Everyone at the shop is so nice and helpful! Definitely check this place out for your car repairs. My car was done early and they kept me in the loop the whole time. They also just did a good job with my car repair in general and worked with my insurance to get everything covered!

I took my car here after I was rear-ended in the middle of the night. My insurance company suggested to go here for an estimate, everything went smoothly, but unfortunately there was damage that couldnt be seen and the car was totaled. The employees here were very friendly every time I communicated with them and very knowledgeable. I asked to pay my deductible upfront and was told to wait and I am glad I did.

Koontz did an amazing job on our car. We needed to have the hood and grille repainted due to some serious chipping and their work is impeccable. It was a little pricier than other paint shops in the area, but oh my god, worth every penny. They kept us posted throughout the process so we had a rough idea when it would be ready, which was nice. Plus theyre friendly and very responsive when you have questions. Well be going to them from now on.

I read the reviews of this place before coming here as my wife damaged her car, as this was a progressive preferred body shop. Knowing the inside about how preferred shops control shops, I was weary as that means they do most of that insurance companies work. The communication between insurance and shop was not bad, I would say there were some issues but it was an odd circumstance so it’s not the shops fault. On the day of pick up, I noticed some minor issues and addressed them with jimmy, who later I found out was the owner of this establishment. Jimmy not only understood and agreed with me, he promised all the work would be done right. He didn’t try to make excuses or invalidate my concerns in anyway which MOST shops will do. Upon the next date of picking up my wife’s car, not only was the car immaculate, but all issues had been perfected and done right as jimmy said. I’m not sure why people feel the need to leave a bad review without taking the issue up with the shop but I will say this, if you have any issues talk to jimmy. This guy knows his business inside and out, and from here on out I will ONLY use HIS shop and services. If you value a company who does right and who makes things right, then you need to go here and read this review as it’s 100% honest and legitimate. Thank you jimmy for all you did mentioned and not, it made a huge difference and in the end you stand out above all the others by how you handle things and making right. As crazy as it sounds, I almost wish the car needed more body work so I could deal with Koontz again. Throughout the process, from estimate to final bill, they were friendly, efficient, and professional. They gave me a break on the bill and even vacuumed the interior of the car leaving it cleaner than they found it. The repair looks great!

I brought it to the lady attention and squatting down, she reached under and commented oh they forgot to put the screw back in, Oh, no wait, I snapped it back in.Me: ok, cool its snaps in hm didnt know that. two days later Im coming home from work and sounded as if I ran over a cardboard box so I pulled my car over to see if I rolled onto something and it was my DAMN CAR COVER TORN UNDERNEATH MY CAR! nope never will I return.

Welcoming, professional, timely. I used them for my own problems and brought several other people to them. All work done right. Once there was a small problem, and they redid that part of the job immediately, right, and without protest.

I recently got hit from the rear and I was recommended by my auto insurance USAA to fix the damages. I was nervous because I am not familiar with the area and decided to try them. They are very professional and explained everything. While my car was with them a construction vehicle backed into the front bumper. They called me to explain what happened and fixed it free of charge. I appreciate them letting me know. I couldn’t tell the difference when I looked at the front. I wouldn’t have known if they didn’t tell me. They even showed me a before photo. My experience with them fixing the bumper and reinforcement bar overall was very positive and I plan use them in the future again.

Update upon completion of work: The people here are friendly and the work was well done. As you can see below, it was a frustrating process. Once the estimation was done, they pretty much kept their word on when the work would be done. The last day was a bit of a snafu - They seemed surprised that I wanted my car back that day when it was never presented to me that itd be any later than that day (11:45am call: probably about 2 hours, but possibly later this afternoon was what was promised). In the end, I got my car back at about 4:55pm that day after calling at 4:10pm and asking what the hold up was. The work they do is good, but if you go here, be prepared to be pressing them with calls and being your own advocate every step of the way.Update 3:05pm on 1/9 after writing this initial review - I have received an estimate that Im satisfied with. Going forward with the repairs and will update further as promised.Ill update/edit my review if I ever manage to get an estimate or work actually done. Theyve had my car for over 13 days and I have yet to receive even an estimate. I called this morning at 8:30am and was told Id be called right back... its now 1:45pm and still no call. Brought my car here on AAA Care Centers recommendation and am wishing I had just done my own research and gone somewhere else.

