The new location is great. Check in was great. If you have not met Crystal, I want you to know she is awesome. She made sure everything was well with my car to make sure I was satisfied. There are a few thing I think Hyundai needs to improve but in all at the end I was satisfied.
Our entire experience of purchasing a new car was great from start to finish. Our salesman (Kevin Jenkins) was very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. He was never pushy or arrogant - a true gentleman! The same can be said for Mike Jackson the finance manager. We were treated with respect through the whole process.Well done Pearson Hyundai - we are satisfied and happy customers! Thank you!
Look at the smile on my 82-year-old mothers face (behind her mask, of course)! Amazing experience at Pearson Hyundia with Justin Avirona. He had all the paperwork ready in advance -- so much so that we were in and out in 20 minutes! In addition, Justin could not have been more patient with my mother -- showing every aspect of how the car works. Excellent service. We will be back!
They would not do the warranty insurance work I bought from Pearson saying my drive shafts repair was not covered. Service writer said the repair had to be paid by me. But the repairs are covered under my contract. I called the company to find out why dealer was told they were not covered. I was told initially they were not but that the dealer was called back to proceed with the work because my contract did cover the repairs 100%. The warranty company told me they assumed the dealer would call back to reschedule. Well I am still waiting for the phone call from Pearson to reschedule the work they said was not covered but was. Its been a week now.
I had a great experience. It was fast and easy. And the people were who helped me were awesome. I’ve always loved Hyundai. Thank you Michael Howard. He nice and very professional. I love my car!
I received a call from Paul at Pearson shortly after my online inquiry. We set up an appointment on a Saturday and Paul was ready with all the information I had requested. He showed me to the perfect car, and patiently and thoroughly explained all the features of the vehicle. My trade in vehicle was assessed and I was surprised at how much I was offered. Everything went quickly and smoothly and all my questions were answered. I had expected to look at other makes and models before I made the decision to buy, but decided against it. I love my new Tuscon!
It’s fairly well known that working with a dealership means you are subjecting yourself to a game of endurance of wits. Somehow that has been allowed to become “business as usual “. The car is a sturdy investment. The process was drawn out and tedious. Did I pay too much ? Sort of. At the end of it - no one is at fault. But I’d rather not accept that this is the way business should be conducted. It was a rough and bumpy act of negotiation. My experience.
Where do I start? My daughters 2015 Santa Fe was towed in due to engine failure, the second engine failure with Hyundai (first was a Genesis) and also had a failure with a KIA Sorento, all at around 70K miles. Lesson here.....dont buy a Korean-made car!!! Anyway, after waiting three days for a call-back with a possible diagnosis, my daughter called them and they couldnt find the car! She had to drive down to the lot and point it out despite describing it to them on the phone. Since then we have been promised they would check it out but nothing so far. We have called but calls are not returned. Pearsons (and Hyundai) is a joke! Larger concern is that, like others, the engine has gone out and I am not sure they are covering 2015 model engine failures. More to come....
Recently purchased a 2022 Ioniq from Pearson Came in to look at a used Honda Insight and was pointed in the direction of a new Ioniq by Mike Spease. Mike S. was easy to work with and even arranged for me to take the car on an extended test drive the next day. Once I decided I wanted the vehicle Mike Jackson in Finance was respectful of my wish to not add any extra warranties etc. In the future would buy from Pearson again. This is my first Korean car coming from Japanese manufacturers.Hopefully it will stand the test of time because getting 57mpg is pretty awesome!
Pearson Hyundai I am very pleased with my recent purchase. I wanted the 2022 Tucson and was unable to find it anywhere. I Did a request online to see if any of the dealers Could help me. I got a reply almost immediately From Pearson Hyundai. I had reached out to other Hyundai dealers they were closer but got no response or a very delayed response days later. Paul at Pearson Hyundai replied almost immediately. He asked me what I wanted I gave him a list of things that I wanted on a vehicle that they had to have I gave him a list of colors I wanted and colors I didn’t want. he did not have what I wanted. This did not stop him though he told me he would get back to me and he did it on vehicle that they had coming in that hadn’t arrived yet. He had found the perfect car for me he put it on hold for me. I had asked for the total price of the car he wrote me up a contract, Which he sent to me almost immediately. Less than a week later I got a call from him that my car was in we arrange to go pick it up. They had the car out front waiting for me. He took us in his office we did all the paperwork they took us to the finance office we did the financial work.. He then took us to the car and showed us how to work everything in the car. We also had with us an eight year old boy Who was rambunctious as he could be and Paul was an absolute sweetheart with him patient kind I can’t say enough. All I can say is from the very beginning to the very end Paul made my buying a car wonderful experience!! He’s also done a follow up phone call to see if I needed any help or any instructions on anything in the car. And I personally have received the best service I have ever received from Paul in Pearson Hyundai I would give them 100 star rating and I will never deal with anyone else!!
