I really enjoy shopping at Ulta, and this doesn’t speak for the actual company. This is about the store itself, specifically the salon. On Friday 06/11, I made a standard haircut appointment with Leticia at 10:30 AM. I get there, and she also sells me the dye which is fine. My hair was pretty long, and I decided to cut it short. So she dry cuts my hair before putting on dye. Mind you my hair is curly. So she cuts it, and we put the black dye on. Great. We then wash my hair, and come back where she trims areas. I didn’t pay extra for a signature haircut due to the fact I was leaving my hair curly.Long story short it was great until I came home and straightened it. Everything was uneven, and choppy. I call management, and asked for a reimbursement to get it fixed. She tells me they don’t do refunds for haircut, or anything like that. They only gave me the option for them to correct it. I told her I didn’t feel comfortable with the same associate cutting my hair. She said she would have the educator reach out to me. She never did. All of that for $120 including tip and dye. This isn’t a $50 haircut. I HAVE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS AFTER PAYING AN EXTRA $50 FOR ANOTHER SALON TO FIX IT.

Took my gf to get her eyebrows done as a treat the lady who did them messed them up. my gf ask her to fix them after she was done doing my eyebrows but she just sent us off and told us we were done and to pay the front, without fixing them. she cried about them on the car ride home. don’t let Karina do ur eyebrows ask for someone else.

Just wanted to let someone know how helpful Elissa was. She helped me find the face masks l was looking for and she was so sweet. Deloria was at the register and she was so nice. Both of them have great customer service skills.

Every beauty product is available in one location here with knowledgeable staff to assist you. I was able to find everything that I needed in the right shade.

Spent four hours getting a root touch up, ended up with these gold/orange colored roots and about an inch and a half of my roots still showing. I never received a shampoo and conditioner just a cold water wash out, I didn’t receive the layers I requested. I got charged $150 for getting nothing that I asked for. I will not be returning to the Riverbank Ulta salon again.

Love love love Ulta I could spend hours here. The associates were really nice and helpful. Sorry grandkids but this Easter was for grandma and I spent on beauty products from makeup to hair assesories to bling out my new haircut also got some new product hair color and splurged on a titanium ceramic hot air brush something new to me but it leaves my hair so soft. I will be back.

The associates are so much more friendly and helpful then they were on my last visitThey have a large selection of everything and thier return policy is awesome. If you dont like it bring it back. However I hardly ever shop here because I feel they are expensive

First time in and last. Unfortunately, I wasnt give the necessary help by an employee. I dont usually rate places poorly, but I had to in this circumstance. Everyone should be treated the same regardless of how you look or what you wear. I asked politely for help I was not shown the products that they have in the store. I was left to wonder on my own. Im no expert in make up, so I just wanted guides to the correct location in the store of were product are. A bit of their time goes a long way. Unfortunately, I wont come back to this Riverbank Ulta Beauty. Id rather go to the Ulta Beauty store in Stockton, they actually take some time to assist your needs and answer questions.

As a woman from the older generation, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. As soon as I walk through the doors I was greeted with a smile. As I walked through the aisles I was approached and asked if I needed assistance, which I did. I found everything I wanted, some things I needed and things I didnt know about. All of which are to my liking and hopefully to my benefit. The prices are fair. Theres plenty of free parking in a Well-lit parking lot. Very clean and organized store. I will go there again for all my beauty products. Anything that helps is beneficial to me. And to you if you give them a chance. Go explore take a chance and go get beautified. They also have several beauty services available by appt. And dont forget to Check them out on line or in person. Sign up for their rewards (points) program.

Interesting experience and I don’t normally do reviews like this. I went here solely to buy my boyfriend a cologne for Christmas. I do what the safety precautions say and I use the tester strips to spray the cologne but if I’m going to spend $100 or so on a cologne I’m going to use my nose to smell it. Sorry about it. An associate comes literally less than a foot away from me telling me she’d like me to keep my mask over my nose. Interesting that you’re not social distancing from me in the first place. If you’d like me to spend money on your company’s cologne let me smell it to make sure I like it before I drop $100 on it and STAY AWAY FROM ME. A little hypocritical in my opinion. I wear my mask correctly in the store but don’t nag on people who are about to drop $100 or more on your scents. Not happy about this.

