Our son bought a car from there back around April. It has been one headache after another. Problems with the car. Problems when trying to get it repaired by the car lot.Major problems with the loner. And never did receive a title. Supposedly due to the pandemic. Then finally finished dealing with them today. He got his money back, well a certain percentage after deduction for mileage and other charges. I just wonder what kind of a scam they are running. Could it be with the warranty company? Parents just stir your young adult children away from here.

Great experience at Richmond Auto Sales! Rich and Josh are great people to work with i drove away with the truck I wanted I would recommend them to anyone.

This was my first car purchase. I found a Kia Rio online that I was interested in and I was offered a discount of $2,000 if I could make it down that day and pay in cash. The reason was because the car had been sitting on the lot for 5 months and they planned to take it to auction tomorrow. I had saved up the money for months prior and I wanted the car. It was a big inconvenience, but I made arrangements and started the 3 hour drive (I lived in a different state). On the way, they called and said someone else was looking at the car (first interested person they had). Minutes later, he was signing a loan for it. They were going to hold it for me though if I would pay an extra $1,000. I was already two hours into my drive and it was still a good deal so I agreed to that. I got there and drove it and it seemed fine. Then, they pulled out the paperwork and it included $1,000 in extra fees that I didnt recognize. I was upset at all the fees because I didnt know what they were for, especially a $700 dealers fee. I tried to bargain and they said the only way they could lower the price was to take out the $150 paperwork processing fee because that was all the money they were making on that sale. I was upset but I had driven all that way so I agreed and we decided I would write a check to cover all the extra that I didnt bring in cash. The car was okay after that, although it costed me $1,500 to fix the door locks, which they said was probably just a blown fuse. There actually wasnt a fuse in there for the locks so they might have already tried that solution. It also took 3 months of back and forth between the dealership and the BMV for me to receive the title. I finally had them mail the paperwork to me so that I could do it myself and it wouldnt take so long. Overall, I would say probably dont buy from here if any of this sounds questionable to you. I am less naive now so I would personally not head back again.