Justin was fantastic very quick to get all the information I needed and had everything ready to go when we got there. Would feel confident recommending anyone go buy a car from him. Be sure to ask for Justin.
I will be returning to Pearson Hyundia to purchase another vehicle. The staff there is Awesome. The most pleasant car buying experience I have had in awhile. Justin did a fantastic job explaining each and every feature of the vehicle in depth. Justin is really good at what he does!!
Great customer service and friendly staff. No pressure sale. My salesman was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this dealership.
Making a service appointment was easy. Although I did have to wait 2 weeks to get in they quickly diagnosed my problem and were able to simply calibrate my airbag seat sensors to work properly. Also had a chance to talk to Justin about possibly getting a newer vehicle. They were very professional and knowledgeable. No pressure was exerted that would want me to purchase immediately other than the fact that their new vehicles are very hard to come by right now and they dont stay on the lot very long.
Excellent salesperson and quick in and out. Bought a new Santa Cruz and Justin went over all of the features in great detail and also connected my phone. Excellent experience
MS Melissa Best, of Pearson Hyundai, called to explain why it took over a month to schedule my service appointment. The explanation made sense and I changed the feedback which I gave Thomas, the Service Writer, to a Five Star rating.
Kevin was awesome! Professional, funny and patient. He is so tall and brings a big presence to the table. I would definitely recommend Pearsons Hyundai and Kevin!
George called us the minute they got the 2021 G80 Prestige into the dealership, so we set up an appointment to come in the very next morning. It took all of 2 minutes for me to fall in love with the car and at the end of the morning my husband and I left the dealership with not one but TWO BRAND NEW GENESIS VEHICLES!!George is amazing and made the process easy and enjoyable, we love Person and would recommend to anyone!!
Jean Fahim was a wonderful sales person who went above and beyond to assist us as well as his Sales Manager ( forget his name sorry). Jean ensured we knew exactly what type of vehicle we were investing in. He made sure we understood all of the features the car had to offer us. My husband and I both agreed that this was the fastest transaction ever when purchasing a vehicle we were well pleased. Such a motivated, caring, spirited young man in which this company needs to ensure it helps him to grow and move up. I absolutely love my Genesis G80
When it comes to business, customer service is extremely important and ranks extremely high on my scale. Ive managed many different departments throughout my career and theres nothing greater than outstanding customer service; however, selling a product is good but maintaining professionalism and providing outstanding customer service is paramount. Please allow me to share my wonderful experience with one of your most outstanding customer service employees within your Hyundai Service Department. I must admit that this young lady performed an exceptional job with handling my concerns and challenges. This person listened carefully to all of my requests to have my vehicle serviced; she re-emphasized all of my concerns for clarification, as well as, delivered my car promptly as promised. Id truly like to thank Kattie at your Pearson Hyundai dealership on Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, VA for offering #1 world class service. Ive visited your location in the past and witnessed less than outstanding customer service; however, I must admit that Kattie has surpassed all of my expectations. Furthermore, when I realized that a few action items werent completed as requested, I followed up/contacted Kattie and she provided me with an immediate resolution. These are the type of qualities and positive energy people your Hyundai dealership should be employing. This type of atmosphere displayed by Kattie will always bring previous purchasers back to your store. Again, great job Kattie! I wish you much success within your future endeavors. Best regards, Vincent
First let me say, everyone at Pearson Hyundai on Midlothian tnpk were very curious and made me feel very comfortable. I fell in love with my new 2022 Hyundai Sonata sel plus as soon as I saw it in the show room on 9-18-21. I pick Hyundai car because its performance and warranty. Mr George Best and finance Mgr Angie are the absolute best in their field of work. I went to alot of dealerships prior to coming to Pearson and no other dealership employees treated as well as Pearson did. I would recommend that particular dealership to all my friends and family.
My car required a warranty repair on the lift gate. The people I worked with could not have been nicer. After the parts arrived, I made an appointment and was in and out in just a hair over 3 hours.Pearson has free guest wifi so I was able to work remotely during my visit. My one wish would be they have private/semi private space for calls in their waiting area, but theyre not a library, so it is understandable.I will be back for my next oil change and scheduled maintenance soon.
I brought my car for review, the price they try to charge for the service, they say is absolutely necessary, is absurd. When I try to understand what they need to really fix in the car, they were extremely rude and evasive in response. For the service they say is necessary they charge a very high price, I did the service in another place for 35% of the price. This new Hunday location is terrible for services.
