First of all I want to say Jeffrey was absolutely amazing! He never once was pushy, tried to sneak anything in a deal or hide any information. I called about a car that literally hadnt even hit the lot yet and drove it home! This was by far the easiest car deal we have ever done. We walked in with a set price, set payment and a set value for our trade and thats exactly what we got. Jack Burford has definitely earned our future business
We had a wonderful experience at this dealership which was a relief since we had driven 2hrs to purchase a vehicle from them! Wes made the process easy and hassle free! We didnt feel pressured to make a decision we werent comfortable with (weve all had buyers remorse before....). Also appreciated that they didnt pass us off from a sales person to another person, to a higher up person, and then to a finance person.....they have a hybrid system in place where we stayed in the same office we started in with the same person we started with! It was nice to deal continuously with the same person and not be passed off! Wes is a gem to this dealership, he really cares about the customer and getting them the best possible deal that works for them! One of the worst experiences ever!!! They cannot even return phone calls to try to work something out. We bought a 2017 Cadillac Escalade with 117,000 miles, 1 owner. 2 weeks later and not even 800 miles the valve puts a hole into the block. Leaves my wife and 4 kids stranded on a very busy road and almost gets rear ended by a dump truck. Supposedly they checked this car out before we picked it up. But what happened to the engine, just dont happen that quickly. So now, they wont return phone calls, answer email or voicemails. NOTHING!I WOULD NOT BUY A CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!EVER
We have always been faithful customers of Jack Burford. We have bought at least 4 cars from them maybe more. I had always been very pleased with my experience until now. Bought a 2020 Chevy truck in March 2020 and purchased an extended warranty at that time. We sold the truck in March 2021 and have been trying to cancel this extended warranty and receive a pro-rated refund ever since. I have spoken to the general manger and communicated via email several times. I sent all the requested information to him in April. It is now almost August and I still have not received a dime. Evidently I have been lied to the entire time because after speaking directly with All State Car Care I was informed that no one from the dealership had made any contact with them to cancel this warranty and that the refund I was supposed to receive comes directly from Jack Burford Chevy. Now after all these attempts I can not get any response to my emails and the general manager will not answer any of my attempted phone calls. Evidently customer service and keeping loyal customers is not something they are interested in.

Very disappointed. Worked with Billy online and over the phone purchasing a truck for my college student son. Promised I could get a Virginia Title and transfer my current tags over. This was a key factor in the sale. I asked about this several times. On delivery of the vehicle I was not informed that they were unable to transfer the tags. I only found this out when I asked, had been driving it with my tags. During the sale they were very responsive, especially when trying to sell an extended warranty. They were very responsive in taking my deposit which they said they probably would not run, but they did. Told me that they could offer only $250 for my trade in (which did not surprise me, I wasnt expecting anything) but they did tell me that one of the salesmen would pay me $750 for it when he got his commission check on Friday. Of course come Friday no word from him. They were very responsive in making sure my money wire went thru. I had to come back in to get temp tags which were supposed to be ready, they werent. I guess the service at Jack Burford Chevrolet ends when they get their money. Now still have no title, (i know slow down blah blah) I still only have temp tags, no power steering and a check engine light. Devyn did offer a free diagnostic, but couldnt schedule it. Said several drove it but since my college son did a test drive, well he drove it . So buyer beware- their used vehicles are not worked on / looked at, I guess it is just wash and go.

