Kamborian has moved from their Carytown location but theyre amazing as ever! Was recommended to Kamborian by some gym friends. Joey worked with us through all my hemming and hawing, several appointments, and multiple times of changing my mind when my husband and I went in to look at rings. Ended up with something beautiful and much larger than I ever would have imagined! He even got the ring there in time for our elopement in March right before the covid shut down! Joey was friendly responsive and invested into making everything perfect. Would absolutely recommend Kamborian over ANY other shop. Thank you so much!

I purchased my fiancees engagement ring from Kambourian Jewelers. After fruitlessly searching around online and in stores for a setting that I felt was good, I came across KJ and talked with Joey for a while one evening. It was a breath of fresh air after speaking to many jewelers that I couldnt bring myself to trust.We worked together for the better part of two months to find a center stone that met my standards, with him screening out overpriced stones for me along the way. After viewing many stones in person, we finally selected one, and we then worked together to build the setting. I had a concept in my mind that I had described to Joey, and within a week we had a beautiful CAD model of what I wanted. We went through a few revisions afterwards but the end result was a refined version of the initial CAD model. 3D printed models were constructed along the way as well as high resolution renders.The ring was created shortly after, and I was sent (by request) photos of the creation process along the way. I was worried about the finish quality of custom jewelry (not to knock of Etsy jewelers, but theres some rough ones out there), but the ring came out very well polished and smooth.In the end, she loves it, and Im very happy with how it turned out. I was surprised at how good of a product we received, especially coming in below my budget. If engagement rings are your thing, you may as well own it and make the best of it. The whole process was a fun creative outlet, and I enjoyed it from start to finish.

I just had my first experience with Kambourian Jewelers and could not be happier. I love supporting family owned and operated businesses, and they really are family owned and operated. I was escorted by Mr. Kambourian’s daughter to their office. She was extremely pleasant, engaging, and professional. Her father was welcoming, kind mannered, and also very diligent. After receiving an extremely fair price for my silver, with no negotiation, Mr. Kambourian earnestly thanked me for doing business with his family. And honestly, it was such a positive experience that I will be looking for more opportunities to do business with them in the future.

I had a very pleasant experience at Kambourian Jewelers today. They offered me almost twice as much for my gold ring as the other gold buyer I visited. They were friendly and took the time to educate me on the process to evaluate gold for sale.The store is clean and organized and they have a fine selection of Jewelry even though I was not looking to purchase today. I would definitely recommend this business based on their service level alone and I especially appreciate that they are a local business.

I went to get a clasp repaired on my necklace. I had all of the pieces. The customer service was very personable & efficient. Because I had all of the pieces, I needed their vision & tools. So I was looking for a diamond engagement ring. Studio K gave me the BEST service. I walked in, sat down in the back, looked over diamond after diamond. I was looking for the absolute best diamond for the setting I had chosen.After pouring over the most extensive diamond collection possibly on the east coast, I finally found the absolute PERFECT diamond for me. The end result was the most beautiful diamond ring Ive ever seen.I couldnt have found a better price either. I searched all over and they treated me like family.If youre looking for a diamond and you go anywhere else, you are just wasting your time and your money.

WOW! My fiance had my engagement ring completely designed here! It is absolutely unique, one of a kind, gorgeous in every way! I am in love with the vintage design! They also provided us with the original drawings which is a huge bonus! We will have it framed! When we had to get my ring sized, we walked in and they did it in a matter of 30 minutes for me! Great work!

Kambourian Jewelers, and Joey in particular, was awesome to work with in the engagement and wedding ring buying process. Joey paid a lot of attention to detail and made sure I got exactly the rings that I wanted—from the beginning of the process and picking out the stones, to the design of the eternity band. We had shopped around quite a bit before coming into the store, and knew after talking with Joey that we were getting much lower prices on the rings we were planning to order. We were able to get both the engagement and weddings bands (together) for less than the price other places had quoted us for the engagement ring alone. Absolutely cannot speak highly enough of this business!

Although they have a great selection my fiance and I didnt actually buy anything there. We had some jewelry to sell and they helped us figure out how much everything was worth. For a couple items the jeweler recommended that we try to sell them ourselves. We were able to find a buyer for a piece and Studio K let us have the transaction take place in their store. They were able to answer all the questions the buyer had and helped us sell the piece of jewelry. The staff is very helpful, knowledgable, and honest. We will definitely go back there next time were shopping for jewelry.

