I went in for an oil change at 8am they were able to fit me in and got the work done very fast. Communication was great, they had to replace a part to past inspection and they did so fast and easy. 10/10

I had a very dead battery which lead to my security system failing causing my car not to start. And once the mechanics figured out the issue I suggested a small fix to reset the system and they also replaced my battery everything went smoothly and I felt that the staff communicated with me very well and in a professional manner. They also saw to my issue in a timely manner which was extremely helpful because I had no access to a car and had to get my vehicle towed to this location. Great service!!

The crew at Meineke Car Care Center at 5216 West Broad Street in Richmond did a great job on my daughters car. They were communicative, candid and professional every step of the way. They went above and beyond to make sure the repairs were done well and at a reasonable price.

I made an appointment for my car horn not working. It ended up being some loose wires and an easy fix but the tech was super friendly and ended up fixing it for no charge at all. They had me in and out of the shop in no time! I would highly recommend coming here and plan on coming back if I need any other maintenance done. Thank you guys!!

I grew up with a grandfather and father who owned a garage and towing company. They were the only people I trusted to do anything in my vehicles. However, the folks at this Meineke felt like family. They get the job done right, the first time, and don’t try to push folks into unnecessary spends. They are quick and efficient which makes them fantastic to work with.

Donny & Mike are fantastic. They were patient with me, explaining what was wring with my truck and explained my options. This Meineke will be my go-to service station from now on. I have already recommended them to my friends.

Do not waste your time or money coming to this shop they will completely wates your time. The manager Anton Floyd is extremely unprofessional and lacks major communication along with his employees. I literally waited around for 2 hours just to get no work done because Anton Floyd had to contact his vendor to get a part. The vendor brings the part but they find out its the incorrect part they received and didnt know how long it would be before they drop off the correct part. This location needs to be reported might I add he allowed one of his employees smoke a cigarette in the bay where they work on the vehicles extremely alarming.

Meineke saved me so much time and money! I originally had an appointment with Firestone (who told me it actually wouldn’t be done for two days even though I scheduled an appt, leaving me without a car for an entire weekend), so I took my car over to Meineke and they were able to do everything I needed and more for a better price, and got it all done within a few hours. Their service is amazing and don’t treat women like they’re incapable of operating a motor vehicle like some other places…I will be going to Meineke for any of my car troubles from here on out!

I would highly recommend Meineke for your car care needs. I made an appointment online and it was quick and easy. They sent appointment reminders leading up to the day.When I arrived the staff were nice and professional. I got my oil changed in a timely manner and was out the door in no time. I really try to avoid leaving negative reviews about a small business but, sometimes they prompt a course-correction for the involved business. The technician was courteous and professional but, not competent to be diagnosing repair issues with air conditioning systems.I brought my vehicle in for an intermittent air conditioning problem. The A/C would work exceptionally well after the car had been resting for several hours however, would only remain ON for approx. 15 minutes then cut off and not restart until another rest period. I was informed that my compressor was bad and would need replacement for the system to work properly. Im not an expert but this diagnosis did not seem rational since the system would work- and sometimes too well. It would produce very cold air- however, it would shut off and not restart. There are multiple components involved in a properly functioning A/C system. The recommended repair is about $1,200. I paid a $43.00 diagnosis fee and left with a ill-functioning A/C problem.The next morning, I took the vehicle to another repair facility. I explained the problem to the technician. Fifteen minutes later, I was informed the problem was a bad relay ($128.00 repair cost). The relay was replaced and the system works beautifully. Nothing is wrong with this relatively new compressor.So, in regard to Meinekes performance, Im out a $43.00 diagnostic fee for a bad diagnosis and the potential of an unnecessary $1,200. repair bill.Ill let the reader decide if this is good service but I wont be going to Meineke for any future care-care needs.

I do have to give them a score of 20. They not once push any other services on me like most places do. I am new to the area and they will be my to go guys with everything. Great attitudes and welcoming smiles.

I had a flat tire that was not able to be repaired. They were able take me in immediately and within a hour they had the new tire brought to their shop, and installed all for a reasonable price. The manager was extremely helpful, understanding, and courteous. Highly recommend!

I needed my car for a 6000 mile road trip, so I told them to check everything and was expecting them to try to sell me something so that I would be at 100% for the trip but nope! They did what they needed to and I was out.

