The other review regarding Josh Meeh is 100% completely accurate. JOSH IS A LIAR, A CHEAT, and will tell you exactly what he thinks you want to hear in order to make the sell. I purchased a 1968 Mustang Fastback from Josh (back in April of this year) and he did nothing but lie to me throughout the entire process. I was told that this vehicle was in excellent condition with no rust. What a joke. When the car was delivered you could see the street through the floor boards while driving the vehicle!!!! Thats how bad the rust was on this vehicle. The engine had no oil pressure and I contacted him immediately regarding this. He specifically told me to have the oil pump replaced and he would pay for it. Josh offered to reimburse me the $1000 I spent to install a new oil pump, and I am still waiting to see my money. DO NOT BUY THIS FROM GUY!!!!!!! HE IS A CON-ARTIST AND A THIEF!!!! I have already contacted the attorney general and submitted the letter that I have signed by Josh promising me he will send a $1000 check. I have hired a lawyer to go after this loser, and believe me I will get my money. He took advantage of a nice, trusting guy in another state, but I am going to make sure he doesnt do this to anyone else. . I will post the pictures of the Rust eaten Fastback I purchased (What a Joke this Car is), along with the signed letter (from josh himself) promising me I will get reimbursed the $1000 I spent out of pocket. This car was completely worthless. I had to have it completely restored and repainted. I am out thousands of dollars over this deal. This LIAR should not be allowed to even sell cars anymore. Please buyer BEWARE of JOSH MEEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased a 77 chevy 4x4... josh worked with me on the cost and i was very satisfied with the deal.... my title was sent promptly as he said and i plan on doing business with line star again
I contacted Josh at Lonestar Classic Motors when my daughter asked if I could locate a cool car for her and her husband to use as a getaway car following their wedding ceremony and reception. Josh delivered in a big way. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time dressed in the traditional professional chauffeurs uniform driving an immaculate, totally refurbished classic car. The car and the sendoff was definitely one of the highlights of the days events and a great culmination to the evening. Thanks Josh for helping us make the event a big success!
Josh really worked hard to earn my trust, he followed through on every aspect of the purchase and did what he said he was going to do. I would do business with LoneStar Classics Motors again and hope to do more business with Josh and his Company soon. Thanks again for a great experience !.
They have a ton of cool cars and I found the car I have always wanted. There were some issues of miscommunication but Josh cleared it all up and we found a great way to work it out. If you are looking for a classic car I couldnt tell you anywhere else has a better selection
Bought a beautiful 66 Mustang fromJosh at Lonestar Classic Motors. I willdo business with them again and would recommend this business to anyone.
Purchased a 67 Fastback GT from Josh at LCM in June 2017 and had a few differences in the beginning. But Josh was more than willing to work with me to resolve all issues in a timely manner.
Josh, the owner, is two people -- pre-sale hes charming and funny and cooperative. Post-sale hes quite different. I made an out-of-state purchase of a very expensive Mustang from LCM and for some reason Josh is refusing to send its title, and he refuses to explain why, leaving me with no alternative than to seek legal, and maybe criminal action against him.Is this the type of person you want to do business with? Absolutely not. You have been warned.Josh has since sent the title. But the question remains: do you want to do business with someone who only does the right thing when threatened with legal action?
Their descriptions of vehicles are extremely misleading. I saved myself a huge financial loss and headache by getting a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle Lonestar has listed. Their description doesn’t come close to the results I received from inspector. The vehicle is unsafe and not much more than a parts car.I am sure some of their vehicles are worth purchasing, just get a PPI.
Very satisfied with my experience! Thanks again Josh !
A month ago I bought a 1968 Dodge Charger from Mr. Josh Meeh who was supportive and walked me through to get my car shipped on time.
I bought a 1969 GTO from this company. The price of the car included new paint and A/C. I had trouble with the A/C and a few other things. Josh did the right thing and fixed it. I am a satisfied customer.
I contacted Lonestar Classic Motors owner Josh Meeh about installing a Vintage Air a/c system in my 1972 Chevrolet Blazer. Mr. Meeh had placed an ad online advertising the installation of this system. On July 16, after we had agreed on a price and the type of system, I paid for the parts up front. It was supposed to be for the Vintage Air Gen IV system kit and a compressor. I dropped my vehicle off at the Lonestar office on August 3. Mr. Meeh said it would be done in about a week. After about 10 days I hadnt been contacted. When I called Mr. Meeh, he told me it wasnt a quick fix shop it was custom work and it would take more time. I told him I understood and that I would like to get updates on the progress. On September 7 I went and picked up my truck from the Lonestar shop and it was still not completed. I paid for part of the labor and Mr. Meeh said he would send his mechanic to my house to finish the job. On October 14 Mr. Meeh contacted me about finishing the job. On October 26 the job was completed. Since its completion I have discovered that the system is not the system I had originally thought. It is a different brand that is cheaper than the one I paid for. The system leaks water into the floor board of the truck. The controls do not work correctly. The defrost feature doesnt work properly. And on top of the system not working there is also damage done to the dash of the vehicle. Deep scratches were made while cutting out the vents for the a/c system. The stereo system was also damaged in the installation as none of the rear speakers work anymore. I am unsatisfied with the every aspect of the product and service I received.
This place isnt at the marker specified. The property is now owned by Vortex Construction. The guy is selling out his house on Marie Ln.
