THANK YOU WINDOW WORLD!! We recently had our windows installed by these folks and the crew we had was AMAZING! Not a piece of debris left behind. They were on time and even took the time to walk around with us after to check the install. Very polite team of guys! We had Miss Christina out for an estimate and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable on the products and pleasant to talk to. Looking forward to seeing our energy bills drop. We will be back for siding next spring. Thanks again!
Window World of Richmond did not install flashing on a sliding glass door installation at one of our investment properties causing $3,000 worth of damage to the sill, joists, subfloor, and floor over the course of several years before it was discovered when the floor in front of the slider started to rot. They sent the original installer out to look at the damage but he showed up before scheduled, caulked the top of the slider and left. He claimed that our tenant must have left the door open when it rained. They have not shown any good faith effort to understand the damage and discuss resolution. Have to resort to small claims court. Would never use Window World again.
The commercials on TV are driving me nuts. Not only are they the most unprofessional I have ever seen but then they make you watch them two times in a row. Please develop a new one and play it ONLY ONCE.
Window World by far is the best window company in the world. If you want good quality professional customer service than Window World is the place to do business. My husband and I knew we were doing business with the right place when we met with Christina. She is absolutely the best. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best Christina rates a 10 everytime. Christina doesnt treat you as if you are just a customer number but she treats you like family. She was upfront and honest from day one and followed through until our windows were installed and she still checks on of periodically. The installers did a great job as well. We are most definitely using Window World for our future home improvements because they beat all others. If you are looking to get new windows, doors, or siding look no farther than Window World for satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. We are so thankful that we met Christina and now have a relationship with Window World. I would definitely refer them everytime.
In May we ordered a large picture window. At first everything seemed great, we were given a 6 week time line which seemed a little long but with the world events we figured that was pretty normal. A few days before the windows estimated arrival my husband took out the old window and reframed the opening. 6weeks came and went, no call, no information. My husband finally got a hold of the company and they informed us that it wasnt scheduled to arrive till September. Since then the nightmare has gotten worse, being delayed 2 more times with no information or contact from the company. We have had to call them EVERY time. We still dont have the window and the company offers no alternative solution and basically just says its not their fault. If the customer service was at least some what helpful, I may have given it another star, but to me thats the worst part of it all... Zero communication on their end.
I had about 20 windows replaced in my home about three weeks ago. The gentleman showed up as scheduled, but was all alone….to replace 20 windows. He explained that the other workers had called out. I felt badly that he was going to do this large job all alone in the heat. He completed installation of the windows that day and returned the following day to wrap them. I have since found pieces of metal, nails and parts of the old windows all around the outside of my house, including in my driveway. I honestly do not blame the installer as I am sure he was exhausted after completing the job alone. I am frustrated by the fact that I have to clean up a mess around my house that was part of a job that I paid $9000 to have completed. I could have gotten nails in my tires, or worse, the metal could fly up and injure someone while mowing the grass or my kids could be cut running around the yard. It honestly worries me that there is the possibility that I might experience problems in the future.
Customer service is HORRIBLE!! They have absolutely no concern for their customers. You will not receive any communication concerning theMANY DELAYS!Do yourself a favor, read the reviews on customer service it IS the worst!Run!!! You wont regret it.
We recently renovated our kitchen which included replacing a window. Unfortunately the most stressful part of this process was working with window world. Our private contractor was diligent about reaching out to them and Window World was very difficult to get a hold of and would take weeks to respond. We ordered our window in the beginning of February and the window was not installed until July. We were not frustrated with the delay but rather the lack communication and incorrect communication. At one point in March we were told “the window has arrived on the truck” by Window World, but afterwards they said “never mind, it will be another two weeks.” Again, this was in March. After it was installed we reached out to the supervisor. We were so disappointed with the poor customer service. The supervisor would not take any accountability for the poor communication. She told us to call the manufacturer and that “we did what we were contracted to do.” At one point the supervisor told us “I reached out to your contractor on august 9th when he reached out to me on July 23rd” this is over 2 weeks she took to respond..and she thought this was acceptable. We understand mistakes happen but we were shocked by the way the supervisor handled the conversation. She just had excuse after excuse after excuse and was arguing with us. I cannot recommend anyone use this company. They have no motivation to make their customers happy or to make things right when they mess up.