I never thought Id love an auto shop so much. I easily scheduled an appointment for an oil change online and was in and out in about 45 minutes. The staff is very friendly and didnt try to upsell me on anything I didnt need, which happens at nearly any other place Ive been to. Their website I used to schedule my appointment also had a coupon that popped up when selecting what services I needed, so I ended up paying only $64 total for a full synthetic oil change. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

They had me in and out in less than one business day without an appointment, they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need, communication was great, and it was very affordable. We took my 2017 Subaru for state inspection yesterday. Their service was quick, efficient & professional. We have used this location MANY times - we started using them years ago when another business told us we needed a new catalytic converter for a car we were selling to a friend. We went to Meineke for a “second opinion,” and they determined it was just an issue with the engine sensor. We haven’t been to anyone else for service for my cars since. And, their fees are reasonable, too.

My brakes totally went out and I brought it here, the first place I googled with decent reviews, and they were kind, professional and upfront. The manager cut me a decent deal knowing how things are going in the world right now. I would’ve paid over $900 without those discounts, so I was extremely thankful to have only paid a bit over $700. They had to replace basically my whole braking system. Cylinders, boots, rotor cuffs, etc. he told me 4-5 hours for pick up and was calling me in a little less than that. Everything works great and looks great. The only downfall is that there isn’t strict mask measures even if there are signs on the door. Customers come into the waiting area without masks. Which, I honestly don’t expect a mechanics shop to be too clean but everyone should be respectful of the small space and wear a mask. What I liked the most was that it felt like a ‘mom & pop’ type of shop. Will go back here for other work!

Very courteous and timely. Treated well by person attending me. Reason for low review is because of the sales tactics. Don’t believe the giving you extra discount BS. They try and tell you they are going to give you a huge discount and after the discounts, price is normal to high range. After quoting me a variety of discounts totaling over $200 the price for the work was still higher than I thought it should be. The labor hourly rate quoted was $125 an hour, that’s what dealers charge. I might as well have gone to the dealer. So I paid the $50 diagnostic fee and took the car to AAA Car Care instead. AAA quote without discount sales pitch was about $150 cheaper and then lower price by 10% for me with AAA or military discount.

They are the best. No matter which office I go to. Thank you for taking care of me when I lost my DAD.

I love this Meineke. Robert who I assume is the manager is always nice. He helped me out a while ago with some lights that were going out in my wife’s vehicle. I had attempted to put them in myself, but wasn’t able to. Since I had them already he didn’t charge me for installing them. It might be a small thing to do for a regular customer, but that’s why I keep going back. It’s a convenient location and they are always efficient. They are up front with wait times especially at the end of the month for inspections. I highly recommend Meineke.

This is my first time utilizing this Meineke business. I used the one in Colonial Heights, VA but they closed down and for some unknown reason did not transfer their customer information to other Meineke businesses in the surrounding area. I contacted corporate who was no help because I didn’t have my invoice. I moved and papers were lost so I was very disappointed the lifetime brake warranty I had paid for in 2017 not be honored. Antone came to the desk after another employee checked me in. He was very professional, and displayed excellent customer service skills (i.e. asked us would we like something to drink, was there anything we need, etc.) those skills are lost in today’s society. It was very refreshing. I listened to him engage in conversation with another customer and the laughter from their conversation. He made an unpleasant experience with Meineke a pleasurable one for me watching him engaging with other customers.

I’m fortunate to live very nearby my local Meineke Car Center, but even if I didn’t, I’d bring my car here for service. These guys are always professional, courteous and on-time, not to mention a great value. I can’t believe I was paying upwards of $70 for an oil change at one of the other “while you wait” locations, and that wait time could often be 90 minutes or more. I get a better level of service as well as quality parts and materials at Meineke.

I’ve been coming to the Meineke on Broad for years and I wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else. These guys are hands down the best! I trust them and that’s hard to come by these days.

I made an appointment to do a 60,000 mile service on my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. They gave me a ride home and called me in the time they said with a quote. I proceeded to have the work done which was completed in less than 2 hours. They picked me up. Everything was done very professionally. Very friendly. I would highly recommend. I’ve also had my inspection done there in the past.

I went to Cadillac to have an exhaust repair, they quoted $1,890.00. I took it to Meineke and they fixed it completely for $100.00. And quickly too!

I found it super helpful that they take walkins! I always realize past the date that I need an oil change.🤦‍♀️ I was able to drop my car off for a few hours while I went to work, (I work across the street -talk about convenient) and they gave me a call when it it was ready to go. They even fixed one of my break lights for me. Reasonably priced, Ill definitely be using them again.

I was able to make an appointment to drop my car off on a Monday morning. The shop assessed my car’s problem and fixed it. The car was ready about three hours later. Cost was reasonable.
