Love this dealership. Geoff B was an awesome salesman. easy to talk to, super helpful and not pushy. everyone we encountered there was extremely nice. we love my fiances new A4! will hopefully be back to purchase another soon for me.
Just got X3M competition from Luther park and Wendy Permann help me to get it what I want she doing a GREAT JOB Her acknowledge about BMW is top notch THANK YOU !
Nice! Jared Gafkjen (Audi front end service/scheduler) did the foot work with our extended warranty and really smoothed the process for me and saved us some money too! Thanks!
Almin Alisa is so great to work with. Highly recommend. No pressure and very knowledgeable... His experience shines thru.
Made a deal online and the sales manager refused to honor it. Changed the price by 34%. Also claimed to not know what I was talking about when I arrived but magically had all my info 20 minutes later without me talking to him.
I called around 9AM and spoke with Almin. I asked to place a hold on an X1 that I saw online. I said I was coming from over an hour away and wanted to see the vehicle around 5:30 pm. When I got there I met Almin and looked at the vehicle. I noticed it hadn’t been cleaned inside or out. Crumbs and dirt all over inside from previous owner. I took the vehicle for a drive and loved it! After the test drive we started talking about financing and he told me a price that was way above what was advertised. I told him I saw the vehicle for $14,449 and he told me the vehicle was $21,XXX. He told me I would have to speak to his manager because he said that would be “too good of a deal”. His manager then came over and said they discovered the error around 11AM and changed the price online then. I had driven over an hour to look at a vehicle I couldn’t afford that hadn’t even been cleaned or vacuumed. They could have had the decency to just give me a simple phone call but instead I wasted over 2 hours driving back and forth and they didn’t even offer a dime off the price of the vehicle. Purchasing a vehicle is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience. I would recommend a different place for your next purchase, they’re not customer oriented.
Excellent facility. Service was completed quickly. Only complaint was they didnt have coffee available due to COVID restrictions. Rather be safe.
Joshua Kern did some great work on my 2001 Audi TT last fall. I had just purchased the car and brought it in to get some rear coils replaced. Joshua called me a few hours after I dropped off the car and told me the bad news - most of the lugs on the wheels had seized and they couldnt get them off! This was the day before Thanksgiving. Joshua took some time over Thanksgiving to look up a solution and then he and the shop foreman were able to get 11 of the seized lugs off without needing to drill them out. They went above and beyond - and in the process saved me a good chunk of money. My family says thank you!
Buying a new or used vehicle, I suggest purchasing from Park Place Motor Cars. Very knowledgeable sales people and they make you feel valued.
By far the best experience I’ve had ever had with getting a car. As soon as I was browsing around on the lot for a vehicle, Geoff walks out in less than 5 minutes to help me. Everything from beginning to end was excellent! What I enjoyed the most was that Geoff wasn’t pushy about which vehicle I should get or that I needed to leave with purchasing one. That’s what made this experience so enjoyable. Every employee here greets you and makes sure you’re being helped. I 10/10 would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. I had my little one with me and Geoff made sure I wasn’t spending most of my day there. He had everything ready for me so that all I had to do was sign papers when I got there. He answered any questions I had, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Stephen in finance did amazing!! Made sure all my questions were answered and got me on my way fairly quickly.
I purchased a VW Atlas from Park Place, even though I live up in St Paul. I test drove an Atlas the year before, and loved it. I had been watching online for good deals for a while, and a great deal came up at Park Place. I reached out & was contacted by Demetrius Johnson (DJ) who did a great job. He was friendly, courteous, and made the process very easy. They beat my pre-approved rate from my credit union, and delivered the car to my home. I also had an issue with a damaged key fob & a paint chip, and the dealership promptly fixed both of those issues at no cost. Im very happy with the whole process!
I’ve always had a shady feeling about the service center at Park Place because I’d bring my car in and a couple days later, it would seem like I have another “unrelated” problem. I’ve heard so many stories about people getting cheated here from the mechanics intentionally unplugging minor things or trying to basically up-sell you everything. I was so disappointed when I brought my car in a while back, paid thousands to get it fixed, only to have another issue “pop up” and I know for a fact that it’s not my driving because it was near the beginning of COVID so I dropped my car off, drove it home, and left it parked in the garage for a couple days and of course I get in my car and the service engine light is on or the car is making a weird noise now or something else is wrong. I’ve had family and friends bring their cars here as well and they have personally experienced mechanic mistakes or their shady behavior too. I cannot trust this place to service my car or anyone else’s that I know. It’s really sad that customers can’t feel like they can trust mechanics or auto shops for this very reason. There is no transparency here.