We contracted with them last year, and finally received our last window today. They had to come out a few times just for 5 windows (3 side by side), as incorrect measurements. Our installer was great so that made up for the hiccups and long wait. Our installer said ask him to measure, as our windows were originally Anderson and need special measuring. I rate them 5 for their installation staff, 3 for customer service. Overall we will work with them and likely use them again.
I had a wonderful experience. Windows look great. Tony and his team were very professional and did a great job with the installment .Customer service kept me up to date with scheduling and assured me things would go smoothly. I also want to thank sales rep Paul Mattox. You told me the windows would look great and they do. Thanks to all.
We bought custom windows with intent to install them ourselves. We have this information to the person who sold it to us. They didn’t tell us we needed to order nailing flanges separately. So that was an extra unexpected 250$ .When we finish remodeling the house we will NOT be using or suggesting them. That added fee doesn’t make their price better then anyone else’s in fact it is more expensive. At least Lowe’s would have included that.
Andrea was professional, efficient and very pleasant to speak with in regards to a warranty transfer I needed done. She went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered, and did an excellent job facilitating the process. She truly cares about her customers!
I don’t even want to give this place 1 star. Been waiting 6 months for pane replacement! Totally unprofessional business!! They contacted wrong number for about a month, failed to show up for several appts finally came and broke another part of window. Warning!! Do not use them!!
My husband called 2 months ago and ordered two replacement window that have a lifetime warranty. They said they would call when they come in. We have never received a call. We called this morning because its been over 2 months. The receptionist told me she could not find our name in the system. I told her we purchased windows about 15 years ago and they have lifetime Warranty my husband even gave them the numbers off the windows when he ordered them 2 months ago. She said if you had windows put in before 2009 we dont have records. I then asked to speak to a manager and was left on hold. I hung up and called back she told me again to hold. She finally came back and said the manager would have to call me back. They had no record of us calling to order the windows.
Absolutely the WORST costumer service Ive ever experienced in my life. First, they forgot one of my four windows and were 45 minutes late months ago. Now I am finally getting my last window and was given a time frame of 8am-12pm. I called around 12:05pm wondering where the installer was and just to get an ETA. I was told I would get a call back from either the installer or someone from the office ( I will not put names ). NEVER got a call, so I wait until 1:30ish to call back and they said I would be the last stop of the day, so still no idea when anyone is coming. Youre poor time management is not my problem. Do not give a time frame if you cannot keep it. I had things to do, trying to figure out what time to put my child down for a nap, and just uprooted my whole day. Completely unacceptable.
I got my windows installed back in July I believe. My representative was Doug. Really nice guy! They were quick an professional an the best part is they were not messy. I will be contacting them again to do my next set of windows. I would highly recommend them. The prices you cant beat.
Worst company to do business with. It has been ten month since we signed the contract and we have yet to get the window installed. The first time they came out to measure they left because they didn’t have a ladder. They then ordered a window but when they came to install it they said they couldn’t because they had measured wrong. They then told me they would come back. They never did. They didn’t even have the decency to call us and tell us what was going on. Till we called them. They then told me they had to order an extra part that it would come in in seven days. Two months went by and no phone call or email to tell us what happened with that part. Once more we called and they tell us the window is in they would call to set up a day to install. What are the chances every time we call they tell us it’s almost ready. Every time.Then months go by. The attitude and rudeness I get from their employees every time I call is unreal. All the meanwhile we’ve had water damage to our house waiting for this window. This time we are suing them. They have so many excuses. Really what they do is steal peoples money.
I referred a family member to use this company; it took about 6 months for a 10 week window/door, install was rescheduled a few times by company, quality of material, cheap, front door was lighter than my bedroom door: company only offered a very very small discount for a big inconvenience; additionally, home owner was threatened with a lawyer while still trying to work through her concerns; and later said he did not use the word lawyer. My advice: 1) You are better off buying a door from Home Depot or Lowes, but if you use them and weeks turn into months for installation, I would rethink my purchase. Also, the rep who collected the work said HE feels the work is exceptional with only a COVID delay, that is a matter of opinion; he dismissed the owners concerns with HIS opinion. Also upon further review this company had delivery issues before COVID.