Had a fantastic buying experience with my new Genesis. Justin Avirom did a wonderful job showing me all the features of the car that I was not aware of after having done my own research. He really knows the product!A very pleasant experience from all departments involved in our recent transaction, and have taken our other Hyundai‘s in for service in the past, and have been pleased.Bought a Pearson Mazda 15 years ago, I’ve always been treated well by the Pearson family of dealers.Very happy to be in the Genesis family!
Our experience with Pearson was excellent! We were greeted within 1 minute of being on the lot, no hesitation with a test drive and then great customer service once we returned. They even delivered the car to our house the next day! I would recommend Kevin and Del (Curly) to anyone! Thanks Guys!!!
Kevin Jenkins was awesome! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very patient with my son with his first car purchase. I would feel very comfortable recommending him to my friends and family!
Just a great experience. Very happy with the service I received. Thank you to a great team. 👍👍👍👍👍
My son bought his first car here with help from Noah and it was a great experience. Noah was very accommodating and knowledgeable on all our questions and went the extra mile on a used car sale. Really appreciated the customer service. Everyone from sales to finance were on point and professional. The quickest purchase I have ever been a part of. Awesome.
Great service very happy with our car!
I had to sign into my other email just to leave another review for KRYSTAL!! She is an absolutely exceptional human being. Just overall amazing. She is the only one I trust to do items on my car just because she’s so supportive and caring and has such a sunshiny personality. Love her!!! She knows her stuff!
The reason for the 3 out of 5 is simple. I called several weeks ago and was looking for a Santa Fe and the person on the phone has a strong accent and I couldnt understand him well. He seemed to get frustrated and speak louder as if that was the problem, which it wasnt. I felt as though he was getting annoyed with me for my lack of understanding what he was saying. To make my life easier I turned to the website and found exactly what I was looking for a 2017 3rd row seating Santa Fe. I did a website inquiry for this 2017 Santa Fe and made an appointment on a Friday to see that car the following Monday. Everything was smooth I confirmed the appointment that I booked online with a young woman on the phone about 15 minutes later. my husband and I were running a little late so I emailed to convey that message (only about 20 min behind).I am very disappointed to say that the car was in the service department. And the sales associate would no bring it out. So I dont know if they were literally working on it or if it was in the que to be worked on.It boils down to this: its just poor customer service to have four full days to get that car serviced (if it really needed to be) and ready for a scheduled showing of the car to a prospective purchaser; however it wasnt ready for my Monday evening scheduled appointment. Im not sure what occurred but it was poor planning on whom ever schedules maintaining cars. I wont be back unless they can guarantee me what ever it is Im looking at will be available to be seen.
Horrible! Older Ladies, especially if you are on your own…Beware! They will Bait and Switch you all the way…this is the worst car dealership I have ever been too…0 integrity! Go to John Price in Charlottesville! Well worth the drive and they treated me like a queen!!
Great experience with Del!! He made our purchase easy and explained everything to us regarding the car and warranty. Very pleased!!
Too bad google does not have a 0 star rating because that is what I would give them. I purchased a car from them a month ago and they STILL have not paid off the loan on the car that I traded in. Yes they told me it could take up to 20 days (which is ridiculous also because they could wire the money in a matter of days but whatever) but now it has been a month and my old finance company is looking for me to make another payment on a car that I no longer have. And of course I have to make a payment on the new car that I purchased from them also. I have placed 5 phone calls to Pearson Hyundai and every time I was transferred and either the line disconnected or it went to voicemail even though I told the receptionist every time that I needed to speak to a person. I am now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Hyundai deserves 0 stars! I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport that I bought brand new and this car has been consuming oil and now I have an engine light on. I called the dealership and Lisa told me that I would be able to bring in my vehicle and have it serviced. Lisa told us that with it being an engine problem we are covered under our warranty and that we do not have to pay a fee for the service. However, once I got to the dealership I was expected to pay the oil change and diagnostic of $180.00 to see what was going on with my car! This vehicle is under warranty! Why are you making me pay for an engine issue that Hyundai created? Nobody was able to help me understand why I had to pay the fee. The employees were extremely rude and so was the Service Manager Melissa. At first they make you feel so happy when purchasing a car, but when theres a problem Hyundai acts as if they dont even know you. At this point, I am fed up with Hyundai and I have lost all trust with them.
Justin is the best. Understanding, considerate and he listens and tries his best.
Paul Hogan was our salesman. Super easy to work with and was prompt and courteous. Good pricing
Crystal in the service department is incredible. She communicates extremely well and she is very transparent. Pearson is fortunate to have her on their team!!
