Eye opening experience. The huge selection of live edge slabs, each more beautiful than the previous one, was a bit overwhelming at first. The guy who was helping us was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions, helping us gain focus while giving us the space to browse and contemplate what will work best for us.Once we decided on a stunning 6 thick slab of Sycamore, we had to choose between the rustic patina of weathered grey or the warm yellows and ochre of natural oil finish. Talk about hard choices...Well, if it comes out as beautiful as the custom-fabricated Sycamore dinning table they had for sale in their show room, this mantle will be the center piece of our renovated family room. Cant wait till its ready!I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a live edge hardwood piece of design art.

Fantastic place with a very decent sized selection for the floor space. Very friendly staff and also very helpful. Pricing it high but the quality of wood pieces is worth it. A little sad on time frame to get my piece milled down flat but they prolly have a decent backlog with seeing how many visitors popped in while I was there. I wood recommend this place to anyone.

Good collection of live edge wood, not so friendly staff. I went there with my wife and a friend looking for a slab for a coffee table. As beginner wood workers we had a lot of questions. When we asked for a moisture measurement on a slab the staff refused and later explained (in comments here) that they will not lend us an expensive equipment while we were simply asking for a measurement. An other instance of the response we got was when I asked for estimated shipping/delivery cost for a slab the staff refused to give any useful information saying: many shipping companies charge different rates!I understand that this is a hard time for all small businesses and I hope Peroba Wood company to survive this time as they are one of the few places in bay area with this good of a collection. I just believe that how we (the three of us) felt we were treated by the staff cannot help the business as we were considering to go somewhere else.Edit: I originally mentioned, wrongly, that I was charged a 3% credit card fee. I apologize. I was mistaken and the owner correctly pointed that out.

What a find! These guys showed us lots of options for creating the type of environment we want around our home and yard. The staff was very knowledgeable and the pricing seemed very fair for the unique and interesting items. We will be spending a whole bunch of money here because they have such a big selection!

Your wallet will hate you. Tons of gorgeous live edge slabs in a variety of species, ranging from straight grained to highly figured, all of which is sustainably acquired from the state of California. Some really unique pieces, like some huge grafted English/claro slabs that are to die for. All of which is either air or kiln dried.Peroba also has access to a cnc machine to flatten your rough-sawn slab, cut bowties, etc. to make creating a gorgeous piece really easy, just debark, sand, and finish, and the prices are quite reasonable. If youre not a woodworker, theyll finish your piece for you if you choose.If you love woodworking, good luck leaving without dropping at least a grand, but youll be happy you did.

In furnishing our new home, my wife and I were looking for something truly special for our dining room table and the desk in our office. Thankfully, we found Idan and Peroba Reclaimed Wood! Karl was awesome! Super helpful and patient, showed us a variety of finished woods and how the raw pieces would turn out if we chose to let him finish the piece in the shop. Also explained how he could improve the piece with apoxy and also offered to cut to size, which could offer me a piece big enough for a desktop and a leftover piece for an end table! The selection is massive, and I searched high and low for a place to find anything at all, this place is a Warehouse with pieces for desktops, shelves, coffee tables and dining tables in about every wood you could imagine. In the end, I was a kid in a candy store here and I was ecstatic to pick the piece I will be blown away by every time I walk into my living area. If you want a piece of reclaimed wood with a live edge for anything at all, Peroba is your Mecca. Cheers boys!

Large number of slabs in excellent condition and competitive pricing. You could spend hours looking around the place. Karl made it easy to build this claro walnut console table - the trick is to have Peroba route the slab before you take it home. Such a great place.
