Good thing John Deere makes a good product because their service department sucks. People are friendly and store looks good but try to get something, anything done and it takes an act of Congress. They must have a one man service department and the backup is crazy. Wish Id known that before the purchase.

Chris went above and beyond to make sure I get a tractor I wanted and it was delivered to me on time!

Avoid shopping here if you can. My brother called and asked about a part on our lawn tractor. They suggest he get both pulleys for the mower deck, so we ordered them. I went and picked them up and brought them home well we figured out that we never actually needed the pulleys in the first place and we had already got the tractor up and running. So I make the trip back to Richmond the very next day to return them and everything goes smooth they hand me the receipt with cash on it. This is until I leave, later on I noticed that they gave me the incorrect amount of money back. I was missing $15. I found this very odd so I looked at the receipt and noticed an entry for a $15 restocking fee. There was never any mention of a restocking fee at all. I found this strange that the rep would suggest my brother order a certain part and when that part wasnt what was needed they would take part of the money anyways. The new parts werent even hardly touched by the way. I mean even Walmart doesnt have a restocking fee, and I can definitely understand there being a fee if the part didnt come back exactly the way a customer bought it. I think at the end of the day that Meade Tractor partakes in shady business practices that hurt small business.On top of all of this, I decided to see what the price difference was between Meade Tractor and other online retailers and noticed that these parts online were significantly cheaper, almost 50% less. So thank you Meade Tractor for forcing us to choose amazon over small business.

Travis, Todd, and all the associates at Meade Tractor were refreshingly friendly and extremely helpful. Travis discovered that my Hustler mower was under a parts recall and pursued to obtain the parts necessary for repair. He assisted me by answering thoroughly my questions and gave me complete instructions for my repair and dilemma.
