The regulars are absolutely terrible at this location. They shove, push, steal. I’ve been to so many outlets and the shoppers at this store are gross. They yell at employees. They shove employees. We’ve gone up here twice and both times we were treated terribly by the same people. It’s incredibly cut throat. I’m a reseller myself, but no other outlet allows this behavior to continue. I’ve seen people banned from stores for less than what these people do on the daily.

Ah the bins as they are called in most re-seller groups. My first visit to this location. They dont like you taking photos or video so be discreet. Was told photos not allowed by staff. Separate electronics area thats priced more like a regular Goodwill. Whats the point of that? Prices are way too high in this area. Everything is priced mid-eBay selling prices. No flipping items from here. The regular bins however not bad. I found plenty of junk for $14 I can use or sell. I am primarily a re-seller but I also buy and have found plenty of items for my personal use as well. I love the treasure hunt and if you do you probably already know all about it.This location however is kinda hidden in the back of what I always thought was just the Goodwill office building. For years I never knew this was even back here. You have to go around the building to the back!Check out the photos. Hit the thumbs up button for this review please! 👍👍👍👍

Not a normal Goodwill! All items are I sorted in bins and you buy textiles and housewares by the pound. You have to put in the effort to sift through the junk. You never know what will pop up!

Went to this location for the first time last weekend. Great shopping experience. Not my first time at a goodwill location, so I would say go early. I went at 9am. I was finished by noon and that’s when the majority of people started to arrive. I didn’t have the experiences that other people are talking about with people pushing you. Don’t even see someone putting their hands on me..... lol anywho, I found a lot of great items here. I found a Michael Jackson off the wall vinyl and it was less than a dollar. Original case with lyrics and everything. Spent $20 and walked out with a garbage bag full of clothes. Outlets really work in your favor and my budget’s favor. You just have to be willing to put the time up to find the deals. These make it worth it. I spent three hours digging through bins and found enough clothes for my winter wardrobe to be replenished. Only catch is it’s a little dirty digging through bins. I would bring gloves. Hands felt extremely dirty at the end.

I love this outlet. We are a very frugal family and get so much stuff here. Its like going on an adventure. The kids have a blast. I also want to commend them on their handling of the pandemic. They have really gone above and beyond to ensure everyone is as safe as possible.

These types of outlets are always a lot of fun. Sadly, even though they are limiting the number of people inside, at least half of the patrons have their masks pulled down or not on. The goodwill door monitor wasn’t even wearing her mask over her nose.

They aren’t social distancing. Customers were standing shoulder to shoulder waiting for the employees to change out the merchandise. I saw people having conversations with the mask under their chin instead of covering their nose and mouth.

Have you ever wanted to watch your fellow humans trample each other upon the arrival of a dumpster full of trash ripe for treasure hunting? Stop by the Goodwill Outlet when they roll out new bins. 10/10 for people watching, 4/10 for deal hunting.

Its like childhood nostalgia when I look at some of the products on the shelves and in bins. I would advise people to bring thick gloves if you dont like getting your hands dirty and brace yourself when the shoe bins come out because people become very aggressive to get the good stuff. I also like the electronics section. They have lots of old gaming systems I thought Id never see again!

I commend the staff for trying to keep some order in this place. I go quite often and people allow their kids free range. They crawl in the bins, crawl in boxes, run all over the place and create havoc for the rest of us. This is not the place I would bring my children! The staff does a great job!

I went to the Alverser Dr location to purchase a walker for upstairs. I was sent to the corporate location on Midlothian Turnpike and told they have 1000s and I could ask for one and receive it at no charge as they have so many donated. I drive there and was told I had to fill out a 3 page questioner requesting lots if personal information and then needed to be signed by the doctor and FAXED back. I then requested to purchase one and was refused. Then the receptionist told me I could drive across town to purchase a used one or I could buy a new one. I left, no walker. I have donated for years to the Goodwill, the 1st time I need something they put me through this run around. I feel betrayed. There are lots of organizations I will donate to in the future but not Goodwill because there is nothing Goodwill about it.

