Extremely impressed with Eric’s knowledge and responsiveness in my search for a sofa last week. I emailed Eric one evening, he replied with options that night, and by noon the next day I had toured the options on the showroom floor with him, and had picked out a sofa (it was also in stock and was delivered that afternoon!). Lea is my go-to person at La Diff. She helps me sort through, what feels like a dizzying amount of options, to find just the right pieces that will fit in my home. She did this with my office where I had some antique pieces that I was trying to meld with a more modern feel and again today with our TV room. She has an exceptional eye! Grateful!

My experience at LaDIFF was great. Lea helped me find exactly what I was looking for and worked hard to get a delivery date that matched my schedule and wishes. The store is very nice, well organized, and clean; especially compared to the five other stores I visited in Richmond that day. While LaDIFF is a bit more pricey than some of their competitors, you get what you pay for in quality, service, and experience.

Very large showroom with multiple floors. Very luxurious outdoor showroom tho may change according 2 seasons. Nice art aswell as home decor to please any savvy shopper.

I recently moved to Richmond and after searching around for furniture stores decided to visit LaDIFF and was fortunate to encounter Lea who was really wonderful. She went out of her way to show me a bed in the warehouse since the floor display had been recently sold. I really appreciated Lea going above and beyond on a very busy day. After wasting many hours looking for furniture at stores with generic and ugly furnishings, I had found nothing and was ready to give up. Then I came here. The salespeople were helpful but didnt hover, and I found lots of unique furniture. I sat in two dozen chairs, all of which were comfortable. I was there for a dresser and a chair, and I got a great dresser, a small table, and a really nice couch. The delivery was a great deal, and all my stuff got here today. The deliverymen brought everything upstairs to my room and in total were here for less than twenty minutes. The process could not have gone better. I cant stress enough how much I like the furniture at this place. Theres lots of variety. After seeing the same five ugly chairs at big box stores, this was so refreshing. Theres several levels so the floor space isnt rambling or overcrowded. If you need furniture, dont waste your time elsewhere. Thanks Rick and everyone else. I would give you guy six stars.

Always something interesting and stylish on the floor. Easy to deal with and friendly staff. Prices are high but when it comes to contemporary furniture they are the only option in town, so you cant blame them for cashing in. Their buyers do a good job finding cool stuff, wish they would carry some more high end stuff that is hand crafted sold wood, most stuff uses ikea like construction methods. I was abke to find 1 bed that is solid cherry with poplar slats, but even that uses bolts instead of joinery.

We recently purchased an American Leather motion sofa at LaDiff. The quality of the sofa exceeded anything we had seen elsewhere and the customer service was terrific. We met several times with Jeremy Davis before making our selection and he was both incredibly knowledgeable and extremely patient. He went to great lengths to make sure that all of our questions were completely answered before we made a final decision.

Appreciated all the safety precautions LaDIFF had in place to make us feel safe while shopping for a new office chair. We made an appointment ahead of time and the doors were locked so people couldn’t casually walk in which kept the numbers down. Jeremy was very helpful answering questions and providing suggestions while keeping a safe distance and giving us space to browse the beautiful show room. If needed I would definitely revisit LaDIFF during these current world conditions.

I went to LaDIFF with the intent of purchasing a bedroom suite and was not at all disappointed. I walked in and Jeremy came up to me and asked if I needed help and I told him what I was looking for. He took me upstairs and showed me the bedroom furniture. No pressure whatsoever. He explained to me the different styles and pieces of furniture as well as the mattresses. We are both runners so it was nice to be able to talk running with him as we walked around the store. I made my choice and had it delivered. The delivery guys were great too. Bringing in the furniture and putting it together. I still have my eye on a sofa that I saw there and I need to purchase a dining room suite as well. Ill definitely be going back to LaDIFF to make those purchases and no doubt will seek Jeremys expertise.

My husband had been wanting a piece from La Diff, so when we remodeled and needed a different look in the dining room, it was a perfect excuse to go shopping there. I love that you don’t get hounded - but you know exactly who to go to when you have a question. Eric was very informative, honest, and collaborated with us to help us decide which dining room table to choose. Bc of COVID manufacturing delays, it would be months before we could get it delivered. But that was totally ok with us - it was the perfect table! Eric emailed us with a timely update, and then it delivered weeks early! Delivery was quick and easy. Everyone was a joy to deal with. And now we have a gorgeous modern dining room.

La Diff is one of my favorite stores in town, despite the fact I have pretty traditional tastes. We made this trip to look at outdoor umbrellas, hoping to find one without a 5-6 week wait. Rick and one of the warehouse men went above and beyond to put together a great base, pole, and canopy combination that we brought home. We felt safe shopping, considering the current environment.

I have furnished my entire home with furniture from LaDiff. Recently had recliner with a short in it. Called in for help and they sent out someone to right away to address it. For the quality of furniture, the service and most of all the people, there is no where else to buy furniture in Richmond.

Jeremy at LaDiff was such a great help during our time in the store. It was my wife’s birthday and she wanted to take a walk down the Canal Walk and go to the store afterwards. When we walked in we were surprised at all of the product in the store! We walked in to look at lamps but looked at things for an entire house within minutes lol. Jeremy came to us to assist us during our time there and found out that he has been to some places and is just as much of a foodie as I am! The furnishings at La Diff are fantastic but what really sets the shop apart is the assistance from the staff. In my case, it’s Lea. She’s knowledgeable about the items and doesn’t oversell you in terms of necessarily going for the most expensive pieces. She listens to your needs and wants and then nails it with suggestions. Nice leather furniture which is pricey. I was referred by someone and at the time of my visit, this store had been the only store that had the features that I was looking for. The associate I was dealing with was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with BEFORE the delivery of my furniture. Once I expressed that I was unhappy the situation with my furniture, of which I became very annoyed with and was very unimpressed with no illustration or documentation on how to adjust my furniture, I noticed a difference in tone and behavior, which I did not appreciate at all. I do not expect excuses or explanations, I expect what I paid for when I receive my merchandise.Also, this is the first time that I have purchased a warranty for furniture. I would not recommend purchasing the warranty for any furniture unless you have had the opportunity to read the warranty BEFORE purchasing it. LaDiff will not refund your money if you decide after reading it, which was not handed to me during the delivery and I later found, that you do not want it.I read some of the reviews AFTER my experience and I should have read them before I bought anything from LaDiff, which I was not planning to make an impulse buy on my first visit. Oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda. You live and you learn. As a result of this experience, I do not plan to spend any more of my money with LaDiff, which clearly does not respect me, my time or appreciate my patronage. Buyers beware!

We loved our experience at LaDiff. They had the perfect bed ( on sale!😊), Jeremy was helpful but not pushy and so patient as we looked at all the cool things in their gorgeous store.