I have bought many cars in my life, but my experience at Pearson Hyundai was the easiest, best, most wonderful car buying experience I have EVER had!!!From my salesman Justin, who did everything he possibly could to get my monthly car payment to a amount I could manage easily each month,to Angela who did my paperwork and made it a super easy process!!! They showed respect and concern for me through the whole process and I am Thankful to both of them! I tell everyone I know about my AWESOME EXPERIENCE at PEARSON and I would highly recommend to anyone to buy a car from them! You won’t be disappointed that’s for sure!!!
No option for 0 stars. There was a time when I took my Hyundai Tucson to Pearson Hyundai for all service needs. That stopped, when time after time, with an appointment, I waited over 2 hours for an oil change and the service team seemed to be annoyed with life in general. Unfortunately, there was a recall on my vehicle, so I set up a time to take it in and was told it would be about an hours wait. At the 1 hour mark, the technician (TJ/aka Thomas) came out, called me by name, and told me I needed a new air filter, a radiator flush and that my battery was testing at 50% (he showed me a print-out). I had replaced the filter less than 2 months ago, and the battery is a 75 month battery purchased 25 months ago. When I refused his offer to do the work, he told me my vehicle was ready and he would bring it around for me. I waited at the entrance for 15 minutes, and finally asked the receptionist to check to see where it was. No one could find TJ. 10 minutes later, he drove into the lot in someone elses vehicle. One of the folks looking for him sent him my way, and he told me it wasnt ready. They were just getting ready to do the work-at which point I reminded him that he had told me 30 mins before that it was ready. He denied it. Others in the waiting room nodded their heads that they heard the same. Yesterday, I took my car back to where the battery had been purchased, and they tested it-its fine. Oddly enough, a friend had taken her car into the Kia dealer for warranty work the same day, same story. She was told she needed a battery and air filter, and a bulb was out-all of which had just been replaced. I have left messages for Melissa, who is apparently the manager of the service department, but I guess shes too busy concocting ways to scam customers to return my calls.
I had a negative experience with the associate Paul Rogan at Pearson Hyundai this morning. The whole meeting lasted 10 minutes if that.I was explicitly clear over the phone & email for weeks that I would be coming in to place an order for the Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy according to my spec. He stated that is fine and we will get it done during the appointment.During the appointment today I reiterated my intentions again first thing when greeted at the door as I did not want to waste any time. We get to Rogans office and he proceeds to coerce me into potentially buying other trims and incoming vehicles. Rogan also explicity stated that Hyundai no longer takes orders for customized vehicles. My time has been wasted and I have been intentionally lied to in order to get me into the Pearson Hyundai dealership location. I do not appreciate a lying/deception tactic to move inventory by Paul Rogan.Ill leave this review wherever else possible. Thank you.
The experience was very positive. They gave me a very fair trade value and made everything simple. Mike Spease is great to work with. Highly recommended!
Our experience originally was very good, however, my 5 star rating is being changed to a 1 star. When we purchased the vehicle and before we drove off the lot, we pointed out a small ding in a piece of window trim and some imperfections relating to the clear rear bumper protector. We were assured they would be replaced under warranty.Several months later and after several unanswered and unreturned phone calls to the service writer and service department, both issues still exist. I guess once you pay big money for a car then drive off the lot you’re no longer important. Considering what we paid for our Genesis I expected more.
I am completely disappointed with my services. I have a Hyundai Electra 2017. The white paint on these vehicles is horrible. Hyundai put in a a claim and the damages were covered. They brought the vehicle back with additional damages such as the car pieces were not correctly replaced and there were new chippings. I have never had an accident and the service manager Melissa from the Hyundai dealership on Midlothian told me that “these are impact damages” which is not true. In addition to my case worker Crystal giving me a hard time, they took the rental. I have been without my for 15 days. I will not be purchasing with Hyundai again (although I love my vehicle). They are now requiring that I pay half of the coverage $450 for the damages that they did and the car has not even been in my possession. I’m extremely frustrated and inconvenienced! Please choose a different car company!
Drop the vehicle off to have a couple of recalls taken care of and have them work on the air condition that weve had problems with for the entire nine years and had bought the vehicle brand new from Pearson. The vehicle has been to Pearson Hyundai service three different times for air condition problems and this time they charged me for it. Unexpected, and unacceptable.
Great people best car buying experience ever. Paul the salesman was terrific did everthing he said he would .
Excellent customer service. Willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your car. Have purchased four cars from them and will definitely use them in the future.
