Best Asian Supermarket chain!H mart has a lot of locations, but this location in particular is my favorite! H mart is known for the freshest seafood and best quality meats!This place is huge and they have a wide selection of sushi and sashimi! They also have different varieties of Kimchi! I also love their ready to eat section at the back.They follow all health protocols so you don’t have to worry about your safety.

Awesome Korean-Asian supermarket with an amazing choice of fresh, hi-quality vegetables, fruits, meat, and live seafood. The market is mostly Korean oriented but has a great choice of Asian cuisine products like sauces, dressings, and frozen food. The price is fair for such a wide choice and top quality of products.

Convenient, has everything and fresh food with a Korean flavor. What else do you need. Due to volume of customers, parking will not be easy. Get some exercise and park further away. Clean store and always well stocked. The cashiers are largely good and very helpful. There’s also some Korean stores which are good.

Store had what we were shopping for at a competitive price. It was easy to set up delivery and installation. The sales person was helpful and not pushy. I would shop there again.

From someone who goes to Mitsuwa often, finding this little gem funny because it is the complete opposite.A Korean supermarket with a wonderful variety of options to pick from, the fresh seafood is worth the visit and the selection of Korean food is great. Even the kitchen items were from to look at and worth a look if your need anything special for your kitchen.I didnt like the vegetables and fruits as they did not pass my inspections, but the meat sections and dry foods was worth it. There is also a dining area where you can get some fresh cooked Korean food, I am sure it is good to eat if you are interesting, there is more than enough parking and space in the area.There is also many stores inside, though I do not expect much from them or any authentic items in those stores, it seems a bit shady.

I went to Ridgefield H-Mart after a long time. Its gotten really clean and wide surprisingly. The staff are so kind and the vegetables and fruits are fresh, so I shop happily. It was good to buy everything that I enjoyed in Korea easily. I was very satisfied.

Great shopping. Plenty of car spaces. Great selection of meat and fresh seafood. All the Korean and Japanese items you need. The only thing I found is the asian veges are not that fresh. Otherwise this is my go to asian supermarket!

The biggest and best H Mart in North Jersey that Ive come across. Besides having some of the best sale prices, they also have the biggest food court of them all.Instead of talking about groceries, here are a few quick tips:1. Come a couple of hours before closing for last minute food court sales.2. They have massive seafood and meat sections and cut meat by request.3. They have other small shops like beauty shops and pastry shops inside so its similar to a mini mall.If I have to choose one, its my go to H-Mart.

Honestly I havent ever shopped anywhere that I loved more. Everything you could need or want in one stop. If you like Asian food and items this is the place for you. Also if your into Kpop this is also a place you want to come.

Its a nice place to go, but all of the workers are cold. No greetings, no smile, they just stare and make you feel uncomfortable.

We really like this super H mart.Their fruit is always fresh and with very good deal!Super market is very clean and bright.Most of the stuffs are korean / asian product .Somehow I feel like their price is cheaper than the manhattan one. And they home more brand here.Also a big food court.This is the best H mart so far compare the one I have been ( Edison, manhattan, and flushing one)

The products at this market is fresh and has some discounts.

They have a great selection of asian meats, spices and a great seafood selection. Alot of asian candies as well as an awesome food court with japanese, Chinese and Korean foods. They also have a cold bar with sushi and other great food. Once you walk out, make sure to check out the bakery across from the exit, 3 for $10 of great bread.

I have been shopping this store for more than 20 yrs. i recently furchaed LG codeless vacuum cleaner. Korean store, korean brand. I thought it could be good idea for buying it here. I have moved to mid New Jersey so it is kind of harder to conme here to shop, anyway i still come here 4-5 time a month.now i get to the point .I used tuis vacuum 5-6 time only. It died on my last week . I called LG, hoping that is simple fix. It turned out to be main problem. They sent me link for shipping label. I have to send a unit to “California “??? And suggest me to go to the store for better solution. I cane here today. Talk to the men who seemd to be the manager for electronic section. The men told us (me and wife) wait, finally came back 15-20 min latet passed the copy for warranty repair information. That is it. No return is possible. No proper info for return policy. So i asked the man “ if this is broke out of box, can it be returned here? The man said “ you still have to send it to the CA. At least I didn’t lie to them. I used it a little. So this HMart is not supposed sell the products because they can’t even handle the problems even though the product is a day old. The customer need to be aware of purchasing electronics here. I have a dyson, they usually sent a problematic parts, not telling you send a whold makn boddy.I later talk to anothe manager of HMart keep saying send it to the repair centers . He didn’t even know the destination is CA. Kne more time . H Mart should not allow to sell LG products is unless they have proper return policy has established. I left the my vacuum kn the floor told them to keep it. They didn’t not follow me after. They don’t seemed care.

