Found the O2 sensor at 20% less here than the usual auto parts stores.

Came in to get my oil changed and breaks checked. They said I needed new rotors. I stupidly said yes..paid 400 bucks, okay..whatever. 3 days later. Car is not driving well. I take it back, they said it was ABS issues (wasnt) but they wouldnt budge. Car sat in shop for 4 days. Was not touched because they need a master tech to diagnose the problem. so it would of sat for almost a week. I pulled it out and took it to Brake Masters and they found the problem within the hour. Guess what? Not an ABS problem. Pep boys are nothing but Con Artist.

The Pep Boys Parts and Accessories store has closed at this location. All fixtures and inventory have been removed. Window signage indicates that a new parts and accessories store may take over the space under a different name.The Pep Boys Auto Repair Service appears to be continuing operation out of the existing service bays.

Went in for vehicle inspection,took me a few minutes to shop around for items I needed,store was clean stocked nice n neat,20 min later I was headed home,great service thanks pep boys,I know they can get busy and might have a lil wait but they dont mean to ignore any customers.

Ordered my tires online, waited a week, then went to pick them up only to be told I have to pay for them online first. I had my order confirmation email and pick up confirmation. Called customer service...they told me I have to pay in store. In addition, the customer service rep was rude and had a deal with it attitude. I explained the situation to him and he just would say So whats your question? Such a flawed experience.Update: I reached out as they said bellow and guess what? They havnt emailed me back or anything.

Today I had a 2:00 appointment, just a routine oil change...waited an hour and finally went to ask about the wait...Robert stated my appointment time just got me in the building and they are going to have to make it clear to all customers that the appointment made doesnt guarantee when you get taken care of. AMD that it would be another 45 minutes.Maybe they should slow down their booking if they cant accommodate their schedules.I most definitely will be taking my business elsewhere.

Came in today and got the item I thought I needed quickly, checked out fast too but the part ended up being the wrong one for my car. Came back within the same hour with my receipt and was able to get a refund, no hassle, which was a nice change but I wouldve appreciated better help the first time as to avoid the whole unnecessary process.

The experience was average. My issue was with this one customer who was searching through the nuts and bolts. He was coughing frequently, and his mask remained below his mouth the entire time. Employees passed by him and said nothing.

Horrible experience! First and last for sure. Made an appointment for an oil change and they told me they were also including tire rotation. They told me they would take between an hour and an hour an a half, no problem, i asked them to call me the minute they got done. I waited at the lobby and i notice that after 20 minutes they took my car out. I was concerned because i was watching them the whole time and i never saw them touching any of the tires. I waited about another 20 minutes, i figured if theyre done they wouldve called me already but no!! I went back to the front desk and spoke with Esteban, I asked if they were done with my vehicle because they never touched the tires. He started reviewing my paperwork and he said they hadnt done the rotation because i needed new tires. He said to me we can still do the rotation if u like?? I told him to go ahead and do it and he said no problem, please wait a few more minutes. Went back to the lobby and after another 40 minutes they never moved my vehicle from the parking lot. Went back to the Service desk and Esteban said oh i just spoke with the mechanic and he said the tires are really bad, and doesnt recommend to do the rotation. By then i was frustrated, they shouldve told me right away. Instead i was just waiting there like an idiot. When i was paying for the oil change I asked if i could inspect the oil change?? Esteban walked me over to my car and the oil looked okay. This was my first and last time with Pep Boys!!! I dont trust this place.This place is a joke!

The Manager Tommy went above and beyond to find a tinkering sound rear of my vehicle.Allowing me to watch, he found that it was a loose bolt. He tighten it and sent me on my way - no charge - and under 30 minutes. Honesty and dedication is here if thats what youre looking for. I will be back for more quality service. Thank you again sir. Its a big store and they have a service spot to where they do tires etc. But when I was there I didnt receive any help when I was looking for what I needed and none of the workers asked me if I needed help with something.

I changed my cabin air filter one weekend, took my car in for an oil change here the next, and they recommended me to change my cabin air filter again. Probably wouldn’t trust them with any sort of major work suggestion.I also had at least two occasions over the course of coming here where I made an appointment and they said they couldn’t honor it when I showed up.1 extra star for having generally cool dudes working the service desk (probably not their fault).

Once I was able to find an attendant to assist me, the process became smooth and went quickly. The woman that assisted me with finding my part in their system was efficient and friendly. The cashier was friendly and had a fun personality.

The worker at the front desk for the sevice department was really helpful with prices and the issues with my car and very affordable prices. The workers name was Jesus. I came in for an oil change and he notified me about my air filters and showed me the filters with great prices for new ones. I also didn’t have the coupon for the oil change but he was already prepared and had that ready for me.

Pep Boys is a decent auto parts store. The customer service was adequate. I wouldnt go out of my way, but if I was in the, theyd work.

