Very helpful workers. Even though Ive only been a handful of times, the help here is amazing

When you go there for the experience you expect alot more when your spending alot of cash to make someones birthday special. My niece was making a bear and got embarrassed to sing the song, so the girl didnt even try. When we went bk around to make another bear the 2nd girl did sing and my niece was happy. Wish the fist girl made my nieces experience alot more special.

Business hours are posted for Saturday from 11:00-7:30. It is 11:16 am and store is still closed with employee waiting outside. Customers have left. Management needs to be more responsible...

I love this store. The store is super clean and the employees were super friendly and helpful. The lady who helped me was so sweet to my son. She really made the experience special. I love all of the options and unique things that you can get for your stuffed animal. Plus, the quality of the store and merchandise is just so great. I highly recommend coming here for gifts for loved ones (both young and young at heart). :-)

Great people! I think we were there during training for the holiday season coming up.... Glad to see that some people ACTUALLY train and teach others .... I liked this place. My kids had a good time too

Brought my daughter and she picked a my Little pony character. She still loves this thing, but I still remember the cost! Its definitely something you want to do once, but no more. Super cute 😁

I waited for 6 hours for the pay your age event today. The poor employees got physically/verbally attacked by savages, opened at 7am, and still gave us kind service with a smile, even goofed around with us in line. I have to say they truly had all the right employees today. I am so grateful for their generosity and their above and beyond customer service! Thank you guys! ♡

A great gift for a child! Though this place can get rather expensive, it is a special experience for a child to create their own animal. I got my daughter a gift card for Christmas and though her item cost well over $50, her unicorn will be cherished for years. I love that there are more animals, other than bears, to choose from. And there are TONS of clothing and accessories to pick from. We spent just under 1 hour at the store, and I had loads of fun watching her create her ultimate stuffed unicorn.I wouldnt say this is a place to visit often, due to the high prices, but makes a great gift (gift card), especially if it is a childs first time visiting the store.

Grandsons 1st birthday. We had a blast. The man working there was really kind and patient.

The Build-A-Bear Workshop store at Disneyland Downtown in Anaheim is awesome. Just dont like the strict security check that Disneyland management impose the Giant Scanner and Security Guard check your belonging. In my opinion, The old Disneylands image is GONE. Its no longer Fun Place to go. My kids keep asking me why they check our stuffs and scan you (parent) through the giant Scanner machine. Its more like a air port place where you travel now so expect delay and long wait if you want to visit Disneyland stores. They even raise the price and change their Parking in Disneyland Downtown, first 15 minutes free, after that about $12 an hour. You only allow 1 stamp if you shop at any Disney Downtown stores and max free 2 hour parking only. Its a Rush in-out shopping with no time to enjoy. If you dine in ANY of the restaurant there, you can earn max 4 hours parking but expect very long waits before you can enjoy your meal. We will not visit the place again as too much times wasted.

I like this place a lot too much for a grown adult. My husband and I really like making and dressing the little bears, what can we say its fun.

Amazing place to be. The little ones can really have an imagination with the stuffed animals especially when they dress them.

First, Id like to point out that John vus review and photos are for build-a-bear anaheim. Buildabear is a chain store that offers unique experience of building your plush pal. You get to pick sound effects with ranges including popular characters from Star Wars, or you can even record your own. This, I wish they would provide a soundproof booth, because of mall ambience and the stuffing machine were so loud, they let me record in the employees restroom.You also get to choose scents, whether you want a heartbeat, and you get to do a ritual heart wish before the stuffing. Purchasing in store you get to smell test the scents first, and also decide how cuddly or super stuff the plush will be. There are dressing stations for your new friend, and several computers to create the birth certificate. It will print out at the check out counter. I hope they would put stools in the future, because the computers are low, for about a childs height, an adult will have to squat or be on their knees. It can be uncomfortable if youre still making up your mind what your plushs name would be or a special date for its birthday.Overall, my trips have been pleasant, the sales associates are nice and helpful, I would say this particular store has about 90% of what its online store has to offer. To avoid disappointment, find out if the plush, outfit or accessories you want is available in stores or are online exclusives, like Pokemon online exclusive bundles. I saw a young couple was upset over this.They also have birthday parties, on one of my trips I get to see one.They have really good deals from time to time, like buy one and get the next one for ten dollars and so on.

Always a fun stop. Expensive so you cant go all that often.
