4th time using them each time terrible experience. At this point no longer wasting my time and money. I paid them to fix my car only the next morning it go breakdown, they came out and misdiagnosed it said my transmission was bad. I towed the car to aamco they diagnosed it as the same job king auto did but incorrectly. I called them to refund me they say they have warranty on their work so bring it back! No god! For them to mess it up just refund me the money!

Terrible service, terrible repairs, they use used parts, they used broken parts as well! My car needed the two lights in the front changed couldn’t even order the lights that the car came with, the paint job was horrible didn’t even do the wax afterwards, the alignment was nowhere. They never answer the phones and yell at you like you were in a fruit stand in the hood. They kept my car over two months saying it wasn’t ready because the parts hasn’t come in because of COVID. DONT Come here unless you want to get robbed in your face and come out with your car more broken than before

There Service is no good. My Car was there for 1 week and they kept saying different things was wrong with it and charging me Money and the Problem was Never Resolved. Even went to observe what was going on and they was Standing around talking or on the phone as if I wasnt there. I will Never go there again. Bad Service and I had to pay for nothing! My Husband sat up there 2day for 5hrs to see what was gonna be done .you all said yall was gonna lift the car up to see under it. Then you all said you did a test and it was something else yeah you all replaced tht and car still wasnt fix. So was my Husband suppose to stay there all day?????He done missed 5days of work and car still wasnt fixed. This makes Nonsense. I dont mind paying for the parts but you all still didnt figure out what was wrong. I was told a Diagnosis test was Already done so why did we need another one. Im Confused. But God Bless bcz God has the last say and People will Reap what they Sow. Different People saying different things about the Car.

Well first, I bought a car from a guy on fb. Beautiful car! But the same day I bought it I had a issue with it, check engine soon came on and it started to make this loud screaming noise. Took it to king and he diagnosed and told me exactly what the issue was. He said he’d order the part and could fix it for me. He got rid of the noise I was hearing and didn’t even charge me to put transmission fluid in it which it clearly needed!! King saved the day and I pray he can fix the air compressor and get my car in good shape like he said he would!! They were nice and he tended to my car literally as soon as I pulled up!! Very nice guy from what I can tell. I will be going back so he can do the work. Definitely plan to update this review after everything is done to let y’all know how it went. But so far so good. God bless him because I was so scared that I had bought a lemon, but he reassured me that it was still a good investment and I believe him. Iv read the reviews on here and some are good some are bad but I didn’t read the reviews until after I had already took my car to him. I’m not sure which king they experienced but the one I came across was literally as professional as he could have possibly been. Anyways tho like I said I’ll update this review and let y’all know how it goes! Hopefully the part and labor isn’t too much.

Nice staff, black owned, decent service... Got my car back within the time frame given which was very important being that i live out of state, however i asked for new parts and got used parts... Thankful to have my car up and running. Would be more satisfied if i got what i asked for...

This is a unprofessional company they will keep your car for months and Refuse to update you on any information dealing with the status on the car. I’ve went to this place multiple times to see if my car has yet to be worked on and it was still sitting up until a month before they started to work on my vehicle and now it’s the 3rd month my car is still in this shop today and isn’t finished ! DO NOT PUT YOUR CAR IN THIS SHOP

I came in with a what I thought was a simple repair. They fixed that problem and diagnosed my vehicle which ended up saving me thousands on transmission repair. Thank y’all so much. The staff is awesome too!!

Great great great work and experience and if the Damage Done to your car is a little more than what you have in your pocket to pay you can apply for a credit line for up to $1,000 and then only pay a minimum of $20 or more of your choice a month 4 getting your car fixed which is fantastic I never seen a mechanic shop that actually do that great work in finding my problem and fixing it

Was on our way home from Florida to Wisconsin and was having issues with the transmission. Had us in and out within 30 minutes and car is runnin like new. Couldnt reccomend a better spot 🙏🏾

Family owned business. They were very friendly and I was very pleased that they were the only auto shop that were 24 hours. They done wonderful job on my car for a great price. I definitely recommend and will be going back

Please don’t get your car worked on here! I’m not a person who would write something for no reason, just go to a more known repair shop because it will be worth it in the end.

