This shop caters to industrial equipment, heavy trucks and fleet users, but they still have always been responsive and professional with a small fry like me. I first used Colony several years ago with an RV that needed new tires and had some electrical issues. I know they spent more time on it than they billed me for on that project and I have been coming back for tires and service ever since. Their shop rate is competitive, and for the several projects I have taken into them Colony has stuck to their estimates and always given me my moneys worth. More than that, the one time I did have an issue (premature part failure) with a repair on a diesel pickup they were sure to make it right. Thats the kind of outfit you want to do business with. They have never charged me steep markups for parts or tried to push any work that wasnt worth doing. Every time I have come here has felt like a fair shake. Just bought another set of tires today and plan to come back when I need more.

We have been to Colony Tire in Richmond, VA at least 3 times and have always been impressed with the professionalism and service with Colony Tire as well as their prices. Recently we visited for a check up on our Motorhome tire status. We were thinking we had to rotate our tires as well as checking inflation to improve our ride quality. As an ex tire manager for a truck fleet company, I was throughly impressed with the education that I received from the Senior Commercial Account Manager Tom Southward on Motorhome tire pressures as related to actual gross weights. Colony Tire is trustworthy, does top notch work for a reasonable price. They have saved my company thousands of dollars by solving an ongoing problem with forklift tires, and we couldnt be happier. We called ahead and ordered tires for our RV. When the tires came in, we brought the RV in and happily had no wait to be taken in for service. All of the technicians were courteous, friendly and professional. They had us in and out in~2 hours. Highly recommend this shop!!

Best tire shop and mechanical shop. If you have a truck, from pickups to 18-wheeler, depend on them. Roadside service (hopefully youll get Jimbo) for Richmond and surrounding counties, Va. cities (Norfolk, for example).

Two stars for fast service. Carried a 15” tire with a small nail in it to be repaired. (Not on the car) left with my tire and $49.47 lighter in the wallet. Thought that was kind of pricey !

Great place well experienced staff

Had a tire blowout on my trailer this morning so the day didnt start out well. Colony was called by my company and showed up shortly after. Tire man jimbo showed up, and as it turns out we know some of the same people which made for a fun conversation and made me forget about the tire blowout. Good experience with colony.

I had an out of town work van break down in downtown, which left my crew stranded. Despite being short handed, John and his team prioritized my needs, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it the same day. I’m 400 miles away, but if I could shake their hands I would. Great job!

Had a blow out on 95 and went a got a new tire. They were fast and fair price

Took my 02 Ranger for a simple inspection. It was rejected for wipers & lience plate light. So replaced both & came right back. Nope need light assembly because the light could blind someone behind me!!!! OMG3rd time is a charm.....go back with new wipers, new light, & light assembly....one of the office guys tells me how sorry they are & gives me 2bags of peanuts, a ink pen, & a note pad!!! Lmfao!!
