I met an Asian-American folk there to get my trailers tire replaced. He was quick, honest, helpful, and kind. I would absolutely come back if anything happens to my car (though I wish nothing does to it!)

Love this place. Have used them in many states and they are all excellent. Flat repair at no cost even if your not a customer. Beat anyones pricing, just let them know. Get the warranty on the tires. Free replacement for any non-repairable damage no questions asked.

Caught a screw in a tire and had a slow leak. Took it to Discount Tire and they fixed it for me - NO CHARGE!!! even though this tire had been purchased elsewhere (previous set on this vehicle had been purchased from DT in Lino Lakes, and I was just traveling through Rochester.Staff was extremely nice, professional, and helpful. I always seem to have the worst luck with running over screws and such and I can always count on discount tire. They can usually get me in the same day. They’re always quick, friendly and they’ve never tried to “upgrade” or sell me anything I didn’t need.

I took my Tesla model X here today. I was nervous because there are a few things different about lifting a Tesla. Once I talked to the staff (McKenna) my concerns were eased. They clearly have experience and the equipment they needed. They were very busy today but the entire staff was working very hard to make sure every customer was dealt with thoroughly and efficiently. Plus I saved money over having my tires done elsewhere.

I came in on a Saturday and they were busy, but their service was good. They are polite and quick! It is best if you set up an appointment online so they can get you in right away. I got a full set of tires for my car that were all season for a good price.

Very fast service when I went there to select which tires I wanted to purchase. The representative went out to my car and measured my current tires (which I had already known needed to be replaced). He explained pros/cons of different tire options based on my driving habits and desires and made a couple recommendations. Tires were delivered next day, and they called to schedule an appointment, which I was available that same day. Tires were installed within an hour. Waiting room clean and spacious, which was perfect for social distancing during the pandemic.

The service work is good..but had new tire put on and ended up getting a nail in tire..called to make appointment to get fixed and was told it would be 8 days to get it in unless I showed up early at opening up.I was there at opening and they said jave you out by 9:30 at 10:00. I asked if they were getting to me..they said Im next..thats BS .that part of service sucks..

Discount Tire is one of the go-to shops for Tesla owners in Rochester. I had to visit the store in person to order winter tires and wheels for a Tesla Model Y (since its a relatively new model their web site, and most others, wasnt updated with the cars specs). However, they were very helpful and I was able to find winter wheels and tires for far less than Teslas offerings. I did have to obtain TPMs from Tesla directly, but thats not Discount Tires fault. Installation went smoothly, new TPMs synced up right away, and they even wrapped my summer tires so they didnt make a mess in the car.

They were able to get us right in when we got there about 5:20 and got all 4 tires on quickly.

Tony and his team at the North Store in Rochester are fantastic! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. We dont shop anywhere else for tires because we appreciate what we get with them!

I had FANTASTIC service. My tire had a nail in it, and they checked it and fixed it within an hour of my appointment. They are incredibly busy in November, but it was well worth the service. I recommend getting an appointment online before going, but walk-ins are welcome. Great friendly staff, who were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back for any of my tire related needs.

Ive bought at least 7 sets of tires for my vehicles and trailer over the last 12 years and have had countless rotations through Discount Tire North. They are my go to in town. Always fast, competent, and the sales guys know what they are talking about. The two times over all of those experiences where there was a small balance issue, they took care of it immediately.

Had a quick fix issue taken care of in less than 10 min. Also got me an appt for new tires within 2 hours. VERY helpful in deciding which tires to go with. In n out in 45 minutes

Hands down the best customer service in Rochester.This is the third time I have bought tires from these guys and I will be a customer for as long as they are here.

We had an appt set up, the guys were nice, but it does NOT take an HOUR to put on 4 new tires. Try for under 16, especially if they are in the lobby. I dont remember if it was labor paid by time, but if it is, its rude to rip people off.

After purchasing 4 new tires for my car it seemed that they all kept losing air. I brought the car back several times, they would add air to the tires and tried new valve stems but they continued to lose air. They took the tires off the wheels and said they cleaned the rims but I still had to add air a couple times a week. When I returned again I was told I would need to buy new wheels at about $1600. Before spending this much I went to my regular mechanic who again removed the tires, cleaned the rims, remounted, balanced, and reinstalled for under $100. No more losing air! Make sure you get a second opinion! I did give 2 stars as the people here are very friendly and it is a clean, comfortable waiting area.

I made an appointment to have a slow leak fixed. I’m not sure if they understand what an appointment means I am still waiting and it has been over an hour. I would never go back to the north Rochester location. The south store has always been great to work with.

I have been a customer at Discount Tire for many years. Tony at the NW location is knowledgeable and easy to work with. I have been having troubles with one of my rims rusting and causing my tire to slowly leak. They buffed down my rims and rotated my tires to help prolong getting new rims. I appreciate their honesty and hard work and will continue to use them.

We have been buying our tires here for years, their prices on tires are average or maybe just a little below other tire retailers. But what they do better than the other retailers is free lifetime balance and rotation of the tires. As well as free air pressure checks whenever youre in doubt. The staff is always been friendly and courteous, and seem to know what theyre talking about. The facility itself is nice and clean, unlike some of the local garages it would be a place I would feel safe and okay with letting my wife go alone.

Been a true customer here and given true service no matter what I guess. Brought a new car with a nail in the tire into the shop and wasnt asked to pay a penny to have it fixed. Very cool. Thank You!

They were INSANELY busy today after the first snowfall of the year. It was a very stressful environment. But the staff (McKenna in particular) were so professional and efficient. I would like to start off by saying how nice this facility is. Well lit, clean, spacious and fans are running to keep you cool, plenty of comfortable chairs and water and coffee is available. I priced tires previously and when I said I’d look into it further they said they’d price match anyone and they did. They also had rebates one from the tire manufacturer and one through them. Altogether I saved over $200 on tires. I pulled out my spare and they inspected it and aired it up for me. Might be discount tires but the service sure wasn’t discounted. The warranty they offer is also nice driving around on the crappy roads we have.I was going to take it to the dealership because I wanted professional job done right service but the same if not better service. You are not just another dollar to them but a customer they want to bring back.

They were nice at first, but then half an hour before they were supposed to close, I tried calling them to let them know my boyfriend and I are limping our car from autozone on Broadway to their store to buy one tire since ours is flat and wont hold air and we tried finding a ride, but no one was available and I tried calling 3 times, second and last time it only rang twice and then went to voicemail so clearly they hung up. Thanks guys! Great service!

Tony was amazing. He helped me get my winter tires on, and got me set with a set of new summer tires so I would not have to haul my current ones around until the next change over. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and great customer service. This is why I’ll always choose discount tires. It is because of the employees like Tony, and the service they provide.

It was time for a tire rotation so I stopped in but they said it would be several hours, that made sense as they were busy. The desk person suggested I call ahead on another day so the next day I called in the morning and they said they would put me on their schedule and I should show up at 12:15, I arrived a bit early and they said I was all set and it wouldnt be long. Two hours later I asked for my keys back as my car still wasnt brought in the shop, at this point they said they would do it immediately which they did. I dont know why I called ahead and got a time.
