I had my windshield replaced earlier this year by them. I had an accident this morning, nobody was hurt!, where the airbags went off. The windshield worked perfectly containing the airbags. I was concerned about this since I had heard that some replacement windshields fly away. I am now even more happy with my service and more confident to recommend the place.

I came yesterday and they were swamped. By the time they got to me they had to inform me that my original quote for my windshield would be higher because they didnt have the part that that I had called in for earlier. According to them I had supposedly given them the incorrect car year. I understand that misunderstandings happen, but I for sure gave them the correct info (I know my car?). So I was told to come the next day. So why the 5 stars? The person who helped me was very sincere in their apology, told me to come before opening, and even gave me a discount. On top of that when I was (politely) adamant that I gave the correct year, he acknowledged that whatever happened happened and he moved forward into helping me. Mistakes happen so Im not one to get upset about that, but the fact that they went out of their way to help me out totally made me a new customer and they deserve 5 stars

Terrible customer service. The boss (indian guy) is super rude. I called in 3 hours ahead and arrived and had to wait another 3 hours. Ridiculous. Needs more organization to make faster service. I recommend paying the extra 10 dollars some where faster.

The speed and price of the service was surprisingly good. To be very honest, I was suspect of the quality of the windshield glass as the shop is located next door to Pull-A-Part. But the windshield was new and expertly installed at a great low price. I have been fixing my own small cracks for years, but due to their low cost and high quality service, I will bring my repairs to Richard and his crew for a full replacement windshield moving forward.

I was shopping around due to a unidentified flying object, formerly known as a pebble, hit the driver side of my windshield which led to a crack about two feet long point in different directions. Tried to install a rear vent window in my Honda Pilot and failed. Called this place in Richmond and got a quote of $60 for the installation (I already had procured the correct glass), an excellent price compared to the alternatives.Got there to a waiting room with about 5 people waiting. Remembering my earlier call and sensing my impatience because I had just driven 30 minutes on his recommendation, the guy in charge (white-haired, middle-aged, of Indian Subcontinent extraction) somehow managed to find one of his workers to tackle my car, while also serving the other people waiting whose number diminshed rapidly during my approximately 30 minute stay.The job was done quickly, competently, and very efficiently with skill and the right tools, a feast for the eyes of this aging mechanical engineer.Next time I wouldnt bother checking out anyone else -- would go straight to this outfit. Trash service. Called for a quote on a window. Was told I could not be given a quote even for replacing the glass as a whole job without other work and even if I did not expect him to stick to it. Didnt even give me a quote on what it would be to bring it in. I dont live in Richmond and wont drive out there to be ripped off, so I just asked if they know the price for glass replacement. Was very rude to me and essentially hung up on me. Called Oakland and within seconds was told $45 to look at it if it just needs glue thatll be the whole fee and if I needed a glass it would be quoted for me immediately. Its called customer service, I buy and sell cars and now will never use this locations glass service due to one bad interaction from a glass man who doesnt want business apparently.

This morning while enjoying a nice meal with my roommate, I had my car broken into along with another guys car. The perpetrator smashed my window to grab my roommates stuff. Thankfully they didnt take anything from me as well but they did leave me with a broken window. The other guy who also got vandalized let me know about Low Price Auto Glass, so I called them up and they told me they could see me that same day. It was a rainy day today so I was glad that they could see me and get everything sorted. When I asked what my out the door cost would be, they quoted me $120 + tax for the right rear window. I couldnt believe it, and had to ask just for the glass, right? Nope, replied the owner, thats the glass and labor. Needless to say I was pretty stoked since Im a poor college student and every dollar counts. The whole thing took maybe 40 minutes and I was out with a professionally fitted new glass in no time. Crooked guy in the office.. Scammers .. great work by the workers, but make sure you double check it.. if you get tints. Check your windows and make sure they are stable they like to take it off track a little so it comes off later then they can charge you to fix it ..

Called bout replacing my quarter pannel window on my 4runner. Got quoted way less than Safelite and Toyota themselves so I went ahead and went through them. The day it was supposed to be installed, somehow there was a miscommunication and the delivery guy brought them a rav4 window instead so I had to wait another week but they kept the original price for me. Window was installed in 20 minutes give or take, it came with a darker tint that I didnt realize until already installed so we had to wait till the window set to remove, the guy was quick and even explained the process to me/answered my questions as he was removing it. Small place but everyone working there is very nice and they seem to know exactly what they were doing. Will reccomend and go back!