I signed paperwork to have windows installed back on 2/16/21. The sales rep informed me that orders were being installed 10-12 weeks out. I reached out to the sales rep on 4/28/21 to check the status because I had not heard anything.. He said that someone would reach out to me once the windows were in. So far, I have heard nothing and it has been over 16 weeks since the order was placed. It is disappointing to receive no updates or communication from this company. If this is their customer service process, Im very nervous about how the final product will look (if it even happens). I understand there might be delays due to COVID, etc, however, that should not negate a business from communicating with their customer regarding updates. Im very disappointed.
Ive been using this company for 10+ years and have decided to take my business elsewhere. They dont care about business relationships. For example, I waited 3 months for windows to arrive and to be installed. In the meantime, I had to call once a week to get an update and no one seemed to care; Most companies wouldve given an incentive for their mistakes or mishaps but not Window World. They took their money and kept it going; That was my sign to take my business elsewhere. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR WINDOWS ON TIME AND IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Unfortunately, I am in too deep. So I am posting this in hopes others wont have the same experience. The person who comes out to do the estimate and quote was great. However, as soon as I signed the contract issues began. I signed the agreement at the very end of October. We have yet to get our window fixed. I was told by the man doing the quote it would take 12 weeks due to COVID. I totally understand that. I was told that someone would call to schedule my window, no one ever did. I had to continue to call and follow up. I called and they only had one slot available for February (keep in mind, weve been waiting since October so its been about 14 weeks). I call them back to tell them no, we cannot do that date and the only other option they have is March. The woman on the phone rudely reiterated that I was told it would take 12 weeks. However, really, come March it will be 18 weeks. I recommend doing more research and calling around before you commit to window world. We will not be using them again. I asked to cancel and they said that I only had 3 days to cancel after signing the agreement.
Not that happy with their customer service, the sales person conveyed a lot of confidence and was very good at selling. They did a full window replacement on my house, all the windows and a sliding door. The windows they use are smaller than you would expect, they have very large frames and small windows. As a result the window opening is reduced compared to the original window, the sales person doesnt explain this when selling; the impression you get is youll get the exact same size window only newer and better. Maybe they dont know the difference.The same thing happened with the sliding door, aside from them bringing the wrong door initially and having it open to the wrong side for a month or so. The new door opening ended up being smaller than the door that was there and as it turns out my fathers wheel chair did not fit through the new door. After discussing other options the only viable alternative was to widen the door opening to fit a bigger door, that wouldve ended up being very costly since it would get into structural electrical work that we could not afford. So we ended up accepting the door and having him go through the burden of standing up out of the wheel chair to get in and out of the house.Other small details are about half of the screens dont really lock easily when opened and closed, thats not a huge deal since we dont open the windows often but you would expect these would operate properly on new windows. And small things like a threshold on the new door, the foot lock that was part of the deal was not brought the first, second or third time. They are scheduled to come back in a few weeks, lets see if they bring the correct one.Overall the product is not bad, the overselling is the problem. There are pros and cons to everything and the cons are not laid out during the sale. Below are some pictures of how they fit the sliding door and left no threshold.
My husband and I got the 3 estimates and it appears that everyone is dealing with covid backing up orders on windows not just these folks! We did get our windows installed recently and it was great! Unfortunately we have experienced tough lead times with our other home projects and covid has effected everybody! Our sales person Christina was very knowledgeable on the windows and very nice to work with! Our install crew was very friendly and did a great job! Don’t rule these folks out...thanks window world!
I’ve had a great experience with Window World. I was in need of changing up my home to be energy efficient and a new look. Christina came out who has a wonderful personality and very sweet. This company continues be be unprofessional with how they handle scheduling, customer interaction and customer service. I was told my windows would be in in 8 weeks, it has now been 12 weeks, and when I called to check on my order the customer service rep who answered the phone was extremely rude, and told me it would be another 4 weeks. In my prior experiences with them, they have given me a date for installation, and not come on that date, and not called to even let me know that they were not coming. I do not recommend this company, and after this installation occurs, I will not be using them again.
Failed to show for scheduled appointments 4 times and did not notify me the first few times that they were not going to arrive. Damaged interior trim around one of my windows and left an install that looks bad, did not install screw caps on another window. Found a chip on the glass inside one of the windows between the panes. Zero service, zero calls returned, overall terrible.