First time at this dealership as it is a bit further from where we live (Lakeville). However, Jason Newton was quick to assist us with the vehicle we were coming to view. He was very courteous and helpful in expediting everything from the test drive, the follow-up, and facilitating the vehicle purchase at the end of the day.Jason was incredible to work with. He was very helpful and considerate of our kids (chairs, snacks, etc.) and exhibited the utmost level of helpfulness and hospitality. We will definitely recommend our friends and family to him the next time they are in the market for a new or used vehicle within the Luther network of cars.Lisa finalized the sales process with us. Unlike some that weve dealt with in the past (at other dealerships), Lisa was outstanding. No pressure, no frills, and was terrific in explaining all of the costs and fees to us. As a matter of fact, she was able to obtain an even more favorable interest rate from a competitive credit union that we proceeded to use for the auto loan. No hassle, no frills, and transparent in the available optional add-ons.Overall, solid 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back and recommend others! Well worth the drive down from the Twin Cities surrounding area.
Perhaps most would have a good experience if they bought a new car. It appears that those who buy a used car have a similar experience. I bought a 2010 Tiguan “as is.” However, they gave me 5 days to return the vehicle for any reason. When I drove it home it smelled hot. I took it back to the dealership within the 5 days. They looked at it and told me the problem was the brakes and rotors. They said they fixed it, but upon returning home the hot smell persisted. I called the dealership 3 times. They told me they’d call me back every time. They never did. I finally took it to my mechanic. He found that oil was pooling in my engine. He said the dealership would have been aware of this when I purchased the vehicle. The repairs were $1800. For what it’s worth— Terry, the sales manager, was dishonest with me.
One of the worst car buying experiences in my 56 years on this planet. Scheduled an appointment and drove 2.5 hours round trip during COVID on a 90+ degree day to test drive a 2018 Maxima with supposedly 4,000 miles on it. When I arrived, I was informed that the sales team new the AC was not working in car, it was extremely dirty inside and out and now had ~6,500 miles on it (explanation - a salesman was currently using it as their demo vehicle). In the trunk, there was a quart of paint and vinyl lunch cooler with 3 almost empty beer bottles! Their answer it is what it is. Stay clear of this place - so many other dealerships that are actually professional (and sober)!
No pressure sales, in and out quickly, I recommend Paul Beltcher
The sale manager had a bad attitude, the sales man was really nice. All what I asked if he has whole sale cars but his response was unprofessional and he need to take some customer service classes so he can go back to the track. The other manager was trying to fix it but I decided to walk away. If there is zero star I will give it instead of 1 star. Highly unrecommended.
Had airbag warranty done and it was very quick, efficient and easy. Thanks.
On December 28th, my check engine light came on, so I checked the code which was a P0301 indicating that cylinder number 1 is experiencing misfires. This happened after a hard start in the cold. On December 29th, I took it into Park Place for service since it was still under warranty. On the drive over to the dealership, my check engine light turned off, which means the issue was resolved. However, they still wanted to check the car. MAC MILLER calls me later the next day saying I had a bad spark plug. Its gap reading was 0.9mm instead of 0.8mm and wanted to charge me $460 to replace it. Spark plugs are not covered under warranty. I told him no, and was still charged $155 for a diagnosis. That same day, I go and buy a new spark plug and ignition coil for roughly $30. I switched them both out in roughly 20 minutes and noticed that there were no markings on the existing ignition coil - indicating it was never removed and checked in the first place. If you look up this issue on my VW, youll notice that the ignition coil is typically the issue and IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. I am 100% confident they never took off my existing coil to check my spark plug. It is entirely obvious that Mac Miller was going to charge me $460 for the spark plug replacement WHILE ALSO trying to get that same money from the warranty into VW for the bad coil. Never going back here for service again and highly recommend you take your vehicles elsewhere.
Best BMW dealership in MN! Amazing customer service from start to finish. Thank you, Brad and Brandon! I LOVE my X5 and highly recommend Park Place Motors.
Terrible customer service with agent Chris. The cost for labor was higher than what agent sent to me in a text. When I called Chris to address this matter he would not provide an appropriate response for the difference in price. In addition, no one at service was available to review my billing with me when I picked up the vehicle. Will not return to Park Place Motors in Rochester again with this personnel working in service.
Ive purchased 2 Audis from Park Place and also bring my BMW to them for service. I continue to be impressed by their customer service, especially from Brad their GM and Josh and Kevin in service. They always go out of their way to accommodate my needs and schedule. Most recently they were able to get my car in for service with less than 36 hrs notice while the dealer I purchased it from told me it would be 2.5 weeks! This is just one example of many where they have gone above and beyond what most dealers would do. Thank you Park Place!
We asked the manager Tony question regarding used vehicle and his answer was very disrespectful and I am disappointed with this way for answering question not professional at all. Never come back here end the story.
