The pharmacy team here is atrocious and flat out rude. If you cant hear a customer, theres an appropriate way to speak to them. Ive submitted a formal complaint and the pharmacist pretended she wanted to discuss it further via a boiler plate thank you for your feedback email, but she has been unresponsive since 2/6/21. For months I used this location without issue, but I wont tolerate being spoken to like that. They had their chance to rectify the issue and they failed.
Worst place ever, the lady doing the test, she is soooooooo rude.
The staff here is rude and will make minimal effort to help you even when they’re not busy it’s horrible
Just called the store and they had the worst customer service. Person on the phone was rude and had no customer service experience. Would not recommend
Filthy disgustingly dirty store and restrooms. No hand sanitizers or hand washing soap available for customers. Shameful behavior on a major retailer and drugstore especially during a Covid pandemic .
Stood in line a respectful 3 feet from the counter for 5 min. All the staff behind the pharmacy counter saw me and no one says “I’ll be with you or anything”. A woman goes up to the counter (3 ft in front of me) and is helped immediately. None of the other employees say anything.
So, my only complaint is the interaction I had with one female pharmacy tech at this location (I’m praying she was just a tech, and not a pharmacist!). I was trying to get my Adderall refilled, and despite the date my doctor wrote the prescription to be filled, they wouldn’t fill it, as I was late getting my previous prescription filled. Why was I late? Because they didn’t have it in stock. My doctor called it in, due to Covid-19 changes. So normally, I just take my paper prescription to a different pharmacy. This time, since it was sent electronically, I couldn’t have it transferred to another location. So fast-forward to today. The tech was very aggressive and abrasive, but what blew my mind the most is that she said “you can’t fill narcotics more than 30 days apart”. I told her Adderall was a schedule II controlled medication, but it’s most certainly not a narcotic. Narcotics are downers. Adderall is the opposite. It’s an upper. Then she started laughing at me saying I was wrong, and tried to make me feel like an idiot. I again disagreed and said it’s NOT a narcotic. Yes it’s a DEA schedule II controlled medication, but it’s NOT a narcotic. She just yelled again that I had no idea what I was talking about. . .I went to Johns Hopkins B*tch. It’s time for you to brush up on your drug classes.Handy little tip for the future? Narcotic = downer. Adderall = upper. Both can be schedule II controlled substances. Both are not narcotics.
Extremely rude pharmacists. Would not honor rate all other CVSs honored.
In comparison to the small town CVS Pharmacy I use now due to moving away from Richmond, this Willow Lawn CVS location was far superior to the CVS I now use. They never had to order items for me and if they did, they were processed much more quickly. I never had issues with this CVS and have debated making the hour drive to have my RXs filled here just to avoid the hassles I go through every month with my local CVS.
I’ve been going to this CVS pharmacy for years now and it was always pretty reliable. Suddenly in the past few months they’re constantly backed up, behind, or out of stock. I’ve had issues with the last three trips I’ve taken there to pick up prescriptions. Just tonight I called at 5 and they told me my medication would be ready in an hour so I pulled up to the window at 6:15 and a different woman said it’d be “about an hour” from now. Switching to a different pharmacy ASAP.
8/7/21 Update:In case anybody was wondering, yes this CVS is still garbage. They had a lil upgrade thats noticeable at the front, but the pharmacy though.....No offense, cause this isnt their fault (as in the people who work behind the counter at the pharmacy), BUT yall should know that this CVS pharmacy is not for people who work 8 hours a day. This is the pharmacy for people who like to arrive before the store opens. the early to bed, early to rise types. Seriously. Why even have a pharmacy at this location when its barely open. And then yall have the audacity, to over test for covid and vaccines. Which has to be a like cause Yall never open.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This CVS is garbage. They never have anything in stock. Everything is in the process of being ordered, but youll never hear an update unless you reach out to them on your own because their janky website and app never work. They also have the worst store hours. The pharmacy is open probably 2 hours a day and 30 mins on the weekends if youre lucky. They have a drive through pickup with 2 lanes but they only use one for some reason so your wait time is extremely long! Im not sure why this CVS even exists in this location? I hate CVS. Ive never had a positive experience at any of their 50-leven locations including those inside of Target. Everything is always a hassle with them.
A well run, clean store, lots of help usually available. Store Manager (Bob?) is approachable and always has a good answer.
Cannot provide covid test results after 12 days
Fantastic service up front and at the pharmacy. Very clean and well organized store. Bathrooms available and they are very clean.Otherwise, its the same as any other CVS!
Nice clean and open store with a wide selection. Tiovanni at the front is very friendly and has great customer service.
Prescription took twice as long as they reported. Also werent very worried about it.
Good service in store when Ive used this location but Ive currently been on hold for 15 mins on the phone. They didnt even get my name to continue so they cant possibly be working on my issue.
We have been using CVS to pick up our prescriptions for the last 5 years. We moved from a downtown location to Henrico County several months ago. When we did, we switched from the CVS on the corner of Broad and 25th to this location at Willow Lawn. We use the automatic refill service to pick up our prescriptions every month. This location frequently does not stock items that we have on AutoFill and will not notify or follow up with us, they simply dont fill it. They have directed us to use other stores on at least 6 different occasions because our regular prescriptions were out of stock. Fortunately our prescriptions are not life critical or it could have caused serious problems for us. If you have a prescription that you have to have filled regularly, I would recommend choosing a different pharmacy.
Polite and efficient service. Highly recommend this location.
