Cute little coffee shop that also sells pastries, some bottled wine and beer. Some street parking out front ane some parking garages as well. Outside tables with 2 seats available and some seating inside. They sell some Richmond and coffee souvenirs too.I ordered a Coconut Rose Latte and a Ham and Jam sandwich. The latte was delicious and you really get the rose come through. I loved the Ham and Jam sandwich. The apples and Jam that came with it paired really well together.Super friendly staff, would definitely come back.

Cute little coffee shop with a few outdoor tables. The ham and jam croissant was fantastic. It’s a small shop with no WiFi so I couldn’t hang out and do work. But recommend if you’re in the area.

Stopped in on a whim for quick breakfast and was absolutely delighted with the cute decor and comfortable atmosphere. Got a cafe leche which had the perfect amount of sweetness and also a delicious blueberry and peach danish. Also got a “ham and jam” sandwich which tasted fresh and tasty. Overall a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to drag my friends here and try some more things off the menu!

Super tasty coffee. The honey and spice latte was pleasant with a hint of spice. Croissants were delicious and the front of shop itself was really cool. The menu was a great variety of standard and experimental coffee drinks and teas, so definitely for enthusiasts or your friends that like a standard cup of coffee. They have a neat little collection of wines, honeys, baked goods, and more. The outdoor space on the sidewalk is a classic cute little bistro setup. Highly recommend.

This is a cute coffee shop with an electric array of coffees I haven’t imagined. I wish I was in town longer, so I could try a different coffee each day. Today I got the iced cinnamon vanilla latte. When I tell you it was amazing - believe me! It was made just right and the blend of flavors is perfect. Plus, the barista was so sweet!

Perhaps the most underrated coffee shop in Richmond!!Love the house made syrups in unique flavors like rose and blueberry. They make my favorite lavender syrup in town for the occasional sweet espresso drink craving! Otherwise, fantastic house roasted coffee and espresso all around, and really great beans (super competitive pricing too) to take home. Their baked goods from other local businesses are wonderful, and they have a wide selection of wines for purchase too.Fantastic atmosphere for indoor seating whenever that potentially returns.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this quaint little coffee shop twice while visiting Richmond. They make one of the best chai tea lattes I’ve had (and I’ve had a ton)! I ordered my chai’s with oat milk and it’s phenomenal. The pair that works behind the counter are pleasant and they seem to work together as a great team. Even when the shop was quite busy they had their customers in and out in no time! Thank you Sefton Coffee for being a gem!

Love this place for grabbing coffee and goodies on the go. Great spot central to many hotels downtown. I know people will look up coffee in the area and will see Starbucks at the Omni Hotel, but that place is struggling to say the least. Staff is always friendly and cheerful - I cant wait for the day when the COVID era is over and the full place is opened up with tables inside, chit chats, etc. Highly recommend!

Drinks are very hit or miss in my opinion, and I had a weird experience for their “birthday“ celebrations the other week. People were milling about, but no on greeted my friend and I, drinks and snacks were advertised but there was no evidence of this, and staff seemed overly friendly with others (offering knickknacks and store stickers/gear left and right) while my friend and I felt very out of place as if we were intruding. And then to pay $7 for an iced latte after that, just very disappointed.

Eh. Bagel was nothing to get excited about. I ordered the honey spice whatever latte, and asked for it iced. I received the drink hot, and when I politely told him it was supposed to be iced, he gave it back to me after a few minutes and it tasted room temperature, like a few ice cubes had been dropped in. I was disappointed. Really wanted to enjoy this place.

Perfect spot for a Monday afternoon pick-me-up. Enjoyed the affogato on the patio seating and it was an A+ pick. ☕

The everything sourdough bagel and chocolate cake are my favorite things to get here. Cute spot with great bites and drinks to enjoy outside or take on the go.

As a barista and a coffee and espresso fanatic this place makes me feel amazing. The espresso was perfect, the foam was exactly where is shouldve been. The atmosphere was everything a coffee shop should have. The only thing is I dont recommend soy milk for your drink because it clumps together, not sure if it was barista or milk there but nonetheless this place comes down as my #1 coffee place in Richmond.