Customer oriented, friendly and knowledgeable. Ive always had a great experience with this dealership
I owned a a4 audi the car had issues the was under warranty at the time they said someone stole my catalytic converter and replaced it with another converter long story short they will not cover any warranty work... I would not recomend them or buy a audi again.... they are so money driven hungry they want to charge for stuff other dealerships wont... like they want 20$ just for a paint code i called the dealer in the citys and they do it for free dont go to this dealership
Love this place! Staff is friendly, detail oriented and very efficient. Well after the sale, you are still treated like family:)
Great experience today when I brought my Audi in. Josh K took good care of the car. I was amazed to see that they washed the car and cleaned the interior after servicing the airbags. You don’t see that with many dealers.
Was lied to nonstop from service mechanic. Then they couldn’t find my vehicle for multiple days.
Very good! Jeffrey Bradshaw knows VWs very well.
I have been extremely pleased with Park Place. I had my A5 serviced several times and every time it was a solid experience. I have since trade the two door A5 for a more family oriented vehicle. My new vehicle is not an Audi and the local service provider is not nearly as enjoyable as Park Place. You really dont know how good you have it until its gone. Thanks for a great experience Joshua.
Recently purchased a vehicle from Park Place Motors and we had the privilege of working with Paul Betcher. We purchased the vehicle from out-of-state and Pauls professionalism, attention to detail and overall communication during the entire purchasing process was top-notch! Paul Betcher is a master of his skill set and I would recommend contacting him directly for all your future vehicle purchasing needs.
The process was smooth, they have been friendly explaining everything in detail. Sam the sales consultant helped me out all the way through, I got my car and I am happy with it. Thanks to Sam,Tony and Park Place BMW .
We bought a used Acura, in January 2019, for a fair price. It was missing a key fob so they had to take the car to an actual Acura dealer north of Rochester. Paid for the car and didn’t actually get the car and the new fob until like 3-5 days later, can’t remember exactly. They racked up around 200+ miles on the odometer the process. It had tinted windows when we bought. Salesman said they’d remove it for free if law enforcement hassled us for it. We ended up getting hassled for it. Then it was a pretty drawn out process to actually get it removed. They only wanted to take it off the front two windows when Minnesota law states that passenger CARS are not allowed to have less than 50% on any window. Claimed they didn’t have enough time to remove all but ended up getting four windows done and they left the back. Told us we could come back at a later date to get the back one removed. Overall it just really wasn’t worth the time. We like the car, just super underwhelmed with the service. I mean this is a good place if you got time and money but if you don’t, I’d go somewhere else.
Great staff. Great service
We drove over 3 hours to trade in our truck for a crossover SUV because it would work better for our family. We new exactly what vehicle we wanted and thought it would be a quick in and out. After we test drove, we told them we would take the new vehicle if we could make a deal on the trade. Their top mechanic test drove our 2013 RAM and came back to tell us the 4 wheel drive didnt work. We have NEVER had a problem with this in the past. My husband took the guy for a ride into a snow covered parking lot and showed him how to work the 4 wheel drive. Really?!? Your top mechanic?!? They low ball offered our trade and told us it was in good condition on Kelly blue book. Only issue was it was in a minor accident. When they printed off the KBB paperwork for us to look at, they only had the fair prices listed. They told us they werent going to budge on the trade and then we eventually got $1000 more for it. We still lost our butts, but after driving so far and looking for months, we just wanted the deal done and to go home. We then had to sit around for an additional two hours getting paperwork taken care of. They were so slow. We were there for a total of 4 hours when it should have been an hour and a half. They have decent prices on vehicles, but for a high end dealerships we figured we would be treated better and have them be more professional.
I just want to publicly say ‘Thank You’ to the service department. I recently purchased my second vehicle from them and they have gone above and beyond in helping me resolve what turned out to be a minor issue. I was able to get in and out, but utilized their shuttle service as well while there. I came in as scheduled and asked if they could help me out with a couple other things not noted on my service ticket. They graciously took care of everything I asked for, I love my car and would highly recommend using their service department to anyone else who wants competent, quality service with all the amenities you need or want.In addition, if you are looking for a quality car without the pressure of insincere and rushed sales pitches, this is the place to go!
Dealer thinks he’s above the law.
Staff all very friendly. However, our salesman (Brandon) really put us off. He offered to have cars delivered from other Park Place locations from the twin cities, but did not show for it. I went in to follow up with my selection to have it delivered, he was with another client while I waited 45min. Others asked him to take me off his hands but he refused. I ended up driving to the cities and making my purchase out there with another dealership who provided excellent service. Even after not seeing him, he never called to follow up.