Never shopping here again. Read many times Ulta repackages returned items but never believed it until my sister bought a Kylie lipstick and it had smeared lipstick on the cap without even first opening it. Then she opens it and there’s lipstick everywhere as if it were used many times not just once. So sick. They don’t want us touching anything but repackage things. Do better.

This was my first time at Ulta beauty here in Riverbank. I got my hair done by Lora last night and she was so friendly and gave great advice. She really knows her craft well. She gave great advice on what products to use and didnt make you feel like you had to buy something. I would definitely recommend this Ulta beauty to all my family and friends!👍

I had an awesome experience at Ulta Beauty in Riverbank, the girls in the salon are very sweet and attentive. Megan did my makeup and I looked gorgeous!!! She picked out just the perfect eyelashes to give me length and still look natural. Cody was my hairstylist. I gave her just an idea of how I would like my hair and she listen and turned it up a notch giving me a fabulous half up do that took my breath away!!! Thank you girls for helping me look beautiful on my wedding day!!! I really did feel like a princess!!!!!!!!!

They have a great selection for men, including the American Crew hair, body, shave, and body lines. It is the best selling line of mens products in the US. They had exactly what I was looking for, and at a better price than at my salon. For all beauty need, ULTA may not carry Everything, but they carry Most of them.

I always shop here at this location had no problem. I asked this lady to check if they have a perfume available in bigger size & her respond was “ if I check it’s going to take me awhile just to go check” well obviously you work there for a reason smh I can’t go in the back & grab it myself since I don’t work there or else I would of. They need to hire people who actually love and do their job. I’m sticking to the ulta in Modesto now they have better workers there.

Of the ULTAs we have been to, this location was a cut above the rest.We had some simple questions and the guest representatives, (yeah we had more than one helper) were more than happy to help us to the right products.Thank you and keep it up.

I love that I have the option to go to Ulta living in Riverbank. I love the store and all the products, however the staff is another story. Every time I go into Ulta, especially tonight I get totally ignored. Nobody greats me, nobody asks if I need help with anything. I can’t find anyone on the floor to help me and there’s 4 employees behind the counter helping 2 customers.. how does that make sense. All the girls act stuck up..

My friend I came in to check out a foundation. As soon as we walk in everyone gives us the side eye. I asked an employee (she ignored me several times) with BRIGHT PURPLE HAIR for some help and that girl was so damn rude. No one wanted to help us.

I really love Ulta. This store could no should make some changes, the employees being the first. How can they make it through the day when they fake their knowledge for the most part and treat paying customers as if they are thieves. There is so much awesome stuff to look at out takes a while however, the employees will follow you asking if you need help at every turn. They have mastered how to come off as intrusive while looking at you like your the biggest scab in the world. Bal off let me lol at all the beast items i could be buying if you could give me the opportunity to make a decision without worrying what you were thinking I was trying to steal.

Only 1 person asked if they could help me. I was clearly struggling with what to get I think her name was Amanda she was very sweet and helpful to me and my mother and spent all the time we needed with us we really appreciated her service her service definitely rates 5 stars but the fact that she was busy with another customer when we walked in and there were other associates on the floor who could have helped us but never asked was not good customer service as soon as Amanda was done with her original customer she came right over to us.

A very nice employee was able to go in the back and find what l was looking for. I thought they were out and she found it for me right away.

Attendant was helpful offering personal thoughts, suggesting a better offer. Long line.