RYAN GRANT WAS AMAZING! I walked in there not expecting to buy that day but he gave me such a great deal on my car that I couldnt say no plus when different expenses came up on my end he kept helping me out anyway he could, thats a real car salesman! The financial office was Great as well they went thru step by step and let me know exactly what I was getting into. Great experience!
Best experience I have ever received while buying a car. The car we went in looking for was purchased earlier that day. The team at Pearson Hyundai went above and beyond to find the perfect car for our family at a monthly rate we could afford. They even stayed an hour after closing to get everything we needed done. Everyone was so polite and made our car buying experience that much more amazing. Thank you we are so happy with our new car!!
Fantastic customer service from John Judy! He helped us with turning our 2 vehicles we brought in into 2 brand new vehicles with no hassle and nothing down with great rates! Loved our experience and IF we ever need a new vehicle, we will definitely go back there! Highly recommend!!!
Ryan and the staff at Hyundai were very helpful in helping me get the car I wanted. The entire process was swift and painless and I LOVE my new car. They followed up with me weeks later to make sure I didn’t have any questions and the warranty is top tier!
Extremely poor customer service. We went to see Genesis SUV worth $60000. They were not welcoming. Then they said, we can’t take the car to the highway, we can’t drive more then 9 miles, we can’t exceed 40 miles speed, he will accompany us without a mask. We didn’t want to do the test drive with so much complications and we went to give feedback to the manager and he asked me who the sales guy was and that’s it. No regrets or apologizes. I know the cars are in high demand now, but everything will turn around one day and you cannot treat your customers like trash. The sales guy we dealt with was Adil. Would never go again.
If I could give this dealership a 0 stars I would. The experience was absolutely horrible for my brother. We went in to explore and found a car, they didn’t have it in a color we wanted so we had to place a deposit to secure the color. The first quote they gave was for a car that was in the similar price range, as they can only give a quote for cars they have in the showroom. We didn’t like the offer so we left. Two days later we were contacted by the same salesman, Noah. He asked about the offer, we let him know what the highest price we were willing to go. He gave us something close to our highest willing price, but only if we were to deposit the money that day. We made the deposit and waited on the printed quote on paper to be emailed to us or tested to us. They don’t respond for 2 days, and after 2 days they called us in. When we got there they said that Noah left and we were approached by another salesman. At this point, we talked over text and we were given a whole different and higher price by this new salesman. We talked for a bit about the previous quote and the manager said they will give us the previous price which was lower, so we went in again. At this point, they gave us something higher once again. So we got in a little discussion how unethically it was for them to not act and be committed to their word. At this point we were talking to Ross, and his manager, Rick Garland overheard our discussion and came over. Now this is where it’s really annoyed and gets us mad on his behavior. He tried to show us indirectly that we are incompetent and have never shopped for a car before. He was very rude and started yelling in front of others and in front of my two year old niece. She started crying and behaved rudely to the women as well. He eventually kicked us out. Overall I would never visit this dealership and once again, if I could give this place 0 or negative stars I would.
Prices are are close to competitors. If you can find a better price with more friendly service somewhere else go there.Service department is slow, multiple hours for a scheduled oil change. Something that can be done for the same price in 10 minutes elsewhere for the same or better price .Sales Staff seems to not really care about helping customers. I am a returning customer and the last time (3/13) my Wife and I visited to look at a new SVU and inquire about trade in options no one even looked our way or said hi. We looked at 4 different show floor models. We got in them, discussed features and options. We were in the show room for about 1/2 hour. Many associates passed us and yet none of them said anything, not even hi or have you been helped. When we finally left one of the two sales staff sitting on the bench outside the front door (who watched us walk in earlier and said nothing) said goodbye. I made a comment that it seemed no one seemed to want to sell a car. The sales staff member said he could get someone. I said no thanks we had been there for 30 minutes with no assistance. He simply replied OK.
By far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had! John Judy and Angela in the finance department were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend them enough! I left there with a newer and nicer vehicle than expected. I will definitely use Pearson in the future!
SEAN WAS AMAZING! He made my car buying experience super easy and enjoyable. He listened to my needs and did t just try to sell me something, and I appreciated that! Overall BEST car buying experience I’ve ever had!
Ahdy Ibrahim as well as Mike in the Finance Office & their Manager were all personable & gracious representatives. I had dealt with other dealerships in the area, but my sales experience at Pearson Hyundai was by far the best one. Would definitely recommend them to others.
I dropped my car off on a Friday and they said nothing to me about how they were moving locations. I tried to communicate with the dealership probably 25 times, but they disconnected their phone number during the move and none of my requests for a call back were met. I am not joking when I say I had no idea where my car was for like five days. Totally unprofessional, horrible communication, and the cherry on top was that when I FINALLY got my car, someone had spilled an entire cup of coffee onto the mat for my passenger seat and my entire car smelled like hot yogurt. I will never ever come here again unless there is no other option.
