April and G were very professional and personable. My vehicle was towed here after hours after breaking down in Richmond. They quickly diagnosed and provided me an estimate and timeframe for when it would be completed. They were able to get the vehicle back to me a day early and i am very happy with the experience. Definitely recommend.

I was in Richmond for the day from Alexandria, had a screw/nail in my tire that luckily wasnt flat. Called and they were able to get my car in right away. Got it patched up quick and inexpensive plus outstanding customer service. If I lived closer Id definitely be back!

Wonderful experience. Visiting friends in RVA from New Jersey, and just as I got to town my brakes started grinding. Couldnt travel back north like that, so I was really at the mercy of an auto shop. Went here and they were awesome. April, the lady at the front desk, was kind, thoughtful, personal, and knowledgable. Had my car running smooth within a couple of days, at a fair price. Definitely recommended to my friends in the area.

I always take my vehicle to these guys for the basics. Recently had a weird issue with the engine temp on my Audi A7. The guys diagnosed and fixed the issues fairly quickly. Audi would have probably been double the cost, if not triple. Highly recommended!

I got an inspection and an oil change here. After using Jiffy Lube or Valvoline for years (for speed), when I combined my inspection (which was going to have to be dropped off no matter where I went) and the oil change it was still less than HALF of what I paid at the quick oil change places. Plus, the lady behind the counter was a lovely human with a great sense of humor. You can tell she really cares.

I’ve never had better service when I had car trouble. They replaced my dead battery the same day I got the car to them, even though they were packed with customers. I was able to grab my car after work through their locked key dropbox, even though they were closed. The car’s running better than ever now.Meanwhile, a local AAA shop had taken three days just to tell me they couldn’t help me.A good local car shop is a godsend. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out for your car trouble. Competent, friendly mechanics foster a peace of mind that’s hard to put a price tag on.

I highly recommend rva tire and auto. They are my go-to local shop and have never disappointed! I have a 2002 Ford Focus hatchback that has had a laundry list of odd repairs. Always a fast turnaround time and quality work!

The guys here go above and beyond. Pulled my tire off, just to find there was no problem, didnt charge me a dime. The guys even helped me drain the water out of my trunk that I had no idea was even there. You need quick service, come here.

They were so accommodating to my last minute need for a state inspection. Not only did they fit me in the day I called they never made me feel like I was being a burden on them. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and excellent. This shop is definitely my preferred one in Richmond now. Thank you all for your hard work.

I’m new to the area and went here based off of reviews. April is awesome and really works hard to get your car done fast, but also to the best quality. She took the time to find me the best deals as well, while giving me options, and kept me updated through the entire process. I got 4 new tires and a whole new break system in less than 48 hours and my car is driving great so far! 10/10 would recommend!!

My daughter is in college at VCU and her window regulator fell in her Civic. I picked RVA out of the blue to repair her car. My daughter said they were super nice and fixed her car in a couple of hours. It gives me a good feeling knowing she has someone honest and friendly she can take her car to in the event something happens.

My first visit they were able to squeeze me in last minute for a state inspection on a Friday. Id called a few other places & the soonest they could do was Wednesday the following week, so I really appreciated them fitting me into their schedule. The staff was helpful and friendly. Sometimes things will happen that are outside of a businesses control. An unsusal occurence took place that rendered my vehicle unavailable for about a week. I cant speak for the actual owner of the business as I personally did not hear from them and dont know if they reside onsite or to what degree of operatioal control they have but I can speak to the quality of the employees and mechanics that operate this shop. They personally reached out to me to mollify the situation. There are always going to be circumstances outside of our control, the way we react to them is how the character of a business can be judged. Again, I never heeard from the owner of this business but can say the folks who work here are top notch and should get a raise, they are why this review has 5 stars and not less. Despite everything that occurred, I left with a favorable opinion of this operation. Also I hope you get better insurance. -Scott

I called RVA Tire and Auto at 2:30 PM today (Friday), about 3 hours before they close expecting to get turned away. I told them I needed to get a tire repaired. Not only did they take me immediately, they had my tire fixed within an hour. This is my first time ever leaving a review because of how grateful and satisfied I am with the service I received from a business. 10/10 would recommend! Very thankful.

I am new to the area and a neighbor recommended RVA Tire. My entire experience was exceptional. April guided me through the VA inspection process, needed repairs, and cost. She showed me the defective part and explained how it should work and why it did not work. The work was done timely. Price was reasonable for the work involved. Very down to earth, I never feel like Im being yanked around over pricing or talked down to because Im feminine. The woman who is usually behind the counter is very nice as are all the techs Ive spoken to, Austin specifically (I think that was his name anyway).

Been here a couple times now and they always do an amazing job. Got my oil change here as well as fixing my brakes. They tell you exactly as it is. No need to worry about paying for what you don’t need or more. Front desk lady is so kind! Staff is very knowledgeable. Pricing is reasonable. Making this place my go to RVA car repair.

My car had multiple cylinder misfires and tried to overheat on me the night before I took it to them. The situation was urgent for me to get my car repaired ASAP because I had to work the next day in the evening. I called early in the morning and April was very nice and told me to come by and drop my car off. Thankfully the location of the shop is not far from my house so I was able to walk back home while they took a look at it. Once they diagnosed it, I was given a very reasonable quote and my car was repaired that same day and given back to me earlier than I expected. I have brought my car to them before for a tire change last year and had a stellar experience then and on this visit they showed me once again their top tier service. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and fair priced shop who will take of you and your vehicle. Shout out to April and her team for being awesome and helping me get back on the road so quickly on such a short notice, they are the real deal.