If I ever leave a review for any business its either for two extremes: either they were overall outstanding and I acknowledge it, or they were overall horrible and I have to hold them accountable for their services, actions, or behavior. This review is the latter. I dropped my vehicle off to this repair shop on a Monday to have 3 distinct things repaired/replaced (1.Brakes and rotors, 2.Wheel bearing replaced, 3. Cat converter replaced) I received an estimate of total cost for parts and labor on Monday and gave them the green light to move forward with the service. Tuesday arrives and I dont receive a single phone call giving me any heads up whether or not any parts arrived, or if the repairs have begun, nothing. So I (the customer) call on Tuesday afternoon and was informed that they had already begun working on the vehicle, and that during their replacement of one of my rear brakes, the caliper seized and they recommended that I replace it. So I authorized them to do just that, replace the ONE caliper that so conveniently malfunctioned as they were changing it. Mind you, all throughout this conversation Im asking for an idea/estimate/ball park figure of when I should be expecting my vehicle to be complete for me to pick up and could never get a straight answer (by tomorrow afternoon, no more than another 48 hours, etc...) because thats the minimum any customer should expect from an ethically driven, customer service orientated, reputable repair shop right...? So after pulling tooth and nails with them on Tuesday, they tell me that the vehicle should be ready by Wednesday for me to pick it up. Wednesday arrives, I let the entire day pass before I call them. When I call, Im informed that they couldnt remove the cat converter because there was a bolt that would not come out so they had to cut it. (I was never given a call to inform me of this) I hope yall have started to pick up the pattern here by now. So now its Wednesday, my vehicle has not been completed yet for a job that honestly should have taken at maximum 2 days tops. Thursday arrives, no vehicle. I go to the shop to determine whats going on, and Im presented with the final bill with an extra part that they replaced without my explicit authorization. I call the owner to find out whats going on and he tells me that they had my vehicle towed to a muffler shop to get the cat converter off because they didnt have the proper tools to perform that. Never received a call regarding this, never communicated that this was something that was happening....I told them that I was not going to pay for that part because if I did Id have to take them to court for their highly illegal and unethical practices and they took that extra part cost off the final bill. Now mind you, Im a middle school teacher and mobility is something that I cannot gamble with or rely on Lyft or Uber to handle which I ended up spending over $130 on Lyft that week alone. The owner didnt take any accountability for the lack of explicit and proactive communication and charging a customer for a part and labor they did not explicitly authorize and acknowledges no adjusting feedback given to his business practices. Im all about supporting black owned businesses and keeping the black dollar within the community, however its businesses like this that give actual reputable and black liberating businesses with integrity a bad name. When are we going to get it together black people? If you dont want to deal with inconsistencies in communication, having something else break or malfunction in your vehicle when you originally brought your vehicle in for something simple, or just have to deal with extremely poor customer service, STAY AWAY. Yall have been more than warned.

They lost my car key with my house key on the same ring... They broke my review mirror and said they were not responsible for damage.. Smh... Its real bootleg there.... And they are very unorganized. And that ladybug think her name is Sarah in the front is very very rude they have yet to replace my mirror or pay me for my house key... Do not go here...please especially if you dont want to get angry...

Not being able to fix my car is one thing. But the way you treated me in the process is another. And Im telling you right now. You could have easily done better. And now my car has been impounded when you told me you would tow it to my house. But you never towed it. And the shop you left it at had it impounded. I didnt know this happened. And now not only have I paid you to fix my car, and the wrong parts were installed, and I spent months working with you, talking to you, driving over to you and talking more. You really let me down. And now I owe thousands of dollars to get it back on top of money I already invested to get it fixed. So between trusting you as a person and a business to do right. This has happened to me. I really tried more than a person should to make things right. But in the end I was flat out let down. You just dont even care.

If you are thinking about coming here don’t. They take forever to fix your car and don’t even give an estimated waiting time to fix it. I left my car there for THREE days for some brakes. I bought my car to king to repair an issue with some brake lights. He charged me 40 for the diagnostic and ordered a 160 dollar a brake switch that wasn’t needed once it was ordered the issue was still prevalent. Ever since he and his crew touched it won’t even shift into gear. I’ve been going to king for a long time this will be the last. And no this isn’t an angry post it’s all factual

I was referred to king automotive by a friend. He has been my mechanic since that day. He is not going to rush your service but he will get the job done right. I have sent my parents and grandparents to him for service as well. If you want quality service then he is the right choice !