Krystal Is amazing! She made the process extremely easy, and was super efficient. I was a little worried considering it was my first time really having any kind of work done on my car, but she took care of me, sent me updates, and was extremely timely. SHES AWESOME. And I’ll be back just because of her.
Worked with us to insure a great experience. Team stayed late and made sure we walked out the door with a car that met our needs and provide us with outstanding customer service
I have purchased 6 cars over the past 20 years from Pearson and they were all Hyundai’s. They don’t use the typical hard sell tactics others do. I looked at lots of other cars and dealers but ended up back here and am happy with them.
My husband and I bought a car from this dealer a few years ago. Upon the purchase we were given the protective paint coating demo. They showed spray paint being applied to the car, scratches being done on the surface but not affecting the paint, ect. We were told that is coating would cover all weather, sun related damaged for up to 5 years. I have been calling the dealer for about 6 months to go over issues with the cars paint. There are several spot on the car that are exposed to direct sunlight that are now fading and peeling. It looks terrible. We have left several voice mails between Angela and Mike and Jackson however no one is ever available, in office, or can return not only a voice-mail, but a note from the reception office. This is the WORST customer service ever... Finally I decide to call on labor day and was able to get ahold of Angela who only then tells me that if the paint has peeled, it will not be covered but I can still be transferred to make an appt in the service department for review. It only covers fading and water spot from acid rain, not even scratches even though that was shown in the demo.. False advertisement much? Then I said well I guess you can.. and she hung up on me... LOL. Thanks!! They made this coverage sound amazing yet it cover anything. It is a 100% waste of money for the consumer and just puts more money in their pockets. I will never buy from a Pearson dealer again and hope that if someone else does... they dont waste their money on that bogus paint protection package.
The best sales people are at this location. They were all so kind to my mom when we were looking for my parents first ever Hyundai (they ended up getting the Santa Fe which is amazing by the way). My dad and I did all of the research and test driving because my mom was tired in the course of her cancer treatment. But before buying my dad wanted her to see it. Not only did the team make a special effort to keep her comfortable while visiting, but they ensured the SUV was ready for her to sit in the moment we arrived. My most recent visit was for the 15k service and a state inspection. The service team is efficient and reliable. Thanks Pearson Hyundai. Special shout out to Mike S. our salesman and now three years later, friend.
Pearson Hyundai was absolutely wonderful! After having an awful experience with first car at Richmond Ford West, I was very scared to buy another car of a dealership. As soon as I walked in to Pearson I immediately felt welcomed. My salesman Ryan was great and Angela who did the administrative part felt like family. I will continue to be a loyal customer. Thanks again!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff who provides superb customer service!!! The entire transaction, from scheduling with Ashley to working with the salesman John and finally wrapping up with Angela in finance, was stellar. Their team works diligently to provide the best car buying experience and I would highly recommend.
We were interested in the car (2021 GV80) and chose a dealer near family for convenience. Our smaller city does not have a Genesis dealer. We drove a demo and liked the car and made a deposit on a different colored car, located by computer in NJ. A couple of weeks went by as our sales rep attempted to get the car transferred to his dealership. Eventually the answer from NJ was “no”, so we began our search anew. Finally found an acceptable car in NC and we paid to have it trucked here. Very surprising and frustrating to have this much difficulty getting the vehicle of our choice. Genesis has a ways to go with their new luxury brand with this customer treatment.
A Great selection of Hyundai cars & SUVs. You can look at vehicles on-line and on the lot after business hrs. The two toned black & white 2021 Hyundai Sonata is Pristine🚗
Pearson Hyundai made the extra effort to address a concern I had with my most recent car service experience. They heard my concern and resolved it to my great satisfaction. Thank you so much!
Worst place I have ever taken my car. unresponsive service dept and sales dept. Ive been in here 3-4 times in the past year. today is the 9th day in a row I have had to call. every time i have been told Id get a call back. we are so short staffed and busy I am happy to take business elsewhere to free up time for you
Working with service director, Melissa Best, was a pleasure. In response to my previous survey, Melissa called to listen to my concerns and she was determined to get to a solution. Melissa called multiple times until the issue was resolved. A customer service team that listens is one that cares. She shared a sense of empathy and understanding that one usually wouldnt equate with a car dealership or service department. I appreciate her response and the follow-up calls from Melissa and her team. Although, the work wasnt what I needed on the first go-around, I appreciate that the customer service was right from the beginning. Kudos to the Hyundai team for going above and beyond to deliver customer care.