Ive been going here for a couple of years now since I live in the area. Ive never met anyone here who wasnt on point and patient with my entire lack of car mechanical knowledge. They really go out of the way to help and explain whats broken, what should be replaced, when, and how much everything would cost. The woman in the front--April, I think--is exceptional, and Ive never been to another auto center where the technicians actually pick up the phone to explain whats wrong with the car and what theyre going to do to fix it. Dont sleep on this place!

RVA Tire is the poster child for small-town service, quick turnaround and quality work. You can go somewhere cheaper, but I doubt youll get the same hospitality and attention to detail.

I highly recommend! These folks helped me out when I busted my tire on a busy Friday afternoon. Within a few hours, they had a new tire ordered and installed, and I was on my way home.What really impressed me was both how well I was treated, and how well I saw them treat other customers. I waited in their shop for part of the afternoon, and overheard the manager speaking to customers with a level of sincerity and transparency that is so rare these days. I’ll definitely be back for my tire work.

After calling endless places to get a steel rim that was bent on my car fixed.. i called these guys and they told me to come in and as soon as i walked in the door.. they took my keys and got to work right away.. not only did they fix the bad rim but they repaired ALL of them for no extra charge.. Im definitely coming back and recommending this place to anyone including my car club members

Got a flat tire and couldn’t get the bolts off. Took it to RVA auto and tire and woman at the front desk was pretty rude. And then this mechanic Andrew steps in and totally saves the day. He changed my tire immediately and didn’t even charge me. He was so sweet. If you need work done go to Andrew!!

Such nice people that I got into a conversation about cars with the mechanic, and Im not even into cars! They quickly and affordably completed my synthetic oil change and brake fluid change on the same day. RVA Tire & Auto also took great care of a guest of ours who was visiting from Nebraska who had car trouble. Recommended!

I went to two other shops, spent way too much money, and didnt even get my AC working properly. Then a neighbor referred me to RVA tire and auto service. They were great. They diagnosed the exact problem and fixed it quickly. The other shops wanted to replace a bunch of components in the AC system and they didntd need replaced. A couple of gaskets were worn out and there was a small leak on the charge port. Now that those are fixed my AC blows cold again! Price was fantastic, they called several times during the day to give me updates. Ill be going back there from now on.

Came in and mentioned that i had one tired that had been losing air through out the previous days, asked about getting it plugged, but they mentioned something about getting it permanent closed from the inside. Didnt take long roughly about 30 minutes. Did a 9 hr trip to Kentucky and no issues what so ever! Awesome people in there.

100% recommended! This place used to be Jacksons automotive. A repair shop that I was on a first name basis with. Well the good thing is, this new shop is run by people who care just as much! Skyler and Justin, whom are mechanics but also run the front desk, took so much care and time to my car to diagnose, fix it, and give me a great deal, when my car had some issues pop up that theyd never experienced before. Theyve even retained one of the great mechanics, Nat, who used to work when it was Jacksons.I can honestly say that anyone in the fan who arent sure about this new shop, should definitely go! They really will take care of you as a friend and your car as if it was their own!

My friend always takes her car here and now- so do I! They have always been fair with me, and while sometimes I feel they might charge a bit (and I mean only a tiny weeny bit) more than others on what they do- they have NEVER charged me for a service I didnt need. They have taken wonderful care of my car, doing those little extra services that just show they care. Like rotating the tires after changing the brakes because why not right? And not even charging me to the point I have to beg them to take my money lest I feel like Im cheating THEM! When have you ever had that reversal of roles at a mechanics shop??

Kind of nit-picky about inspections but they do good work and generally have fit me in whenever I bring my car in, been going their since they first opened not too long ago.

After making an appointment for an oil change ahead of time and dropping my car off at the designated appointment time, I was advised they were backed up. That is understandable, but the gentleman advised it would get done same day. 5 and a half hours later they call to say they don’t have a mechanic that could perform an oil change. That is outrageous.

Friendly staff, took care of an oil change, tire rotation and tire patch within a work day on short notice and for a good price.

The best place to get your car fixed and maintenance.

I live pretty close to this auto shop but every time I’ve called to get something done there is always an excuse for why they can’t do something small the same day. After calling on about 10 different occasions for a simple state inspection I decided to go to the other auto shop near my house. It’s frustrating to get denied service that many times. I won’t be calling in again.

I knocked over their tires while trying to let gravity park my dead car in their lot and they helped me pick them up and move my car. Havent gotten the bill yet, but so far theyve been friendly, fast, and place itself is pretty clean.

I wanna thank RVAuto for their smooth search- and -suggestion posture they have displayed for the last 3 services Ive received from them since Febrary 2018 . They genuinely care about getting my car in the shop after carefully searching for parts. Justin,head Mechanic, is as cool and down to earth as a mechanic comes when it comes to giving you a full analysis of options if you have questions about your car and/or what it may need. His pro attitude is reflected thru his work crew.They have been consistent, casual and prompt all the way for me. Great cool hard-working guys!