We had an appointment for 10am. The sales person Nick showed up at our house at 10 on the phone when we came to the door. He stepped inside, asked us how many windows we had, gave us a quote and said call if you would like to book. He didnt show any samples, look at existing damage, or measure anything. He was gone by 10:05am. I sent an email to window world to complain and received an apology call. We were sent a new rep out and got the full presentation this time. We booked on the spot. Very appreciative of the follow up and quick help received.
Marcus and his crew were at my home today to install 9 new double paned windows and wrap my trim. They crushed it! This was part of a home sale. Window World was very responsive while keeping me in the loop about scheduling. I was informed that they would go in late January, but we were moved up due to a cancellation. Christina our sales rep was awesome and worked with us, knowing this was part of a home sale. I spoke with Tiffney and Gabby (I think) on a weekly basis and they were nothing but professional!
PATHETIC Customer service! Also the corporate office doesnt care either! I will never recommend them to anyone with my experience.

Worst customer service EVER!!! Ordered my windows on November 19th. It is now April 10th and I have no windows. R Miller the salesman promised that there would be no delay due to Covid. They do not call to give updates-- I have called every month. They were to be installed last week. Never called to say it was cancelled, rescheduled for another day. I was to get a phone call between 8-12. It is now 12:30 and no phone call. I have called, but they cannot get in touch with the installer.
I agree that COVID is a factor for many businesses but it is very disappointing when no one follows up or calls to give you a status report. Order windows in September, 2020 and they didnt come in to mid-March, 2021. Came out and never said the big glass window was broken so they were not able to put that in. Said it would come in a week. So far we are on 5 weeks with no window. No updates from anyone and now my bill for the windows are coming in. It is disappointing.
Window World did a great job on our projects. We got new windows and siding. Excellent customer service from the young lady, Christina. She was very knowledgeable on the products and we felt very comfortable with her. The installers were very nice and did a good job cleaning up. Thank you Window World. Highly recommend this company for your projects.
We ordered our windows in September 2020 it is now February 28th 2021. We paid half down as per our contract. Our windows arrived at their facility in November 2020. However, I would never have known this if I had not called to inquire where they were. An installation was scheduled in January for the 12th. They never contacted us regarding the fact that the installation had to be postponed due to the ice storm. They rescheduled for February 28th. It was 11:30 AM when we called only to receive a callback that they were not going to show up to do the install. Still waiting on a new install date...House is getting extensive damage from all the rains, snow and ice. When we started this process we were told 6-8 weeks... when we actually placed the order we were told 10 weeks. Absolutely no communication from this company at all... all communication has been initiated by us. We had high expectations and were excited to be able to finally afford these windows. Look elsewhere for your window needs!

Ordered my kitchen windows beginning of May, 2021. It is now almost the end of October, 2021 and still no windows. I have to call the office to check on the status of my order. Terrible customer service.
Our siding and windows were installed about 2 years ago. The house actually looks great. They were very slow, and things took 2 months longer that said. Not that big of a deal. The BIG problem is water. We have 2 story front porch. From the beginning, water has been getting behind the new siding, at the roof eave of the front porch. We noticed it leaking out from behind the siding on the first floor porch. We called Window World many times. The salesman came out, as did the installer. They told me it was my roof, which is a new standing seam metal roof, which did not leak prior. NO ONE went on the roof to look. I finally went up myself, and found install holes. Looks like I will have to pay another contractor to fix the problem, AND the resulting water damage to our plaster bedroom walls.
Great service! The rep who helped me was very knowledgeable, friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. Although we went with another manufacturer, I’d still recommend this business if you’re shopping for quality windows.
Company installed a defective screen door on a sliding door install. Company was notified in October. In December, company finally scheduled a replacement install. On the day of install, we received a 10 minute notice of arrival. Installer never showed and never called back. In January, install manager Tiffany told us we would have to wait several more weeks for an install. Think twice about who you contract with for windows and doors.
This place is terrible. I bought two windows for my house and the sales person said it would’ve taken 3 to 4 weeks maximum for the windows to be delivered. After 4 weeks I stopped by the store and they told me 2 more weeks and so many excuses. 15 days later I stopped by and they told me again a couple more weeks. So, it’s been 2 months and they don’t have an ETA for the windows. I can’t sell my house because of it. The ladies in front desk are really rude when I argue about the delivery. Worst time ever. I will delete this review if I have my windows in less than a week, otherwise, I am gonna make sure I am gonna leave a review here and in other websites every week.