On March 16, 2021 I bought a 2000 Infinity I30 from Jack Burford for $4,000 including ttl. I had contacted a few places online that morning and J.T. from Jack Burford was one of the people that messaged me back. I explained my situation to him. Im a single mom with two, young, disabled boys. I was in desperate need of a car. I was afraid of getting ripped off if I bought from a random person or a shady used car lot. I was much more comfortable buying from a dealership. I went that day and test drove the car. It seemed to run good. It only had 80,000 miles which was a big draw for me. It had good tires. The exterior looked good. I could tell the interior hadnt been cleaned but it wasnt real bad. J.T. mentioned later as we were talking that the service center only had one guy working and was very backed up. I was so happy and excited that day and so were my two boys! We finally had a car again! I had a few errands to run before I got home. I ended up getting caught up in 5:00 traffic. Then at a stoplight, I give the car gas and the engine revs but the car goes nowhere! I let off the gas and tried again and it jumped forward. Thank God I was close to home because I barely made it there! I texted J.T. as soon as I got home (I still have all our texts). He never responded. I felt sick and sucked because I didnt have a warranty. I didnt have the money to get it checked because I just spent all my money buying the car. I continued to drive it. It only did it after being driven for a long period of time or sitting idle like in a drive thru. It was always fine after it cooled off. I went out to start my car on April 21st to take my youngest son to Daniel Boone and it wouldnt start. It just clicks once when I turn the key over. Probably the stater everyone says. I dont have the money to fix this car I paid $4,000 for barely a month earlier. I had just texted J.T. earlier in the week because I hadnt received my title or tags yet and my temporary tags were expired expired. No response again. Why is the salesperson ignoring me after the sale? Where is the customer service? Im extremely disappointed and would warn anyone to be careful if buying a used car here. Im looking out my window at the $4,000 I spent there a little over a month ago. Its sitting in my driveway and doesnt run.

Their online payment did charge my card twice, but the lady in the office had already caught it and issued a refund before I picked up my car. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a mostly positive experience at this dealer. I live about an hour away from them and wanted to get all the financing and haggle work out of the way before I drove there so I didn’t waste anybody’s time. The dealership did exactly as they stated they would on the phone with regards to my trade and the new car price. I am very satisfied with that part of the experience. The only negatives were mainly just sitting there. So after I had test drove the car I sat for well over 30 minutes without anybody talking to me In the lobby. Not even my sales person said a word to me he was busy with another customer. I would say to my salesman try to focus on one customer at a time. At least check in with me. The only person that said two words to me during this time was the receptionist at the front desk. She could see I hadn’t been acknowledged in a while and offered to get me a drink and spoke a few words here and there to me. I didn’t get her name but thank you for that. Other than sitting there for a while by myself the car buying experience was smooth and once the contract was signed i was on my way. Not the smoothest experience salesman wise but overall a good one and I would return to buy another car here.
Do not go here. Go anywhere else. These people do not care about your safety or your family safety. We bought a car from them and lied to our faces. They told us the old owner of the car was a friend of theirs and told them that he had just had the brakes replaced. Well my husbands brakes just went out. the locked up and one fell off in our driveway. THAT IS RIGHT FELL OFF! On top of that it also messed up the caliper. We are now paying 280 for yet another fix. we bought this car for 10,000 a year ago. Since then we have had to pay over 2,000 dollars in different fixes . I am just thankful my 3 and 7 year old werent in the car.