I came here one evening after work on my way home when I noticed the air pressure was getting lower an lower.I initially went to a gas station and tried to find if I ran a nail over but I couldnt find anything. I attempted to put air in it but it wouldnt work.So I googled tire places and just my luck, they were all closed except for Pep Boys. I came in and spoke to the gentleman at the service desk and he looked up my tire size to make sure they had it in stock but recommended his technician check to see if they can patch it first.Luckily, it was just a nail and they were able to patch it. At no charge, even. I was there for about 15 min and drove off without having to pay a dime. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

Very bad service. It took day and a half for the basic oil changes. After the oil change, transmission oil was leaking because of wrong gaskit. Do not go the Pepboys.

Super customer service, very friendly & no hard sell. Great price with coupons for oil change, filter, with their free fluid top off, and tire rotation. The reason for four stars is the restroom. Couldnt even get the key out of the door before using, and the seat protecters wouldnt come out and were everywhere on the floor.

Quick to get our parts and friendly service. Been coming for four years and it is great. The one star missing was for the service side a long story short, never got the service I wanted do to being tired of sitting around for two hours.

Stay away from this auto repair shop. I went in on a Sunday, due to no other mechanic shops being open on that day, for a spark plug and cable replacement. I paid $364. After getting the spark plugs replaced, my truck started making loud ticking noises. I opened the hood of the truck, and found one of the cables not plugged in on the spark plug.(The cable was bunt from the spark plug hitting the side of the cable) I plugged it in and after that the ticking noise went away. I drove the truck for two weeks after that and noticed my MPG dropped drastically and on the the third week, my truck engine started misfiring and the check engine light turned on from misfiring. Before I took my truck to this shop, my truck was running good with no problems.

Oil change was $25, they rotated my tires and topped off other fluids for free. Great deal, not sure why it was $10 off im sure i cant expect this every time but they just hooked me up, great customer service.

Yes I love the the Boys! And the Girls...Antonia the manager is fantastic, Shawn, Edgar and the rest in auto repair cant be beat. But...Pep Boys needs to iron out the wrinkles in their pep boys credit card and then the place would be perfect!!!

Called and asked pepboys if they had time to do an alignment. They said, Sure! Bring it on down and we will take care of it for you, not a problem. Oh, you have a coupon? Awesome make sure to bring it with you so we can give you a discount. After driving all the way down there, and standing in a long line for 20 minutes because they only have one service writer for a store full of people, I give them my key and hear Oh. Its a BMW? Yeah, sorry. We dont have the tool to do that. Which I know is BS because I am a certified BMW technician, and I know it is possible to do it without the tool. I just dont have access to a machine, so I brought it here. They are just lazy and incompetent. I guess what do you expect, taking a BMW to pep boys, right? There was also another gentleman trying to return something that was extremely frustrated. I felt bad for the poor guy. Do yourselves a favor and take your car to Performance Auto Care on Pierce and Magnolia, Firestone on Magnolia, or Goodyear on Tyler. They actually want your business and wont be rude or waste your time.

I just needed an air filter. When I came into the store there were two employees stocking the shelves about 10 feet from where I was searching. Neither of them bothered to ask me if I could use some help. Then when I found the filter that I needed, I had to wait about 5 minutes until someone came to the checkout to ring my purchase up.

I had my wife go there a few times last year and early this year. Service was amazing however the last few times I sent her to get service it seems nobody could figure out what was wrong with the car. The only reason we kept going to that location is because my wife works across the street. When I asked one of the mechanics in the back where the guy that usually works on my wifes car went to I was told he was fired for pointing out that the service manager was stealing from the company. Thats a shame considering that he was the only mechanic that knew what he was doing there. For obvious reasons i was not told where the mechanic went to but I was told its here in riverside somewhere. Until this shop can understand how good business works and get that mechanic back, or at least hire someone that knows what they are doing, my wife and I will not be returning. And I urge anyone looking for a quality mechanic for a very competitive price to try Plaza automotive on Indiana or firestone off of hole. And when i find that mechanic I will let everyone know where to go. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND MORE MONEY FIXING YOUR CAR RIGHT THE SECOND TIME

I called to get a quote on 2 tires for a family members vehicle that was visiting from out if town, Shawn was asking a number of questions having us feel very confident that he was very knowledgeable in his job. He recommended the Falcon 80,000 mileage warranty although he shared that they have a special right now purchase 3 receive the 4th for free. I asked is it a rebate oh no its instant I dont like waiting for those rebates in the mail, he says. I also inquired about the cost of an alignment again he gives us information about a coupon you can get on your phone for $49.99! Even better were thinking so I ask if he has any appointments for tomorrow and unfortunately he does not and he shares that 2 of his technicians had already called off for Sunday! I said Awe, too bad you couldnt call a temp service for 2 technicians just to cover for tomorrow but Thank you! Shawn then says well if you bring your car in morning and drop it off I can work it in since we close at 6pm, Perfect! My sister will have new tires that can handle the desert heat and hot asphalt on her way home! We end the conversation with well be there at 8:30 in the morning!Well we arrive at the shop before it opens and theres about 9 of outside waiting no problem right.....WRONG!!! Once they open the doors and start checking in the customers with appointments Junior shouts out an announcement IF YOU DONT ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY WE CANT HELP YOU! So I respond excuse me I spoke to Shawn yesterday afternoon and he said even though you have 2 people that called off for today if we drop of the vehicle youll still be able to work us in, Junior once again makes the same announcement. Blah, Blah, Blah! It would if be nice to hear, Im so sorry for the inconvenience or Let me see if one of our other stores can assist you instead we only received IF YOU DONT ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY WE CANT HELP YOU! I like the wide selection here over the little auto parts stores. Be aware they close at 8pm so get there early.

