Our house had to go through mold remediation. One of the scope of work was to get the HVAC vents cleaned & sanitized. I received quotes from 2 other companies recommended by the mold remediation company. I researched other companies to compare rates, reviews & expertise. I decided to go with RKM. The owner responded to my Google text right away. He was very knowledgeable and provided me options that allowed me to select what is most appropriate service that is necessary. I appreciate the fast response via Google business text messaging. It was convenient & efficient. The guys that did the work were personable and professional. I needed good documentation since the mold was a failed disclosure by the seller. They made sure to take lots of pictures. And top it off, they have fair and competitive pricing. RKM installed our HVAC system 5 years ago (including all new ducting). Their level of professionalism is quite rare. The system is remarkably efficient (it uses 25% less power than the one in our prior house despite having to heat/cool 1200 sq. ft. more space). Their service techs are knowledgeable, efficient and polite.

We contacted RKM about doing an AC replacement on a 17 year old AC Unit. They were very responsive. Robert came out on Monday 07/19/2021 and inspected our current unit and gave us three different options and gave us a detailed explanation of what each option covered. No pressure as to which one to choose. Price was reasonable considering the work that needed to be completed. We scheduled the installation with the receptionist for Friday 08/23/2021. They kept us updated via text and were very prompt. The installation was scheduled for 09:30 with actual installation time of 6 to 8 hours. The installers Omar and Anthony were very polite and courteous during the installation. Installation took around 7 hours and everything is going great. Very pleased with their excellent service, customer skills and workmanship. Were staying cool!

Dominique was my technician. He was pleasant and professional. He explained and showed me pictures to understand what service I needed. After the job was completed I talked to him how another service had told me twice I needed a bigger return but never came back to do the job. Dominique look at my return and went in the attic. Afterwards he showed me pictures why I could enlarge the existing return. We agreed that the best room would be the living room. He gave me a quote and said the office will call me with a date and time. Dominique is an excellent representative to the business.

RKM installed my central air conditioning system 5 years ago. Ive been using them every year since for routine maintenance and I have to say that they have always maintained a high level of professionalism. You can trust that you will receive top notch service from them.

I had them install a new air conditioner system in my home in Riverside Ca. On 3-30-2016, had they out many of times because the conditioner doesnt stay cool like the one they putted out. I ask them if the unit was big enough for the home. They said it was big enough for the SQF for this house. After they install it I told them that it was not blowing hard enough and was not cooling the house, then they the vents was the problem and we needed to get better vents so I got the vents and still didnt work. Then I needed to turn the vents closed in the rooms we were not using so we can get more air flow in the rooms we wanted cool. This told me that this air conditioner was not big enough to blow air into this house. Also past 5 years I had them come out to do Services to keep the warranty up. the last time they came out to do the service I was going to pay the 169.00 the Lady said I didnt have to pay until next service. She inform us we had elapsed on our membership. So we no longer have a lifetime warranty. The last time they came out to do a service they said air filter and fins on the unit was dirty they told this every time they came out for a service. As of right now the temperature out side gets to be 98 and up we set the air conditioner on 68 never cools below 74 so this is making the air conditioner to work harder and stay on all the time, they will not do anything to fix . This is hard for me because I have chronic COPD. Hotter it gets the harder for me to breath. I wish they fix the problem.

When my nine-year-old air conditioning system stopped cooling, I called the air conditioning service company that my builder used. Unfortunately, they were booked for over a week and the temperature outside was hot, hot, hot. The company recommended a website where othe A/C contractor companies were dispatched, and RKM scheduled an appointment the very next day, called as promised in the morning, came on time, and did the job professionally and courteously. The repairperson, Matthew, was friendly and explained the malfunction and a couple of options for fixing the problem and their one-year warranty, including a couple of free on-site checks for the heating and A/C. Everything was great, except for the two big screws left on the ground and a lighter that my small puppy picked up and was chewing on. Apparently it fell out of the repairpersons pocket. You will love this companys service, but if you have a pet, best to remind the person not to drop things that could be harmful.

I cant say enough positive things about RKM. Weve had them service our two systems in our home for several years and theyve always been responsive to our needs. In our first experience with them, they made a repair to our system when several other companies would only discuss replacing the entire system. This year, we decided it was time to replace both systems due to age. During an hour-long discussion, our needs and desires were fully listened to and a very reasonable quote was the result. The removal of the old systems and installation of the new has gone flawlessly, and the professionalism shown during the entire process was top notch. I have used RKM for my annual HVAC checkup and they are always friendly and professional. I also used them for a repair last year on a 100 degree plus summer day.While another company came out first (warning: that company was sent out by Home Depot), RKM made the repair for around $700. The other company tried to rip me off with a quote in the thousands.That makes RKM honest in addition to excellent.

