I was once hired to work there. I was even asked to take a mechanical aptitude test. It only took me 5 minutes to pass. I was an adjuster for a bag company for a great many years. I just wanted to be an operator and work my way up. HR decided I should go in as an adjuster. well let me tell you . the other adjusterS did not like that idea and I was afraid this was going to happen. Needless to stay the floor supervisor for first shift was determined to make me quite. the other operators warned me. no matter what I did it was always wrong. He had me go to lunch one day at 9am. the HR manager had a meeting and while everyone was on there way in I found the news paper. we had five more minutes before the meeting and I found the newspaper. I began glancing over it. the HR manager came up and without a word just yanked the paper out of my hand. did he really think I was going to read a paper during his meeting? WOW what a rude man . Look the fact is there a man on third shift wanted the adjuster position. the adjusters on first shift wanted that guy to have it too. to come in off the street and give the position to me was wrong. I should have been made the machine operator I was applying for on second shift and this other employee who had more seniority should have been moved up to the position of adjuster. KENMORE ENVELOPE owes me and my family and apology for what they did to me. the other adjusters and floor supervisor did what they did intentionally. If they did this to me then they will do it again to another employee. STAY AWAY FROM KENMORE. THEY ARE FAR FROM BEING A FAIR AND HONEST COMPANY!!!!!