I purchased a used car from Burford Chevrolet on January 15, 2021 and I couldnt be happier. The sales team were all very nice and polite, not pushy at all, which I really appreciated. I researched the car I bought for several weeks within a 200mi radius of my home, and Burford Chev had the best deal. They also gave me a good offer on my trade-in. I took my car there twice in regards to my 3rd brake light. The first time they installed my new 3rd brake light, but it still wasnt working. They didnt investigate on why, just said it was close to the shops closing time, and if I wanted them to diagnose the issue, that Id have to make another appointment, which I did. On the 2nd appointment, which was at 1:15 which gives them almost 4 hours to find the issue, I showed up at 12:45. I checked in and they got in my car, drove it out of the check in bay, and parked it just outside of the bay for over 2 hours. They never came back for my car until 3pm. Then when they did come get it, all they checked was the brake light switch and a couple of fuses, they never checked wiring harnesses to make sure they were connected properly, any sort of ohm testing for broken wires, nothing. I drive a 13 camaro so the 3rd brake light is in the rear deck panel beside the rear speakers, so you have to dismantle the entire backseat and trim to get to it, which they didnt do to properly inspect the issue. It makes me skeptical if they even changed out my old brake light with my new one. ONLY REASON for 1 stars is that they didnt charge for second visit, but was a waste of time and gas, as it took me 45 minutes to get there
My truck (1500 HD) required 75W-90 gear lube in the front differential. The receipt didnt state what weight oil was used. Transmission fluid and filter change did not include draining the fluid from the torque converter which is half the transmission fluid. Cost of the fluid changes averaged $174, which I thought was overly priced. Service was completed in a timely matter. That was good. Edit: After talking to Rick, the service senior tech, I was assured that Burford Chevrolet did what their service guidelines recommended.
This is my 2nd new vehicle I have purchased at Jack Burford. Great experience again. All my questions were answered. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Very satisfied with the service and process of getting a vehicle.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DONT BUY FROM THIS LOT!! I called this dealership and told them I was driving 2 & 1/2 hours away to come and look at a truck I was seriously going to buy as long as everything checked out that they listed on the internet. When I got to the dealership the truck was gone being test driven by another customer who decided to buy the truck. I was told that they could not hold vehicles without a deposit...this was NEVER told to me on the phone when I called and the salesman I spoke to on the phone apologized for not informing me when I called. When I asked to speak to the manager about the situation he told me that he was told that I was informed on the phone of their policy to hold vehicles with a deposit which was a FLAT OUT LIE! The manager was not interested in making things right. I wasted 5 hours driving! Be forewarned this lot does not deal honestly!!
I took my vehicle in for a check engine light. I picked it up twice and had to return it right back because the engine light came back on each time and my car still didn’t drive right. Finally, on the third pickup and three fixes later my car was better. I had to pay more and more money each time. I will say the staff was nice and I was provided a loaner, but three times is crazy and having to continuously pay more and more money is not okay. I will not purchase another Chevy vehicle just to avoid this happening again.

I first called Burford to purchase a vehicle. I spoke to someone and he mentioned a vehicle option for me. I was looking to purchase within the next month. Within a week, JJ Dickerson had called me. He mentioned a couple vehicles, one being an infiniti. He drove it to my house in south Berea, we looked at it, test drove it, etc. I was in love. When I received the money I was waiting on, I contacted JJ. He always was quick to respond, polite and ready to go. We set a mtg place and we drove to Richmond. JJ took my trade-in to let his supervisor drive it. He returned and we talked over the paperwork. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to get as much out of my trade-in as we had hoped, leaving the infiniti above my price max. JJ looked and had a 2011 Chevy Traverse that he offered to bring over and show, even without my trade-in, it was less than my budget. When he brought the traverse, we looked it over and test drove it. JJ encouraged me, but was in no way a pushy salesman. I really appreciated that!! I ended up purchasing the traverse and while the papers were being written, JJs supervisor called me offering me a drivetrain warranty, making my choice even better. JJ has messaged me since my purchase to check in with me on my love for the traverse. I do still love it and when I need something different in the far future, I will be looking for JJ at Jack Burford in Richmond, KY!

Had an oil change done Saturday April 24th and noticed an oil leak a few days later, talked to the service department, and Ricky Middleton the service advisor there called me before they even opened to make it right with me, ended up not being any fault of Jack Burford’s employees, as it was a defective oil filter. But Ricky made sure to show me the problems and wanted to make it right. Definitely will be back for more business.

My FIL, Shelby Tyler has purchased his last three vehicles from Jack Burford (two new, one used) and has always raved about each of his experiences with Mr. Burford and the dealership as a whole. In March, when we started looking for a vehicle to replace our 14 year old Infiniti, he highly recommended we go to Jack Burford to test drive new SUVs. On Saturday morning, we traveled to Richmond to test drive and check out a Tahoe and a Suburban. Shortly after arriving at the dealership, we completely understood why he has raved about this dealership for over 14 years. Everyone we met and/or dealt with from the owner, to the front receptionist: John Burford - owner, James Cornelison - GM, JT Tipton, Ricky Middleton, Jeff Hounshell and Rebecca Schwendau were very personable, friendly and simply great stewards of customer service. They answered all of our endless questions thoroughly and with the upmost respect too. Yesterday afternoon, we traveled back to Richmond to finalize a deal on a 2021 Suburban. We are now the proud owners of two Suburbans - our 2007 Suburban was purchased from Jack Burford too by my FIL almost 15 years ago. I am unsure if my vehicle was looked over as I was told it would be.I registered for the oil change that included tire rotation but was told on pickup that rotation was not needed. I ALWAYS rotate my tires at every oil change and now Im told I dont need it. That might void my tire warranty.I asked about my brakes and after looking in the computer was told they were ok. Glad I asked because no where on my printout was there any summary of how my vehicle systems were, as I have received at all other Chevy dealers I have taken my Equinox in for oil changes.My rating is based on the speed you got me in and out on, but perhaps I over rated you since I question whether anything was looked at.A plus for checking lights and signals working when I pulled, important since KY has no yearly inspection.Will I come back for the next oil change? Thats what I will debate.
Looked at a truck with Manager Wes and salesman JT. Truck was just traded but nasty. They said they’d have it ready in 2 days and I was buying the truck. They sold it from under me after I plainly said I’d take it. These guys are not men of their word. Wes plainly said it would be waiting on me.This place is a joke