Wow, what an amazing grocery store! I have been to several Hmart locations, but this one is by far the biggest and it even has a rewards program. Immense produce section full of a wide variety of fresh greens and exotic fruit (they even had fresh mangosteen which I’ve never seen in a supermarket before). Reasonable prices.Incredible selection of meat including wagyu beef and shaved meats for hot pot. Looking forward to trying the fish and shrimp next time, which looked very fresh, especially the bar of scoop your own head-on shrimp.They have an entire aisle of kimchi in every size, shape, and variety you can imagine. There’s even a section with nice japanese-style dinnerware and a nice selection of kitchen appliances.The social distancing line looked long but moved fast. We were shopping in about 10-15 minutes during peak time on a Saturday, and they even do an infrared temperature check which makes you feel safe. Well worth the wait! Can’t wait to go back!

This is a fantastic supermarket. hmart has everything you could need. they have food, drink, appliances, utensils, slippers, bakery, food court, massage chairs, samples (think Asian costco!!), pharmacy, and beauty supplies! theres a huge selection. the only thing is not everyone can speak fluent English so it may be a bit frustrating to get certain answers but overall it was not a problem. most of the people are cordial and helpful. they have a nice parking lot. the store itself is quite large. there were several sales in the store so that was nice. you can find tons of Asian snacks here! there are interestingly flavored chips, shrimp snacks, seaweed, Pocky, green tea flavored marshmallows, fruity flavored marshmallows, candy you didnt even know existed... the list goes on and on...

Food and stuff is a little to spensive but they have some good 👍 things

Im a Korean. So Im getting verities of Korean groceries there. It seems to me they are not organized well because someitems are not in one place. Some specificItem I have to look around for next time.When I need help to find some, all helpers are Hispanic who cant understand Korean. Its pretty inconvenience to me.

Amazing especially with covid before you get it they give you globes and check your temperature tablet. SO HIGH TECH! And line is inside the area and is quick and easy.

Food court and hot food packages to go are always great, so are the groceries and seafood, though checkout lines on weekends are not.

All Korean and Japanese cuisine related ingredients available in this shop. Get to see lots of Korean products which isnt available in other groceries around. Varieties of fish, seafood snacks and mushrooms to choose. We go to buy mainly udon and other noodles along with ramen ingredients.

It has good Korean products but the aisles are super narrow, the check out area is too small, and there is not enough parking space.

This is why I love the Korean culture. In order to enter the store, the associates asked to measure your temperature. That is not uncommon in the age of COVID-19. What sets this store apart from its counterparts is that they use facial scan technology in order to do so. What American store is using this technology?! Moreover, I enjoyed the selection of authentic ingredients needed for delectable Asian cuisine.

H Mart is one of the finest grocery stores out there. This h Mart in particular is extremely good everythings very fresh prepared food is very good I highly recommend it.

