They have some really nice formal dresses. But dont be fooled by the pictures online that look like they have a lot of dresses for less than $50 (signs in the pics are misleading). Their formals are very reasonably priced but they mostly start around $150.

On September 28 2021 my family and I went to this business to find homecoming gowns for our daughters. We entered the store and never got greeted by the owner just evil looks. We started searching for the gowns for the girls. Instead of asking did we need help the owner just stared at us as we were going to steal out of her store. Made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. As we proceed to leave the store because of how we being treated. She watches all our hands to see if we stole anything giving evil looks as we left never asking if we even needed help to find anything. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

My daughter and I have always found the perfect dress here! Great alterations too!

Horrible and extremely rude customer service. I speak the language and could understand what the rude lady was saying about me on the phone. Before walking out, I told her I could understand everything! Over priced and asked me my budget as soon as I got there, did not want to even get up to help me. Horrible experience and sad part is, I have been a loyal customer earlier this year and for many years in the past! No respect what so ever!

DO NOT GO HERE. I’d rather give them zero stars. Went here for our wedding tux’s because they advertised Jim’s Formal ware. Due to Covid our “big wedding” was canceled. We canceled our order with them two months before they would have even put our order in. It took them 3 months and us going in almost every day to get refunds for our groomsman. Then they made up a new refund policy to keep $30 from each of the guys when their original policy was full refunds unless your order has already come in (ours was never placed) then we found out they had no intention of ordering from Jim’s Formal ware as advertised. So, who knows where the tux’s would have even came from.

I traveled far and wide attempting to find a prom dress to fit my rather large 22-24 sized body, and low and behold 50 miles away stood step n style. Not only was the service absolutely lovely, but the first dress they put me in fit perfectly and was gorgeous. They also had no qualms about looking, and getting me a different color when I asked. Also they made a point of charging no more for the plus sized dresses than the skinny girl ones! Im so elated I could find something I loved and walk out of the store with it just a week before my prom!

I highly would not recommend this store, unless you are willing to be pressured into buying a dress. I recently visited this store in search for a prom dress and everything was very very overwhelming. This was the first experience I had actually going out and trying on dresses, and they most definitely ruined that experience. When we entered the store, there was about 3-4 employees that came and tried to help us at the same time. They will tell you look good in anything that THEY pick out for you, even without your consent, just to make a sale. They would dismiss anything that my mother or I would say and go off what they think is best. My mother and I were followed the entire time that we were there and they would talk about EVERY single dress that we looked at. They do have some pretty dresses, but their persistence ruins the whole experience. I was pressured into dresses that I knew that I wouldn’t like and they wait for you to come out after trying each dress.The owner, I’m assuming, was very overbearing. She continuously forced/pressured me to try on dresses when I told her that I wasn’t interested in that dress and everytime we would try and leave, they would bring up all the “great” things about their store. I don’t recommend this store what’s so ever. Please remember there is NO REFUNDS!!!

This Place has beautiful dresses however I recommend you pay in cash if you’re going to buy a dress from here they will steal your card information After purchasing a dress from them my card was then charged again For a purchase of $500 from another state This is my second time using a card when purchasing from them and the 2nd time my card information had been stolen Buyers Beware

I agree with Kim Shaffers post. I had about the same experience. Pushy with dresses and theyll say whatever you need to hear to make a purchase, theyre impatient while youre changing, they brush off imperfections of the dress, they dont tell you that you cant refund it until you try to. They gave me store credit of MY $300 with a 1 month limit. I live 6 hours away and they knew this. No empathy on their part. Once they have your money, youre not getting it back. Its on me for making such a hasty decision on buying the dress. I just wont trust this store again.

I came here to get a dress for a wedding I was attending. I had been looking for a while and saw the 50% off sign and decided to take a look. The young lady asked me my budget was soon as I came in and asked what color dress I wanted. I wanted to look around by myself, but she kept following me around--very high pressure. She pulled a few dresses for me to try on. I guess I was taking too long because she CAME INTO THE DRESSING ROOM while I was still changing!! We went through a couple dresses and found one that I really liked. After some haggling, I was able to get the dress in my price range. The straps were too long and the rhinestone beading around the waist was coming loose so she said shed fix it. She did NOT even measure the straps before sending it for alterations. I came back the next week to pick up dress and straps are still too big! Older lady (owner?) apologizes, has me try it on, pins it, and tells me it will be ready in 2 days. On my SECOND trip back, I try it on and it is obvious that the seamstress only did 1 side!! I tell the 2 men there, who seemed clueless, bc they normally work at the other store. He sees the issue and says they will fix it after making some BS comments on these straps being hard. I sew. I know it isnt that complicated. On my THIRD trip back to the store, I try on the dress and the strap is still a little off!! The young girl makes a bunch of excuses why it isnt right and acts like this never happens. Yeah right! I show her where the rhinestones are coming off and how one of the straps has a gap in it vs. the other. She tells me that bc its a cheap dress. She takes a hot glue gun and tries to glue it back together. She does a poor job and acts like its hardly noticeable. I am so upset. Poor customer service all the way through. If you want a poorly made dress and poor customer service come here. And even if it has a tag--NO REFUNDS.

This is the worst experience I ever had. The customer service is awful. Extremely lack of manners and rudeness. They get angry and rude when you ask them to help you. Horrible experience!!!!