I booked an online appointment for makeup application I believe it was 45 dollars my appointment was at exactly 9am I was there several minutes early and the girl who did it showed up late.. She took forever in doing my makeup I was there for almost 2 hours and then when I was printed the ticket to pay they charged me 70 dollars for my application.. It was not even worth it

Got a haircut from one of the stylists here and it was enjoyable. She was nice and we talked alot. I will say it was definitely the longest haircut Ive ever had at an hour and a half. But it was enjoyable. Spent too much money though tbh. $50 out the door haircut + product. Id probably go back

I guess because Im not 15 they didnt want to help me. Then when I asked for help, they proceeded to explain how I didnt want a matte foundation and I didnt have oily skin.....Im 49 years old and I know what my skin is and is not. Then, they were out of stock with everything I wanted. And last but not least, they didnt give me the gift that went with purchase. Oy.......Sephora, Ill see ya next time.

The service was excellent. However, the woman that color matched me (the Clinique woman) told me I was a certain shade & handed me another one. I kept telling her she gave me the wrong one & she’s like no that’s your shade. She was in such a hurry to clock out she wouldn’t even look at the one she gave me.

I love ulta and I spend usually 200 in the store when I go, I usually get assisted very quick that is in other ulta stores, in this store unlike any other I wasnt greeted or asked if I needed assistance, if I could put negative 5 stars I would I just stood quiet took a glance and didnt find all the things that I needed, i asked for help and received some attitude, I went to the cashier and she gave me attitude asked would that be all but in a very moody way I dont know what these people are going through but I wrather drive 1 hour to go to a better ulta than this unprofessional work place with no charm what so ever

Went in to buy a styling product. I asked a stylist for help, she had a very bad attitude towads me. Was not interested in helping me. Poor customer service. On top of everything she is gossiping about me to her coworker, I saw her coworker glancing around the end of the isle looking at me. You need to grow up and stop acting like children. I spend a lot of money buying hair products. I will never shop at this Ulta again.

Of all the Ultas I have visited, this one has the best clearance prices around. The staff is super friendly and not over attentive either because sometimes I just like to take my time and dig thru every clearance item they have without someone asking me every 5 minutes if I need help with anything. I will go out of the way to visit this location. Im not bashing the other locations either, Im just saying that this one is the best for clearance prices and customer service.

Perfect there wasnt one employee that didnt come over and ask if i needed help. Ty I found the mail polish I wanted.

Used their online pick up order for the first time and was extremely disappointed. Had to wait like 10 minutes for someone to help me while there was nobody in line and many employees just standing around. When I got home some items were used and heavily swatched open and some were broken. Youre much better off going in and getting the items yourself. The fact an employee would think it’s okay to give a customer used unsanitary items that they paid good money for is concerning and gross! All the manager had to say was come in and get them exchanged which is such an inconvenience considering I shouldn’t have to. Didn’t even get a damn sorry. AVOID USING PICK UP ORDERING.

I have been a faithful sephora customer for years, after visiting this store I wont be needing to return to sephora. Ive visited this store on two occasions and been so impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff is. I didnt ask his name, I wish I had. The man that helped me pick out my mascara makes customer service his art and so very knowledgeable about the products. Im definitely sold on the Riverbank Ulta.

This location is never dirty or messy but the service ruins my experience. I recently visited the riverbank location because i wanted to try a new foundation. NO ONE helped me. A girl walked by me and looked at me 3 TIMES and didnt say anything to me. I didnt know what shade to buy and i still dont think its my shade and when i asked the cashier about the shade she said you can always buy it and if its not your shade you can exchange it. Whats the point of that when i should be helped BEFORE I LEAVE? I left so fed up with that store. I WILL NOT go there anymore.

The stylist was extreamly nice however what was suposed to take up to 21/2 hours ended up being 6 1/2 hours in the chair and by the time i left my hair should have been blonde and instead it is silver and orange. My wedding is in 11 days and id rather be bald at this point. I selected to have their best stylest do my hair and they called me to change my appointment to someone who was better at what i wanted i can not believe ulta expects to stay in business if this is the results of what the consider their best.

Hours on the door are wrong came at 10 but online says 11. I come here cause its close but some of the staff is snobby, especially at the prestige makeup area. Last time I wondered around for almost 45min in that area and even though everyone was free to help no one approached me. And when I tried to ask for help I got I got ignored. Its a shame really... DO BETTER ULTA!
