Love coming here. Brandon does an awesome job of making sure my concerns are addressed and keeping my updated on the progress. He also goes out his way to make sure my service is priority. JC is very knowledgeable and is awesome to work with as well. Only issue is they are very busy, so it usually takes a call or two to reach the service department to get something scheduled, but cant knock em for getting the job done!
Courtesy and kindness demonstrated by the entire organization at every level, from walking in the door to driving away in a new Ford vehicle. I hadnt been back to Chalmers in years, because I walked around lot for half an hour and got no service. I came back to look for a truck, but salesman told me there were no F-250s. I was literally standing in front of a row of F-250 trucks. Rude and perhaps profiling. Ill buy in ABQ as I did before.

The main shop does good work and getting an appointment is easy, but after that the customer service is spotty at best. If you want info on your vehicles status its almost always on you to call your representative for updates. It took me 9 hrs, and multiple calls, yesterday to get feedback on a simple diagnostic. Wholly unacceptable. Im staying with Chalmers for now, but if I can find a good and reliable mechanic Im going to switch.

WASTE OF MY TIME and disrespectful as well.ZERO stars - I made an appointment with Byron on 6/7/21 to see a car on 6/8/21. He put it in the system. When I arrived, right on time, I was told that he was not in for the day. Another salesman came to help and did not know why Byron was not there. I asked why Byron would make an appointment with me and not even be at work. Then the car I was scheduled to see was in the service department and not ready for me to look at. A total waste of time that a simple phone call to me could have solved. Why are salesmen so eager to contact you constantly except when it would have been necessary? I will never be back and Don Chalmers does not value my time and wont be getting any of my business either. Beware if you are driving from any distance to see a car here.

My Service Advisor, Trent Durham, greeted me quickly as I drove in for an engine light on on my 2019 Ford Edge. He stated they would need to keep the vehicle up to a few days. I had anticipated that and already had a ride waiting. Surprisingly, they were done with the diagnoses and repair the very next day. Trent was friendly and to the point. I will definitely be back anytime my vehicle needs serviced.

Bad service. Was given a price for a new key and programming 2. He came back with it done and price was $40 over quote did not even let me know before hand. Made me sign first instead of pay and the experience was uncomfortable. Will not be returning.

Chalmers took care of it with no issues, providing a loaner car while they fixed the issue.I have 2 other Ford dealers that are closer to where I live, but when I need anything I will be making the drive to Chalmers Ford because I know I will get honest and helpful service.
Awesome customer service! I spoke with Brandon from Ford Services about my vehicle being broken down. He immediately got a tow truck within the hour and loaner vehicle. The part for my vehicle was on back order but Brandon was able to find the part and fixed the issue within a week! This is in reference to the repair shop not sales .Dolores Chavez was amazing from first contact to end, very helpful always checking in with me along the way. The body work is superb cant even tell any damage was done. Highly recommend this place for repairs and if you are lucky you will get to work with Dolores.

So I actually purchased my vehicle from Rich Ford off of Wyoming. That was a mistake! After dealing with them and months of bs trying to get our tow package installed, I only come to Don Chalmers for all my service needs! The service techs are always kind and professional. Wish I had bought my truck from them and if I purchase another down the road Ill be happy to give them my money!