Good price, however they let us know week of scheduling that not all windows were not delivered so full order could not be completed and did a terrible job on shutter repair. Have been trying to get them to come back and fix shutters (hanging off house) for over a month.

Signed a contract to have sliding glass doors placed July 2nd and still have no doors and here it is the end of the year. Customer service is the worst I have EVER experienced. Have have had 3 installation dates with no shows. If you can wait a year for doors or windows by all means go for it. Otherwise find someone else. I have never been so disappointed in an company before.
Recently we got our windows done with Window World and the whole process was great! We had the pleasure of working with Christina, who we saw reviews of other customers working with her so we were pleased to have such a great sales “woman” :). She answered all our questions (quite the window wizard) and has such a great personality! Our install team, Beck and his partner did a phenomenal job and cleaned up everything! If you need exterior home projects done I recommend Window World! Especially Christina and Beck :)

This is my second experience with them. I also understand we are in a pandemic. Today was to be my install day after months of patiently waiting. I am angry I admit it. On October 5th I was texted at 9:40 pm that my doors were coming in. I got out of bed anxious and begged for first available. The date set for October 21st. The day is here. No day before or day of confirmation. At around 10 am I called to confirm install. Yes they will be there. A few minutes later I get a call from the installers that the screen door is not in do I still want the main door. I say yes. Hang up call corporate and they say give them an hour to find the door. The installers arrive and I am not so nice. They are not wearing masks. I try to stay out of their way and not anger them more. I do apologize at some point. Corporate calls back to say their information is wrong the door did not ship. It will be another 7-10 days and then we will schedule again. I admit I was not so nice through this. If they are not getting deliveries and orders at the rate they were when we weren’t in a pandemic couldn’t someone do a day before check. For the price paid for these doors I do not feel treated fairly. The door is a great improvement. When all the chalk dries we will know more about the quality. The sad part is I like these guys. I just expected more.
I just had all of the windows replaced in my 100+ year old home. The windows are fantastic. However a window is only as good as the installation. The installers who worked on my home were fantastic. They arrived on time and the three man crew installed the 10 very large windows in my house in about four hours. They were polite, and cleaned up after the work was complete. If I noticed something during the installation for which I had questions, they answered them politely and succinctly. Small issues I noticed they were quick to address.I would definitely use them again.

The entire team was professional. Corbin, the salesman, was knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions I had. He was detailed in taking measurements to ensure a proper fit when product was installed. Rue, the lead installer and his team, Harley and Brandon, were personable, efficient, and very skilled. Heather, in scheduling office, was polite and also eager to answer questions in addition to proving me with an installation date and time that worked best for my schedule. The final product of new windows look great and after two nights of extreme heat advisories for my area, I can already tell how much more rnore efficient the Window World windows are than my previous windows! The AC isnt working overtime to cool the house and I am able to set the thermostat at least 6° warmer and my house feels just as cool. I highly recommend Window World. Their products are high quality and their prices cannot be beat!
We had an amazing experience with Window World! We had a big project with 14 windows and 2 doors being replaced. Bobby and his crew were on time for both appointments, did an amazing job both with the work and clean up. Where I would really like to commend Bobby is in his sincere and warm customer service. He was a true professional and my wife and I appreciate his genuine customer service attitude. After meeting Bobby for our first appt. for Windows, I felt comfortable having him and his crew come back and replace our doors while I was at work because he is such a trustworthy and good person. After install our family dog (Ruby) put claw marks in the wet calking on the back door. I called Bobby to ask what type of caulking he used so I could match it up. He quickly replied that I didnt need to buy any, that he would come back and fix the caulking after his last job for the day! This is the true spirit of customer service!! My wife and I would be happy to use this business for future projects and recommend to anyone we know! Thank you Bobby!
The sales department was very considerate and responded to my phone call immediately. A salesman scheduled a meeting for an estimate very quickly. I ordered my special windows. When the windows came in, the installers were polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up before they left. I would recommend Window World. They met my expectations and the windows are beautiful.
Every interaction with Window World, from when Christina came to give an estimate to when the installers pulled out of our driveway, was absolutely fantastic! We have been thoroughly impressed with EVERYTHING! The price, installation and clean-up were nothing less than perfection! Our new windows look phenomenal and we couldnt be happier! A relative in the replacement window business recommended Window World. My experience with them was better than with another local company Id used previously. Their initial contact people were able to answer all my questions. Ive had all my windows replaced now, in two groups. I didnt like that the newer windows feature the logo more prominently then previously, which I find a bit tacky. But I think the quality of the windows, and the installation is as good as youre likely to find.