I was impressed, and surprised by Studio K; they are outstanding! In a time where everyone is buying your old gold scraps and paying a fraction of what its worth, Studio K pays the actual gold price (minus a tiny commission, of course; they are running a business after all)! The whole staff is highly knowledgeable and pleasant, and they have an excellent selection of non-cookie-cutter, unique jewelry. The ONLY drawback is parking in the area. Other than that, they are my new favorite jewelers in Richmond!

Hands down, the best place in RVA to buy jewelry of any kind. I had my (now wifes) engagement ring and wedding band custom designed and made here. The staff is able to design prototypes on a computer, and 3D print the ring concept before ever casting it in metal. Thats an incredibly helpful step in visualizing what the final product will look like, and also makes design changes easier and faster. Additionally, they went over and above to find diamonds that were absolutely perfect. When little bumps along the way didnt go as planned, the staff always made it right and with a big smile. My wife is thrilled with her rings, and constantly gets compliments on both the beauty and the uniqueness of both of her diamond rings from Kambourian. Id absolutely recommend them to everyone, and it is the only place that Ill be buying jewelry in the future. (Also, dont miss their collection of estate pieces for sale. There are some really cool, unique pieces in there!)

I had a wonderful experience at Kambourian! I was shopping for an engagement ring for my fiancee and truly had no idea where to begin. As daunting as this experience can be, Joey, Becky, and the rest of the store workers were very patient in describing each ring and how well or how poorly my familys heirloom diamond would match with each design. They gave me advice on popular designs, but at the end, they allowed me to pick what I thought best for my future wife. I only gave them about 2 and half weeks to order the setting and design my custom ring, but they finished it just in time before I left for Texas to propose over Thanksgiving. All in all, great service at an affordable price. Still new to the Richmond area, it is very comforting to know of a local jeweler that I can trust.

After weeks of shopping around, I had my fiances engagement ring made at Kambourian Jewelers. They are truly the only store in RVA that will hand make your ring and create an original design that is not pieced together from a website. The atmosphere is very relaxed - you will feel like you are working with true artisans and not a high pressured sales person. I worked with Joey and he was amazing! Not sure how they calculate gold....went in yesterday with a 14k gold chain that they said weighed 34 grams even though another jeweler told me it weighed 40 grams. Even at the lower weight they claimed they only offered $530.00!!! If you use the calculator they provide you can see that is almost HALF of the value. I am not desperate for cash,just wanted to get rid of a chain that I got as a gift and will never wear so I kept it rather then give it away for such a small amount. Please be careful and shop around for the best price! I overheard another lady in there state that her calculations must have been off as they were offering her less as well....

The friendliest people in the industry! Nathan checked my GIA number to verify it was what it was and they gave us a second opinion appraisal even though I didnt get my ring from them. Ill definitely come back for future jewelry purchases. Believe it!

I originally was going to go another Jeweler, but Studio was closer. I brought a lot of my gold. These guys had the nerve to offer me 350 for my gold when other people were offering 500 to 600. Totally, lowballing kind of guy. He even had the nerve to tell me some of my gold was not gold, when the same gold was taking to other jewelers and verified. Not friendly, not ethical, and not receiving my business.

This place is a joke. They offered me $850 for a ring well worth $8000

Thirty eight years ago I visited Haig Kambourian Jeweler in downtown Richmond along with a lovely girl who had just become my fiance. We were shopping for a wedding ring and what we found in this little jewelry shop was a selection quite unlike any we had seen in any of the other fine jewelers we had visited. There were many rings that had unique and hand made looks and we very soon spotted a beautiful ring which we chose to be my wedding band. It was made of two different types of gold, giving it a two tone look with outer bands on each side of yellow gold surrounding a ring of overlapping green gold leaves in the center.I wore the ring for many years but, unfortunately one day I lost it.I made a claim with my insurance and was required to produce an appraisal in order to complete the claim. Having never seen any advertisements for Kambourian Jewelers I actually felt the little shop where I got my ring must be long gone. I was pleasantly surprised to find Kambourians was still in business.When I came to the store I found myself speaking to the grandson of the man who had sold me my ring. He told me that the ring was indeed a hand made ring that his family still painstakingly produces and showed me a beautiful new ring just like my original in his case.Kambourians was exceedingly kind to provide me with an appraisal at no cost because the ring was originally purchased from them.My thanks to Kambourians for your most excellent customer care and also for carrying forward your great tradition of unique hand made jewelry!
