I met him at the dealership the next morning and finalized my purchase even though he was catching a flight that day. Everything went smoothly and Im so thankful this dealership isnt gouging customers with markups on their cars during this shortage of inventory. I had another dealership quote me $9k over MSRP. Absolutely fantastic service. Both times I brought my 2011 Sonata here I was expecting to pay WAY more than I actually ended up paying. They even once managed to get a seized engine covered under a recall for me! They literally saved me from having to purchase an entire new car! We found a needle in a haystack when we found our 2018 Santa Fe (with 3rd Row) at a value that was the lowest around! It was being serviced when we arrived and we were the first to see it before it was detailed. Ramon, the sales associate, assisted us during the purchase. He was very friendly and personable; however, he had a couple keystroke errors on the paperwork that delayed the processing time. He was a new hire and probably needs some more training with understanding the process. Alex, the sales manager, took the extra time with us and made sure that the vehicle was to our satisfaction. When we purchased the vehicle, it was in need of upholstery cleaning and Alex provided a loaner vehicle for us to use until the cleaning was taken care of. He even had Renee deliver our car to our home, so we didnt have to make an extra trip to return the loaner vehicle. She made sure we were satisfied with our vehicle before she left. We would definitely recommend them for their sales department and will be taking our new purchase to their service department for future maintenance!

I have purchased two Hyundais and always had great service and sales experiences. I am not sure what is going on now. I called for over a week and left multiple messages for my pre-paid oil change and noone called me back. After a week, I finally got a return call but couldnt get a simple oil change appointment for 1 month. Ended up taking it to Firestone to get one. I guess the oil changes included for the first 3 years arent really included. Glad I could get in with Firestone, paid $50 though.

I first went to the Pohanka dealership service to fix an issue I had with my car, they told me my car doesnt have the feature I am having issues with. Completely making me out to be some crazy person thT is asking them to fix something that wasnt there. I called westbroad hyundai, they got me in right away, fixed my problem in under 20 minutes and had me on my way. I will now only be going to westbroad hyundai for service to my car.I cant thank them enough for hearing me out and actually listening to me.

A dear friend of mine had her engine go out. They told her it would take a week to get an appointment. Once the appointment was finally made, they said it would take two days to get the parts and a couple of more to repair it. Well, it’s been a solid 3 weeks now and she STILL does not have a vehicle! AND...they just told her the parts are on back order for at least another 3 weeks. On top of all this, they do not have loaner vehicles and they only pay up to $20/day for a rental vehicle from Enterprise. Where can you get a rental for $20/day?! And they don’t have loaner vehicles?! What reputable dealership does not have loaner vehicles for customers? ESPECIALLY when all parts are still under warranty and it’s not the customer’s fault?! I do NOT recommend purchasing from here! And Paul (one of the “service soldiers” as he called himself) is extremely rude, inconsiderate, does not return voicemail calls and not personable at all. He needs to start over from training and try again!

Although the work performed is more expensive as compared to the Mom & Pop repair shops, pricing is comparable to other car dealerships. The maintenance work quality is good. All employees perform their jobs in a professional manner and represent the dealership well. The work is usually completed in the time frame quoted by the Service Advisor except in situations where a unforeseen problem is discovered.

I can’t say much about the sales end of this place because I did not purchase from them. However the service department is TERRIBLE. Stay far far away, not only were they extremely rude the work performed on our motor replacement was laughable. The bearings go bad in these motors very common but we got it replaced under warranty. After being without a vehicle for a couple of months we were told it was done we went picked up the car learned they replaced the engine but not the turbo? Well worked great for about two weeks before the turbo died. We took it to another local shop they told us take it back to Hyundai the turbo died from the debris from the bearings going bad. They said it was very unusual to have this engine replaced and re use the old turbo. They also found a missing manafold bolt and two others were only hand tight, heat shield were not attached, just shotty work. The mechanic and manager told us sorry about our luck. Even some folks at another Hyundai said we got screwed and apologized for our experience. Now I can probably lawyer up and spend more money and energy fighting this or just tell everybody I know to stay away from this dealership. If your motor goes bad (which most do) or you need service take the extra drive and go to colonial or another dealership because these guys suck.

I bought my brand new 2020 Elantra from them in September 2020. On 3/24/2021, take my car in to get the brakes worked on since they are under warranty and had vibrations and arent working properly. They resurface the rotors and said they are perfect. Following day I almost hit a car. The day after, they bled the system. Nothing changed. Mark was rude and condescending, his tone was even doubting my sanity! He stated the service manager tested the car and it was fine.So the car has been sitting in a parking lot since 3/27/2021 because they refused to acknowledge the issue and its unsafe to be driven. I guess they simply dont want to put time into diagnosing a car for warranty repairs since that doesnt make them any money.