I have no complaints regarding Window World of Richmond with the initial placements. We did have to get a replacement for a back window. The process was easy but the length of time to me a little bit longer than expected for repair. Only reason getting 4 stars instead of 5. The workers who installed the first time and the worker who installed our repair were hardworking and courteous. No complaints there.
They made an appointment on one day, but when they were supposed to show up, they didn’t, then claim we had an appointment for an estimate on another day, so the next time they were supposed to come out they didn’t, ( we were home the whole day ), they claimed they did come out and looked at the outside, but never approached us inside, we asked them to send us the estimate which they never did. We refused to do business with this company any longer. I guess our house is not in the high dollar area, so I guess we are not part of the party.Bottom line stay away from them
What a friendly professional company! We have had two sets of windows installed and each experience was great! The salesman explained the process and the installers knew what they were doing. They worked well together and cleaned up after themselves. They installed a great product! Thank you for traveling to our rural home.
Window World replaced all of our builder grade windows in our house about 15 years ago and they still look like new. So easy to clean too. The difference in how warm our house stays in the winter is amazing. There is absolutely no wind coming through our windows anymore not to mention how nice they all look. I just saw their display at the home show recently and they are coming out to give me an estimate on a new patio door. I would not hesitate to use them again or do you recommend them to any of my friends
Although we did have some problems with repairs initially, I have to say Window World of Richmond came through for us!Moe, expert installer and his assistant Tony arrived on time; did a complete remake of the entire door and frame with all new and improved products; professional, efficient, friendly and helpful; cleaned job site thoroughly and even posed for a pic (at my request). Moe explained changes and improvements to the door installation and framework. He was very knowledgeable of the product and what was required for a good job.

Window world was supposed to arrive between 8:00-12:00. They called me at 7:20 and arrived by 7:45! The three men jumped out of the truck and went right to work, quickly removing my old casement windows and putting in my new ones. The installers were very courteous. They arrived on time and had all windows installed pretty quickly. My new windows look great. They also have a little tint on them which I like as you cant see from the outside as you do with untinted windows. Our experience was great and the installers answered all questions we asked along the way. I would highly recommend Window World. Very satisfied customer.

My install date got delayed because of a torrential down pour. They rescheduled me for the very next business day! The crew that worked on my house were timely, professional, friendly, and fast. After they finished, there wasnt a shred of evidence that anyone had been there besides the brand new windows! Highly highly highly recommended. Will definitely use for my next home improvement project.
Helping a friend out with some windows that This location installed. He purchased the house, a month after the windows had been installed. The homeowners is currently experiencing leaks from a improperly installed window.I work in the restoration industry, so I came to look at the leak he has. The windows had to be retrofitted because of the age of home. Improper installation flashing was used, which had resulted in the water pooling up under a window, and then entering the home.I would avoid this company if you are looking for interior/exterior work and go with someone else.
I had a great experience with Window World, most specifically the installation crew. They were so friendly and informative. It started to rain and they finished the job and did not complain once. Very thankful for the nice job they did. I was able to return to work for the second half of the day so they were speedy as well.
The three technicians who came out to install our windows were polite and knowledgeable about what they were doing. They installed the windows quickly and efficiently and even found a way to give me a credit for a previously-replaced window. I would definitely recommend Window World.
After spending well over $10,000 with them over the years, the last two times Ive tried to use them, I received the worst customer service I think Ive ever experienced. The last time they came to my home, they actually damaged it. The guy who came to repair it was nice enough that I thought Id give them one more try. I had 3 windows to order. I know their process. Should have been an EASY SELL. I even told them, send me the guy who just needs to make his numbers, because this is an easy sell. They just have to be nice to me. They came out and took the measurements. I was supposed to receive a contract to sign. I never got it. Followed up 3 weeks later - they couldnt find my estimate in the system. The guy I spoke to couldnt answer a basic question about financing and actually got really rude with me about it. He ended up hanging up on me. TURNS OUT THAT GUY WAS THE OWNER! ONE OF THE OWNERS ACTUALLY HUNG UP ON ME, A PAYING CUSTOMER WITH A LARGE APARTMENT BUILDING - with many windows that are over 100-years-old and need to be replaced. As soon as they found out I was going with Window Depot instead, the guy called to apologize. WAY TOO LATE, buddy. Very disappointed. I gave them every chance in the last year to correct their customer service and installation crew mistakes (Ive been in sales, so I get it, its rough sometimes). However, they failed every time. I was much more satisfied with Window Depot, and the prices were almost the same. Dont waste your time and money. No amount of money you think youre going to save is worth the frustration.
