The associates stayed up front by the register the whole time. I was able to find what I wanted on my own since I had been there before. I was in the shoe section for almost 20 minutes and never once did an employee come by. I guess it is good that I found my size in the shoes I was looking at.Otherwise, it is a clean store, a little crowded with stuff, but its a small space. They do have a huge selection of different gear for almost every sport, hobby, and even household needs. Parking was plentiful and close as well.

Greeted immediately upon walking in by cheerful employees who clearly love working there and super helpful with all my questions.

Love it here they are always so friendly and very helpful. We come here often and usually spend quite awhile looking at items trying things out and never feel rushed they even take my things up front so i dont have to carry them throughout the store.

The staff really out did themselves for me. I ordered some weights by phone and they somehow were bought by another person. The manager Cary (not her real name) found me the same weights and she also offered me a discount as I was clearly upset. It had taken me 3 months to find these weights during the pandemic.Kudos to all the staff. so sorry I was a butt head as I was upset but you all made it right!Thank you so much. I am grateful.

It is nice to have a sporting good store in the neighborhood.It is on the more expensive side.Recently I went at 10am then checked back at 1030am but store was closed. Store hours at business said they were supposed to open at 10am.

The customer service person that actually helped me find the sale item i was looking for was wonderful, she was just back at the store very recently. It would do them well to keep her as she was the only one with any personality worth commenting on. Unfortunately this is not the first time i have found this to be the case.

Well priced in locally-owned Big 5 Sports in Rio Rancho has been a blessing to us. Theres not as many locally owned sports stores here in town, but this one hits the need right on the dot. We bought a lot of equipment from them and weve never had any issues with what weve purchased.

I only had an hour break from work and like an idiot didnt check their business hours before heading to the store. I showed up 30 minutes before opening, door locked but, they were kind enough to let me in. I am very grateful for that because I really needed some boots and didnt want to go to Walmart. Thank you Big 5 manager! Other than that the store carries good brands and selections.

Stop by if you want rude staff. Claim they have an archery shop online, get to store, they have a few items. Ask for assistance and the staff just looks are you like you are rude for asking for help. Like, its not their job. I have given them several times to redeem, and each time they just go further down the horrid shop. But, if you are the right looking person, they will totally leave you, to go help them. Hate this place. Never will I visit again, and I tell all I know. Not to go there.

Great service, very friendly and helpful. Its very annoying that they have sale shoes and hardly any sizes. . They should say, odd size clearance sale or something, I went through like 8 pairs before finding a size bigger that fit lol. Poor lady was getting run ragged.