Thank you Goodwill for the donation of blankets for the Lonesome Dove and Veterans and Athletes United fundraiser!Goodwill does so much for our local community. The stores and auctions generate funds to provide many services - Job Readiness, Community Employment Centers, various Training Programs, Vocational Services & Family Strengthening & Financial Stability for civilians, military and veterans. I encourage you to take a tour of the facility. You will be amazed at all they do and offer.I also want to thank Sharon Taylor for her continued support of VetNet! She is always looking for ways to help members of the military and veterans find jobs or get the training they need. She is a true gem!!!

Warehouse Outlet 8am - 6pm Mo-Sat sells clothes and housewares by the pound (like $0.59/# last I remember) and computers affordably (NOT by the pound) go around back for the warehouse. I wish they would put the books on long shelves so I could scan the spines instead of jumbled in a box. Bring a pocket Phillips screwdriver and some batteries to test electronics by the pound! Sincerely, Christopher Maxwell

I agree With Elizabeth.... People totally push u over for things... There are people that hang out all day just to be able to get the new items, its not fair for everyone. Its not very organized there needs to be a manager when new stuff is pushed to the floor because people grab and snatch and push. One lady removed the entire bin from the people just so she could look through it on her own and people were grabbing handfuls of shoes they didnt even want so no one else could look.... Totally Crazy and very uncomfortable environment.

Never work for this company! I worked here for an month & and half and only received one paycheck on time, I quit out of frustration and bills breathing down my back and left before my last paycheck was issued, so I call to find out where it was and they claim it was in the mail, and Ive yet to receive it, I now have filed a claim with the Virginia wage and labor commission to rectify this situation, again I stress DO NOT do business, let alone work for the goodwill of Virginia in Richmond.

Ive found some good stuff here (several pairs of Toms shoes, Adidas shoes and clothing, a pair of Coach heels, a North Face jacket, J Crew clothing, a le Creuset dish, a crystal vase, Pampered Chef items in the box) all in great condition, but I had to spend several hours digging through bins of mostly junk that is unorganized. One side is shoes ($3 a pair) and clothes ($1.59/pound) in bins with some textiles like towels or sheets ($1.19/pound) mixed in--with no organization whatsoever. The other side is housewares--$ .59 a pound. An example of what you may find in a housewares bin is: someones homework, empty boxes mixed in with silverware, scratched pots, a binder, some ribbon, Christmas ornaments, I always find a potato masher and a colander, a pair of shoes someone discarded, and a lamp shade--possibly broken, toys, and a dirty diaper (Im not joking, I found one there yesterday). Also, parts of one item are often scattered about several bins due to people throwing items about while furiously digging. There is no restroom here--only the filthiest port-o-John Id ever seen with poo on the floor with shoe prints in it! So make sure to use the bathroom before you go! Also bring gloves and hand sanitizer as the place and the stuff in the bins are pretty dirty. But you cant beat the prices when you do find something of interest. People line up and wait for a new bins to come out and then dig and grab furiously through, hoarding things-especially the shoes. Its nuts. There are regulars there who get aggressive at times and some leave their carts unattended--despite sighs saying not to--and then get very angry if you even look in them. Lots of screaming and crying kids there--people let their kids run around and play in the filthy floor. I personally would not bring my small children there. There is also an electronics section where items are priced as marked. The staff--the cashiers have always been very friendly. Many of the floor staff are very, very rude. They yell at people a lot (especially if your cart in in the main aisle) and most of them seem to be absolutely miserable. But despite the cons (dirty, no bathrooms except a nasty port-o-John, lack of organization, lots of junk, rude staff), I still check it out weekly. I always find something I like. Then I immediately go home and wash everything and take a shower.

This was horrible! First, the workers were incredibly rude. I was chased down and accosted for having a drink (red bull can) in this warehouse because supposedly it is not allowed. Nowhere is this rule posted in or out of doors. Secondly, people stand lined up in a square as workers push the newest bins onto the floor in what amounts to a feeding frenzy for someone elses abandoned items. Unless you want to potentially brawl for an item, youre not likely to get the good stuff. Due to the overall attitudes of the workers and the ominous feeling that you could have beef or throw elbows at any moment makes me unlikely to return. Two stars because some of the auction items were actually worth money.