Had a massive dent in the bumper of my car and they were so helpful and kind! I was able to make an appointment right away, and once I got there they fixed in about 5 minutes (not even) and were so kind to not charge me for just pulling out the dent. So grateful for the quick fix and friendly people. Thank you!

Went to Koontz body shop to get a side mirror replaced. They quoted me the best price compared to all the other shops I went to. Once the parts came in and was painted (less than a week), they installed it and had me out the door within an hour.All the staff there are professional and friendly. Really fast and helpful service. Needed a drivers side mirror replaced. Got an estimate on Wednesday and by Friday morning I had it mounted and was ready to go. Keith found me a used one in a matching color which saved me a ton of money. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service! Had some door damage that was letting rain water leak in and wanted to see what my quick options were for stopping the leakage apart from replacing the door, and I was recommended to Koontz.They took a look at it first thing in the morning on a walk in and basically before I could sit down they were hammering away at it. 5 minutes later they were able to help me out with exactly what I needed - a quick fix to prevent the leakage.They could have absolutely charged me the base labor rate, but they said not to worry about a charge and sent me on my way.In short, very honest and helpful! Woman at the front desk was very helpful and nice as well!

This is a top-notch body shop. Let me preface this review by saying that Im a pain-in-the-a$$ New Yorker and expect everything to be perfect... that said, Keith and the crew really delivered. A quick synopsis of the experience:1) We had multiple repairs on two vehicles2) Keith, Marianne & Katie handled all the insurance paperwork, estimating and scheduling. It was a solid turn-key experience.3) Getting in accidents isnt fun and neither is the repair process, but this team has it down to a science and I applaud their efforts.4) We shopped the work around and their price was more than fair.5) They detail the car at a hand car-wash around the corner so the ride comes back looking super-fresh.Long story short: If you get in a fender-bender youd be nuts to not head over to Koontz and roll out a few days later with a car that looks brand new!

My truck was damaged recently and my insurance works with Koontz so I decided to go there to get the work done. They did a great job repairing and repainting my truck.I noticed a scratch on my tailgate a few days after they had repainted it and wasnt sure if it was new or something they had overlooked. I took it in and the owner checked it out, told me he had inspected the truck himself after it was fixed and that hadnt been there, but he still said hed fix it for me. Sure enough they fixed it for me, free of charge, even though they didnt have to. Thats incredible customer service.

I had two minor issues discovered once the work was complete and actually one of those issues was pointed out to me by Koontz.They had me bring my car back, paid for my rental, and fixed those issues without ever trying to deny fault (unlike every other shop).The team at Koontz was very friendly, and I am very pleased with the level of service I received.

The lady in the office is awesome. As a retail business owner I know awesome when I see it. The work was perfect and the whole experience could not have been more pleasant or easier. I highly recommend this company. I knew nothing of them prior to this experience.

I make no exaggeration when I say this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a body shop or mechanic. They told me my car would be ready for repair in three weeks. I called in when those three weeks had completed, to be told it would be ready the next day. The next day, I was told it would be ready the day after. This went on two or three more days until being told they neglected to order a required part and that I would have to wait another week. That week completed and I called in, to then be told they couldnt get my air conditioning to work after replacing a part. Finally the next day I was told my car would be ready for pick up. Upon entering my vehicle I found a crack in the side of the drivers seat adjustment panel. Now, not even two months have passed and my air conditioning completely dismantled itself while on the road. These people are inept, do not work with them. If you have Progressive, they will recommend this place. Reject the recommendation unless you want to risk hell the likes of what I experienced.

This the second time I have experienced Koontz @ its best. Both times due to the negligence of hateful people who have no respect for other peoples property. My fiancee rear panel, back into and had shredded metal curled up on the drivers side with rear light damage was totally fixed and back to its original way in 3 days. Yes 3 freaking days. Are you serious? And get this Koontz calls the local Enterprise to have your rental car ready if thats what your choice is.The 2 ladies at the front desk are so kind, professional and sweet. It all starts with these women who have all the answers to any questions you may have. They are the best and its a pleasure to deal with people of such class. My parked car was hit and run 3 weeks ago and my insurance sent me to Koontz. They are friendly and organized. Tyler, who works with Progressive, called to give me updates and worked to extend my rental coverage. The situation was a major incovience however, they restored it back to new. Great job to the staff and repairmen. 10/10 would do again... but hopefully will never have to!