Love Pearson Hyundai! I have purchased our last three vehicles here. The manager, Ross, is fantastic, and Audy, our salesperson was great!
Everyone was so friendly and listened to what I wanted and didnt want. Kevin Jenkins was by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with.
Brought my Elantra in Sunday evening.Placed keys in drop box.My car was ready by 9:30 Monday morning.Amazing, professional, courteous staff.
My vehicle is a limited edition 2016 Hyundai Tucson.I just financed the car end of August 2020. I’ve replaced my brakes, my engine, and my battery all within 8 months.. I went to Hyundai to have them look at my brakes about three or four times because they kept squeaking and was turned away stating there was no issue. I am the second owner with less than 100k miles smh.. I just got the car back from Hyundai after them keeping it for almost 3 months to replace the engine, which was covered by the warranty… then later on like two months and tell me that I need to replace the vacuum which was not covered by the warranty. but out of all that time you’re just now telling me to replace the battery after I’ve already wasted so much time waiting for you to replace the engine and the vacuum. I’m actually grateful that it was covered by the warranty because I would have been at least 8000 out-of-pocket and without a car if they did not give me the rental after they already had my car for nearly a month. But I’m more concerned about The time frame it took and the lack of communication from the staff, everyone but TJ.It’s bittersweet because I truly do love my car and although I felt like no one cared but one staff member, who does not call the shots, I cannot wait to trade this in☺️ I will choose a different dealer next time! Oh and my brakes are still squeaking !
Ahdy Ibrahim is extremely friendly and great to work with. My husband is a wise guy; Ahdy caught on quick and joked right along with him!
I purchased a new Hyundai SUV from this dealer several years ago. The service at the time was great. I remember a part in my car was recalled shortly after my purchase, situation that the dealer addressed quickly and professionally. However maybe 4 years into driving my car, I started having issues with the FOB key not working and the alarm going off all the time at the wrong places and the wrong times (apparently, this is a known issue with these cars according to other Hyundai owners Ive spoken with). To resume, when I first went in, they replaced the FOB key which only worked for about a year. Even since then, every time I went back the people in the service area did not seem to know what was going on - as if they didnt have notes from my previous visits- they were not friendly or helpful, and they went even as far as referring me to a place outside of the dealer that didnt even worked with Hyundai alarm systems. Luckily enough, I recently ran into a friend who recommended a local alarm company called American Lock and Key. These people were absolutely amazing and able to fix in 2 hours, an issue that Hyundai could NOT in 4 years. Although my car is now good and with many more miles to go, based on the customer service experience I had, I am positive I could not purchase from this dealer ever again.
I dropped my car off last week because I kept hearing this knocking noise whenever I pressed the brake. 3 days after dropping it off Im called in to pick it up, they say all it was were some pebbles in the brakes, which they cleaned up and it was good to go. Had to pay $129 for a diagnostic test. New issue starts after I pick up the car and am on my way home. I go to turn the AC on and nothing happens. The light isnt turning on and its blowing warm air. I was of course concerned because there were no issues whatsoever with the AC prior to dropping the car off yet at some point in those 3 days it stopped working. I called the service center to see if they had any idea what might have happened and the guy on the phone said hed talk with the advisor who worked on my car and give me a call back. Well, that was about a week ago and no one ever bothered to get back in touch. I ended up taking my car elsewhere to get checked out and the mechanic says that theres no power at the module. Fuse is fine, compressor fine, but the module is what seems to be the issue. Also said theres a TSB for the issue and that I have to go back to the dealership. Now, aside from still being confused as to how this happened so suddenly in the 3 days I left my car there, im also really confused as to how this issue wasnt noticed by the service center? Maybe I have the wrong idea about what a diagnostic test is, but I was under the impression that it involved checking for all possible issues with the car, in which case, would a technical issue like this not have come up while running that test? Or was the $129 diagnostic test just them checking my brakes? Or did someone notice this and just not say anything? I appreciate my first issue being taken care of but I now suddenly have a new problem to deal with.
Unfortunately my car was totaled during our recent ice storm and I was not anxious to buy a car to replace it. Mr. Ahdy made the process painless. He was transparent, knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. I would most certainly recommend his services the next time anyone needed to purchase a car.
Kevin Jenkins was again an outstanding salesman for Pearson Hyundai .He has sold myself and other family members cars . He really works for the customer . Thanks sir outstanding job
Easy process. Second car we bought from them. Great staff from sales to finance. Would definitely go there again.
Ryan was wonderful from start to finish! Incredibly helpful, personable and followed up with me about a week after purchase. It felt like a zero rush sale even though I bought the only model they had lol I recommend coming to this dealership!