Window World was quick to come out and give us an estimate. They gave a competitive bid and scheduled our installation quickly, as we wanted our house to be listed for sale ASAP. The slight installation delay was weather related. But, we got our new windows. The house looked great. Value was added. Were confident offers will soon follow. Thanks Window World! !
They do a lot of work in Settlers landing in Chesterfield Va. Friends recommend them to me. One friend showed me her windows and told me how much she spent. I called them and they came right out. Measured my windows, explained the installation process and lifetime warranty and quoted the work. Competitive price and high quality product and work! I LOVE MY NEW WINDOWS! I have purchased replacement windows from Window World on 2 occasions and both time, had a good experience with their salesman, schedulers and installation crews. Love my new windows and they have some nice features that I did not get with windows from another supplier 8 years ago. I highly recommend Window World and will use them again.
Years ago I had 8 windows replaced by this company, all 8 have leaked due to improper installation. I have had to replace sheetrock, flooring, trim and had my counter tops repaired. The customer service is appalling, the installers are unskilled and lack manners. They left a window unfinished for two years, then did a terrible job when they did try to finish it.
Wonderful looking windows! Took a crew of 3 about 4 hours to remove 23 old windows (2 story house), install new, caulk and wrap exterior. Very quick professional job. Did have 1 window that was shipped crack. Sash will be replaced in about 1-2 weeks.
Very professional company from start to finish. They even installed my window in the rain! Nothing stops window world from getting the job done. Give them a chance, they will not fail to impress.
Wonderful working with Window World. I called for an appointment and they were able to fit me in the following day. The associate was on time and well dressed for a great first impression. The experience was very easy and straight forward. Windows were in after a little less than 4 weeks. Installation crew had nothing but class A gentlemen making it comfortable to leave them in my home without me there. The workmanship was the same as well. When the crew was finished, there was no trash left behind for me to pick up. Everything turned out the way it should have. I got a quote from Lowes as well. They were more expensive and did not come with nearly as much. I would recommend Window World to anyone looking into getting 1 or 100 windows.

First is the work crew showed up on time. They verified measurements before removal of the old windows and once verified, the entire job of 15 windows was completed in less than 3 hours - with crew of 3. Once install was complete the windows were caulked and the work site cleaned you would never know they were there except for....wait for it.......BEAUTIFUL new windows. The crew was very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend Window World to anyone. My most humble thanks for a great job done.
Bought a Townhouse and had Window World install all new energy efficient windows in August 2016. The workers were very courteous, efficient and speedy. All of my windows were installed in a timely fashion and the workers left my house very clean. The windows look great and kept me warm through the winter. I would highly recommend Window World to everyone, and have already recommended them to family who used them as well.
They delivered my 11 windows in 4 weeks from order. Was there to install in time frame window. Worked non-stop and professionally. Kind and courteous. And install done in a couple to 3 hours. Have used them in the past and will continue to use them

I called Window World for an estimate for my patio door. The salesman came out and took measurements and explained everything to us. The price was reasonable compared to other places we had checked. We agreed on the price and selected a door. They called with a time that the installers would be there and they were right on time. The installers were friendly and courteous and told us what they were going to do. They took out the old door, put in the new one and cleaned up their work area. After the installation, my husband and I checked the door why they were still here and we were very satisfied with their work. I would recommend Window World.
I am greatly disappointed window world they had not satisfied my contract at the time i lost my job. i asked if they could excuse me from the contract since they had not started the work and we did not have a appointment set because i was hardship and could not pay them . window world response was they took me to court and sued me for breach of contract. no humanity given with this company and be leary because the judge ruled in their favor even though i had no money to pay and they never started or completed the job.