No no no no no don’t waste your time. Bad business bad customer service. I brought my old school truck. Up there for a simple to start problem. Had my truck for 3 weeks couldn’t fix. Took my truck to complete auto repair in forest park. Fix my truck in 1 hour.

The address is wrong on google it’s suppose to be 6170 or 6072 Ga-85. The guy and staff are nice and all but when it comes to following up with customers, they SUCK! They’re very laid back. Affordable prices though. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re willing to deal with your car possibly staying overnight.

I had a windshield replace through this company and after 1 yr I start to seeing rain coming in my vehicle. So I took my car back up there and I explained to him that my windshield is leaking. He tells me that it is not the windshield. So I took my vehicle to a professional windshield shop and had to pay for another windshield due to the defective of the windshield th this shop to no one periodat he put in. I will never recommend this shop to no one at all

My first time going to King auto was abt 4 mnts ago bk in sept 2020 for an issue I had with a duct tapped hose under my car that was causing my acceleration to be very very weak. Other riverdale shops tht I called repair cost were ridiculous, even though I was coming with my own purchased part🙄 Im glad I googled this shop and chose them bc, ima tell u like thisya---> this is the only place I choose to go, okay!.. My original issue was fixed and my car rides better till this day! Ive returned on different occasions to get other repairs done with them, down to the smallest of task like an oil change, and King Auto has nvr dissatisfied me from pricing of parts to timing of repairs. They took care of me & my lil chevy & I trust em to get the work done👍🏼

5 stars - My car had a bad engine issue and call after call I was told shops were closed. When I called this shop I was told they were closed but they still took my car in to fix it. Thank you so much I will be coming here from now on instead of the Nissan dealership 😁😊2 stars- Edit: I waited 5 hours and paid my money for the problem to still be there. Like how could you do the job, test drive it, have me pay for it then I get in the car and notice within 5 seconds that the problem is still there. The staff there is cool but I definitely feel played

Highly unprofessional, not punctual, and would not suggest going if you have a foreign car or any major car issues. Went for a tuneup on spark plugs and to fix my brake lights, then they told me my brakes were bad. They worked on them and afterwards, my brakes were tight, but the mechanics said after driving it some, it would lighten up. The brakes kept getting worse over time and after some months, I realized that they damaged my brake booster in the process of fixing my brakes. It was clear to me that they did not know how to work on this particular car, Volkswagen Jetta, but it was an investment so I trusted them only to come away highly disappointed. This marks 5 months of doing business with them and none of my issues have been resolved. I ended up paying them $700+ for them to mess up my car and they only refunded me $50.I do not like to leave bad reviews, especially for a black owned business. However, my experience was so terrible that it had to be detailed.

Horrible!! I had to take my car to another shop to fix what they claimed they fixed! How do u detail a car when the door wont close at the top and u put it on??? Back door a different color! But u got paid!!!

DO NOT take your LS MOTOR here !It is undersrood the pandemic was going on. So we excersized extream patience.First car :They were always friendly and smiled in your face. They should have been completely honest and said they really did not know how to work on this particular type of motor. What stemmed from simple maintenance repairs turned into a motor replacement! They paid for most of the costs. But we are still out of pocket thousands. And the car had to be towed. If you know these motors, you know they arent cheap. Not to mention it took almost 3 months for this entire process. The communication was very poor!Second car:We put both cars to be repaired at the same time. This one had a tire rod replacement. Simple. But The alignment was never done. I waited for one and a half hours for my alignment while king himself took it God knows where. As soon as I got in the car I called saying the car was pulling. He told me I needed new tires! And that was the cause of the pull. More money down the drain.I would have not left a review at all. I dont believe in spreading bad blood. HOWEVER, I drove that nonaligned car across country back home to Texas with the other in tow. Non functional. And when my mechanic told us today that my SUV had never had an alignment, I was besides myself again. I took my life at risk driving that vehicle.Their work ethics STINK. If you have a Mickey mouse job, some simple work. They might handle it. But nothing complicated.Be Careful. Go at your own risk!

They were very Courteous and Professional in giving me the service that I needed and did it in a Timely Manner and I was able to ride Comfortably in the Summer Heat. I was so Satisfied that Ill be going back to them to have my vehicles painted.