Needed an oil change so went to this location, brought my car home and the next morning there was oil on my driveway which I didnt have before. Took my car back the next day and they said its all ok no leaks, this morning there was more oil. Basically When you do an oil change you drain the pan and lines very carefully, then you remove the filter and replace make sure its snug, put everything back on then fill there shouldnt be any oil on the car anywhere if done properly. Im elderly but I will need to crawl under my car myself to make sure everything is tight. I do not recommend Pep Boys and I am going to contact corporate to fill my complaint.Unsatisfied customer-0 stars

The old man working the back counter was very helpful finding the oil change specials for my Dodge Charger. I went in for a Lyft vehicle inspection. I was able to be in and out in 20 minutes.

Scheduled tires and service on Sunday afternoon for the next day. Went in on Monday at scheduled time, and the staff seemed confused but reassured me everything was fine. I waited for 2 hours about 15 feet away from the service desk to be told that they didnt actually have the tires and to come back 4 hours later when Id be at work. No apology. No offer for a discount. Fortunately for me, Goodyear on Magnolia a block away was able to help and replace the tires withon 45 minutes. Gladly paid more money to not deal with the horrible service at Pep Boys. Go to Goodyear.

Pep Boys Automotive is a nice parts store and service center. I would like to see more automotive stuff and less gimmick stuff, like razor scooters and the like. But a good reliable place to shop none the less.

Awful. I lost a tire coming to Riverside from out of state. Damage to car. My husband works in insurance and in our state, Pep Boys has good reputation. So, he called to see if they could get me in. My husband talked to Sean, who said they would get me in quickly and I was to ask for him. I arrived I was told Sean was busy, and I would have to leave my car for several days and they couldnt get me in. He wouldnt get Sean for me, nor would he honor what we were told.He wouldnt accept my explanation of what was wrong with the car. I could immediately see I was being beefed up for a large bill. The irony is, if you look on their website, it promises same day service! I went down the street to Allens Tire and received kind, honest, compassionate service with great prices.

Excellent service showed me what was wrong with my tires recommended I didnt get the service I came in for until I fixed my tire issue I wanted to go do price comparsons at other places and they didnt charge me for looking at it just told me they will beat anyone by 5 percent. Ryan was extremely honest and helpful. Only reason for four is the tires they have seem pricey but I guess thats everywhere.

Amazing service! Im on a tight budget, and I had a tire blow out. They took the time to help me find the right tire to fit my budget and got be back in the road in less then an hour. They also found that I had lost a gasket on my oil drain plug and replaced it for free! I have nothing but gratitude and thanks for their help.

I was there for a lyft class. But the worker there was very helpful with my class location. I watch them be very helpful with a woman how needed tires installed on an SUV. That got her set very fast she needed to be at work.

The service was great but they forgot to give me my coupon discount. I went back and they corrected the error immediately and refunded my money.

Looking for a car part off an old 1940 Ford flathead couldnt find it so its all good though they got great 10 theyre old-fashioned tin signs are neat

I was having an issue w/ my tires low on air. It was about 6pm. I pulled in and this wonderful young man checked/aired all my tires and said to come back in when I had time to check for a leak, just in case.I WILL BE BACK! Simple kindness was GREATLY appreciated. PEPBOYS once again proved they are DaBomb when it comes to customer service!!

This store is always helpful. As a women walking in they are helpful they answer questions and guide you in the right directions. The lyft people are always willing to help. The store is clean and organized. I only go to this pep boys and its 30 mins from my house.

Never do a oil change at pep boys. Pep boys used to be a good but not anymore. They make you wait 3 and half hour for a oil change and charge you more than what you normally pay for.

They are nice went their to get inspection and even though I might ask redundant Questions They still laugh kidding no their nice. It was hot so I understand but at least I got a smile. Thanks PB.

I stopped by late at night when my car battery died. They stayed after hours to make sure I get the right battery for my car. Rare to find people willing to go above and beyond to help!

The place is pretty good as far as quality of work, but time wise they are the worst. I’ve gone to many other pep boys and they have me in and out in less than an hour. Here I’m here for over an hour, sometimes two. I’ve peaked inside the place and I see a lot of guys just standing around. Don’t know if there is a reason for that but it looks really bad. I’ve canceled several appointments in the past few days just because of the estimated wait time. But they didn’t call any of the times to tell me that there would be that long of a wait while at other pep boys they did. Overall, good quality of work but you’ll have to wait forever to get it done, no matter the day.
