My favorite dessert spot in Richmond. Actually- my favorite ever dessert spot anywhere. I just LOVE the River City Mud Drop and they have a good variety of other treats as well. It always smells amazing inside and the staff are always friendly and nice. I highly recommend Morsels to anyone!

Wow… where to begin. We hired Morsels to do our wedding cake and dessert table. We’re not big dessert people but every one of our guests now thinks we have the most amazing taste in desserts because everything was SO GOOD!! Not one piece of dessert was leftover and we ordered like twice as much as we needed! the golden Oreo bars and pignolis were our favorites. We’ve never cared a ton for wedding cake but ours was sooooooo good. Thank you Adrianna, Andrea and Team!!!!

Morsels desserts are so great! We went to two different places for cake tastings for our wedding, and Morsels was by FAR the best! I love cinnamon, and was so happy that they offer cinnamon icing! We wanted a dessert table with lots of different desserts as well as a cake for cutting, and that is exactly what Morsels did for us at a VERY REASONABLE price! We got bride and groom cake balls on top of our cutting cake and it was so unique looking! We had several questions along the way and they were always very quick to respond to emails. They even delivered everything to the venue for us and set up the dessert table which looked fabulous. I give them 10 stars!!!!!! I only wish we lived closer to Morsels so we could go get desserts from them whenever we wanted to!

A hidden gem! Such lovely treats at a reasonable price (got 7 diff things for under $30). I would have taken a pic but I ate mine! The river city mud drop and the monster bar were my favorites.

My husband and I used morsels for the desserts and cake at our October 18th wedding. Our original wedding date was supposed to be May but postponed to October due to COVID. The ladies at Morales we’re positive, communicative and easy to work with throughout all of our changes for our new fall date. They were able to change most of the details in our order for more fall like desserts- like chai snickerdoodle cookies and pumpkin whoopie pies- both of which were a HUGE hit with our guests. There was a bit of miscommunication in our tiered cake flavor but the presentation of the cake was beautiful and exactly what I had been envisioning for our big day! I would recommend shopping local and supporting such a fun loving pair of women- they will make your cake dreams come true!

We couldn’t be happier with our choice to have Morsels supply us with our wedding desserts. We chose to have a small cake, cupcakes, and other desserts to create a fall-themed dessert bar. The owner, Adrianna, was always quick to communicate and accommodated us with a thorough tasting of her available options that fit our request. The some of the fall desserts were not available when we first picked Morsels but she made sure we received samples once they became available. Morsels pricing was very competitive and it was great to work directly with a small business owner. As you can imagine, everything Morsels made is incredible and all our guests loved everything they provided. The cake, cupcakes, pumpkin Nutella bars, bourbon apple pie bars, and pumpkin whoopie pies filled out our dessert bar perfectly! When we got back to our hotel after the reception, we discovered that Adrianna surprised us with a special box of assorted other dessert bars in our to-go bag. Adrianna and her team are great people and we couldn’t have been happier with choosing Morsels!

It was okay. The young ladies working there were very sweet. We got the pistachio blondie and it didn’t taste very fresh. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, and other menu items are better.It was also very expensive, 4.50 per bar and it wasn’t that big.

Quaint little desert shoppe with friendly barista. Wish there was more seating outside. Great deserts! I would recommend.

I fell in love with this place when I walked through the door.Theres so much postive energy and great service.I can tell she has a passion and love for creating wonderful treats.

I have tried just about everything there and have loved them all, especially the Carmelitas. You may think the prices are a bit high, but the desserts are rich and somewhat filling, so they equal two servings for me.

Our cake was perfect! It looked exactly like the picture we wanted and tasted so good! Thank you Adrianna!

I wanted a customized version of the three- layer almond buttercream for my mothers 86th birthday. The cake was beautifully done (Adrianna honored one substitution by making the middle layer chocolate), extremely rich (just a tad sweet but delicious!) and the family enjoyed it. We will be using Morsels again. Wonderful job .

This a great place to go for a quick dessert after dinner or a dessert date. The employees are very nice. I had some trouble with a gift card my first time going and they gave me what I ordered on the house. That really shows how understanding and kind they are. Also, the dessert hit the spot. :)

Adrianna and Andrea were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! From the cake tasting to adding desserts along the way it was the best process! We gave them free reign for the cake design (because we are not artistic at all and you might as well have the best of the best do it!) and it came out absolutely beautiful!! We could not have asked for better people to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Had come to this place a few times before. But tonight I was extremely disappointed. We got our usual “Mud Drop” and it has not one but 4 hairs in it. Gross. Was hoping for better. Will not be back.

We made a trip over after dinner out recently and the desserts were phenomenal! We had the Millionaire Bar, Lemon Bar, and (I think) some sort of Raspberry Bar. All were decadent and absolutely delicious! We will be back again.

Every time I have visited Morsels, I have left happier than I was the time before. The staff are wonderful & friendly, the owner is an amazing person, and the treats.... AMAZING!There are so many options, it is hard to decide. But there are no bad choices. Even the gluten free items are truly scrumptious.They have gift cards too! A great idea for gifts & more.

We were walking to our car after dinner when Morsels caught our eye, so we went in to see what they had to offer. Simply put, they have A LOT to offer. I got a monster bar, which I had to cut in half to save for the next day. It was delicious. My wife got a cup of ice cream which she really liked. Such a great little spot with tons of choices to satisfy any sweet tooth. We will definitely be going back soon.

Best. Desserts. Ever. You have to try the desserts here. They are AMAZING! Every one of the varieties is delicious. The bars are expensive but last a couple days, unless you cant stop yourself from devouring the whole bar in one sitting. Try this place, you wont regret it! The staff is amazing as well!

We found this delightful spot tonight and I am so glad that we did. There is a great selection to choose from and everything is delicious! The owner was sweet as can be and gave our daughter a special treat. We will definitely be back again and again!

This place is fantastic. The dessert selection is too extensive, to the point where it is hard to decide what to get. Often we end up leaving with too much because we cant pick just one. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. The staff is very helpful and patient while you decide. A great place to stop in if you have just eaten at one of the many restaurants on the street. Well be back today, and tomorrow, and any day they are open!

I love this place! They were open late on a Saturday night and still had a great selection of desserts to go with the coffee they served. Would love to give it six stars!

We used Morsels for our wedding cakes and our experience was exceptional from the get-go. We scheduled a tasting for which we got to choose 5 cakes and 5 frostings to try...and they were all delicious! We did a small cutting cake and a sheet cake in the back for guests, both were lemon cake with vanilla buttercream icing. They delivered them to our venue for us the day-of. The staff at Morsels is so hard working and so friendly...you cant go wrong letting them take care of the sweetest part of your wedding day!

The red velvet brownie was pure bliss! Will be going back soon...

Adrianna of Morsels Bakery and I communicated via email and text about a special cake that I wanted for my mothers 70th birthday party. She not only created my vision, she did it perfectly. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and tasted fantastic! My mother was elated and guest raved about it. I live in Atlanta, but all of my family and friends are in Richmond, VA.