Anyone who hasnt worked in the auto insurance and repair industry shouldnt be allowed to write reviews on body shops, you people honestly have no idea what youre talking about. The shop has your best interests in mind, and is only trying to repair your vehicle correctly and as quickly as possible. If you honestly think the insurance company is honest and cares about you then you are blind as well as dumb, 80% of what insurance companies get away with should be criminal. Leave these shops alone and let them do their job. Do you tell a surgeon how to perform open heart surgery? The next time you need your car repaired either let the professionals do their jobs or live with the damages and deal with it. And please, if you feel it warranted to blame the body shop employees, who are working their fingers to the bone, for issues that are caused by your greedy insurance company then kindly get lost.

I had to bring my car here after it was hit. Originally, they told me my car would be ready in one week. After the week, I called to check in to see if it was ready and I was told they had to just wash the car and double check the alignment. I thought okay, one day isnt so bad. I called back the next day to see what the status was and I was told that my car still needed to be painted an they needed another day. Upset with this, I asked why it needed to be painted all of the sudden. They do not communicate with the front desk nor their customers. They told me repeatedly theyd call me when they never did. Highly unimpressed.

Highly unprofessional place of business. Went to get an alignment and axle change on a small sedan..it ended up taking 7 days total ( I was initially told 1-2 days). Ridiculous. Only went here because it was the closest and backed by my insurance. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental car, and was initially told it would take 1-2 days. I called on the 2nd and they had not even started to fix my car...and could not even give me an estimate write up date...sketchy. I ended up having to treat them like a child and call them every day to make sure they were clear on what to do and what their status was. I was constantly placed on hold for 20 minutes at a time (annoying because I work a full time office job). They stated they were initially unclear as to what I needed done, and what insurance said, but if that was the case they should have straightened that out on their own time, not while I have to work and pay for a rental car myself for 5 extra days.They were not done 3 days later, causing me to rent the car for an extra 4 days. On the pick up day, Renee was very rude, I, and other customers, could over hear her talking to my insurance wanting me to pay further. Koontz already got $4,000+ for the axle and alignment. My insurance said they charged $44/an hour for labor which then dawned on me as to why they took so many days to fix something my dealership could have done in half a day. And the nerve of them wanting to get me to pay an extra deductible (My insurance reps told me I was not responsible) while I already paid $350 for a rental, out of pocket. All in all, I just wanted to save someone else the time and headache from going here. Seriously go somewhere else, unless you have 2-3 weeks to waste waiting for work to be done at $44/an hour. I am also going to ensure my insurance takes them off of their list so others wont have to experience the same crap.

Renée and Jimmy went above and behond to help me with another mechanics mistake. They were quick and easy to deal with not just trying to take my money. They gave me options to deal with my issue. I will not be taking my truck to any other mechanic. They totally earned my loyalty and trust. As a female, I believe the shop is the best place to be taking your vehicle.

Talk about procrastination or straight out liars. I took my car to be services after hitting an unsuspected hump in the road. Car was look at and was told a bunch of crap wrong other than what I came in for.One of the guys name Keith told me he would call me with an estimated price for the repair,to date he hasnt called me.I will never refer this company to any one. I took my car to the dealer an its running perfectly and the repair price was very affordable.$300 less than what I anticipated.

Literally the first thing out of the receptionists mouth -NO MATTER WHAT- is Are you using insurance?. Been in there 3 times JUST TO GET AN ESTIMATE and they tell me come back after I answer not sure if Im using insurance. It comes across as very sleazy. If KOONTZ doesnt want to be a preferred vendor for USAA Ill be sure and call them immediately and inform them. Ive been sent away as a USAA member three times now. SO UNPROFESSIONAL

I needed to change the rear bumper of my car. I took my car to several body shops for estimation. I got a fair price at Koontz. I was worried since my car was 2006 the new bumper (I did not pay for original part) or the color would not match. But they did a good job and hardly anyone can tell if I changed the bumper.

Took a very long time but it was in December and I didnt mind driving the awesome rental my insurance company was paying for. After getti g my ride back, had a problem with one of my automatic doors not closing all the way without help and some paint above windows gone, so Im taking it back as work is guranteed through my insurance so will review again how that goes.