My husband traded in our former 2018 GMC Acadia for a brand new 2021 Chevrolet Blazer and noticed a deep scratch in the paint, brought this issue up to the salesman and they advised they will have it took care of. Husband took the Blazer for the scratch fix today and was told they did the best they could do but the scratch it still very visible Disappointed with the service.Update: my Blazer went back and got fixed and looks brand new.

Member of our family purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado the first week of March... Noticed a strange noise in vehicle days after owning it when in four wheel drive. Got it diagnosed 2 weeks later and found the transfer case was bad. Called dealership for help and was told that vehicle was bought as is and he should have bought extended warranty. Wont stand behind vehicle after 2 weeks. Calling previous owner this week to find out if this is why they traded it in

Im new to the Richmond area. Their service department conducted diagnostic testing to determine why my 2014 Chevrolet Traverse would not go into reverse & rear camera didnt function. They decided I needed a transmission mode module. They replaced the module for the price they quoted. I hope I will receive discount mailings from this dealership even though I didnt purchase from here.

I purchased a vehicle from them on March 26th 2021. I drove the vehicle approxamitely 20 minutes back to my home, to notice it was leaking oil pretty bad upon arrival. I returned the car the following day(3-27-2021) to have it checked out. I got a call on March 30th, 2021 stating my vehicle had a leaky oil drain plug and that the problem was resolved, so I went and picked my vehicle up. Drove it 13 miles back to berea, and it was still leaking oil, so I returned the vehicle back to the dealership again.The following day, March 31st, 2021, I called and asked to speak to the General manager, I was told he was on a call, and was asked to leave a message. I never heard back from him, but instead, he had one of the service guys call me. I reiterated that I would rather speak to the general manager instead and he said he was in a meeting and he would be getting to my call ASAP. Hours later I never heard anything back from them, So I went to the business and asked to speak to the GM, and tried to find a resolve to the issue, and he told me in a round about way to kick rocks.I dont appreciate the avoidance, and being ignored when there is an issue like this happening. Their service department needs to pay more attention to traded in vehicles, and needs to be more attentive when working on them as well to prevent faulty vehicles from leaving their lot. Management needs to work on their customer relations as well. I was a repeat customer, but will be no longer and will see to it that none of my family and friends buy from this establishment again.

Best car buying experience I have ever had. Worked James over the phone to purchase my 2017 Corvette. Gave me a quote over the phone and sent me the quote in writing. Flew out a week latter and picked up my car. On arrival at LEX their was a driver waiting to take me to the dealership. Completed paperwork with Josh and was on my way shortly their after. Then James called me the following day to see how my drive back to Virginia was. Awesome group of guys at the dealership.. Top notch...

There was scheduling issue but the guys worked me in anyways and got my truck serviced. They always do excellent work.Only issue is that one of my lug nuts was damaged when they were doing the tire rotation. I found it after i got home

I have Bought my last four vehicles from Jack Burford in Richmond. I have always recieved good service. Seems like it keeps getting better. I bought a 2018 silverado on labor day the salesman was Anthony Baldwin. I was treated very well while i was waiting every once in a while they would come check on me offering me something to drink. making sure i was comfortable. I will keep buying all my cars or trucks here. I always go where i am treated the best and this dealership is it.
