My rear-end died and they fixed it...3times. But they took my newer brakes and rotors on old unit and now Im replacing both rotors and pads. The put my toyo 3s that are directional backwards and now Im buying new tires for the rear. Both front and back bought at same time but back ones just were dragging like erasers. I drove by and my suv was up in the air for a few days, now my drivers door dosent close and for some reason unknown to me I got lube on my hood latch? 🙃I payed for service and am paying now for the mistakes. But I think more about how everytime I would stop by, no one was wearing a mask? Bad service, bad management. I asked for my good brakes but was told those brakes are jus as good as the old ones but still didnt get em.I thank Aamco for being their but its costing me more than I wanted.

Had a check engine light come on while on the way out of town, going from SF to the Sierras. Called a few spots along the way. Most said checking with a scanner would be $85-$150 and that if have to leave the car for a couple hours. Not here. He said scanning is free and would just take a couple minutes but that if further diagnostic was needed it would be $120 and take a 2-3 hours since I didn’t have an appointment. I got there, he scanned it in a couple minutes and told me what I suspected, that it was probably nothing big, probably just a gas cap and that I could do that myself. If that didn’t work, I could come back for the diagnostic but that the car was fine to drive for the trip. Super helpful and no salesman BS. Thanks much.

Cheated a deaf kid out of $120.00 charge for a free checkup that is offered on their website. The service man wrote in a small scribble $120 and failed to mention it at all. I’m just letting you know not to trust ammco in Richmond. Also I’m deaf and I told them out the offer online.

I went to get my engine light to be fixed and I asked the service manager that if he fixes the internal problem and shift control solenoid the engine light is not going to come back on right? he replied yes. They fixed my car for more than 2 days and I came to pick it up on Friday and I paid $1033 to get rid of the engine light, After 1 hour, the engine light came back on already and my wife took the car back to his shop. He told my wife that he already told me that it is only 50/50 chance to get my engine light off. If he would told me that and I will not even bother to get my car fix at all. They couldnt fix my problem and I cant get a smog check because the engine light is still on and I cant get my sticker for my car also. They are supposed to be professional and they are not. This is wasting too much time for me. Is this how you do business? I am so dissappointed with this kind of unacceptable service!!!!!

Mike is awesome! He fixed our car is no time flat. I think its worth it going to a reputable place like aamco where the work is guaranteed. I have a whole new respect for transmissions from this day forward.

This place is trash. Where do I begin? I needed my clutch slave cylinder replaced and it was inside the bell housing of my truck and there was no way I was going to drop my transmission to replace it.They stated I needed a new seal on my exhaust. OK, fix it. They cracked another seal while they were doing it and did not replace it! Took me awhile to figure that one out. They kept my vehicle an additional 4 days because they could not get my clutch system to bleed and needed a special machine. I looked it up later to find that you HAVE TO TAKE THE THING OUT OF THE VEHICLE TO BLEED IT! It is quite impossible to do it while in the vehicle because of the way Ford routed the hydraulic line. A transmission place that doesnt know how to properly bleed a clutch? What a joke.Lets talk pricing. Do not trust these people. I looked up the slave cylinder they put in my truck and it is a 60 dollar part. They charged me 200$ for it!Do not take your vehicle here. They have no idea what they are doing. God forbid you let them rebuild your transmission.

Beware of the mental and emotional abuse that is applied to rob innocent and humble people in repairs and false false diagnoses, enough is enough.