No Impressed - sorry long storyI needed a new passenger side mirror, nothing fancy just needed the part and to get an idea on the cost to install.Called the service department, they gave me price for install and paint and said I would need to add the cost of the part on to the total - why did I have to figure that out? Spoke to parts department, got price of part and was advised it comes pre painted (apparently the two teams cant talk to each other...)Called back to schedule install, rep asked to see the car to give accurate quote and price, no big deal. Asks me to come in the afternoon - I said I can come around 4 and was advised not a problem.Showed up at 3:55PM and guy said, oh I thought you were coming earlier, manager has left for the day. Got the parts manager, he gives me a price and has me come inside to purchase. I asked about install and am again told I need to talk to the service department, yeah the guy that came to get him to get me the part. Guy doesnt want to schedule anything until the part is in b/c if they dont have the part for the appointment, they cant do anything. Anyway Parts guy says 2 business days and theyd call me .. they didnt call me. I call 1.5 weeks later and they just say, yeah its here. No apology for either not calling or the delay (not sure which) and no information on hours to come pick up. Also didnt ask me if we wanted them to install it.Overall terrible experience, felt like I was imposing on them with every interaction. Getting it installed at my trusted Moore Cadillac body shop who are amazing!

I went to go speak with a sales man about trading my car in. I was unsure about some issues I had with the car. I met a sales man names Carl, who was amazing!! This was the best car buying experience I have had. The customer service was better than I could have hoped for. He was kind, patient, informative and walked me through the process. Took my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe in for a vibration in the rear of the car. Mark, was the service rep. They found a broken bushing, replaced it, cost me $1100. It didnt fix the vibration. Mark seemed to doubt me that it wasnt fixed. They seemed too concerned about the time involved to diagnose it, rather than finding the problem and fixing it.. This was my 2nd bad experience with the service department at West Broad Hyundai. I took to another shop, they found the problem and fixed it.

This place does not honor their promises. Salesmen will offer all sorts of things to get you to buy, but then you find out the things arent even offered (car wash with service, loaner cars, etc...) or they dont have authorization to offer it. I feel I was swindled into a lease and will never purchase from here again. Manager even chastised me for asking about a loaner car when I brought mine in for service because thats only for warranty issues even though salesman told me Id get one anytime I brought in for service so I wasnt slowed down having to wait. Even the waiting room here only offers vending machines...just wish I had gone somewhere where they care about customer service.

Personable service. I have been very satisfied with their service team and value for services rendered. Would rate 5 stars except that they have a bad system for answering phones, scheduling service over the phone, and returning phone calls. Service team members give out their mobiles, and you can also schedule service online, so thats one way around it, but not sure why the normal phone number does not seem to be a priority.

Let the service speak for itself. Having your service managers feel that anything less than an excellent rating is bad, is unrealistic. The transmission died in my Chevy and I needed a new car ASAP. I spent a lot of time researching before selecting the car I wanted. I reached out to Hyundai via their text option to see if the vehicle I had found was available. It was and they were able to make an appointment for me with a range of time that I would be arriving at the dealership. When I got there, they immediately introduced me to one of their sales reps. Since they knew which car I was looking at online, it didn’t take long for them to pull the car around for me to test drive (after checking my ID and following all of their compliance rules). The drive thankfully went really well and I knew very quickly that I liked the car. I told them my budget range and they were able to get within it! The entire process took maybe 2 hours and I had been warned by family and friends to expect a 3-4 hour process. Everyone was very nice and helpful!

Good luck getting a hold of any one in service to assist you with your service needs. I have been trying to get in touch with someone to schedule a service appointment for the past week and havent gotten any one on the phone or anyone to return a voicemail. Whats the point of a Hyundai warranty if you cant get your vehicle in to use it.

EVERYTHING went well. I was greeted and gave my name and they did the rest. I was asked if Id wait for the car and I did. In an two hours 55 minutes my car was done and I was on my. Thank you West Broad Hyundai.I will certainly be back and I will recommend your dealership without hesitation.

West Broad Hyundai wasnt the dealership where I bought my first Sonata since I was living in the Southside of Richmond, but once I moved to the West End of Richmond, this dealership has been superb! I replaced brakes and the cost was less than tire stores and when I had recall issues, West Broad Hyundai was the first to tell me about my steering issue and saved me over $1000 dollars. When I had a crazy issue where my sonatas engine needed replacing, they gave me a loaner and paid for the cost in full. I was so grateful that I turned around and traded in that Sonata on a 2019. And recently, I needed to replace the passenger mirror assembly, they discounted the part and then charged me less than they quoted me. I wont use anyone else

The service department is not trustworthy at all. I have caught them in so many lies about my new car. I have called other Hyundai service dealership in the area and when I told them what they told me they laugh. Saying that is 100 percent false. Great price to buy a car but not for service. I would not recommend going to this place for service. if you valve your money stay away. to the comment I got from the owner that is not what we talked about at all. you must have mixed me up with someone else. Here is the fact. the owners Manuel, Hyundai Online which you put in your zip code, and my blue link says oil changes are done every 7500 miles. your service dept says 3750 for me so I called other Hyundai dealerships from Richmond to Northern Virginia 8 of them and they all said 7500 miles before an oil change. so I dont understand why you would make a comment like that. thats not what we talked about

Marcus was great! He managed something I didnt think anyone could do and got me out of my Ford Ranger of 15 years. He set me up with great deal, a lifetime service package, he was willing to negotiate the deal over the phone and through text letting me do the whole thing on my schedule and not feel pressured. Love the new car looking forward to driving it for 15 years, when my partner is ready for a car we will be coming to West Broad Hyundai first and asking for Marcus.