Ive only been at this location twice. Much like the H Mart in Edison, it seems to always be packed. Parking lot packed with cars outside and store packed with people inside. Social distancing... whats that?? Lol.This location (as opposed to Edison) seems to have more of a selection in the meat department. I also like the pick your own whole fish kinda set up at this location more. Like Edison it seems to have more isles that are entirely too tight for the number of people who are there at any given time.I like the food court in Edison more than here. I stopped and got some spicy hot chicken to go. I paid and the young lady said it would take about 15min. I waited. While waiting I played some games on my phone. I sat next to her but up a couple steps. We made eye contact several times. I saw her hand a few orders to other customers and thought that once my order was ready she would either give it to me or let me know it was ready. I was there for about 30 min. After seeing enough people pick up their food I looked around to see if something was wrong. It was then that I noticed there was a number system letting people know their order was ready. My order was sitting on the counter. I have no idea how long it was sitting there. I was slightly annoyed that the cashier didnt bother to at least motion to the counter to let me know I should get up to get it. The chicken was ok. Not as good as Boom Boom near the Edison location but ok. I probably wouldnt it again though.Like Edison, no one seems to be terribly friendly there. Not the employees and not the other customers. Not one smile to be found. Id continue going because Im a fan of the different when it comes to food. Asian markets are some of the best places to find things that would never be found in an average ShopRite or Stop & Shop.

This is a place out of an exotic vacation that go to all the time good service and quality merchandise. You will have to search far and wide for this combination of selection. Very low price on Sushi.

The only supermarket that at the main entrance there is an employee that provides you with disposable gloves and a shopping cart. When entering the supermarket itself there is a thermo scanner that measures your temperature. Supermarket is organized and well stocked. The fish market section is clean, organized with a wide variety of fish and seafood. The employees are hard working men and women that extend professional and courteous customer service.

Love this place. Everything in one place. I love it. Plan on shopping there more often.

Ive been a long time customer of H Mart (for over 20+ yrs) and H Mart Ridgefield has been my preferred location for nearly as long. My shopping experiences are usually quite satisfactory at H Mart. HOWEVER, on my recent visit on 3/01 ~9pm, a very RUDE cashier (Linda Jung) left a very bad impression. She had a very antagonistic attitude after I politely asked her to remove a pomegranate that she dropped from my purchase - the fruit was dented from the drop. While still scanning my items, she ACCUSED me of stuffing in extra mangos in the box of 14x mangos I was buying and proceeded to pick out, then actually REMOVE 2x mangos from the box I was buying! When I pointed out that the box was labelled to include 14x mangos, she reluctantly gave them back to me. I was speechless but kept calm and I continued to bag my own groceries. Then she complained about the amount of bags I was using to bag my groceries!! I had 2 carts worth of items! This type of rude and unprofessional behavior is not acceptable and H Mart should ensure basic conventional courtesy for their customers. H Mart mgmt should consider basic professional etiquette training for someone like her.

This is the best Asian market in NJ, the produce section is TO DIE FOR! Everything is super fresh, super high quality, and reasonably priced. The variety is mind blowing. They have every type of mushroom, pepper, cucumber, you name it-they have it even Latino produce, every type of fruit, sparkling clean. And they even have the best selection of western fresh herbs Ive ever seen. Sage, thyme, rosemary, basil, red basil, chives, super fresh, not even a single blemish, not even western groceries have that. This place is shocking with the produce quality.You will only find a very tiny western section like half an isle, this store is STRICTLY Asian with the groceries and most of it is in foreign language, but luckily on the back of every package is an English sticker label so you can know what youre buying.This place is huge, no lie you can get lost in here, theres so many nooks and passages that you can pass the same spot twice and suddenly notice a whole other section.The meat section is very pricey, just know that going in. Clutch your pearls when you see those $40 steaks, but know they are top quality, and these mad-men actually sell dry aged Angus beef sliced to order. They even have all the thinly sliced frozen meats for hot pot, shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. AND you can buy pre marinated bulgogi meats for bbq.They have everything from Korean, Chinese, South East Asian, especially Japanese groceries. Anything you are looking for, they have it!They have an herbal medicine monger with barrels of dried herbs if you wanna go that route.They have a house wares section where you can buy all the cool Asian gizmos you wish you could buy. Every rice cooker ever produced, you can buy a REFRIGERATOR UP IN THIS JOINT, they are not playing. This place is amazing.Yes there is an amazing hot food section with sit down eating, but the last time I came it was closed for covid19, not sure if they reopened. But they had a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, a Korean restaurant, and a BBQ joint in the sit down section.Outside the sit down section is another area where you can get hot tteok-bokki, japchea, all kinds of korean side dishes that you can reheat in the microwave and sit down to eat as well. They have kimbap, and Japanese style sushi.In the front on the store by the check out, they have a cute little French pastry shop that sells macarons and bubble tea after a hard days shopping 🛍I love this place ❤

Nice, well stocked Asian supermarket. They provide you with gloves when you go in. Everything is very sanitary, and they had everything I was looking for. Overall, a great experience shopping there.