The whole crew was awesome. Best buying experience ever!
We have had excellent service since we purchased our Tuscon in 2017. Great customer service skills and would buy another Hyundai without hesitation and it would be from Pearson!
I have used Pearson Hyundai for car service for ten years with no issues until now. I brought my car in for an oil change and asked them to check a strange noise I weve been hearing from the car. Service rep TJ said it will be 130.00 for diagnostics . After diagnostics were done was told the noise was due to the wheels being unbalanced and needing a alignment . I thought this was odd because I just had an alignment done a few months ago at Firestone, Pearson was going to charge me 400 bucks to align the wheels and rotate the tires, but I declined and went back to Firestone to do the alignment. I waited and watched Firestone check the alignment. There was no issue. Firestone rotated the tires and gave me a printout of the alignment specs (something Pearson didnt do). When I called Pearson back and told them Firestone found no issue the service rep TJ proceeded to give me the run around. I asked for the alignment spec sheet that shows how much it was out of alignment and he didnt have one. I asked to speak to the service manager, he said he would relay the message because she was unavailable, a day pass and no one call me, so I call and ask to speak to the service manager and was transfered to voicemail. This is going on 3 days and no one has called me back. At this point its obvious that Pearson service just eyeballed my tires and said I need an alignment without properly checking the alignment. I did not pay 130.00 dollars for a guess. Highly disappointed and would like my money back. I will dispute this charge if I dont hear from anyone.
Got a fantastic deal for our daughters first new car. Thanks to all of you folks for doing such a great job for my daughter.
Pearson Hyundai provided an exceptional purchasing experience from providing a complete review of all the features of the Genesis GV80, purchasing process, detail cleaning of the vehicle, delivery of the vehicle to my home, follow up review and questions of the vehicle and ongoing updates and follow up on any additional questions or concerns we may have. Overall the process was painless leaving us extremely satisfied with our purchase from Pearson’s.
Shawn was very professional and great to work with for buying our new Hyundai Pallisade. It was the best car buying experience we have ever had. Thank you Shawn we love our new car.
I didnt buy a car from here, since i just purchased one from a near by competitor. If I didnt, this may have been a solid second option for me.
I would Higjly recommend, working with Pearson Dealership located off Midlothian, VA. I went to another Hyundai dealership, got the run around. I drove straight over to Pearsons, which a friend recommended. Del & Mike assisted me.. They did what they said and didnt make fault claims for a sale. Del was very helpful with showing me different options. They worked together, as a team to meet my buget needs.I drove away with a my new Hyundai, Tucson 2021.
They always take good care of my car
The service was great as always. Pearson Hyundai always respects the time of their customers. I am always pleasantly greeted by the staff.
Helpful and courteous in showing inventory.
I love this places the staff are awesome...My salesperson Mike Spease is great...The best places to get your car hands down.. I had a awesome experience looking for a car I love my new car...Thanks to my Pearson Hyundai Family.....
My car was handle with the best of care and cost effective spares used in the repairs,
I give this dealership two stars one because I absolutely love my car and two because the gentleman who helped me has great customer service. Now I feel like this dealership if very unorganized and unprofessional I got my car on the 23rd of February and ever since then it has been an hassle still until this day. I am honestly getting so fed up I wish I could just give the car back and take my money elsewhere. They asked for documents and we gave them the needed documents then they came back and said all those documents wasn’t sufficient enough and asked for different documents now again those documents aren’t sufficient so again I have to send in more documents. This whole process is ridiculous and frustrating and I can’t wait until the car is paid in full and I no longer have to work with this company again.
I got a great pre-owned Hyundai at a fair price. Pearson Hyundai has a professional and attentive staff and Noah was very patient while helping me find the right car for me at the best price.
The man that helped me was really polite and answered all my questions.his name was Jamison Chapman he was a real person he sat with me from beginning to end went out of his was to make me feel comfortable he needs a raise I’ve never had any sales person not try to push me into buying something but it did help the the vehicle I was looking at was low mileage one owner and exactly what I was looking for so thank you Jamison and thank you Pearson Hyundai. Cynthia Johnson
Parking could be better, but salesman George Best was very kind without being pushy. He took his time to show us the best model on the lot.
Excellent sales experience... we only were looking for a used car with a very specific price range and Monier (guy from Jerusalem he said) found us only one option but it was a great option - lovely one-owner low mileage Toyota trade-in. Price was not exactly what we wanted but the sales manager got us to a reasonable we both could agree on. I really cant say I have had many good experiences *ever* at dealerships, but one like this sure would make me want to visit the next time we need a car for sure.