Sefton is just lovely, and a bit of cozy balm for downtown Richmond. The Turmeric Honey Latte is hands down the BEST turmeric drink I have ever had, and one of the tastiest sips I have had in recent memory. The owner makes the spiced honey that blends into the drink herself. It hit the spot and lifted my spirits on a day when I needed both. Simply wonderful!

Stopped by here while in town visiting. Nice, quaint little spot. Ordered a Vanilla Latte with an extra shot and it was deliciously smooth. It had a nice long bar to sit as well as tables and the ambiance was welcoming will definitely stop by here again next time Im in town.

Ive always loved Sugar & Twine but live and work downtown so its a little inconvenient. This spot is great, its less crowded and their cafe leche is a perfect, slightly less sweet, replacement for S&T Thai coffee. Definitely going to be a regular spot for me from now on.

This is a fun local coffee spot with great coffee and other drinks. It also has a fun menu of tasty sandwiches and other treats. My only complaint is that they keep running out of chicken salad, its the best! Awesome place if youre already downtown and want a quick place to relax and enjoy a quality cup of coffee. There is limited parking so figure that out first if youre driving in. The space and ambience is very modern, tasteful and soothing. It is a tad small so it can fill up quick.

Theyre coffee is kinda bad in my opinion but my coworkers like it. I guess we all have our preferences. Staff and atmosphere are great though. The nicest folks work there. Clean inside friendly feel to the place. They also sell little artsy things. Thats really neat. Oh and they hey have really yummy treats and stuff.

Not a lot of room to spread out, however the atmosphere is breezy, inviting you to return. A small coffee (drip) runs about $2, and it is worth it. It happened to be the best coffee I have had in a while. It seems rather busy, but do not be fooled as the line is quick and the staff are polite and friendly.

The wonderful homemade breads at the counter are always a great treat to go with their superb coffee. The service and atmosphere have always been a delight when i drop in. PLUS, they sell reusable metal straws at the counter. Awesome! I like this place very much.

Fantastic gem in downtown Richmond. Coffee roasted on site by people who know what they are doing. Prices are great, no were the only guys in the neighborhood so well charge what we want attitude. Prompt service without attitude and nice people, what more could you ask for? Check it out next time youre downtown.

The atmosphere was cool, small but a great place to get some work done if you can grab a seat. Service and espresso were also great! About as close to perfect as you can get.

Great drinks with tons of options and friendly staff. I dont recommend it for lunch (which is when we went) - the sandwiches are fine, but come in pre-made so you cant customize anything and taste like prepackaged gas station / grocery store sandwiches. Definitely go grab a drink, though! The lavender latte is fantastic.

I feel like Ive found a hidden gem! This is the perfect place for a tasty lunch. The side with your meal is a choice of their trail mix, I havent seen that before and it is fantastic! I look forward to returning to try more of their coffee selection.

I really love this place. Having just started a new job downtown, I was on the look out for a coffee place nearby. So glad I found it - I go nearly every day if I am able. Staff is friendly, its beautiful inside, nice little window seats and the best espresso drinks ever. I feel like I am cheating anytime I go to any other coffee place.

Hands down favorite coffee in Richmond. Coming from Manhattan, Ive tried several coffee shops and found that this is the legit spot to get coffee. Their salted caramel bites are perfect compliments to their drink menu and their food menu items are delicious. Highly recommend!

I have worked at several roasters in the past and this place smells & tastes exactly the way it should for a roastery! Very good espresso & cute little shop, very small inside. Would definitely recommend! They said they dont use flavored syrups for any of the flavored drinks as well!

Last Friday, I went into the post office downtown, only because I was walking. Otherwise, I would not have been there. Jenny walked in, and one of the customers was raving about her coffee. I just happened to have a few espresso brownies left from the Women Business Summit I had just attended. I introduced myself to Jenny, and told her I would definitely be around to get an espresso drink. Hands down, it was the best espresso drink Ive had. It was smooth, creamy, I really just didnt want it to end. Of course, I left her the remaining espresso brownies in my basket!!! Can I just say everything Ive had from Sefton Coffee has wonderful on my taste buds!! Now, for the tarragon chicken salad, Hmmm!!
