Wasnt in long enough to judge fairly. Went in to pick up an online order, was ready when I got to the pickup desk. No fuss, no muss. In and out in less than 5 minutes... never seen a two story Wal Mart...

The only thing that I didnt like was all the Legos were locked up and it took 30 mins to have someone come over to unlock the case. The man who we found seemed bothered bc he had to stop what he was doing.

Lost my wallet in the parking lot, a customer found it and personally return it to me. I could not thank them enough. God bless Walmart and its shoppers.

My recent trip here was worth posting about simply because I feel it is unacceptable condition for a place of business. We entered on the second floor and needed to go to the first floor so we were waiting at the elevator for about 4 minutes and none came. We asked the employee stocking the clearance aisle RIGHT NEXT to the elevator if it was working and she said no! No so sign was listed ANYWHERE that it wasn’t working! On top of that, the cart transport on the escalator was also broken so there was NO way to take a cart from up to down. I can understand that things break but there is ZERO excuse for the lack of communication! Also, the escalator going up was broken! I’d have been out of luck if I were in a wheelchair and again, NO SIGN ANYWHERE!!

This place reminded me of the Pleasant Hill K-Mart during its last year in existence. The elevators were it of service as was the down escalator. It was a surreal experience.I cant blame the store for this, but the comparatively low ceilings for a big box store gave it an oppressive feeling. Such a contrast to Martinez or Vacaville.

Thankful I didn’t have take the BART this time I took the ferry to a nice bus directly to the store! So much better…thanks for having everything I need 💯I almost forgot to take a picture 🤷🏾

The lady with short black hair working on the register 25, 1:57pm on October 16th 2021 was taking so long scanning peoples items when there was a lot of people waiting in line. I was waiting in line for about 20 to 30 minutes minimum! It took a ridiculous amount of time to scan items. She was taking her sweet time! Manager needs to talk to her asap!

Walmart has just about EVERYTHING you’ll need in life, all packed in a tidy, well-stocked store. Check out lines can run long, but if you’re savvy- you can self check. All the employees at this location were great.

I didnt know Wal-Mart had a vision center at this location. I needed to get some affordable lenses for my frames. To my surprise, they have a really cool affordable selection of glasses to choose from if youre in the market for a pair and your insurance doesnt cover charge. The Optician was pleasant and able to switch my lenses.

So many unreasonable changes there. One could understand. However, there is no real system behind it to ensure limited customer impact. They do have some very good cashier that believes in customer service. Whoever was working line 2 was amazing. Those doing returns and working in mens need to be made aware of the above issues.

If you want to shop here because it is convenient, then go. Be warned, they are constantly out of products. Never can get everything on the shopping list. Go to Martinez instead.

Ok. I attempted to buy a frozen item, that wasnt in the system. The mgr and another lady came, looked at it and took it from the cashier stating it was going to the second floor. As I stood there in waiting I finally ask, so what happens no. Then I got an oh you cant buy it. It would be nice if a mgr or the cashier said, would you like to get something else. Too bad the employees didnt realize or care they just cost Walmart money. The likelihood of that happening again will stop me from ever buying a frozen good from this store again.

Pharmacy clerk was very helpful and nice. Up front cashier was distracted by other team members and stuffed the grocery bags one had 18 count eggs with dawn dish soap and lysol spray can, ARE YOU KIDDING!

This is one of the worst Walmarts Ive ever been to. Generally, the Walmarts in the Bay Area arent very good, but this is just bottom of the barrel. So many items they dont carry and constantly out of basic necessities. There are so many food products that Walmart carries, but you can never find them here.Employees are usually nice, but you also have a few that just say they dont have something when you get the feeling they dont even know what youre asking about.If you drive, I highly recommend going to the one in American Canyon.

Love shopping Walmart but.... I saw pimento cheese and was going to purchase it until l checked the expiration date and shockingly some where dated Oct 2020, all different dates, all expired!😤 Im cool on purchasing that item. Dont you have someone that checks for those thing😠

This is one of the towns most unique shopping centers its 2 floors with a wide range of products and has pretty much everything you need

I did a curbside pickup for the first time at this Walmart location and it was simple, quick and friendly.

They usually always have what I need, always enjoy the Walmart experience...always they best prices....just wished it was a super Walmart

If youre not going to the bathroom you most likely will have an average experience (smelled disgusting), good luck trying to find youre car at night in the parking lot as the parking lot lights are the equivalent of a series flashbangs. Also good luck finding youre way around without the Walmart app! ☺️

Love me some Walmart!! The employees is helpful although theres issues when it comes to the hardware dept. I had to wait 20 minutes to get an employee to get something for me from a cabinet.

Not a pleasant please to be, people stiling stuff right in front of you, employees walking without acknowledge of you no customer service at all, to bad this behavior is by location the better the city the better the service Richmond store a dumpster, San Rafael much better.

Escalators for the shopping carts are still broken. One side of the elevator is broken. Long lines waiting to get on the elevator to go the second floor and then having to wait again to get back to the first floor. Makes it a terrible shopping experience

The elevator on one side wasnt working. And the escalator wasnt either. So for the physically disabled its not friendly at the point. I felt bad for a man with a cane having to go up and down the broken escalator. People wouldnt let him on the elevator due to it filling so fast. I had to ditch my cart, also because I couldnt get on the elevator. Other than that had the stuff I needed.