Very long line, but it goes relatively quickly. They give you plastic gloves and check your temperature before going in. But once inside, I felt that it was a little too crowded for these times and was quite uncomfortable. As far as the food goes, I was able to find everything I was looking for. Be careful with the fresh produce, some of it was rotten already.

Amazing experience. They really laid out traffic paths to ensure that all customers are 6ft apart. They also provide gloves (the ones that are used for food prep such as kimchi). Great job staff!

Worst experience. Worms in fruits and vegetable. We bought a 5.5 cup rice cooker and an evil lady in the electronic department gave us a 10 cup rice cooker. We didn’t realize until we were back to Boston and we went all the way back to New Jersey to return this piece. I highly suspected that she just wanted to see this one to us, because she couldn’t sell the old piece of crape to anyone. She insisted that we used the rice cooker and she refused to return. We had to bear this 400-dollar loss!!! 400 dollars!!!! I didn’t manage to get a picture of this evil woman, but NEVER buy any electronics from here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Extra large Hmart with more stock variety than the normal sized ones. Other than the standard Korean groceries and a live seafood section, there is also an attached food court. As of 8/10 quite a few stores are closed however. It is part of a larger mall complex, and there are other stores outside the supermarket itself offering various Korean products.

After renovation on backside, they offer more variety on asian good. I like that.

It is a large Asian supermarket. Since it is a Korean grocery store, they sell Korean items the most. Then you can find Japanese and Chinese products. They have a food court inside so you can eat then shop. In that mall, you can also find bakery, skin care store and more. After you done for grocery shopping, you can spend time at other stores.

They have a lot of selections of Asian veggies and fruits. I highly recommend it.

We came to this place for lunch. we heard about this restaurant from many people. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The meal was delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

During this whole pandemic they had to close for a bit cause they needed to do a deep cleaning. Afterward they were very well stock and did not inflate their prices. While the big box ran out of meat and poultry they were very good. They kept to the guideline and made sure all had mask and gloves. They did have one location not sure if I commented but they way the store was built very hard to keep people at a distance.

Good store and products properly packed good. Only thing people wearing mask which is good but a lot of people including workers not following social distancing. When you go to any aisle it’s crowded and people would bump on you because its crowded.

Please get the Sapporo Ichiban Tonkotsu instant ramen back if you can please!

Very rude staff(Anna). Asked for manager, told that there was no one in charge. Told that manager was on vacation. Staff refused to assist & actually hung up the phone when I asked for a manager.....They dont have a clue in regards to customer service.

If you dont care about rude employees, then Ill say they have a good selection. But those older employees really need a course in customer service. Like one old lady who gave me attitude for not having gloves on before entering (fun fact, Im a doctor and Im well-versed in all the guidelines, as well as what helps prevent disease spread and what doesnt - gloves dont and the ones they offer will rip just a few minutes into the store). Same one yelled at one of the workers outside just because his masked slipped a tad below his nose. Hanyang is right around the corner and theres also Han Nam. The selections are pretty much the same at those locations but the customer service is way better - both to customers and their employees. Definitely not returning here when better options exist

This is my favorite place from yhe food court, to the fish market, and the selection of Asian ingredients to make authentic dishes. Food Court is good break for the shopping. They need to upgrade their website/app. A bit to be more on par with Shoprite or Wegmans where you have recipes and ingredients can be added to your cart on one page.

Extremely uncomfortable 🤬 the produce beautiful, the quality excellent, the options endless, but the atmosphere very unwelcoming just know if u are not of Asian descent you will feel like you are sticking out like a sore thumb and they let you know it. The employees were rude and not helpful at all. If I do decide to return to H Mart and spend my hard earned money I will have my mammason accompanying me..... Shes Korean BTW 🤷🏾‍♀️