I called a professional because my AC WASNT WORKING. Service was very overpriced but we were hot so I agreed to the price. He replaced 1 part and told me to go to walmart to buy filters because they needed to be changed as well. I had no idea how to change or install filters. I felt like a repair man should have had filters instead of me having to go and hire somebody else to replace the filters. I called because my AC needed to be fixed not for replacing 1 part. Part of fixing it required changing the filters. So we will not be calling them again.

Called RKM last week when I had another company come out a few days prior to inspect an on going AC issue. The company I had prior to reaching out to RKM had given me a suspicious diagnostic to my AC issue. I decide to get a second opinion so I did some research and came across RKM which had outstanding reviews and had a great business profile BBB etc...I’m glad I did because RKM was outstanding from the very first phone call that I made to them. The person that took my initial phone call was Alicia (I believe that’s her name) and she was wonderful at listening to my chief concerns and offering a sound solution. She was very prompt with scheduling me an appointment a few days out with numerous follow ups confirming the appointment leading into the consultation day.It was a great pleasure to have Richard arrive at my house and have such a very well experienced and true gentleman of his craft service my request. Richard was very knowledgeable and has an amazing attention to detail. Furthermore, his communication with his findings along the way was on point. His work was thorough, precise, and more importantly... honest! He answered all my questions and I loved the fact that he took pictures of the issues that needed repair and attached them a long with his assessment of the situation and sent to me via email.This sort of value and work ethic is hard to come by these days but RKM and Richard went above and beyond with exceptional service! I recently had a heater/wall mounted furnace units die on me, stranding my tenants without heat. I contacted several companies and the quickest to respond was RKM. They came out, assessed the unit, and felt like replacement was the best choice. Two days later they installed the new unit and it works incredibly well. Then, just this week, I had another heater go out. I called RKM and they had a technician at the residence THAT DAY! They are installing the new heater now, and I an sooooo thankful. They do great work!

RKM installed an air conditioning system about five months ago. When the weather warmed up the circulating fan came on and wasn’t turning off. They came out the next day after being notified and fixed the problem. The technician was friendly and stayed after normal work hours to solve the problem and there was no charge because it is still under warranty. I was pleased with the service.

RKM came to my rescue in the summer of 2020 when my air conditioner stopped working during a heat wave. They were able to locate a part for a 16 year old unit. As such, we decided at the end of 2020 to replace that old system. RKM (Bryan, Paul, and Julio) installed our new system in less than a day. They were courteous, professional, and kept us informed along the way. They used tarps and plastic to protect our belongings and floors. They cleaned up any mess they made. We have used RKM in years past and will continue to do so.

First group of guys that came out were really good and tried there best but Ron came back the following day and made sure everything was fixed correctly and saved the day.

Highly recommend RKM for heating and AC. They dont push you to into one band as most contractors do an provide very affordable systems. I got quotes from 4 contractors ranging from 18.5K to 11.5K. RKM provided the best value with new heater, AC, ducting, attic insulation and 10yr warranty on parts and service. Very professional and dont nickel & dime you when issues arise. 5 star operation even after it is installed. My neighbor got his system at the same time and paid 4k more, 3 years later his system broke down on a hot Saturday they told $100 for every 15 min for emergency service. What crooks the cheap pump the installed crapped out, charged $500 to install a better pump.

Ron was the technician who came to diagnose the issue with our airflow and he was able to detect it quickly we didn’t end up having to pay so much money to do unnecessary work. A voltage issue at SCEs pole outside my house caused some of my appliances to burn out, which included the electronic thermostat. It had been cold at night - down into the 20s and 30s - so I was eager to get it fixed.When I called RKM to diagnose the problem they were booked for a couple days but I made an appointment. The morning of the service call I received an auto-text telling me they were in route, and a phone call from the technician when he was about 20 minutes away. Ron showed up and was very professional, friendly, competent, clean, and respected my property. He determined the HVAC transformer had been burned out as well as the thermostat and promptly replaced it with a new one he had on his truck. Within a couple hours the furnace was working like new and the new thermostat Id purchased separately (off Amazon - Vine smart thermostat, wifi connected) was controlling it like a champ.Thanks again, Ron!

Great company but at the high end. They did great work at our American Legion post 328. Unfortunately it didn’t make since for me to pay that much at our age. We needed AC complete system including duck replacement.

Called RKM on Saturday morning and Ron was at my house 2 hours later. Explained the symptoms the AC was exhibiting and he instantly mentioned three possible problems (the same three I suspected). Diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes and it was the cheapest to repair. Checked out the whole system including the refrigerant level to make sure it was running in top shape. Offered maintenance plans, but was not pushy. Great experience overall and would recommend to friends and family.

