Just left here for the first time with a friend. On a Sunday afternoon It was not very crowded and looked like there were more staff there than patrons. The store is definitely not as big as it looks from the outside, though larger than most liquor stores in the general area, but while it was spacious inside, the selection was very lacking for me--not a great selection of local beers/craft beers--youre much better off going to your local Kroger for that, and I didnt find much else that I was looking for either. We had just been to the New South liquor store on the opposite side of 85 a ways down, and they honestly are a lot smaller but have a much, much better selection, and actually acknowledged us when we needed a little help finding something--what a world!Back at SouthSide we picked up a couple of small items so that we wouldnt leave without purchasing something because we want to support the local community as much as possible, especially now, and so we went to stand in line to make our purchases. There is a long line of cash registers along the wall, almost across the entire side of the building, and there was only one cashier who appeared to be working and she had a customer. After a short moment, another cashier barked the number of one of the registers at us. She wasnt even standing by it at the time and didnt look at us, so we really didnt hear or realize that she meant for us to go to that register. Since we didnt notice, she barked the number at us again. Cool. After we caught on, we went to the register to check out and the cashier was not wearing her mask properly (it was under her nose--honestly, why even wear it?), and she checked us out without a single word or honestly even looking at us. We both thanked her after our purchase (she still did not acknowledge or even look at us). WOW. We remained polite and exited the building to make our way to the parking lot, and when we got outside my friend and I immediately looked right at each other with honestly the same annoyed look on our faces and agreed on one thing--we wont be going back to SouthSide.

Had everything we were looking for very well stocked. Just move things around to much but would definitely return staff very nice and friendly

I am not no drinker but Im always taking someone there and they seem to gravitate to it. The place seems reasonable and really nice because it is very new not even a year old or maybe even six months really. Im sure they have good customer service or my friends wouldnt be visiting there. Ill have more information and pictures for you all whenever I do decide to go in there.

I always find what Im looking for and a few surprises along the way! This time I was able to support a black owned business by purchasing their product!

Well the place looks great from out side. I wanted to share my experience. I wanted to park my big rig so I could go across the street and have breakfast. They are remodeling looks like and there was ample space to park my rig. I asked the owner who was out side if I could and he was generous enough to let me.My experience was postive at this location and with owner. I can only imagine when they open up they will be the place to go. Thank you sir for the parking because it helped.

JUST left here. It’s beyond nice in the inside and everything is labeled correctly and easy to see. I got 4 bottles of Barcardi for $62. I will be coming here again very soon. Its a beautiful new store. This has been my store since I moved to Riverdale back in the 90s. The employees in there are so dull and boring though. They never smile or greet you with excitement. I go there for the convenience only. Loyal customers enabled them to build a beautiful new store. You would think the deserve a friendly face every now and then.

Gave them 3 chances after they reopened...Never ever again. I will increase my orders at Tower for my restaurant to include my household needs before I EVER patronize them again.Nice rebuild. Vulgar female worker cursing profusely at entrance while sweeping. Extremely rude faux security. I only went back the last time because the 1st cashier was personable, conversant, interactive yet not invasive during my purchase the week before. She should be a team trainer, but Ill never know because I have so many options I dont have to support local businesses black owned or not with bad customer service. Your prices arent better and your variety isnt exclusive and I can get the hood experience anywhere. You may not miss what you thought was my business but many make assumptions and miss gainful opportunities.

This is definitely the cleanest and best stocked liquor store in Riverdale. The employees are courteous and willing to ask questions rather than ring someone up and yell next before the previous customer leaves the counter, as the other stores in the area seem to do. I wont be visiting again! I went today and I was the only customer in the store and the security guard followed me around the store! One thing I dont need to do is steal because Im not interested in going to jail. I would refer people to the store but not after today!

I found it there the selection is fantabulous and the stuff is very helpful and knowledgeable I pass up liquor stores just to go there very satisfied 10 across the board very covid concious 🙂

You will have a pleasant experience.