Purchased a vehicle which normally had certain features, but discovered after I drove it home it didnt have some of the usual features. They agreed to include, without charge to me, a service/warranty package, which would have been an added expense, to compensate me, as the manager said he wanted me to be a satisfied customer. However, although it was promised they would take care of it and mail me the paperwork, I have never received it and the manager would not take my calls or return numerous messages left and emails sent. The purchase experience was fine, the follow up service was terrible as they did not honor their offer to include the service/warranty package and did not respond to my many calls and emails regarding it.
Took my car in for regular maintenance to and Josh Kern and his assistant Chris Leitz and they were great to work with, knowledgeable and very professional. i will for sure be returning for my vehicles needs
Brad Johnson and his team backed their promises. They went beyond for me. I would reccomend park place to anyone, after leaving there today.Edit* we searched for a car for our daughters 16th B-day. Park place helped us out once again. I cant believe how great this place is! Thanks to everyone! Terry, Steven, Demetrius, Almin, Brad, and everyone else. You all helped make her day!!!The car is spotless. They seem to put new tires on the entire lot! They treated this used audi sale as if it was new. They were safe for covid also.
James Taylor, what a horrible human being. I would call you a snake but it would be offensive to snakes everywhere. Sam Castelli was amazing, nice guy. Told me one thing and then presented something else wasting everyones time. If you value your time go somewhere else. I warned you.
Unbeatable customer services and the repair shop is by far the most clean and organized place Ive ever been in. Thanks for the great care!
Service is amazing and fast. I purchased my car there and really happy with it!
Excellent team. Didnt make you feel pressured to make a purchase and willing to work with you to make sure you check all the boxes.
Do not bring a trade in! They will only give you 10% of your KBB price... I have brought them multiple cars and its always the same.
Ron was great to us! He got us into the car we wanted at a great price!
Park place motors has been absolutely fantastic since I bought my Audi, always have been pleased with going there getting my car fixed . Took my car in thinking it was timing issues just to find out it was a bad broken coil, they replaced all coils and plugs and even gave my car a super nice wash and wax . Josh is fantastic in the service department!!!
Efficient service and ended up with car washed as a complentary service
Park place provided outstanding customer service. Great pricing.
Great service. Jeff Bradshaw always goes the extra mile for us! Thank you Jeff!
Ashwin and staff were great to work with - there was an issue with the new used car I purchased and they worked to get it fixed in a timely manner. The drive from La Crosse was worth it!
Very Rude and extremely unprofessional will never buy a vehicle here or have them work on anything. Do not use this dealership for any services
I had a horrible experience at another Luther Auto VW dealership in the cities so I called down to Park Place VW. I shared my experience with Elliott who would end up being my sales guy. I was in need of two identical vehicles for a fleet need and they had one in stock. Within half of a day Elliott and the new car sales manager James had located the second vehicle I needed and were willing to go get it for me.I drove the 1hr 20 min drive down there from the Metro the next day and worked out the broad strokes of everything with James and Elliott and was introduced to their finance manager Tony. Tony was able to set us up with a good deal on an interior protection package and even set us up with Luther Auto’s graphic design manager since I needed exterior graphics and vehicle wraps done. The graphic team gave us a competitive quote for the graphics we were going to need anyway and James was able to save me more money on the vehicles than I would have paid for them in the Metro.I made one additional trip down to Rochester to inspect both cars once the second one arrived and to fill out all the paperwork. Park Place VW is going to have the vehicle transported to the graphic shop for me saving me A LOT of time and hassle in trying to get 2 vehicles in for graphics. After the graphics are done, the shop will do the 3M interior treatment, detail them and give me a call when all is finished. I can literally put the vehicles into service that day – a wonderful time-saver for me and OUTSTANDING customer service on Park Place’s part. I will gladly send anyone who is in need of a VW, Audi or BMW to these guys. It’s well worth the trip out of the cities!!PS: Elliott, being newer to auto sales, is funny, approachable and knowledgeable about the brands and vehicles he represents. Ask for him - youll be happy you did!
Told them exactly what my problem was when I dropped the car off. Got a call a few hours later for the quote and I told them that was too much but when I went to pick up the car the charged me some $200 for the labor anyways and said the parts to fix it would be $65. No. My sunroof hoses are disconnected and are leaking into the ceiling of my car a little silicone will fix it once you drop the ceiling panel. I do not recommend this service department.
Friendly staff and helpful.
Superb service. Kevin is outstanding.
Cant wait to drive!
Appointment took a little longer than planned, but got problems solved. Exceeded my expectations.
Service department is rude and unprofessional. They treat you like trash! Beware, stay away. Take your car somewhere else.
Ron has been great to work with!
Helped me work out a major repair issue on an Audi that recently went out of warranty
Always ready to serve and to satisfy.
Great service.
Just dropped a car off
Customer service on part department is disappointing.