Took longer than was told to get a install date - and was told time they will be there 8am -11 for the install -and after half the day waiting for them not to show up -and after i call the office and they try to say i have a 3-5pm appt when the e-mail they sent me said 8-12!!! i get a call about 1230 from the installer and he tells me they are running late and will be another half hour at least before them get there - and i now have to repair inside window trim they damaged that i found after they left - the windows look nice - not very good install job
Great company to work with...love the windows. We have some Anderson windows in an addition we put on our house before we used WW. Have to say we like Window Worlds better. Easier to use and they look great. I would highly recommend this company!
This was the best experience from the greeting to the sales presentation to answering all the questions that were addressed to the placement of the Windows as well as questions after installation. They have a great team which gives you a great experience. I would deal with them again. I hope they never lose the value if customers are important and should be listened to and not imposed on with ideas outside of what the customer wants or needs installed. The workers are very good but the window world inside workers are the worst never again.
I have been upgrading the windows in my house a piece at a time and have spent a considerable amount of money on the windows I purchased. My only concern was the installation.It doesnt matter how much you spend if not installed properly, you will have issues ongoing.After my first set were installed by Mo at window world I have never worried once. Not only is he and his team courteous, on schedule, neat and thorough he continues to follow up a week or two after the install to ensure we were happy. In all of my time having people come to the house to do work I have never experienced this level of professionalism or customer service.I recently updated my last set from the same company and received a different team. Even though Mo was not assigned he knew that there were new windows going in. He waited a month and then called to see if I was good. It turns out that the other crew had missed some caulking and had not finished in a couple of sections. Without prompt or cost Mo showed up to my house the next day and took care of the additional work. He stated that he sees his customers as his personal responsibility and takes my perception of the upmost priority.The windows aside the quality of service related to this guy and his crew is worth a referral dues to he work ethic, quality and customer service.I only wish he did more than windows.Definitely 1 in a million!!!Thank you Mo!!
Mo and his team were outstanding. They were on time and ready to work. Mo kept me updated throughout the day. They were courteous and extremely professional. I am recommending Window World to my friends and family. But they must request Mos team. Thanks for making my home beautiful again. We heard about Window World from one of our close friends on what a wonderful job they did for there home. They highly recommended them and stated that they are reasonably priced and they will work with you on whatever you need. We called and schedule an appointment to see what they had to offer over there competitors. It turned out to be much better than we thought. Window World is very friendly and will answer any and all of your questions no matter how small they may be. We started out with 3 windows at first to see if it meet our expectations and it did, but that was 6yrs old and soon after we decided to have all of the first floor done. A year later, we had the remainder of the windows replaced upstairs. The best part is the warranty.........should you ever have a problem, call them or visit any of the locations and speak with any of the employees. The windows and screens are guaranteed for life. We highly recommended using Window World in your home. Much better than the contractor grade windows and the other competitors as well. Window Window sticks by there promise and we took them to the challenge a few years ago on an issue we had with the chalking and window screens. They came out the next day and fixed it. What do you have to lose......try it yourself. You wont be disappointed........
I had 9 windows and a sliding door installed in a rental house about 90 miles from Richmond WW. The order was placed in late 2015 but I was informed installation would be 6 weeks away. Then there was bad weather for two appointments but third time was the charm and the installers were very friendly and hard workers. The sliding glass door opened in the wrong direction so that was reordered, but again the installers were very nice and efficient. The windows look great and work well! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is I do recall having trouble communicating via telephone with the office staff although Kaitlin was helpful and so was Mike.
Just recently got my windows installed. The team arrived within the allotted time frame. They were polite, courteous, and answered all my questions. Installion wasn’t long and they cleaned up after themselves. I, now, know what ‘window love’ is. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
I have no complaints about them from the salesman up until the install. I had a great experience with the sales man, he give me a price at half the cost of two other companies I went to. From the time I put 50% down to when they installed was right at 6 weeks. The install took all of 4 hours for 9 windows and they cleaned after themselves real well. Would definitely recommend!!
I was told I would have my windows installed at certain date by sales representative and was several months later after the date. Received horrible customer service.
Representatives were knowledgeable and honest. Managers communicated well and even offered an earlier installation date. Installation was surprisingly fast and efficient, and the team present was patient and direct with our questions.
I had a wonderful experience with WW. I love my windows, especially the esse of cleaning. The patio door l had installed is top notch. The quality is there. My guest all say how nice & heavy they are. Im looking for another project that I can have them do.