This Mall is lucky to have Walmart there. I used to work at the mall when everything was together in 91. Walmart has been a staple, the only problem theyre having is low staff and they have all of the inventory they need. Were hanging in together with instacart. I totally understand because I used to do stock myself.

Been trying to return items for 2 weeks and their computers that do returns are always down and cant return. Also the escalators are always brokenThe store is dirty and needs to be maintained better.

The layout is a bit different from the typical Walmart layout. Its spread in two floors which gives first timers a bit of hard time. The sign said the shop is open till 10 pm but couldnt find anyone for assistance even at 9pm. Many of the items are locked in glass cupboards and its really difficult to find assistance to check out those items. There are many items and huge selection. Overall not good experience.

Someone stands at the exit door asking to see your receipt when you leave....they have no right to do that. This isnt Costco....I havent signed any contract saying you may do that. I walk right past them at Walmart. What are they guna do??? You think I stole? Then go watch your cameras, dont stop me and go thru my bag or ask what Ive bought. Its ridiculous.

Parking is great, the customerservice okay.. The store could be better stocked, the escalator seems to not work often, and the lines are awful.

Busy busy most of the day. Check Google to see when its most busy and avoid going then. I suggest going at a slower time. The staff and management are knowledgeable on where you can find something, and you can generally find someone who works there with ease. Since the place was shut down, its gotten better. The isles are more organized, the staff are friendlier(who wants to be working around 100s of people? So happier is better than before it shut down). 😌 I would visit this one rather than going further out to get what I need. If I cant find it at my local grocery store, then this is the next best place.

Everytime I shop here, someone has eaten out of packages and put it back on the shelf or took part of the 8 pk of Power aid drinks out making it look like a 6pk. Associates dont care either. I dont know how they can keep the doors open.

In my experience, workers have been pretty nice, but sometimes hard to find for help. Lots of parking. Easy access to restrooms in the front of the store. Lines havent ususlly been too terribly long in my experience. However, imo, the store looks like it could use a facelift/renovation (in the parking lot and inside).

Love that store low prices, but not so much cashiers for the big line with full of customers..

Well... It walmart. I went there looking fora new laminator and forgot it was the day before back to school. Literally a madhouse. School supplies randomly stuff here and there ( Not walmart fault), was short staffed and limited registers opened. Was in line for 30 mins.

I go to walmart to find characters for my short stories. Its very good for that.

I was there looking for some curtains, found something that I could work with, I found myself needing help reaching items on very topshelf, got the attention of one of the cashier-retail people, a young lady help me, had a nice attitude which I didnt expect 😀

Got an air bed. They didnt have the one we wanted, we got the most affordable for a single.

Wait for over 15 minutes for somebody to finally open a locked case to look at tent stakes and the guy has no patience. Like he cant be bothered to wait a few minutes.

Mostly everything I was shopping for was locked up, Employees wasnt helpful or pleasant.... took 20 mins maybe longer to get assistance....I assume theres alot broke people coming to this location and stealing maybe they just dont have home training and a product of their environment 🤔Anyway I rather go 20 miles out the way and will never shop here again!

Its always an experience here at Walmart in Richmond CA. And especially online. Love the hugh variety of just about anything, not to mention the value and savings but its true. Always happy when I leave the store and online Always! Thank you Walmart! So much for making it worth it, for us all.

Everything is locked up, takes for ever tp get someone with a dam key. Half the time shelves are half stocked. But is the only local walmart & cheap .

Prices are great but not all the time selections are available. The layout of the store is not the best. Lots of clutter in some places.

I didnt like the way that this particular WAL MART is layed-out. The miniscule GROCERIES, the reason I went there, was a lower level than the rest of the store. I never saw a WAL MART that had Escalators and an Elevator. The CHECK-OUT area is SQUISHED between the front wall and the first ailes. Only 3 people can wait at any one register, and theyd be blocking thru traffic. This is also my first time seeing a Wal Mart within a 70s styled, Teenager-Hot Spot MALL. The worse thing was that I was there for at least 45 minuets and didnt see not one ZANY-DRESSED WAL MART SHOPPER.

They are pretty good and stocked okay. It would be nice to have employees that understand English so, that the customer is satisfied with the answer they are trying to relay. And I didnt know if she understood that I was asking to check back stock or she understood and didnt want to go check. Better customer service on the floor.

Im told I am a very patient easy-going person and my mother always told me if you dont have something nice to say dont say anything at all, but the experience I just had at this Walmart with several employees that I was passed to was insanely uncomfortable and soul crushing. The details Ill not mentioned but I feel is best to warn anyone Looking for a normal, respectful experience.

Always easy to find stuff, fair prices.

If you are able to use the self check out your shopping time will be cut in half. Unfortunately, this store doesnt have one. Upside is store is well stocked with minimal clutter.

For the most part its a good location and pretty clean store, the door people are a bit aggressive about needing to see your receipt and too much stuff is locked behind cage and key with no associates around to unlock it.

Its the only store currently operational at Hilltop mall, in Richmond CA. Still enjoy shopping there but shelves are looking more empty :(