10/10. Absolutely would recommend! I called a couple dealerships in the Albuquerque area about my Ford Focus that was acting up. Chalmers Ford stood out as having an incredibly helpful service rep, J.C. He spent time on the phone with me setting up an urgent service appointment and he was able to help me that day. I ended up deciding to trade in my car and got a same day appointment with Mike on the sales team. Mike was excellent! He knew everything about the Ford Ranger and answered all my questions during our test drive. He went above and beyond working with my finance requests, taking me back out to the lot as I waffled back and forth about different models, providing me a lift to drop off my rental car at home, and even helping me pull my subwoofer out of the car that I was trading in! It was the best sales experience I have ever had. I also had an excellent experience with Jackie in finance. She was efficient, friendly and helped me pick the right options for my financial situation. She also went above and beyond when there was an issue with my Michigan title for my old car. She even called in her off hours to help resolve the issue. I will be doing all future Ford business with Chalmer’s.
I am a new resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and I am so very happy to have discovered Chalmers Ford and the personnel there. The Service Coordinator that I worked with there... I believe her name was Dianna, was especially attentive to my needs and was fast and efficient in seeing my work was done. Everyone there was wearing masks at the time of Covid, and I was very appreciative of all of them doing that. The waiting lounge was clean and pleasant and comfortable. I thought the cost and the rates were fair and reasonable. I was peeved that I had to replace the entire rear tailight assembly on my 2011 Lincoln MKZ simply because only one bulb was out or malfunctioning...however this certainly was not the fault of anyone at Chalmers Ford, because this is simply the way the car was designed. This was the case at the Ford Dealership in Los Angeles, when I once had to replace a bulb on the other side of the car. Overall, 5-Stars on everything and everyone at Chalmers Ford Service Department. Thank you!

I have gone to Chalmers ford service department and Quick Lane for various issues relative to my truck maintenance and repairs for years. In my opinion Chalmers Ford is the go-to-place for all service and vehicle needs.Two examples: I went to the service department recently to have my F-150 checked out for start up issues. Rich Gati, a service employee at Chalmers, had me leave the truck for a diagnostic. He called me up later that day and said my truck was ready and operational.This is the kind of service you can expect to get at Chalmers. A one stop shop for all your Ford vehicle needs.The staff at Chalmers are courteous, attentive and professional. On my recent visit to the Quick Lane to have my tail light repaired, the service technician took less than a half hour to find the problem and to fix it. And, most importantly, the work was done free of charge.This is why I am a loyal Chalmers customer. They appreciate their customers. I will continue to patronize this business and suggest my readers do the same.

Dont use their body shop. I had the front bumper of my car replaced, and after a slow fender bender with little impact, it fell right off. Also, when they repaired my car after an accident, I found that there were still items they had not fixed, they suggested that I actually damaged the items after their repair and offered to fix it if I paid for the fixes. I will never use this company again. They cut as many corners as possible and do shoddy work. I will take my money elsewhere to shops I can trust.
Don Chalmers is shady as can be. They are a bunch of con artists, honestly. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. And stay as far away from the service department. CROOKS all of them.

I look to Don Chalmers to let me know if my car needs more than just the mandatory maintenance. My Service Representative recently advised me what needs attention and how long I can safely wait to have it done.
So my wife and I tried buying a truck here a few months back, and they wouldn’t give me a fair trade amount for my vehicle and the finance person wouldn’t work with my on the price of the truck I wanted they definitely made it hard for me to buy a car so I actually just walked out pretty disappointed due the fact that the vehicle I was trading in I had bought it here . A couple months later I came to Rich Ford and my wife and I bought to new vehicles from them ! So it was this dealers lost ! Took my truck in for several minor issues and had all addressed without issue. Appointment scheduling was easy and support beter than expected.
Had the windows tinted on my explorer, to block out the harsh New Mexico summer sun, and Eric Martinez took my order, followed it through the completion and immediately contacted me when the vehicle was ready for pickup.
Took my 2006 Ford Mustang for diagnostic for partial electrical seat failure. I asked them to check the switch. They did pay for a Lyft ride, after drooling over the new Mustang Bullet for 20 mins no sales person even said hello. Near the end of the day Brandon the mechanic left a voicemail at 4:11 pm saying he has some good news on my seat. After some phone tag and long hold times he said everything had to be replaced and it would cost over 1600.00. I took it home after the 100.00 inspection, ordered the part used for 509.09 delivered. After swapping myself the forward and back switch still did not work. I replaced the switch and it worked. Wow . Ive asked for the management to reach out to me. They did not.
