Good place to shop. Can not beat the price. Dog and cat treat. My pets love the food.

Definitely updated a lot within the last few years. I mostly come here for event decorations and containers. Sometimes, you just find a gem. Not everything is exactly 99 cents. With them adding new items and some times mainstream brands, it could be $1.99 or more. Their produce section has a variety, although it gets messy or misplaced by customers. More than not, the line does get pretty long. Also, bring a quarter if you want to use a cart. Otherwise, the basket is available for free.

Theyve decreased the food selection at this store by a lot! I always came here to get some good drinks and some ingredients for food, but not anymore! I just would like to know why.

Big store! Has so much, at such good prices! They even carry Lactose free milk, and organic milk too!

Had to complain about the wait time in line. Theres no sense on time to move the line when theres only two registers open and theres more customers than cashiers. Theres no courtesy to the disable with standing limitations.

I still like this store a lot but you can no longer be called 99 cent only truthfully.. theyve added a lot of things that cost$2.99 $3.99 so you have to be a little more aware of your purchases.. they have disposable face masks for$5.99 for 50 which is a great deal.. we cant find them any cheaper than that.. they also have quite an assortment of fresh produce not organic but much cheaper than Safeway Luckys etcetera.. you cant go in there to purchase one thing without coming up with a shopping cart full of stuff.. enormous section of ethnic spices you have to go there to experience it..

Always fast and organized inside the store. Even if there is a line to get in, rest assured it will move quickly. They are fully stocked with anything you can imagine you dont exactly need but will purchase anyway because its cheap.

Well its a nice place to shop, with all the different things in there. You might find something you like and then something else you like the possibility are endless, so check it out and have some fun take a friend with you

The phone number on the 99 cent only store on klose way in Richmond has a non-working number I had gotten that actual number thats thats on the website from the pinole store which is always perfect and I was looking for a special item they gave me the number to the one theyre in Richmond and it was a didnt go through it was disconnected or whatever and are changed but theyd have not updated it on the website so I get on the website to make sure double it and its the same number so now I got to like go to a new 99 cent store and Im not social distancing very well with this... 99 cent store on klose way, Richmond....update your store phone number please!!?? I like this place. They have a big variety of thingsToday 9/11, I was a little disappointed that they didnt have my favorite peanuts (p.nuddles toffee peanuts)

Have good products overall. Some of the stuff is overpriced for the quality. Produce is decent.

I already like this store. Especially this location. I went a couple of days ago and it is rare when I stand in awe in any retail location. But stand in Awe I did! f you know anything about this store, you know not everything is .99 - so what. There is enough of stuff that is... but did you know they carry licensed merchandise - toys. Not crappy plastic stuff that imitates kids favorites... they are the actual characters. I went there to get some Christmas decor and left with a holiday hoard... my little pony, frozen, trolls, Cinderella doll with sewing machine and the little mermaid. Not even $40 for all. Even on a wee budget, you can get your babies some great stuff for the holiday. Dont forget to grab something to donate to a child much less fortunate as well. Thanks .99

Awesome, my favorite. Its big and roomy. Lots to choose from. Plus you can buy produce and frozen foods. Butter, milk and eggs. Sometimes there are name brand items. There is plenty of parking

Youll be surprised how they still stay in business for the prices they sell their stuff for. They have fruits that at that price made me very nervous to try. But the grapes that I got are sweet and fresh and hard to believe only cost that low. There are also other small items you need in the house that will cost so much when you get it from Home Depot or Lowes. I definitely come by this store and find things that are useful on a daily basis and yet dont mind the money that comes out of my pocket. The most I have spent so far is $30 and that is a lot for what I got in this place!

This place use to be a lot better! The lines are super long and you can find more employees on the floor stocking then actually at the register. You can find the floor dirty and open items everywhere. And baskets of go backs that never seem to find there way back on the shelf.

This 99¢ store is huge. Ive only been there a few times but Im going to be a regular shopper now.I can always find plenty of great produce, frozen foods, & the things I need to make my cheesecakes.I save a lot of money shopping here compared to the stores Ive been shopping at.I can never go in and just buy a few things. I always find myself stocking up on items that will last me for awhile.I find this store to be clean & the cashiers friendly.

Its what is States 99 cent store but you can find stuff but you can get stuff up to 799 you pay for what you get

Horrible customer service!!!!!! They are rude, knowledgeable, and dont appreciate valuable customers who SPEND A LOT OF MONEY MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK A FEW TIMES A DAY EVEN!!! BOTH STORES ARE HORRENDOUS!! THE OTHER ONE IS WORSE BECAUSE YOU GET MISTREATED IN TWO LANGUAGES THE FILIPINO CASHIERS ARE RACIST AND RUDE CLEARLY MAKING FUN OF CLIENTS! I like the fact you find many things every time I walk in ...I gave them 3 would have given them 5 if it wast because of their customer service .. They are always terrible, rude with attitude ...there is another 99 store in San Pablo Avenue (more towards Pinole) they dont have as much as hilltop one ...but their customer service is great!! They should go iut and train the ones from Hilltop, just an advice.

The store was busy. Associates busy stocking, helping customers. All checkstands were open and still there were lines. My cashier was freindly and efficient.

Only 2 lanes open. Cashiers as extremely slow and register even slower. Our cashier didnt make eye contact nor did she greet us.Edit: the bathrooms were beyond disgusting they had pooped toilet paper on the toilet seat and the 1st stalls toilet was filled to the brim with green sewage...I walked out of the bathroom soo fast to avoid my child from seeing such filth, you should be ashamed of your staff

A bit of a misnomer now, since there are many items that are more than 99 cents. And it is not clear which of these items cost more, so watch the register closely when being rung up.
