I went just for regular service, no one using masks in the reception area, not even they bothered to do so once I stepped in. I wait in the showroom, they were not using masks neither. Incredible.
I brought my car in for a routine oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection. I normally go to Mechanicsville Toyota but they didn’t have any available appointments so I went to Haley. I sat waiting for my car for over two hours. When my car was finally done I began to drive home. About 30 minutes from my house, two hours after I left the service center, my car behind making a horrific noise. It almost sounded like a lawn mower. I am not familiar with cars so I kept driving home praying that I wouldn’t break down. About 6 minutes from home my car starts making a louder noise and it shut off three times within 5 minutes. I parked the car. It was 8 at night so I had to wait until the next morning to speak with someone. I called at 8am and let a representative know what was going on. Before I could finish my sentence the rep said we will give you a call back. Finally Bob Yarusinsky gave me a call back. He told me to drive the car back to the service center, despite me stating that it had shut off previously three times. He also asked me if I checked my oil. I moved from the Richmond area to Martinsville a week prior. I came back to Richmond to get my car serviced because I am more familiar with that area. Bob did contact Nelson Toyota in Martinsville and they were very nice. They towed my car to their service center and repaired all of the damages. They let me know that the oil filter housing had been cracked and all of the oil was spilling out of the car, which is why it was making that noise and cutting off. They also let me know that my car didn’t make it into the center before they had to put oil in it. My boyfriend then called Bob to let him know what happened. Bob seemed to be upset because I found out what happened before he did. He proceeded to blame the issue on me, stating that I drove 3 hours with the car. This was the worst and scariest experience I’ve ever had and I would not recommend Haley Toyota on Midlothian to anyone.
Terrible service, too long for a small repair (4 weeks)They broke the antenna of the car and they were not responsible.I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, it was a very bad experience.