Call to get a quote on service repairs and when I set my appointment up with Daniel it was not explained we would be charge $180 for someone to just show up! Then I was called by a Teresa to verify the appointment the next day when they broke the news to me, it would cost to get a repair quote.Definitely not cool, be upfront no surprise! Not trying to waste anyones time nor do I expect anything for free.

Ron did a great job replacing our whole house fan. Everything was very well communicated from the first contact all the way to the end.

If you need to be cool or warm, use RKM! After my 91 year old father broke 8 ribs and my mother her hip, we found out their AC unit wasnt working. Robert came out and explained, in terms I could understand, what would work for them. He made sure their air conditioning was fixed quickly and even found a county rebate we could apply for. Technician was efficient and thoroughly explained everything he was doing. The yearly maintenance contract is worth it. This time detected a failing capacitor. Otherwise the AC would probably have crashed at some point this summer.

My new Furnace and AC unit was installed July 10th. The job was delayed by 2 hours because the unit ordered was a 14 SEER but should have been a 16 SEER. After switching back to the correct unit, the workers were able to complete the work on same day. I really appreciate that James T. was my lead technician.Any well trained technician can do the same job and get it done on time. That’s nothing special because that is part of his job! However, I think James T. deserves a 5 star rating because went above and beyond his job description. He was polite & professional, and willing to help give me extra tips and tricks to extend the life of the unit.Before he left, he told me the office personnel will complete of registration form to manufacture within 30 days of installation and will email me a copy of registration form.James also confirmed one year free maintenance after the installation because my current maintenance agreement does not yet expire until Feb 12, 2020. This new free maintenance will extend to Feb. 12, 2021.If James can follow up on the registration and extension of maintenance as he promised, I would greatly appreciate, I also like to thank Beth as well she has been very helpful last week.

I used them for a furnace tuneup. I appreciated that they called me before the appointment to let me know the tech was on his way. I was very impressed with Matthew. He arrived on time and was professional and explained everything he was going to do. I signed up for the annual maintenance and will see them when it is time for my air conditioner checkup in May.

The crew was prompt, polite, and professional. Robert was friendly and answered all of our questions. It is clear that he cares about the quality of his work.

We just had our 2nd,19 year old A/C unit replaced by RKM. If you want an honest assessment and recommendation regarding your A/C with a firm that backs their work and all done at a fair price, then look no further. We have had other firms assess our anemic air flow in our 2nd floor bedrooms. RKM recommended a zone system which is a tremendous improvement. We had a booster fan installed by another company which did little to solve the problem. We also had another firm work on our first A/C which charged a rather exorbitant price to recharge the system only to have it all leak out within days even after the system was checked for leaks. Needles to say, RKM is now our go to A/C company because they have earned our trust.

RKM installed our new Maytag system this summer and we are extremely happy we chose them! Their customer servicing was outstanding! Marissa scheduled our same day appointment and was patient enough to answer all of our questions. Matthew was our technician and he was so knowledgeable and professional and he went the extra mile to get us what we needed at a great price! We were even impressed with the installation process. Installers showed up on time looked professional and did lots of extra work to make sure they kept our house clean by laying down tarps on their work area and wore booties over their shoes to keep our floors clean. After installation Matthew returned and even brought along the install manager Michael to look over all of the work to make sure it was done properly and that we were completely satisfied and happy with our purchase. And of course the best part is that our new high efficiency Maytag system work fantastic! We are sincerely grateful for all of the great work and service they performed for us! I am in the process of deciding whether I want to spend the money.

Replacing my heating & air conditioning system was NOT on my short list of favorite ways to spend my money. But after 10 years of unreliable performance from a previously replaced condenser and 20 years of decent performance from the furnace, it was time for a complete system change out. I knew it would be a big job when it was time, and I also knew that proper matching between the condenser, coil and furnace would give me better efficiency. Not to mention the improved technology over the past 10-20 years.From start to finish, my experience with the RKM team was amazing. Knowledgeable, kind, professional and hardworking, I highly recommend RKM for any system replacement job.When our system stopped working, I called RKM and they were at my home within a day. Matthew diagnosed our current system and clearly explained the options to help our decision-making process on the repair vs. replace scenarios. Since wed already done repairs on the condenser, and the furnace & coil were 20 years old, we decided it was time to stop wasting money on repairs.Getting ready for installation day was a snap with their stellar office staff and automated notifications.On installation day, James & Albert worked hard--even in what must have been 120+ degree conditions in the attic--yes, it was hot! By the end of the day, our home was cooling better than ever!Once the job was done, James clearly explained the new system and ongoing maintenance and reviewed all the work that was done.