I was trying to buy a car from King. He told me the car should be ready Saturday. So I called Saturday to make sure the car was ready before I went down there so I didnt waste my time. When I called I was told the car was ready & I could test drive it & to come around noon. I came about 1220 King was not there. I was told the car had to be cleaned out & that he had to do an oil change on it and he would call me when its done. Well, its 7:20 nearly 7 hrs later and I have not received a call yet. What a waste of time. Bad 1st impression. I could have been a future customer & could have brought you plenty of business. Oh well moving on.

I had problems with my truck so I decide to take it to King Automotive which whom I was referred to which Im glad I did not only did he repair my problem he wouldnt let me leave the lot without doing a full inspection on my truck to make sure everything else was running right. Hes a straight-up awesome guy. Did an awesome job. If you ever need help with your vehicle call them. They are there when you need them. 100% straight up satisfied customer wouldnt take my vehicle to anyone else but King Automotive.

Let me start by saying king is a very nice person ...they did a great job on my gmc yukon king uncle AKA UNC fix my truck and its driving like new...they take there time and work on your vehicle so if your in a rush it will not work for you.....thanks guys even tho I give you all a hard time bye keep calling but nothing but love....

I wish I can give them 0 stars. They are ghetto and high majority of the time. One lady have her infant child there while she’s working, so she barely gets anything done. They do not call when they’re finished with your car you have to call them or they’ll have your car for 2 weeks. DONT GO HERE! It’s not worth it.

The best auto repair in town King really cared about my situation from the time i got there with my lexus truck until it was fixed, very knowledgeable. Willing to talk to you in stead of blowing you off. Very fast and quality of work was excellent and great price. I will be going there from this point on. My mechanic for life.

I have a Ford Fusion Hybrid vehicle. I asked King ahead of time can his system detect everything that is going on with my vehicle. He said yes! Wrong! After he did an engine diagnostic he could not print out the report from the diagnostic. He said thermostats came up on the system, he said he changed it out and did a full reset but nothing was fully reset. I still had all the same warnings on my system before I came in. The work was not completed. King even threw an extra charge on Their that was not suppose to be on their in the first place. End result I got my money back for the system reset and the error in the extra charge. I did suffer a loss because of this. I do not recommend anyone go to King Automotive. He is not professional at all and doesnt have a lot of knowledge about his systems he use to to do diagnostics on vehicles.

Ok so I have revised my review! King himself has contacted me and made everything right with the fuel pump issue I was having with my car. As I stated the engine was replaced and even though it took a year ( with me making payments & unforeseen circumstances on his part) I’m satisfied now and besides anyone who can rectify a situation is good with me. So go on and ask as many questions make sure you stay on them because he doesn’t go all the work of course too many cars to do them alone but he is all good!! Besides ladies he is a cutie so you can’t stay mad at him long!! He does good work and makes things right!

This company doesnt even deserve a star at all. The receptionist has no class nor is she professional. As for the mechanics, they tried to charge me $500 for something that didnt fix the problem, they then took another diagnostic test (supposedly), they informed me it would be $600 for the other problem they found. I told them not to touch my truck and I had it towed to another mechanic, within three hours my truck was fixed, which cost a total of $75, and King Automotive was about to charge me $425 more. It should be called Joker Automotive.

Kings Automotive is a Mechanic shop from hell! For 1 they will keep your car for very lengthy time had my car for a 1 month and a 1/2. 2 you call and never get an answer 3 them things in the front office have the worst attitude 4 they take parts from your vehicle for instance they swapped my battery (my battery was still new and had a warranty thank God of that)5 king dont care about your repairs just the money. This shop needs to be shutdown frfr. They have disputes with everyone because they are some scam artist such as Nissan of morrow, Sams used parts Inc and numerous of their clients. Run run run as fast as u can from this shop.

Kept my car for a long time when i popped up there to check on it we couldnt find it he said he have it put up...they kept my 300 dollar CD player in the car and nerver called me and nerver told me my car was eventually taken. They are a BIG scam at this place dont do business here. Zero Stars to King i camed for my CD player! Nerver got it my car was missing before they came and got it from u and u nerver called me and told me anything! FACTS
