with insurance as easy as possible. Jesse, Jenna and Tom (and probably others that I dont know their names) have all been great to us lately. Theyre friendly and have my trust. I go out of my way to recommend Morris Auto Repair and Collision to family and friends.

After getting a few estimates on fixing our car, we went to Morris Auto upon recommendation from another company we deal with for all our car care needs. Jesse came through with a much lower estimate and time frame. Even during COVID-19, he was willing and able to help us out. No hands on transactions and work was done on time! Recommended by a friend. Went in for muffler repair. I dropped it off for repair the next day. It took them a while to get back to me with a quote (they said 9ish, but they got back to me around 2p). But in the end, they fixed my car by the end of the workday, as promised, and they welded the muffler at reasonable price. They arent cheap, but at no point were they saying oh you need this... your car needs that... Just prompt, no nonsense service. If you put a premium on reliability and trustworthiness, Id suggest you try them. As an added bonus, they also give you updates by text.

There was an issue with my car where my dash would begin to flicker like a strobe, power steering would cut, and then the car would stop. Im a nursing student, and I just about panicked when I realized I would be without a car. They were kind enough to loan me one they have at the garage too! They were super prompt in helping me get this fixed, replacing the battery, and then ultimately the alternator. They were incredibly understanding and patient despite how frustrated I was with the whole situation.

Ive taken my car here 3 times. They have always been extremely helpful, giving me ample information about each situation and letting me know all of my options. I can really tell that they care about me and my car first and foremost. They deal with a lot of students and are very conscious of the fact that money isnt always easy to come by. They get a lot of business, so they usually dont get to my car day-of, but Ive never had to wait more than a day.

Jessie has taken the shop to a new level following in Jims tradition. In my case he has handled really tough and technical issues with a BMW M5 to a beater Honda. I know I can completely trust him. 10 Years in and Morris is still my garage of choice. My latest experience was a power window repair that turned out to be a loose connection. Fixed free of charge. As they say, Cheap, Good, Fast pick two. Morris does excellent work on a budget, so expect a bit of a wait to get in & out. Worth the extra day here and there for good, honest work and savings.

Went to Monro Muffler in a pinch to get an oil change and they told me my tires, brakes and battery were all bad. Scheduled an appointment at Morris and dropped off my car. 20 minutes they called to tell me my tires, brakes and battery were all in great condition. The characteristic I want most in my mechanic is honesty and thats what you get here!

One of the most honest mechanic that you can find. Down to earth and will only fix according to what you want. Before moving forward with anything they will communicate with you about what is broken and how much the price is. They dont work in the weekends as well.

I needed a new set of tires and to fix the door lock. It took them 4 (four!) days to do this and I couldnt get half the stuff done that week because my car just sat there the whole week. At the end, they charged me somewhere between $200-$250 for the lock without the cylinder (which means I still cant lock my car using the key). The cylinder would take a couple more days and additional money. I said no thanks. Not going back there.
